Very pleasantly surprised. The room was very clean and comfortable. You could tell the owner spent a lot of money in updating the rooms. The staff was very friendly and inreally enjoyed the garden. Very clean and well maintained. It was nice to see. I will definitely stay there again and will also recommend it to my friends. My flight landed early and my departing flight was leaving late. They alkwed me to check in an hour early and check out half an hour late. Thank you. Great job! Premium channels or a Access to Netflix would have been nice. Room 121 needs the shower drain repaired.

no breakfast served. bad coffee when checked at hotel, staff charged me for the room since I already paid to Bookong.com. I had to pull the receipt from email to prove it, then he canceled the charge to my Discover card. Later I was able to check my discover card's activities, said pending. Hopefully the cancelation will go thru

The location of the hotel is good. The room had two queen beds which were OK. The hotel said free breakfast. We only saw the below set of options during our visit. Apples, Bananas, cinnaman sugar bread and Muffins.

There were several positives about the property. It was not a huge property. It was one level. It was down the street from family. It was close to food and other stores. Our tv went out on our second night. The next morning management was there right away and swapped it out while we were running around. Also you couldn’t hear any other guests. The room was large and clean. Management was friendly and attentive. The only thing we didn’t like was the bed was not comfortable in our opinion. It was a king size bed but to us it was too firm.

Picturesque look. Nice and helpful staff. Good maintenance and Housekeeping. Good breakfast food. Price is fair. Parking is easy. Weather was hot. Entrance is hard to find from main street.

AC blows cold which is everything to me , the room will get super cold , also you can get hot water in the shower most hotels it’s Luke warm at best , here you get steam baby , not much pressure but steam , bed is ok , in the office you can get ices for free all day

It’s say it has breakfast included which was a deciding factor in choosing it along with price . There is. I breakfast it just coffee some juice boxes and honeybuns . That is not breakfast . Pretty disappointed

I was pleasantly surprised with the room. It was clean. Could’ve had more towels available but didn’t have any problems getting more when requested. Customer service was excellent. Needed a late checkout and was granted with no questions asked. This was a last minute hotel reservation for hurricane Ida evacuation but I would definitely stay here again

Spa room was great. The big spa was better than the 2 person ❤ heart spa that they remodeled with. Brand new fridge didnt work, wasnt replaced till morning. They only gave me an hour extra time. Been going there for years and there really isnt any customer appreciation.

Is enjoyable staying at the Scottish Inn due to back the staff was professional and personable. It was a relaxed environment oh, quiet, which is all we can really ask for. And was provided by the staff at the Scottish Inn.

False advertisement i wanted a room with a Jacuzzi and they charge more for that but they dont tell you that in their advertising room look nothing like they do in they photos

The hotel room smelt a bit weird. There was a dead cockroach at the door. WiFi kept getting disconnected. Maybe if the cockroach wasn't there, I'd have changed my rating a bit.

The workers were rude. They over charged my card which I didn’t discover in till I was back home. I didn’t get any discount for booking thru Expedia. They actually charged me double what was listed on my paperwork from Expedia.

Stayed there the night before my wife had an 8am dentist appointment and it was an all day affair. The hotel let me stay a little longer than the checkout time so I wouldn't have to sit in the dentist office as long.

The hotel was very clean. The woman who checked us in was not very friendly. Our hotel room did not have any shampoo or conditioner. It did not have a coffee maker in our room. Overall though since the room was very clean and good condition, it was worth what we paid for a night's stay.

This is the second time we have stayed here. They were very kind and customer oriented. I highly recommend this hotel for any one looking to stay in a hotel in the sugarland area.

The manager /owner was borderline rude. The room had been recently painted and there was paint everywhere. The carpet was stained, my sheets were stained, the towels are not soft and too small to go around my body, which isn't large. I won't stay here again.

This is a quiet hotel it's behind the car lot and waffle house. Location is strange but the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, but the room was to dark and needs light pink coloring not dark on the walls.

After checking in, I looked over the room and it was hardly cleaned. I then requested for towels from the front desk and I was told "you can't get towels today, wait until tomorrow". The Wifi was as slow as dial up internet. The worst experience that I have ever had! I will never go there again.

No blanket on bed. Towels rough and old. Couldn't find my Expedia reservation, had to prove it and the fee by my itenerary.

There are black lights above the beds. The sheets were dirty with makeup smeared on them. Asked for new sheets and those were so dingy and not clean either. Front desk told me the stains showed bc of the black lights like he was justifying the dirty stained sheets...I am still wondering WHY the black lights in the rooms in the first place. It felt like a room you would take a hooker to if you want honesty. Rented it because reviews said clean and would come back again. Also found a joint in the corner of the room by the tv which was the least of the gross situation. Clearly the room was not cleaned well at all. If it had not been the night before thanksgiving we would have tried to go elsewhere.

Having paid similar prices around other parts of Texas, we were impressed by hotel, nice simple parking, good size rooms, nice comfy beds, ample equipment (TV, Fridge, DVD player, A/C, Hairdryer) and good shower facilities. Some hotels have had weak dribble showers, Scottish suites here has a great shower. The only gripe would be that its is tricky to find the first time, as its hidden off the main Highway 6 by other business's, but once found its a nice place to stay :)

This was my second stay at this motel. It is very clean and staff was friendly!

Expedia should not associate itself with this hotel, I went there on your reputation but was very disappointed..

I cancelled my reservation one hour after making it because our plans fell through...but they charged me for the room anyway!! I begged and pleaded but was told there is nothing they can do! I was literally robbed!

pillows were terrible, bed OK, bathroom OK, not bad for price
