Ramada Limited Cockeysville

Once inside, we discovered the electrical outlets on the bed-side of the room were inoperable, as the night stand lamps and alarm clock did not work. When we looked, the outlets were blackened and sooted up, appearing to have been burned some time prior. The carpet was not recently vacuumed and there were two pair of socks, clean, I think, left in the dresser drawer, only one wash cloth and hand towel and hair in the bath tub/shower curtain. On the bright side, the air conditioning worked and we did not have any bed bugs! Yes, by that time, we checked!! If I had not pre-paid online, I would have refused the room, but at 11:30 p.m., on a Friday night, after a day of travel, all we wanted to do was sleep. Despite trying to get some rest, we were "entertained" most of the late night hours by the constant flow of traffic through the hotel. In the morning we realized there must have been some kind of party on premises, as a DJ's van parked directly in front of the front desk entry. What a zoo!! I remember Cockeysville, MD being an upper-middle class area as recent as several years ago. It has apparently become an extension of Baltimore City. NO WAY I WOULD EVER CONSIDER THIS PLACE AGAIN!

Rooms are very outdated, all furniture was damaged to some extent, pool broken and unavailable, room had a stink of marijuana and was a none smoking room, entry stairs uneven and in bad state of repair, walls were filthy, bathroom was atrocious

The services is excellent, The lady in charge of the property is a wonderful, very kind person who was always concerned with ensuring we were well taken care of. I will definitely rent here again; they are very kind.

Front desk person did not provide any information and placed my reservation on a new Wyndham account instead of the account that I had a card for. Only one towel in the room for two guests and no bath mat. No breakfast as advertised. Homeless individuals in the stairwells.

The rooms were clean and decent for the price. I also felt safe in the neighborhood, which made the stay more comfortable. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would stay here again if needed.

the morning of your check-in, as not all rooms have them. Breakfast is continental so was just bagels, muffins, coffee and juice and some corn flakes with milk. They were out of Raisin Bran. The breakfast was as advertised: Continental !

The dried crap on the back of a chair was a disgusting first,ceiling paint and mold looking like it's ready to drip on you,filth stained tub make you want to wash in the sink ,king bed looking like 2 hammocks never again

No microwave, chair was broke, room had a bad odor. I paid for non smoking but I got smoking. Roaches and walls were dirty. Bathroom was dirty too. Customer service was trash.

My stay at this hotel was excellent. The best part was that I went out shopping, and the staff came in to replace my bathroom towels—yet nothing went missing from my luggage, even though they entered the room while I wasn't there.

This is a worst motel I have ever stayed in. The room was nothing like this one on photo. It was dirty, smelly.. Broken door, strange spots on the wall and ceiling, broken light switches, stinky carpet and huge mold spots all over the bathroom ceiling. The hair fan and steam iron were missing, the coffee maker was missing a pot, the safe did not work. Furniture is from 1980-s. have not been repaired since. Dust everywhere, sticky spots on the table. They did gove me another room, it was not that bad, but stank anyway. the "continental breakfest" was a few dry supermarket bagels and muffins, a gallon of milk and a gallon of orange juice. No tea, no coffee. nothing.

The place is in significant disrepair. Some of the rooms meet expectations and some do not.

The sheets and towels were dirty and stained, roach infested, floor not vacuumed. Just fire the cleaning staff.

TV did not work. Toilet paper on tank. No Kleenex, Something scratching on mattress cover sheet was an embedded toe nail. Around midnight, party and loud music next door, nothing done. Stay at hotels upwards of 100 days a year and this had to be the worst place I have ever spent a night. I should have eaten the loss and gone elsewhere but it was too late. Will never spend another night ever in a Ramada Inn.

Pictures need to be updated because once you get there noting reflects the poor condition hotel is. Room and bathroom old and dirty . BReakfast is laughable, 3 bagels on display and a mini cup for coffee with one selection of cream. Would not recommend to anyone

The water in the tub ran constantly, the faucet in the sink leaked all over the counter , and this place is old, in disrepair and could use some TLC. Sorry to say, I don't think I'll stay here anymore, each time I do, the room I get is of a little less quality. Not pleased.

This hotel does not deserve to be with Ramada. Poor overall condition and certainly not worth $100 a night. Questionable safety in the parking lot as a lot of non guests hang out. The toilet paper roll dispenser was mounted 6" from the floor at my feet. The breakfast was minimal, low quality preprocessed 7-11 type carbs. Not diabetic friendly at all. Skip it and go next door to Chick-fil-A.

