The room was cleanish. The tub had a permanent liner sticking on w some debris under the edges. Bad caulking job on tub and elsewhere . 2-3 fully cracked tiles in bathroom. In a not real nice part of town but they have a gate and security. No breakfast. The pool was closed. I reserved 2 queens, I arrived and they did not have 2queens available. The staff was helpful and nice. I believe some ppl have been going there for years and it is cost effective short term housing. I would stay if I had to. Honestly when I walked in, a lady with an abdominal binder and unbuttoned shirt was coming in showing her abdomen and binder— making it seem really ghetto. I couldn’t wait to come home. Nice frig n kitchenette set up.

I killed 2 roaches and a spider. We had to beg for towels, the only way you could get more towels was to turn the other ones in. The building smelled old and stale. Other than that it was in a convenient location to get to the Medical Center.

When we checked in, we were not informed of a Security deposit requirement was just deducted from my account. The was too firm and uncomfortable, I couldn't sleep, had to sleep on the couch. The TV remote had no cover for the battery and it didn't work very well, we gave the front desk and informed them the problem and when we came back from our appointments the other clerk said there was nothing there and no note was left about it. Told us to check if they had taken it up to our room and if not to call and let them know. Well, no remote and dead phone is all we had, had to unplug the TV to shut it off. Even if we complain, this world is full of uncaring people and take no pride in themselves and their job. All they want is the money.

Nothing I stayed at this hotel Booking number 6504945553, last night April 24, 2025 on 3rd floor and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The property looks nothing like the photos shown online, which was misleading from the start. The room itself felt poorly maintained, and the restroom was especially concerning the tub had visible mildew and rust, making it feel unclean and uncomfortable to use. To make matters worse, there were bugs in the room, which is completely unacceptable for any hotel stay. Overall, the lack of cleanliness and the difference between the advertised images and reality made this a very unpleasant visit. I would not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made. Therefore, I am asking for a full refund.

Stayed here because of location, shuttle bus, and "soundproof" rooms. Shuttle bus doesn't run on weekends, screaming child next door / load noises in the hallways at night hardly muffled by the walls / doors, toilet backed up and staff had no way to fix it (no plunger) as they only had one they couldn't find, light dimmed when AC struggled to turn on. Hide-a-bed wouldn't lie flat and was very squeaky with minimal movements. You couldn't pay me to sleep there again.

Not a good location, no resturants close, staff was not real friendly for a business that should accommodate to customers, bed was soft, sheets were thin, and you rolled to the middle. They did provide pots pans and utensils in the room was a good size. We had stayed there before and they served breakfast, that was one reason we stayed this time, but they no longer have breakfast.

Nothing, they tried to double charge me for our stay and argued with me about it so I had to call my bank and file a fraud claim. Then they had to move our boys from the room they were initially put in because the door battery went out and wouldn’t open. Our boys got locked out and it took three hours for them to fix it and put our day behind so we had to change our itinerary for that day.

Staff was nice and helpful. No one ever yet begrudged us towels, wash cloths or toilet paper. Parking was easy, free, fenced in and seemed safe. Saw a patrolman in the building, which was comforting. Laundry room was clean, and the little gym was a nice plus. You can work out while you do laundry LOL. There was nearly always coffee in the lobby, but a personal pot in the room as well. I loved the kitchenette. This saved us a ton of money! Bathrooms are huge with lots of sturdy grab bars. This was our second stay, and since it's close to MD Anderson, it worked out perfect for us. Beds were comfortable. An extra light would be nice. The TV worked just fine, but the DVD player lacked a remote. That was disappointing. We need to come back in March for further treatment and tried to book an extended stay, but unfortunately they're already sold out. I wasn't excited about the occasional roach. However, I know Houston has a huge problem with roaches. As long as none of them hitches a ride home with us I'll deal with it! LOL. The overall experience in this little hotel is really great for people undergoing cancer treatment on a small budget and a huge will to live and be happy!

Stuff on the floor indicating it hadn't been cleaned real good since the last person and the kitchen wasn't clean. Under construction.

Stayed 3 weeks. Had to change rooms two times. The elevator broke three days before our departure and remained inoperable. It was a pain to carry our belongings down the stairs when checking out. We had a lot of stuff. My mom was there for MD Anderson and has health problems that made it very difficult to climb the stairs. There were some positives: nice and attentive staff, comfortable beds, security guard in the parking lot, easy parking, close proximity to MD Anderson, and good value. It was the cheapest hotel we could find within a few miles of the hospital that would not break the bank for a 3 week stay. One other thing: this hotel does not have a breakfast.

