House Hotel

Could’ve been cleaner as far as dusting goes & my top comforter had holes in it but it was spacious and clean enough for me to feel safe sleeping in the sheets. Bed slept great. Microwave was appreciated. I’d definitely stay there again for the price when in the area

Everything was awesome and the room was great I'm planning another trip and will only stay here.

Perfect stay, right by the essential stores that many people may need to stop by before a big important event and it’s just right there! Love it, bilingual and flexible with my needs. I will be booking again in the future for sure.

Price was ok but not for the risk Bad neighbor, roaches everywhere. I paid for 2 nights and only stayed 1 because of the filth.

A ton of homeless people right outside the hotel. Room wasn't really clean- hair left all in the shower. Had a smell to the hotel as soon as you hit the stairwell.

I booked the hotel for 3 nights, the app took the money and tell me my booking was approved and confirmed.at late night,take uber from the airport to the hotel 45 min and I get there and the said there is no room available. And the guy was very rude at the reception

It was spacious and they allowed me to check in early. My room didn’t have a tub. I booked a smoking room and was given a non smoking room. Doordash dropped my food at the office. The soda machine only takes cash or coins. Its two dollars to wash and dry, plus washer and dryer small. There is no breakfast

Screaming, crying, shouting, beating on the door at 2:00 am that went on for at least 20 minutes uninterrupted. It was both awful and frightening. I expected gun shots at any minute. I would never, ever stay there again. I felt very unsafe.

Everything was great!!

The room and the property did not look like the images on line. My room smelled like marijuana. The cover had cigarette burn. The air didn’t properly work on arrival. The staff was great and came to fix my air quickly. The area is a little sketchy. I was worried about my car but it was okay. I probably would never stay here again but I am thankful for the friendly staff.

The staff was rude and wired the room was very nice but the staff when checking in kept saying not to have more then two people in the room I understood the policy very clear knowing the staff kept saying it. My daughter help me bring my belongings in the room she then left right after helping places my thing in the room me and my husband return to the room with out my daughter the next morning when I enter the office I was told I wasn’t able to continue my stay unless one of the men staff entered the room with only me and him in the room to so call check the room for other people I didn’t feel comfortable with the staff telling me that the only way I can stay so I just decided to cancel my reservation I was also told I would not get my money back I stayed one night under a different reservation

The TV The AC did not cool the room off, it’s was hot and uncomfortable. Two lights were broken and it had a strong odor of cigarettes and the location is a little rough.

I wouldn’t really recommend. The staff are kind of aggressive and unfriendly. The room is also not as advertised; it’s a bit small and the bathroom mirror doesn’t light up. There’s also no hot water by the way. It is clean, however, so if you badly need to stay somewhere go for it just keep in mind you’ll have a cold shower and maybe an odd encounter with staff no matter your normal experience is at hotels. There are cheaper, nicer options so I’d give another look before staying at this hotel. I wish you well!

Modern interiors. Doesn’t look like a chain motel Smoke alarm was on night stand and not in ceiling plugged in , king size bed with only two pillows One of two lamps the bulb was burned out. Small pack of shampoo not enough for two people. Ice machine broken Coke machine broken Room had many repaired holes that weren’t painted.

The room had a stench when we walked in and also someone else’s jacket was still hung up. The walls had stains/markings near the bathroom and the bedding cover had a few burnt holes in it. I honestly just didn’t feel comfortable so we left at 3am and just went back home.

Front desk when I arrived noone but their was a signed return in 5 minutres waited 20 minutes.The fromt door to the Hotel was looking bad peeling and need painting and smelled of cigarettes etc in the surroundings area..Shock, the room is spacious and Clean and bed was comfy. The bathroom and shower was clean no mold.The floor is cold no carpet but concrete tiles just okay..I recommend this hotel just need too paint those doors..

Room was nice and the shower was decent. The bed was comfortable. There are places you can walk to across the street which is nice to get food or to do some shopping overall decent place.

Upon arrival, a $50.00, dollar security demand was made in cash before you are able to receive key for your confirmed reservation...Had to leave and locate ATM, to get cash or would not be allowed entry to room...This is outrageous and insulting...Stayed here before but will never stay there again...

