Everything was great. Clean and new room. Great breakfast. Nice pool and gym. The room had smell like wet carpet and it’s not so pleasant. Also we had pretty noisy neighbors. But I think it’s not a big problem for a short stay.

Overall, my stay was awesome, and I truly enjoyed the hotel. The property was clean, comfortable, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. The restroom floor had a noticeable slope, which made it feel uneven and potentially unsafe. In addition, I experienced an allergic reaction on my hands during my stay. I cannot confirm the exact cause, but it may have been related to an insect bite or possibly a detergent used for linens or cleaning. Since the cause is unclear, I simply wanted to make management aware so it can be looked into if needed.

I’ve stayed at this property before. I like the fact that it’s in a great location, and the price is reasonable. The hotel is clean and I feel comfortable. The only issue I have is that the staff is never at the front desk. And they’re typically doesn’t seem to be a sense of urgency with requests. I came in and let the front desk person know (after waiting five minutes for them to even step out) that I needed more towels in my room. They asked my room number and I provided it to them. Never received any towels. Two hours later I went back downstairs and of course no one was at the desk. When the person finally decided to come out of the little room, I asked again and that’s when they gave me towels. There were two other incidents service related that I could share, but that’s just gonna extend the length of this note. But overall the only thing I really don’t like about the property is the staff and they’re visibility and availability to customers

I don't know why this place doesn't have very good reviews, but we had a great stay. It was clean, the staff was extremely friendly, and the breakfast was excellent.

Front desk staff is the most amazing customer service experience on any hotel property I have visited. From the initial Smile to going out of their way to accommodate early checkins and luggage storage. Please continue to train all your staff based on the Front desk!

he cleanliness was exceptional, and the hotel overall was very comfortable and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation. The only small issue during my stay was that on the last night, some guests were running through the hallways and knocking loudly on doors. However, I understand that this was not really the hotel’s fault. Overall, I had a great experience.

I like that the everything was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, but not in the way or bothersome. I especially loved that even though the eating area was closed at night the hotel still provided utensils for their guests because we didn’t get any when we DoorDashed. The hotel is in a great area everything you’ll need is mostly within a 3-10 mile radius. I didn’t like the parking is so limited in the front of the hotel, but I did notice there is a security guard on the property at night so it makes up for having to park on the side or back of the hotel at night.

The hotels looked very clean and well maintained. The staff are very courteous and friendly. The morning breakfast is very decent and covers variety of food items. Very affordable price as well. The hotel is situated for all the nearby attractions such as Gerald d Hines water fall, statue of unity, Vietnamese buddha monastery, balloon museum etc. I have a Tesla so there’s a nearby Tesla super charger in Queensberry parkway (there’s a nearby shopping center, so by the time the Tesla gets fully charged), I can go around shopping. Overall it’s a great experience.

This hotel is very loud, you hear the 1-10 traffic all night long. It also took a week for them to release the $100 hold on my card.

Staff was unprofessional and inattentive to the needs of customers. I waited and hour at a empty desk for the rep to come.

The breakfast and coffee was really good! Parking was nice and easily accessible. The rooms were big and beds were so comfortable! I just wish they had a hot tub. Other than that it was a great stay. We will definitely stay here again if we're in the area.

The following morning I tried to call the front desk to request late check out but the phone did not work. I then went to breakfast and the turkey sausage, potatoes and the powdered scrambled eggs were over cooked and dry like they were from the previous day. Additionally, when asking the breakfast attendant whether there were any boiled eggs, she seemed annoyed that we interrupted the music she was listening to on the speaker of her cell phone. On the up side, the room was clean and comfortable.

The front desk lady, her name started w an L is believe, was so friendly and accomadating. She ran over to the fridge and got my a Powerade to give him and helped me find the bathroom to get supplies. She hooked us up w a quiet room at the end of the hall too. The site says 3 minute walk to city centre. That is so so false. That is why I picked this hotel. The hotel is new and nice but it’s not walking distance to city centre. It’s on the other side of the interstate. It’s not even possible to walk there if you wanted to. Hotel and staff were nice but location was not as advertised online

This was a very noisy building. Not the road or so much people, You can hear every movement in the building around you. Why do they *require* a $100 bond for amenities, which aren’t in the room. Don’t know what amenities I might have needed. The front desk says I should expect my $100 back in 2 weeks???!? Maybe they can take some of the interest from my 2 week, $100 loan and buy some plastic ware for breakfast.

