The location of the hotel & that we could see the beach. They lied and said they gave us our deposit back. It was cheap. The chairs were broken. The room wasn’t worth as much as it was. The hotel looked like it needed to be remodeled 10 years ago.

Site is being remodeled. First floor was mostly blocked off. There evidently was a problem with the sprinklers and fire system and construction was red carded and marked unsafe for occupancy by the City. Another notice on the door said Occupancy was not permitted after 72 hours from posting on 3/11/25. Reservations were being cancelled, beyond 72 hours They should have called us and explained the situation ahead of time or cancelled our reservation too. We only planned to stay 1 night or we would have left. This building permit issue either is resolved or the site is shut down by now.

So when I checked in, the hotel door had a notice to vacate the premises. I still checked in because the man at the front desk said it was not a problem. By the morning the place was condemned. If I had known that the place was under construction I would not have stayed there. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and the place was not good experience. Parking area dark. I didn't feel safe. Electrical panels were left open not safe. I am looking forward to getting a refund. 200 dollar plus room should be safe and comfortable.

Views are blocked due to a largo condo complex and despite the hotel having barely any people they gave me a room at the back of property. I paid for a higher floor but my view sucked. The room was not clean, stained sheets, cup rings on every surface, and my feet were filthy after walking barefoot on the dirty floor. Beds are worn out not comfy. Place is dirty and for the price it is a complete rip off.

We liked the location and how close it was to the beach and downtown Huntington. The bathroom in the room was updated and nice. The staff were very nice and helpful. The rest of the room was okay, not great but not terrible. The bed was okay, but the pillows were incredibly small / not a standard pillow size / and were uncomfortable to sleep with. The entire bottom level of the hotel was under construction, something that was NOT disclosed when booking the hotel, and was only made aware when checking in.

This little Inn served its purpose, only downfall was there is no microwave in the rooms and they are renovating so there wasn’t any coffee or tea service as shown in the pictures while booking. You can’t beat the location and the staff was all very friendly! We will probably book again in the future. Thank you!

Overall, our stay was good. The only issue was that the staff was very rude, and the WiFi didn’t work. They told us it was because of the 'fires,' but the signal was on—we just couldn't connect. Every other nearby place with WiFi was working perfectly. We chose this place for a business trip, so at times, we really needed WiFi. That being said, the price-quality ratio was really good, so it was still a decent option.

Nice hotel with affordable rates. The staff were really nice. My room was clean. Be mindful that the hotel is doing renovations so they do not have breakfast currently, but a good local coffee shop is a 2 block walk. 12 mins from beach was good we stayed at the huntington for new years night room 426, we only booked it because it says it has a indoor heated pool , they lied, because of need surgery i needed that swim witch i have to do 2 times a day at home . if not it hurts to walk or sleep, we got there at 4 checked in room 426 then i have to swim for min 15 went down to pool ice cold water , so i new if the heater was it would take hours to heat up , so i asked the front desk hot to turn on the hot tub and heater for hot tub , she stayed , it has been broken for about 5 months now , waiting on repairs , that's a lie i am sure they just don't care about swimmers that would book that place just for the pool, plus there was about 20 towels just laying all over the floor, and in the restroom by pool , there was about 10 towel on the floor next to trash can , you can tell staff has not been in there all day to clean that stuff up, we had to go book a new stay down the street with a heated indoor pool , hotel huntington should remove the heated pool part off the web page in fixed . i would like a full refund or another free night stay when pool is fixed . jason mcleod room 426 9096003706 and the bar and restaurant we closed for new years

The hotel was under construction in the lobby, but the rooms were nice and updated. The only issue (which wasn’t the hotel’s fault) was the building construction going on next door that created an ugly view off my balcony and some noise in the morning. This is a cool spot that's directly across from the beach and 5 mins walking from all of the restaurants. This rooms are decent with a balcony looking towards the ocean, but you only get a partial view as the rooms are to the right or to the left. There is construction in the building on the 1st floor, but I didn't mind it being that my room was on the 3rd floor. Underground parking is $15 and the security deposit for the room is $100. The bathroom is decent and they definitely could use better towels. Overall, they are now going for a modern look with the renovations but it's more on the IKEA level. Overall, I would definitely stay again if I need a reasonable place to crash that's across from the beach and walking distance to all of the shops.

You really need to replace those mattresses, beds and pillows. The bed was very squeaky and the pillows made my neck/upperback hurt. Was expecting a beach front view when opening the curtain and windows, not someone’s backyard. There shouldn’t be a parking fee if we paid to stay there. It should already be included. I’ve stayed at several hotels and this is the first where I’m charged a separate fee.

It was right across the street from the beach. I booked through booking.com for dates 12/4-12-6. Booked it for a get away for my bday to enjoy the beach view on the balcony. On booking.com it said I would have a sea view, I get to the hotel and they said it was partial view. That’s not what booking said on the website. So I had a room with a very little partial view of the beach and full view of construction. Couldn’t even keep my curtains open because the construction workers where working directly across from my room which was very uncomfortable. Also it was very loud where I couldn’t sleep.

Yes, there was construction in the parking lot floor and right next door. I was on the third floor, so it wasn't too bad but it was still noisy. The so-called partial Ocean view was literally partial. It was mostly blocked by the construction next door. It really ruined the aesthetics. Anyway, my stay was nonetheless good. Would I come back? Yes, I would for the price I paid. I just hope by then the construction is over. And in addition to coffee, they should make it available some teas. Not everyone drinks coffee.

The Hotel is being renovated. The parking garage had piles of construction materials (old sprinkler pipes that needed to be thrown away). They do not have the key card security that other hotels do, so anyone who walks into the parking garage just has to push a button to gain access to the guest floors. On the positive side, I reserved an Oceanfront room and truly did get a full front view (rather than an angled side view). The room I was in had an odor too it and needed to be cleaned and aired out. That said, its half the price of the major brand hotels so if you just want a place to sleep near the beach its a good value.

We decided to stay here for our honeymoon due to having pretty solid reviews. But staying here was a complete disaster. For starters the front desk staff person was beyond rude. We had called twice to double check it was okay to have a late check in because we drove from straight from colorado to California after the ceremony. I asked to use the restroom while we were checking in and he let me in their office to use their bathroom because the lobby was under construction, when i say it was the NASTIEST bathroom I've seen in my whole life, like straight out of a horror movie. Then after checking in at 3:30 am, The person at the front desk sent us on a wild goose chase all over the hotel to find the vending machines he swore were there, but didn't actually exist... The emergency exits in the stairwell were just propped wide open so anyone in the alley can walk right in to the hotel staircase, yet they deadbolted the entrance to the lobby on that same floor... So they chose their own saftey over their customers. There was construction going on all day inside and outside of the hotel. They were literally working on the rooms on both sides of us and it was extremely loud. The door to the room was not hung properly so you could see through a gap, straight into the room... Again, this is supposed to be our honeymoon. And to top it all of the parking garage had broken water pipes just pouring onto the cars and made it hard to even unload our bags. This hotel is a freakin NIGHTMARE!