SOON AS I WALKED UP TO THE DOOR!!!! When I first walked up to the door it was so dirty I was hesitant about even touching the door. The covers were paper thin, I was constantly killing gnats and I was itching from something biting me and when I woke up thank god I had no food cause I woke up to roaches and the refrigerator was hot and microwave was just nasty. It was white people hair all over the floor and in the toilet to where I kept flushing the toilet hoping it would flush so I had to stand to just use the bathroom. NEVER WILL I RECOMMEND THIS PLACE NOR WILL I RETURN

It was roach infested nasty asf I rather had slept outside in the parking lot so many roaches I let my luggage air out three days before bringing my home water smelled like sewage it was terrible

I Checked in and immediately Demanded a refund. this place is FILTHY and looks nothing like it is advertised!!!! The beds are Crawling with bed bugs, and blood stains. Theres filth literally coming down the walls, Hair in the shower, broken furniture, and an extremely foul order. I called 3 times before driving an hour in the after math of a tornado however, there were still issues with my reservation, that the manger could’ve cared less about. DO NOT BOOK HERE, THERE ARE BETTER OPTIONS LESS THAT 5 MILES AWAY. DO NOT BOOK!!!

Rust in bathtub. Smoke detector broken and sitting in window ledge. No WiFi or password incorrect resulting in no TV. No blanket on the bed or on the shelf. Front desk person was nice tho.

When I first arrived there to check in the front desk lights was off and he was just sitting in the dark that caught me off guard , i couldn’t even stay there it was bugs and it smelled horrible like someone left something spoiled out , than when I was unpacking he walked in without knocking even tho I said there’s someone in here , when I went to the front to ask him why he came in there he said she was trying to close the doors but , he opened it so how was he trying to close the door. So I left right away and he didn’t want to give me my refund for the room !

Very uncomfortable area

Checked in a directly checked out. Dirty room, blood and stains all over sheets and bed. Comforter was gross. Lifted sheets going bad to worse -- Went to to a refund and guy at desk was hostile and disrespectful, said because I lifted bed sheets and removed comforter he couldnt re-rent room so he wouldnt refund me. Do not stay here. Not sure where the good reviews came from. Expedia was no help either. Never experienced anything like this.

The woman working in the evening shift was always so sweet and friendly and I know I asked a lot of questions lol And check out in the morning with the gentleman was a breeze. I would definitely stay here again!

This place is disgusting! They never sweep or mop the tile floors, there are holes in the walls and ceilings. They give you two towels and women use two towels, one for their hair and one for their body. The gentleman at the front desk either couldn't hear or doesn't speak English, come on, this is ridiculous. I don't know why I keep going back!!!

The room was clean, but the peep hole was just a hole, no cover. A light fixture was missing and the wires were hanging from where the fixture should've been. I would recommend this hotel if you need an affordable room for a short stay.

Never again! Very disappointed, the first room they gave me was very dirty (dirty sheets,dirty couches) then they switched me to a different room and it was worse (towels were dirty and they smelled so bad). I would never go back

They need to scrub the floors and update the bedding that is stained and has holes in it. They also need to put more towles in the room as women use one for their hair as well and they put 2 towels in the room.

It was cheap and convenient and that's what I was looking for at the time however, it smelled like cigerettes.

Overall My stay was absolutely wonderful. My original booking was for a total of 2 nights, but I ended up staying an extra night. It was cold when I arrived and the heater/ac did not have power to it though it was plugged in. Aside from the cold room, everything else was wonderful. I will be booking here again when I return to Houston.

Honestly it's just the cleanliness for me ... nice property close to the city fair price but the floor not being swept and mopped is alarming that's such a simple task ...

What a difference a year makes. I was rather disappointed as I had stayed here previously and everything was nice, which is why I decided to come again. This time, not so much. We were given a room with less than fair conditions. There was an extremely low stream of running water from the faucet. The towels that were given were horribly stained. There was a light fixture hanging out of the ceiling which made me feel very uncomfortable. There was was makeup all over the iron in which simply could have been cleaned before anyone occupied the room. It was disgusting and was all on my hands and countertop. My previous stay was for multiple days but this time, I was only in town for 2days/1 night. When I went to the front desk to ask about the issues with my stay.. I was immediately asked if I wanted my money back. Well that's not great customer service in my opinion. No cares as to what the issues were but only to get me to leave instead of addressing my concerns. If you're gonna stay for just 1 night, find somewhere else to stay! They will most likely give you the worst room available and tell you that's all they have. Btw, I booked and paid in advance for this stay.