Absolutely horrific property. Pillow cases were dirty, comforters had holes, refrigerator had mold in it, microwave was dirty, vents were dirty and debris from vents was on the towels, carpet hasnt been shampooed in YEARS, the lamp shades were dirty and had dead bugs, paint was peeling, there was no shower switch so the bathtub filled up and overflowed if you ran the water, there was literally 9 things plugged into 1 outlet (there was obviously an electrical fire before from this), the safe in the room was obviously broken into prior, they advertised free breakfast but absolutely nothing was available. I asked several times to switch rooms but they claimed there were no rooms available (lies). The staff was over the top nice but this property needs to be burned down to the ground and rebuilt/start over. No remodel can save this place. The only potential saving grace is everything was close by - Chik Fil-A, WaWa, Steakhouses, Target, Wendys, Chilis, etc were within walking distance or a 1-3 minute drive.

Horrible staff, dirty rooms, they locked our room and kept our shoes.

The room smelt real bad first, they gave me the wrong room. The room had mildew on the shower curtain. It had ragged stuck in the wall for rodents. It didn’t look like nothing on the picture. It was a very bad experience.

Everything was good with the exception of needing staff to let me in because the door key card did not work.

It was a meager amount of discomfort but the affordability and the friendly staff was infectious. Plus free parking in that area close to Ihop being practically across the street was a plus for me. 😆

I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times. Its pretty old and little crinkled - but the rooms are clean and the staff is nice. Perfect area. And at a really reasonable price.

It was filthy, had roaches, and the bathroom was dirty. Someone attempted to enter my room at 6am and I felt very unsafe. I will never stay at this place ever again.

The motel is old and run down, but the room was clean and everything worked properly. The buffet was minimal and poorly stocked. The cost of the room reflects the quality of the motel. It was fine for a 2 star rating.

The staff was super nice. Very helpful. The room however was disgusting. Pretty much walked into an ashtray. The floor had visible dirt and debris from other tenants. Every piece of bedding was stained. Comforter had cigarette burns all over it. Bathroom leaked from above. Still had painters tape all around the ceiling. Water bugs in the shower. So many things wrong with the room. I didn’t shower or even stay the morning for breakfast. Again. Staff was awesome. Room condition was disrespectful.

after a very slow, long wait for service at what appeared to be a Bank drive in window, about 2" thick someone finally came out of the residence area and signed me in which seemed to take much longer than usual. I was given very poor directions to my room, not clear, no map, no diagram

Paid for a smoking room, was told they don’t have smoking rooms when I stayed there plenty of times. Paid for a king size beds they gave me twin size double beds with barely any ac working. And the key to the room didn’t work so I couldn’t leave without the manager opening the door. Horrible experience

The interior of the room was clean but the exterior stairwell was dark (lights out) and smelled and looked like homeless people had been living there. The walkways and stairwells need to be pressure washed and deodorized. Plumbing in the rooms need attention as drains drained slowly.

Doors lock dont work, chewing gum on carpet, bathroom sticks, no bathrooms products, no microwave, no fridge, no towels. Family ppl stay away, this motel is more like couples/workers come for night stnad. Had worse than worse experience with my family here. Never coming back

Place needs a lot of upkeep. Our room had bed cover with cigarette burns. Only on set of towels. I asked for a second set which never appeared. No soap in bathroom. There was a continuos sound of running water in bath room. Door dificult to open and close. Abandoned car parked in front of our room.

The room was nice and spacious and the jacuzzi tub was the cherry on top! It’s also super close to everything! You can literally walk from your room to the chic fil a! There’s plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from.

So much outdoor noise at night and the bathroom needs some serious attention.

After I Checked In He Gave Me One Key in Which I Reserved 2 Rooms. The Motel Rooms Are Full Of Mold And Very Very Outdated. The Room Smell Of Smoke And Lord Knows All The Burn Holes In The Comforter. Never Again

I booked a Suite once I got there I was told all of them were smoking rooms which was not as described on the site. They did put me in a nonsmoking room but said they could do nothing about the difference in price. The room I stayed in was considerably cheaper than the one I booked.

The room in the Picture showed a jacuzzi which of course was not there. The building and rooms clearly haven't been updated or deep cleaned in years.

This place was in pretty bad shape. The bathtub had cigarette burns(we didn't ask for smoking) the curtain had blood on it. The sheets were torn and the blanket had holes in it. the bathroom door was also broken and pieces were laying on the floor.

Extremely dirty Hotel electric outlets falling off the wall smoke detectors covered up in plastic because the previous occupants were smoking in the room black mode in the bathroom sheets dirty floor is dirty. This is an extremely dirty dangerous. Hotel would not recommend unless you were homeless.

It was great. Just wish they would let adults with no children to have access to the pool whenever we want. Other than that, no complaints.

Electricity kept going out

I told the check in guy not to give me a smoked room but the room still smelled like smoke. The AC was super loud, very hard to sleep at night. If you turned it off, it was too hot.

