    The stay was fine, we go every 21 days for medical treatments, however I was billed twice. my stay was paid thru booking.com then I was bill by the Marriott as well for the same stay. Now no one will answer me there. I get put on hold for 10 to 15 mins. or accounting never answers and I get a recording that their mailbox is full. NEED Help....

For almost 500 a night, I would have expected a much nicer room. I have stayed in LaQuinta for 120.00 a night and had a much nicer room. The TV didnt work, had to get an engineer to fix it. The door key didnt work, even after we changed the keys..had to get someone to take care of that. It must have been next to the helipad, as we heard helicopters landing. All in all, disappointed in the room we were assigned. I was there for surgery, and there were no more surgical discount rooms available. Disappointing.

    Location is great. We did not have breakfast. At check-in, I was told the only room available was one with 2 beds and a bathtub. I said that was NOT what I booked and said that I wanted the King bed with a shower as booked, which I got immediately upon expressing my feelings. I resented being told the only thing available was a room with 2 beds and a bathtub!! That should NOT have happened.

    We were there for my wife’s annual cardiology check up. We ran into a problem that resulted in her hospitalization and an unplanned extension. I contacted the staff and they were very supportive and proactive in setting an additional stay at reasonable rates.

    The hotel is very well-maintained and our room was clean and comfortable. The valet service for the shuttle was excellent with everyone involved giving special consideration to the passengers, most of whom were in Houston for medical reasons and were being transported to the various hospitals within the area.

    Convenience to the tram Booking.com and this hotels system are not compatible. The hotel charged me again for the entire booking after spending almost an hour trying to check in and took me a week to get the extra charges refunded to my card. Be prepared to pay an extra 200 to 400 dollars for all the extra charges when you check in. The place was nice and food was decent. The gift shop seemed to be closed randomly and hot tub was closed of course. Pool is closed permanently which was a big downer! Staff was very friendly and housekeeping did a great job.

    Old facility; uncomfortable beds and furniture; crispy carpet in room (yuk!); limited onsite dining; noisy area with emergency vehicles coming and going to nearby hospitals, hotel patio area on 4th floor was dirty, not well maintained, and very uninviting. Definitely not worth the per night room rate.

    The staff was above and beyond helpful. The bellman was beyond helpful. The valet had our car in a couple of minutes. Very convenient to the med center. I paid Booking.com and I had to pay the hotel so I paid twice. The front desk check in could not see where I prepaid.

    Room was clean and spotless. When I went to check in the gentleman handling my check in was friendly and very helpful. He was able to accommodate me into a double bed room since we were nurses riding out the winter storm. Conveniently located across the street from the hospital which is a big plus!

    I booked one king about a month before, but somehow none were available and I had to have two queens. There was no hot water, so I could not shower or shave.     The room was clean; however, the handheld washer in the shower was broken, causing the water to spray out of the hose instead of the shower head. The bed was uncomfortable and I slept poorly. My wife ended up sleeping on the sofa chair. The price of the room was barely worth the convenience of the location. (My appointment was across the street. The "Free" wifi cost $15 which we were told would be deducted from the bill after check out only after we inquired. The hotel restaurant was highly recommended; however, the salads we ordered were not at all worth the $17/each price paid. A Great disappointment. The staff was helpful and courteous. Overall, I have stayed at budget hotels with a better price/experience value. I have travelled all over the world and stayed at a vast variety of hotels, B&B's and rentals, and for the price paid here, I couldn't help but feel taken advantage of. I will not be staying here again, though my business will bring me back several times over the next few months.

    Wife and I have been staying here numerous times based on proximity TO MD Anderson Cancer. This one time however, I booked the room through a 3rd party method (Expedia) and was shocked to receive a room which looked like it was waiting to be rebuilt. All wall pictures missing with holes in the walls where they were (incl bathroom), booked a King and got a double, refrigerator did not even cool, television was inop. I now realize when you don't book directly through Marriott, you won't be treated on the same level. Seems they don't make as much $ on the room rate (even though the rate with taxes was $325.00) so you don't get the same quality room. Yes, I demanded and received a different room (gee- just like the one I booked), but it sure felt like I initially received a "discounted" room based on my having booked through Expedia. While we're Marriott Bonvoy members, this seemed awfully shady and NOT a good business practice. Extremely disappointed after having previously stayed here several times while undergoing cancer treatment. All the other benefits of staying in a M Club room were great as usual (especially the M-Club staff) was outstanding. Additionally the shuttle drivers were awesome as usual. Hopefully this was/will be an isolated incident.

    Wife and I have been staying here numerous times based on proximity TO MD Anderson Cancer.     We usually stay at The Rotary House, but couldn't get in. At check-in there were 5 people behind the check-in counter, 3 appeared to not be doing much. The lady who checked us in, was pleasant enough, but not really friendly. The room was clean but not worth over 300.00. The room at The Rotary House you can get a suite for what we paid for this room. The front desk staff are always very friendly, the rooms are bigger for less money. In short, or I guess longer, I expected more. However the restaurant staff, valet, driver to M.D. Anderson and concierge were excellent. They were friendly and extremely helpful with my husband, who is wheelchair bound, and myself.

    I put up a privacy sign on my doorknob…around 10 am I hear a knock and the door open. The housekeeper announced my checkout time was noon. I knew that and thought it was very rude, I felt like I was trying to be rushed out so she could clean the room. Also when I pulled in to park my car a man came up to ask if I wanted to valet or self park. I said self park. He said well I can give you directions where to self park in 10-15 minutes. What ???? My entire stay I felt like an inconvenience to the staff.

    Property rooms are extremely old and have a hospital patient room feel. The gym is outdated and the property in general is not worth the chatge per night. I would not stay here agian. Constantly patients and healthcare workers are all that are around. The pool was out of order when I was there. The carpent stinked and they charge extra for parking since it is only valet parking.