I stayed at this hotel when it was brand new. Believe it or not, this started off as a super modern, art-deco hotel. Easily a 4 star hotel. I'm not sure what happened in three years but it is slowly becoming a 1 star hotel. The vanity mirror lights didn't work, toilet was a joke, room wasn't clean (I bought my own pillows, sheets and comforters from the nearby Walmart), walls are thin, interior lighting is a bright joke, nasty floors (you better bring sandals or flip flops) and loud talking neighbors. The guy at the front desk was nice. That's the only compliment I can give. My advice? Stay somewhere else.

The room was very dirty, spills on the wall, dirty bath towels with makeup still on them. The room had gnats and sheets were dirty.

The room was nice but definitely dirty. I can tell the house keeping just straightened up and didn’t actually clean because there were a pair of socks sitting under the chair. The sheets were dirty. There were popcorn kernels on the floor and the toilet wouldn’t flush. The room has nice decor but it’s definitely not being cleaned like it should be.

I had high expectations but was super disappointed by this stay. First the door was stuck and would scrap against the floor and make a horrible noise. Then once we got inside the kitchen area was a mess. The table was filthy and with what’s going on at the moment I would think they would have at least cleaned up a lot better than they did. It’s like they didn’t even bother wiping the table clean or use any cleaning supplies. There was hair on the bed sheets and towels. & lastly the tv didn’t even work. I was so disappointed. They place looked much better online. Lesson learned, next time I’ll pay extra to stay at a nicer place.

Bed was hard as a rock. Floor was dirty. Had a hard time opening the door to get in because it stuck. Area didn't feel safe and tge pictures they post don't look like the actual hotel. I don't consider it a hotel but a motel with all the rooms outside. One of the windows on a downstairs room had tape on it that looked as if someone shot a bullet in the window and the pull down shade also had tape on a hole. Couldn't wait to check out. Not worth the price we paid for what you get.

This is a nice, dipped off hotel. The property is well lit and aesthetically pleasing. Very clean and welcoming. Great location as well. Close to shops and restaurants and Walmart. The gentleman that helped my husband and I (so sorry I forgot your name), was very friendly and helpful. The room, oh my goodness! Soooo beautiful. And the bed was extremely comfortable. The price was on point! I will definitely be coming back and letting my friends know about this place. Or maybe I’ll just keep it a secret for my rendezvous with the hubby. 😏

Great hotel - i always stay here when in Houston. Friendly, attentive staff; constant parking lot security; cute rooms; and, within walking distance of food and shopping. I will definitely stay here again when i have to come back to town!

I've stayed here several times and I'm always happy. Friendly, attentive staff, secure location, and they allowed me to check in super early - over 5hrs early - for a very low fee during my last visit. I reeeeeeally appreciated that. I'll be back many more times.

The front desk personnel is not continuously present. I had to wait for some time and actually call a number before the front desk person arrived. Not against the hotel itself, but during the early morning hours there was a couple in a near room having a verbal altercation and slamming doors.

Made us check into a smoking room on reserve a non-smoking room.

I always enjoy staying here. The rooms are cute, the parking lot is brightly lit up all night, and staff is attentive to lot, lobby and rooms. Walking distance to shopping, fuel, food etc - even a pet daycare/boarding facility within walking distance.

Staff is very friendly and keep an eye on the property at all hours. I always saw one of them patrolling the parking lot. I appreciate that. The rooms are spacious and cute. The hotel is located within walking distance of food and shopping. I was very happy during my stay, especially considering the affordable cost and attentive staff.

Clean and quiet.

Super clean and looked just like the pictures! Place was amazing! Only thing that was a bother is we were constantly reminded of only 4 people were allowed to stay in the room. Due to their surveillance cameras the front desk was able to see 5 of us walk in to the hotel when we were dropping off our things during check out. Only three of us planned on staying due to two of our friends with us Are originally from Houston were going to go home after our event we had going on that evening. So we immediately received a call to state only four were allowed to stay and we told him we understood. Everything else was nice about the hotel but it was a bit of a bother to be monitoring us so strictly.

Everything was in excellent condition. The bed was very comfortable. Only thing I would improve was the quality of the pillows and bath towels. Other than that, everything was excellent. A very good value. Will go back next time I’m in the area.

I really enjoyed the hotel. I had a problem with my toilet and they moved my room immediately. The only issue that I had was that, they tell you the amount of people you can have in the room.

I was impressed with how clean and well-kept the property was. The bed was very comfortable and the furniture was in great shape. The room even passed my "black light test" with flying colors (which is rare!). The only negative thing I can say is that the TV remote control was obviously a replacement and had limited functionality, so I was unable to turn on the closed captioning. I ended up watching shows through my laptop so there was no real loss there. I would gladly book here again in the future!
