Left 1 day earlier than the reservation but they refused to reimburse me for the last day saying because it was booked through a third party they refused to reimburse me.

The property looked nice and in a nice area The ac unit was set at 60;by the staff but the room was like 78-80 meaning the ac unit wasn’t working properly. The both beds were horrible meaning the mattresses were completely shot and very lumpy with a pad to attempt to make them better. No chance they are trash. Now upon check in they asked for a $100 security or damage deposit. I only had 75.oo cash and they accepted that instead of a CC. I received a written receipt showing $75.00. Upon check out I only received back $55.00 the morning clerk ripped me off. He was dressed like a homeless person and handed my money folded up. I should have counted it there but who would have thought a clerk would steal. I stay at a lot of best western plus hotels but this was like a bad motel 6.

Paper thin walls led to us listening to a couple threaten to hit each other until 3 in the morning. We almost had to call the cops. Hotel staff wasn’t much help but tried. We left our reservation one night early as the hotel was sold out because of a race so they couldn’t move our room. I messaged the hotel through the hotels.com app and they never got back to me so either they didn’t care or they don’t check their messages through the app. Disappointing stay. Don’t stay in hotels in this area during a race weekend unless you want to deal with some very colorful characters.

The rooms are dark. Bathroom is small and the drain in the shower was clogged.

The power outlets didn’t work on one side of room, the side with the alarm clock (and time). (And it’s still confusing about getting charged a pet fee twice, we have 2 cats, but does that mean they have to clean twice?)

They hotel staff was amazing property was very clean. The breakfast was tasty I recommend the hotel. When traveling you want to feel close to home as possible and this is the place. Thanks

It was okay. The breakfast time was short little 6-9 is short window. It was supposed to be smoke free,but was not someone o the 2nd floor was smoking not only cigarettes but also manjura. Have asthma that's smoke came into my room. On Sunday my room was not cleaned not even the remover of trash. This was supposed to be 3-4 star facility.

Everything was average. Nothing special, but they provided breakfast and everything was clean. Good enough for a solo work trip!

The hotel is dated but clean. We were traveling and really arrived, slept and left early. It met our expectations for the price and our needs.

The need to stop saying "Breakfast is Included" it is not breakfast. We have stayed here a few times in the past months. The staff are just "matter of fact " we get the king size room with a bath always, because my wife likes to take a bath. There was a chair missing in the corner of the room, so it looked very bare and when we returded that evening and went to bed the fridge fan was making a horrible sound. We let the lady know in the morning and she just said "OK". That was it. Breakfast is not palatable. Eggs are discusting. Sasauge is discusting and if you want coffee there is a machine that squirts hot water in your cup and right at the end shoots some brown, burn horrible liquid in to the top of the cup. Please, Please, Please just put a pot of drip coffee out. As soon as you walk in the entrance of the foyer there is a green couch that is so worn it looks like it came from a dumpster and the two chairs either side look the same. Would take very little effort to make this place a little more pleasant to stay.

It was very welcoming to pets!!!! It stunk like dog piss. The parking lot was clean.

The facility needed an upgrade.

Front desk staff were so nice and friendly. My room was clean and fresh smelling, and so was the bathroom. Nice, comfortable bed. I only have one suggestion, that you add a handrail in shower. I visit this area often so I will stay again.

No manager on duty. Girl came & made breakfast & left. Whatever was put out was what we got. Both mornings they ran out of food. We had a big group of family that literally came from all over. We got kicked out of the lobby at 10pm

The breakfast area was disgusting. There was absolutely NO hot water in the room. The woman working the desk today when I called about my incidentals charge was rude and refused to look it up on the computer.

Location Not clean. Lobby and elevator smelled like marijuana. The mattress literally was flat on the right side. I’d say broken down to less than 1/4 of the left half’s thickness. Old mattress stayed in the second floor corridor all week. And someone left a floater waiting for me in the toilet when I arrived.

It was ok. Waffles were good sausage was good.eggs needed some work. Location was outstanding juice and coffee great. Toilet seat in room 104 was a total disaster. Someone could have been hurt. It was totally coming off. Cannot believe someone did not report it before or maids did not notice in routine cleaning. Also plugs on lamps did not work and lamp on left side of bed did not work. I did inform front desk

My overall stay was good - the room was clean and presentable. The breakfast was so-so. The menu was good, but the actual food like the scrambled eggs were lukewarm. The sausage gravy was watery, not thick at all. The juice machine would not dispense juice; it kept spitting out water. I did not have any waffles, but I overheard another hotel guest complain that the waffle mix was watery too. Also, I wanted to check in early because I was going to an event that was fancy cocktail attire. I had to pay upfront and in cash $40.00 for an early check-in, but it took 3 tries for 3 different rooms before my key card would work on the 3rd room. I did send a message online asking if I could check in early but did not get a response to my message. Had I received an answer, maybe I would have been told about the fee ahead of time and would have already been prepared to pay the fee. A note on the website about the early check-in fee would have been appreciated.