Then had to back out onto the 4-lane service road of Katy Freeway at 5:30p. Very dangerous move. I complained to the desk clerk and she said she’s “told them about it”. !!!! Does a family need to be rear-ended before someone rethinks this idea?

I can’t blame the hotel consider how TX roads are built but it’s inconvenient to get in and out consider you would have to go 1 mile pass the hotel to make a u-turn. It’s one big one-way road… It was busy weekend due to some events. They were short staffed but the worker did her best and had to put up with a family who’s being difficult due to their poor planning.

There was a maintenance issue with my room initially and the front desk moved me to a different room right away. The fitness center was decent too...water, towels, treadmills, elliptical, and free weights.

Upon arrival I went to my room to place my bags in and noticed that the restroom was unsanitized and dirty. I immediately went down within 5 mins of check in to inform customer service. She immediately took action to tell whom I assume was the manager. The manager appeared to be hesitant in responding but stated she would go up to take look at it. We left for dinner and returned about 5 - 6 hours later only to see the room had not been touched. I immediately called the front desk to inform them and was told housekeeping was not there. I advised that we would not be willing to stay in an unsanitary condition room. She did stated the only option was to move to another room but had an unpleasant attitude about it and said if you want the other room you need to come get the key because I’m deactivating the one you have. It was a total dissatisfaction to be placed in a dirty room, had to be moved at midnight after returning due to no action being taken with customer service having a not so pleasant attitude about it. Very unpleasant stay and we refuse to eat the breakfast since cleanliness didn’t appear to be important there.

The coffee maker didn’t work, and went to shower and realized there was no hair dryer in my room. So if you’re on a tight schedule and budget your time, check all that stuff at night. I ended up changing coffee pots with a person two doors down because the coffee pot person didn’t come in until 9 o’clock and I had to leave here at 8:30 for a meeting.

The staff was unresponsive, they were running out of drinking water. Breakfast was supposed to start at 7 but till 8 there was no hot breakfast. When we asked when is the breakfast going to be ready, front desk with unhappy face came out put the sign “ no hot breakfast at the moment sorry for inconvenience “ I did not expect this from this pricy hotel.

Stayed for sons baseball games which was right down the street. I also liked the convenience of having a variety of places to shop and eat

It was nice and clean. Since it was close to the freeway you can hear the freeway noise.

Everything was as expected and worth it!

This hotel is great, as far as location, comfort, cleanliless, friendliness of staff, etc. However, I think my last trip to this hotel IS my last trip to this hotel, due to there being some sort of issue with the fire alarm. My family & I have stayed here on two, separate dates that the fire alarm triggered and loudly "screamed" at us until the fire department arrived. The first incident was about a month ago, and the alarm triggered at 4 a.m. Needless to say, this didn't make for a peaceful night's sleep. The second incident, which was this morning, was at least at a decent hour (around 8 a.m.), but it is a bit unnerving when you're lathered up in the shower and the fire alarm begins blaring. I realize things malfunction sometimes, but if something happens multiple times, it REALLY needs to be tended to asap.

Our first room had a really strong time smell. We were able to change rooms. The second room was much better however the person next door were smoking weed last evening. The odor was strong all the way to the elevator. We had 2 adults and 2 children and not enough towels and washcloths for everyone so we had to request more. There was a short in no the headboard so the phone and plugs didn’t work properly.

I didn’t like that I was charged an extra $100 at check in and now have to wait an undetermined amount of time to be refunded. It shouldn’t take that long.

Hotel was clean and so was our room and the rooms are cold and quiet. Hotel staff was great and very helpful and we loved to the breakfast!

Out room was decent when we checked in.. but once we turned on the air the room filled with a mildew smell .. the more we flushes the toilet the more the bathroom smelled like rotten meat. The ladies at the front desk are polite but I do not recommend this hotel

I told them that i would arrive 5 am because of flight schedule by message and at front desk. But anyway they cancel my reservation. I wouldnt stay there anymore.