This is the best place for a cheap stay it’s not a high end place but it works for the night

We only booked the room to use the shower,(we had plumbing issues at home) the tub had burn marks all over it. I booked through a 3rd party and was charged again by the hotel. I've been trying to get a refund, it's taken 5 days and still nothing. I'll be disputing the charge with my credit card company now. I would AVOID this hotel.

When I got there it was unexpected to not be able to obtain a room key was instructed everytime I wanted to leave the room I had to go to front desk to get them to physically let me into the room and also the tv did not work it had sound but no picture rather you hit the volume button channel button source button nothing worked just sound on a blank screen but the room air conditioner got cold which was a plus so not all bad it was decent for the price

Old dirty

The tub in my room was really beaten up. The surface was very rough and chipped. I'm sure it was clean but I just didn't want to use it. The whole room was very clean and otherwise comfortable. It was obviously well attended too.

I’m 69 and the 2nd worse dump I’ve ever been to other than one in Orlando, Florida. I do a lot of traveling and this was embarrassing from not understanding English, room service for towels was invisible, overpriced obviously since it was awful and dated

This Ramada is right on York road so a little noisely from traffic but it was clean and comfortable with a frig and microwave included.

The hotel was very dirty and had a lot things wrong with it. There was leaks, broken things, water in the bottom of the tub, there was no internet, and no breakfast. This place was horrible. I am now sick from being in this horrible place

This motel should be condemned. There are literal holes in the walls, roaches and a ton of dust in the room. The security latch was broken, and I swear I saw a bullet hole in the wall by the door. There are abandoned cars in the parking lot and people hanging outside of the rooms like they live there.

Definitely the worst motel ive stayed at in the area. Door lock on 1st room was broken. Black mold and hair in the bathroom of the 2nd room. Carpet was absolutely filthy. The rooms look NOTHING like the photos in their listing. I took plenty of photos but app does not let me upload them.

I was not completely satisfied with the room they assigned me; they changed it upon request no questions asked.

Upon arrival, someone had shorts and underwear left on the dresser, I threw them away. The washcloths looked dingy so I went to the store and purchased a few to use. The HVAC system started smelling like it was burning in the middle of the night so at that point I left and stayed with a friend.

While the room was a 'smoking' room, it shouldn't have smelled like a 20 year old unwashed ashtray. It was barely breathable, even by someone who is a life-time smoker. The quilts, sheets, pillow cases all had cigarette burn holes in them. It was so bad, even the bathtub had cigarette burns on the rim. The walls were filthy and had holes in them. Room Service only came to us on the last day of our 3 day stay to ask if we were checking out. They did not clean the room at all during our stay, not that it would have made much difference in the state of the room itself. This was one of the worst, filthiest stays I've ever had and I will not be booking with this hotel ever again.

The TVs won't hook to the internet had limited local TV service and the keys cards would only work once and then I have to have them reprogrammed and I stayed in a Holiday inn a half mile up the street for the two nights part of this and the price wasn't that drafted but the outcome was more exceeding the price I think so the difference at this particular location but I survived thank you

There was a glue trap in my room which is never a good sign, traffic noise as well as loud guests and the room smelled like smoke with a dash of urine.

Overall the property and stay were great. Good value for what you get. Very clean and the staff was nice. The breakfast was advertised as “executive” continental but was just a couple of cold options and no proteins but we aren’t big breakfast people so we didn’t mind. Conveniently located close to expressways and nearby attractions. Parking a little small but almost always had a spot near our room. Traffic can be loud if you’re a light sleeper. Gas station and convenience stores directly across the street for an easy walk to late night snacks. Only 20 minutes away from a nice state park and beach on the bay. Many nice restaurants nearby as well. 30 min drive from airport car rental facility so it was convenient but out of the main city traffic. Would definitely stay here again in the future!

There were stains on my tub and the sheets. There was a mouse in my room. I asked to change your rooms read the reviews and people said they have roaches. I asked them to do something about the mouse. They gave me a sticky pad

I had a terrible experience at this motel. The staff were incredibly unhelpful and unprofessional. The room was in a deplorable state with bugs, stains, and an overall lack of cleanliness. Outside, there was a concerning level of criminal activity and a constant presence of random people loitering around. To make matters worse, there were individuals openly smoking marijuana in the vicinity. I would strongly advise against staying here. It was a distressing and uncomfortable experience from start to finish.

Jacuzzi tub had hot and cold knobs broken off and old rose pedals stuck in the drain. Without being able to use it the room was pointless and just became claustrophobic

This was terrible, we did not even stay. The room we were offered was a smoking room, and then when we attempted to switch to a non-smoking room that room smelled like it was a smoking room that had been smothered in cologne and Febreeze. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Very unsafe and not clean at check in

The room was clean and the guy working the front desk was good. We had a couple of small issues and he came right out to fix them. Only real complaint. No cable tv just regular stations. Very basic very old.