The good reviews that I saw on this hotel were spot on. This is a really clean cozy and comfort hotel. Rooms are pretty modern some of the furniture is a little dated but those things are easily upgradable. It was a good and affordable pric; I got my money's worth.

The room was clean. However, both the bathroom and closet doors were missing a number of screws in the hinges. And the closet door would not close completely. And the breakfast needed work. The food was just lying in the pans of grease. They needed something (a screen) to keep the food from absorbing all the grease.

Front desk staff was great Dead bugs in my room including a cockroach! It was the last accessible room so the one they moved us to didn’t work for our needs. Hotel didn’t offer compensation or anything to make it right

Overall great stay. My only knock is that the only available parking is around back with ZERO lighting. Serious safety concern here. Also, i ventured out around midnight and returned shortly after to find I didn't need my key to gain access to the building. Oh and my sink stopper was stuck in the closed position.

The property was OK, but the toilet paper ran out while we were there and there was no extra. There was no tissues skimpy on towels. Expedia was our biggest problem because it never went through to the hotel but it went through my bank account and they couldn’t pull it up so we ended up paying for it again and I’m expected to get a return on my Expedia, which is not there of course

Room was a little tired but was clean, beds were comfortable and we had no issues. Breakfast was good. Eggs, Belgium waffles, biscuits and gravy, sausage patties, bacon, yoghurts, juice, toast, bagels, English muffins, fruit and cereal and coffee. It was a solid reliable breakfast. No complaints. Would stay again as a quick stop on longer journey. We stayed in room 125 on the left side of the property.

Property is run down. Hotel listing had included room safes for valuables, but, that is not correct. There are no safes for your valuables in rooms. Hotel felt unsafe due to poor condition & lack of safes in room.

I reserved two rooms at this hotel for my family, and I have to say I'm sorry that we stayed here. The furniture in the lobby is old and worn out and needs badly replaced. One room has that smell you smell when your dog needs a bath. The other room had a large bug in it running on the carpet that my family killed. There is no soap dish in the bathrooms to hold the bar of soap, the tub stopper isn't connected to the bathtub as it should be. One room didn't even have a phone to call the front desk with. This is a very, very basic place and not as nice as most other places that I've stayed during my lifetime. The reason that I chose this place was mainly due to price, but the old saying of "you get what you pay for" definitely applies here. The pool is empty and when I asked the desk clerk why it's not in service, I was told they are trying to get it working, but no end in site as of now. I won't stay here again, and I wouldn't recommend it to others.

We stayed on the 3rd floor. The ice machine in the hall ran loudly ALL NIGHT long. The lobby was dingy and could use a really good clean. The carpet throughout was old and smelly. I didn't expect much staying at a Best Western, even one being advertised as a Best Western Plus, but this so far below standards to be extremely disappointing.

My room was okay…I was very disappointed in the continental breakfast. It probably would have been nice if the food was replaced as it went down. They stop at 9am. I went at 8:15 am and no eggs or sausage, waffle mix out and no coffee. I waited 20 minutes in a cup of coffee. And the breakfast area was not clean…food everywhere. I’m used to someone at the continental breakfast area looking after it and wiping down things as people make a mess but there was not anyone there managing it.

I am sorry for such a bad resonse, but we decided that we will never stay in a Best Western again.

I had great Hopes for this Hotel, but I’ll not choose it anymore!

I feel like being able to shower and clean oneself is a fundamental part of staying at a hotel. The way they stock shampoo/conditioner is outdated - tiny bottles, about the size of a thumb, with only a little liquid inside. This does not work for anyone that does not have super short hair. Would recommend updating their showers to the same status as other hotels, with mounted shampoo/conditioner/soap full-size bottles with pumps, so people can get as much or little as they need. This will save the customers and front desk a ton of headache, as well as reduce needless waste of so many useless tiny bottles.

The breakfast was a huge disappointment! Coffee maker was broken, juice machine didn’t work properly, no hot water for tea, waffle maker wasn’t working properly…and the bread and bagels had been left out overnight! Washer and dryers were not working properly! A very very bad experience… complaining did absolutely nothing! Would never recommend this place 😫

Good location to venue at Rural Hill. Quiet stay. Breakfast had several options but because of staffing issues it is not kept stocked. Seems like food, plates and utensils are stocked once when items are put out and not refilled even when they continue to have patrons that want to eat. If a convenience that you offer with a patrons stay is breakfast then it should be stocked during breakfast hours.

