We loved the roominess of the place, it was very quiet, which was a plus. They had everything we needed for cooking. Was very excited, but found out this is the only one. So next time you're in the Fort Lee area, this is the place to stay.

The room was clean and plenty of room. It seems like the building is old by the way the floors creaked in the room and it smelled stale in the hall and room. We stayed in a suite for 1 night and it was comfy enough for us.

Clean room except for the sofa mattress, was dirty. The bananas for breakfast were green ( no edible) other than that ok.

The tub was in need of repair. Looks like they started but didn't finish. Other than that it was perfect. Will return again.

But my issue is with Booking.com bc they advertise the room as a 2 bedroom but they counting the pull out sofa as a bed and I was traveling with my 16yr old daughter and that pull out sofa was not comfortable for me or my bad back, and it was no rooms with actual 2 beds on the property!!! So I was told!

The location was convenient—close to Richmond and within reasonable distance of the DC area. Pricing was decent, and there was plenty of parking available. We also liked that breakfast was included, and check-in was quick and smooth. There were a few issues that stood out. The shower had a used bar of soap left in it, which made cleanliness feel inconsistent. Some light bulbs were out, so the room felt pretty dim overall. We were only given three pillows for two people, which didn’t really make sense. The queen bed also felt smaller than expected. If you’re staying for more than a short visit, I’d recommend going with the quadruple room instead—it’s a better setup for longer stays.

Our room was very spacious and for the most part clean. The hotel could use a few updates to the cabinets and furnishings. However, it was okay considering the price. The neighborhood felt safe and was convenient to the interstate. The breakfast was mediocre.

We booked two rooms for one night before we few back home from Richmond airport (about 25min). This hotel wasn't that close to the airport. The rooms were very large (like a studio apartment) and had a refrigerator, stove, sink, and all the items needed in a kitchen. It had some amenities..hair dryer and soap but no shampoo or any "extras." One of our rooms was perfect no complaints. The other had an overwhelming smell of fried food and the room looked like it had been lived in for years...stains on the furniture and the items in the kitchen were very used. We notified the frontdesk and they basically said oh well. there is nothing we can do. They were fully booked. So we went to the store to buy air fresheners and opened windows. glad it was only one night because the smell was THAT bad.

All the staff i encountered were welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and had some kitchen supplies that came in handy. The wifi was not the best. It was spotty and kept disconnecting.

Breakfast was good. When I got there my reservation was nothing compared to what I reserved they gave me a handicap room when my reservation states 2 adults 1 child. Front desk was not friendly. They placed me and my sister in a filthy room I had to go buy cleaning stuff. The smell was so bad. My sister is a cancer patient and had to sleep on a nasty pull out sofa and mattress. They blamed it on booking.com

We’ve stayed here many times! The suites are perfect, spacious, comfortable and very very clean. Whole place is clean inside and out. You can sit outside on the patio. Staff is super attentive to all your needs. I love having the option of cooking. Each well is supplied with your essentials for cooking. A 10 out of 10!

The king suite was very spacious. The room was clean. Staff was pleasant and helpful. The location is quiet and a little secluded, off the main highway.

The breakfast was good and the food was hot, and it never felt too crowded. The location was perfect since it was only a few minutes from the friends we were visiting. The suite was a nice size and felt more like an apartment than a hotel room, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and comfortable. If I had known about this place earlier, I would have booked it for past visits to the area. The only issue was the water temperature in the bathroom. The water got warm, but it never got fully hot. Other than that, everything else about the stay was good.

There were ongoing parties occurring in a neighboring room during my stay. I informed staff of the disturbance and was told that multiple guests had already complained; however, the noise continued until approximately 4:00 a.m. Due to the excessive noise and the firmness of the bed, I was unable to sleep comfortably and ultimately had to rest in the bathtub to get any sleep. While staff did apologize when I reported this experience, I believe the situation warranted more than an apology given the significant impact it had on my stay.

The hot water wasn't. Barely warm. Told staff when checking out. No light in the microwave One of the USB ports in the alarm clock did not work The sofa was in need of a new one and the easy chair in the main bedroom area, was scruffy, but still comfortable.

The room had an old mold smell to it. The carpet and couches appeared to be unclean

The room was extremely nice, the bed was comfortable and the kitchen saved me money from having to eat fast food or eat out the whole of my stay. The elevator was a bit slow and the laundry room had a washer and dryer that were broken. The wifi in the room kept being weird as well with our phones.

It was a good day. We would definitely stay there again in the future.

Very convenient to highway. A large, well stocked, clean room. A good breakfast. A nice selection of restaurants nearby.

Location worked well for our trip to NC. Outside Entrance was full of leaf debris and some garbage cans were over flowing with garbage on the ground.