They had the best breakfast included ive ever had. Here for a stay cation and we will diffently be back! Such nice clean rooms! There was a noise complaint i had at almost midnight and it was handled immediately. I felt safe as a single mother with 3 kids there.

The lady that checked me in was super nice and helpful very quick. And the lady I spoke to me during checkout was super nice even talked me into taking a quick bite at the breakfast before I ran off to work that day.

Quick stay convenient location for us.

Even though right off the highway, heard none of the commotion outside. Really nice room, clean, good tv channels. My only complaints are the thin floors/ceiling as everytime the person above me, heavy footed as they were, walked around it woke me up, also whenever the a/c came on we could smell vinegar.

The woman with glasses and braids that works the evening's and worked Memorial Day morning front desk is rude and incompetent. She had no knowledge that breakfast was to stay offered until 10 am on holidays. She also seemed to be running a scam. A guest was upset with the other front desk staff, she had a wavy lace front. Well the guest was upset because the incompetent one allowed her to check in under someone elses name without an ID. I wont be returning. That seems fishy. Who knows what else is going on there.

My room was located near the restaurant next door. I was only there to get some quiet time and quickly realized why the room cane with ear buds. I could still hear the late closing restaurant with the ear buds. Also I could hear the hallway loud and clear.

Comfortable beds. Easy check in. Good breakfast.

Overall a nice hotel for a one night stay. Although the beds are like sleeping on concrete. Nice breakfast but very disappointed with the “suite” I was in. The shower handle was broken and the coating was peeling off the faucet. Also the room was just that, a room. Nothing special for being a suite. Changed my next trip hotel because of how dissatisfied I was with this hotel. Staff was nice, but not comfortable at all.

I have never experienced poor service in an IHG hotel until now. Having stayed in a few in England I was very excited to check out the US version. We waited over 20 minutes to check in, despite two staff being on the desk, only one was helping. They took a payment on the morning of my check in, despite me having specified I’d pay at the hotel. They then took a further $100 off my card without informing me, or exposing what it was for. We got to our room, which was lovely, to find the sofa bed had no linen and the second key card did not work. Went to reception and they fixed the card, no apology for the inconvenience. I asked about the linen, the went and got it and gave it to us to carry back up to our room!! I asked why they had taken money that money, I was told it was to make sure my card worked otherwise they would have to cancel my booking. I asked why the second payment was so large, they advised this was a refundable deposit in case of damages. Absolute shambles and not the great hospitality we had received in the UK branches, nor in other Houston businesses

Rooms were okay.

Quiet, very clean, and in a great location. It’s not too far from the Memorial City Mall. I will definitely recommend this location for those looking for a cool place to stay when visiting Houston.

This hotel was so nice! Tony was super nice. Room was super clean and bed was so comfortable. Loved how you had Dove shampoo, conditioner and body wash in shower. There was also Dove hand wash and body lotion by sink. There was a Keurig in room with coffee pods. I would surely stay there again!

Room and hotel were in good shape. Located right off of I-10 so they had earplugs in the room. Got down to breakfast with 30 minutes left and there were no cinnamon rolls left, other items were almost gone as well.

Our stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Houston was great. We were there for soccer games and the hotel was in a great location for a quick trip to the fields. There were plenty of options for eating in the immediate area. We very close to the highway, but didn't have any trouble sleeping. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was good.

3 days in a row the people above us were stomping, jumping and running at 2 and 3 in the morning. I called the office the first night and after an hour tey stopped. Next night called the lady at front desk told me to be respectable as it was a family with 4 toddlers checking in at 3 am and needed to give them time. 1.5 hours later they stopped. Happened 3rd night. They made them stop

Front desk manager would not allow a late check out because i booked through a third party. This isnt right.

My stay was wonder and the staff was exceptional.

Clean Rooms

It was clean, but the wash cloths had a sour odor to them. The makeup removers also smelled bad. The bed was comfortable, but we would have preferred a regular sofa over that chaise lounge. The exit door at the bottom of the stairs, to the parking lot was misaligned and would not close securely. I told the customer service staff and they said it was a maintenance issue that they were aware of.

Very nice hotel in the Memorial area, easy to find and close to the medical facilities if you need a place to stay for that.

It was close to many restaurants, unfortunately room next door was very noisy, couple got into a fight then loud music. We could not rest