The parking was great and free! I like that it had an outdoor balcony area. The little kitchenette came in handy. I didn’t like the configuration of the room because the TV did not face the beds. The image on the TV screen was very blurry. The pool is quite small but swimming is not important to me during this stay. Overall, I really enjoyed this facility especially because it is very close to MD Anderson.

While it was fine for an overnight stay. I wouldn’t recommend it. It smell you can’t quite figure out what of. The room smells and the bathroom and closet smell heavily of cigarettes. So much I didn’t want to put my clothes in there for fear of smell transfer. The doors including room door don’t feel like they latch. It reminded me of a very DIY project

Everything thing was good except for the shower. When we took showers the bathroom would flood all the way into the the bedroom. I reported it to the front desk and the young man stated that he would let maintenance know. The way the shower is built its gonna flood every time until they redo it. There's nothing stopping water from running out. So, do not let them put you in room 104.

This property is getting worked on. I hope it's to improve it. The shower faucet came off in my hand, and the shower had weird black marks in it. Very much has sketchy motel vibes. I felt like I was bothering the receptionist she had an ear bud in and was on the phone. There were pieces of the bottom base baord they had just glued to the wall popping off. I didn't feel safe leaving my room without my partner with me, when I did it was a very fast no detours to look around.

I arrived at 4:06 and there was a LINE out the door to check-in and it was hot that day. The room itself had tape on the door for the room numbers, the couch was old and smelled, the bed comforter looked like something out of 1920. The AC vents could not be adjusted so when you close the curtain at night, it went straight to the curtain. The microwave had what looked like mold in it that would not move when scrubbed. There were absolutely no amenities in the restroom as is the norm with most hotels, only soap. And there was no shower gel, just shampoo and conditioner. The television is so far away from the bed that I had to adjust the volume in order to hear it AND completely move the dresser in order to swivel the television for viewing, which probably disturbed other patrons so I could not watch television. The bed is also DIRECTLY next to the door in a bad position. The refrigerator door was filthy and took 4 cleanings with Clorox to remove the dirt from the handle. It did have a kitchenette however. This would never be my choice again.

They were in the process of renovating but it was done quietly, if I hadn’t seen the tools I really wouldn’t have known it was going on. We did not get the type of room we booked or the price given on Expedia. The security latch was inefficient. The room was quite warm which we discovered the next day that it was due to a window being stuck partially open above the unit. The hotel had a moldy/musty smell and the floor in the bathroom was soft.

Staff is great, helpfull, shuttle driver is also very nice, location is great for md anderson patients with shuttle service to hospital. Beds are comfy, great little kitchen but we found 2 roaches in our room. Hotel is under construction on all floors. There is alot of homeless around and every night we got back, we were approached by one asking for money.

The entire property was a construction zone. The entrance was blocked off by rubble and piles of tile and dirt. The staff called me while I was traveling to Houston ( only a couple hours before my check in time ) to say there was no elevator available and no rooms on the first floor. When I arrived and communicated my displeasure at the notification of the conditions I was told “ you can just cancel your reservation and go somewhere else” after traveling all day and being told that it was extremely upsetting and frustrating.

Expedia Comments: The hotel would not allow me to cancel the second night because I booked through Expedia. If I had booked through them they would have allowed me to cancel the second night and refund payments made for the second night.

My husband and I really enjoy staying at this hotel. Yes it’s a little old and the rooms are a little outdated but the cleanliness and customer service makes it all worth it. Not to mention having the shuttle available to take us to the hospital for my husband’s appointments.

I can not rate my stay as I tried to cancel well before check in and I did pay for the insurance so that if I did have to cancel I would get my money back. However, I was told no refund.

The people were great but the building is falling apart. Floor was peeling up in sections, the shower curtain torn, and a definite feeling the foundations had shifted. The area was kinda sketchy too. The shuttle is run by a guy who has his own vehicle but after 7pm was a dice roll..overall can't recommend if you are already nervous about a hospital trip but frugal people might be okay. BTW no grocery stores nearby either so either plan on a cheat day/week or explore more than I did but you are in a sketchy little area so be careful

The property was average to above average. The part of town was less than preferable because there were degraded or unsafe surroundings with vagrants hanging around, and no decent restaurants close by.

Upon arrival and check in the hotel clerk asked for my debt card and then he charged me $100.00 deposit . I asked why he told me incase you damage your room . I told him that I had paid for insurance . He replied oh well . When I checked out I ask for my $100.00 dollars . The clerk said it would be 3-5 days . It has been 10 days and still no refund yet

The utensils provided for cooking and eating in the room, were 1 spoon, 1 knife, 2 forks, 1 pot and 2 dishes. The doors to the bedroom and the adjoining room would not completely close. The rooms should have been checked better when cleaning, there was a dirty sock on the floor of the closet and we saw a roach walking across the floor.