They said they dont have my reservation and they dont have any rooms. Lady was very rude

Stopped here on my way home from Florida. Read reviews which seemed ok. But in reality, it was horrible. The place smelled like food. Luckily the window opened but the smell still lingered all night. The bed was extremely lumpy. We glanced at the free breakfast - I tried opening the fridge to get a yogurt and it was locked and the juice machine did not work. I get the impression some people live at the hotel as well. I am regretting stopping and wasting the time trying to get some sleep instead of driving through the night.

The mattress in the room wad terrible. Internet was terribly slow, could'nt almost not connected on my laptop. For sure we wont come back

Unfortunately the property has changed their pet policy tripling the cost to stay with a pet. After staying here at least 8 times I will look at somewhere else going forward

The electric in the room was horrible. I unplugged my laptop from the wall and the lights on the opposite wall stopped working. I hit the wall and they came back on. Neither the thermostat or heat/ac worked because there was no electricity to them The walls are paper thin.

Couldn't recommend this properly more. Friendly and helpful staff with great rooms. Breakfast was surprisingly good too.

When I checked in, there was a $120.00 fee added to my room through Expedia for pet cleaning. I was shocked and said I didnt see that when I perused the motel rooms and amenities. I also told them I've never payed more then $50.00 ahead of a stay with a pet at any Best Westerns I stayed at. They agreed to a $50.00 pet fee. When I got to the room I'd driven over 8 hrs, it was 6 pm or so and I had stopped and had gotten a food to eat. I ate then realized the rooms carpeting was filthy. I wouldnt take my shoes off to walk on it. There were no bugs and was I leaving in the morning so I stayed. When I was bringing my stuff up to the room I saw fruit loops on the floor in front of the elevator. The fruit loopes were not cleaned up until around 7am even though there were 2 different front desk clerks in full view of the elevator and breakfst room where the food was served. I decided if they were that lazy I was not eating there. Needless to say I wont be staying there on my return trip home. Never stayed at a Best Western this dirty.

This is a really nice hotel. Everyone there is fantastic. I have stayed here before and i will definitely stay here again.

Avoid this hotel like the plague. Manager Hanil Patel committed to reimbursing for the night due to horrible experience - a month later has not happened. Toilet did not work (told by front desk to use the bathroom in the lobby - that was the solution), moldy unfinished sheetrock by shower, phone did not work to call front desk, plugs did not work to charge phone, elevator had spilled coffee all over floor for about 12 hours (nobody cares), breakfast was a mess (not a single clean table - all the food was out). Horrible experience. Avoid.

Not clean and bathroom is terrible condition

The guy at the front desk (sadly I did not get his name) was super friendly, professional, helpful, kind and courteous. Made me feel like family and I felt quite at home. Lovely stay at this hotel.

Room was clean & comfortable. A/C cold, shower hot my only concern would be the pillows…. One bed had a regular pillow and two very small pillows. The other bed only had three very small pillows. We had to ask the front desk for more, which they gave no problem…. Just seemed odd

Ironing board was there not the iron was missing. One of the 2 queen beds had a sicken 10x10" are in it. Sitting on the bed, I could hear the springs. The bathroom had zero toiletries and I went back down to the front desk to pick up Tony bottles of shampoo, conditioner and a small face bar to shower with. Ice maker, coffee machine, vending machine in the lobby, all had signs of "not working, sorry for the inconvenience". The orange juice dispenser option on the juice machine dispensed water. The only thing the breakfast had going for it was the bread and bagels. Book this hotel if you want to spoil the rest of your trip.

Took an extended period of time just to check in. They raised the price that was agreed upon on the website. Told the front desk I do not want to stay her and not charge me. They agreed and yet still charged me. Would not refund my charge. Horrible experience.

This by far was the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed at! The staff was nonexistent and when you finally found someone they were rude. I asked to be moved to another room since my room was right next to the ice machine and very damn 20 mins people were getting ice because the first floors didn’t work. the clerk had an attitude and said they were booked (I looked online they weren’t) the towel were visibly filthy like you can tell they were used just folded. Asked house keeping for new towels got 2 by the way it was 3 of us. Stains on the boxspring, walls, ceiling , curtains, the door handled has a screw that stabs you every time you open the door. I have pics of everything! I will never go to best western anywhere again!!! The worst experience.

Wasn't happy with fact that they changed the temperature adjustment from the wall unit, to an actual thermostat. Without infoming travelers of the change.

Ive stayed here several times. Typically there is some wear and tear and minor cleanliness issues so Im used to that. This time the AC/Heat didn't work and the rug was wet for some reason. It was a very late check-in so we put up with it