We plan to return, the Lord willing.

Internet was a PROBLEM!!. Came and went, came and went. If you have work to do, DO NOT STAY HERE. Staff was nice. Breakfast decent, but no meat. Room was huge, so that is nice. So, if you don't have work to do, this place is fine.

The room only had one end table. This made it necessary for us to move the coffee table into the bedroom. We have a C-Pap machine and require somewhere other than the floor to put it while we are sleeping. (Apologies to anyone in the room beneath ours.)

This is one of the hotels I only use for a quick getaway. Staff always friendly and rooms always clean. When I show people how the rooms look they think it is a home until they see for themselves

Overall my stay was great. The room, especially the bathroom/tub, needed a good wipe down, but other than that it was clean—served a good, fresh breakfast.

Sink was spraying to the side. Toilet was permanently running. Extra 37 dollars for parking.

Took a shower & the floor flooded due to no lip or not enough lip on the apparently sloping shower floor No hair dryer & no blankets, no more in stock toilet stopped up late at night & could not be cleared, nor did we want to get dressed & allow stranger in if available —-& not likely based on the prior requests—that late at night. Questionable character loitering in & outside lobby, whom (after I inquired) office attendant said he was calling about Ice machine was in the next building , which required crossing the parking lot. Desire a refund or some compensation bc this was rated 9,4!!

The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The suite was very large. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean. One thing I recommend updating - the light in the "living room" area was too small light and it was kind of dark in that area. One thing I recommend totally getting rid of - the clock that had a bright light around the bottom rim! What's the point of having great black-out curtains in the bedroom when that clock light was SO bright?! I had to put 2 towels over the clock at night so it wasn't so bright in the room! But overall, Stay Over Suites is really nice, a good value, and a great location if you're visiting someone at Fort Lee!

Not sure what changed here but the last two times I stayed at this hotel, it was not as clean as it used to be. I have elderly parents nearby so I come often. I will try it one more time but if still not clean, I will stay elsewhere.

The people above my room started pounding on the floor at 10 pm. I thought they would break through it was so loud. After the second time I called the desk. Then again after the 4th time. They were afraid to do anything. Said the manager would handle it at 7 AM. No offer to move me. I asked about how I was supposed to sleep and got silence. It happened off n on until about 11. Then again at 6 AM. Not a pleasant stay.

Wonderful stay. Staff were so friendly and accommodating. The suites are a great size and have great features. I would make sure you confirm the type of guests staying - their 4 person suite with double and full is really for 2 adults and 2 young kids - not 4 adults. Their king suite is ok for 4 adults.

This was a nice property and decent price. I was very surprised and pleased. The staff was also great.

My stay was comfortably and quiet. Had a few issues with tub drainage and ironing board.,but maintenance took care of it promptly I felt valued. I dnt like the pillows though they gave me neck pains.

This place was great. It's more of a short-term apartment rental than a hotel. Everything was great. I have a bad back, and the bed here did not bother it at all. The breakfast was good quality, and the location was great. Everything the traveler needs within a quarter mile.

The rooms are old and smell bad. There are stains in the carpet and in the shower. The website says housekeeping every day but you only get once a week and since I was there 4 days, I had none. Apparently you take your own trash out? Never again

They welcomed us with a great attitude, shared breakfast hours for the next day, and even let us know we could help ourselves to some free cookies at check-in. The room was super clean and honestly exceeded our expectations. It felt amazing walking in—we were both really impressed. Just thinking about it now brings back good memories. We’ve never stayed at a hotel that nice before. If I had to point out anything, it would just be that it would’ve been nice to have a couple of water bottles in the fridge and maybe a trash can outside the bathroom. Nothing major, just small things that could make the stay even better. Everything else was great—we really loved it.

Easy check-in, when I arrived, I told the desk clerk who I was, and I had a reservation. The desk clerk took my credit card and handed me a key card for my room.

The facility is beginning to show it's age. The water pressure in the shower leaves much to be desired. We stay here frequently and will probably continue to do so. However, if a better deal presents itself, we may try elsewhere.

We stay here quite often, but never when they are full. There wasn't sufficient pillows but they tried to accommodate with an additional rolled up blanket. Also there wasn't a remote control for either TV but they gave me one when I went to the check-in desk. Breakfast was a little sparse. Only bread available was cinnamon raisin bagels. However the room was large and otherwise well stocked. We will continue to go there as long as the price remains reasonable.

The staff was great, very friendly. While leaving the room the next morning the whole hallway smelled like marijuana all the way to the elevator. When exiting the elevator there seemed to be a trail of dried blood from the elevator to the door, and into the parking lot. We will not be back.
