Great location and everything very close by. The beach was a 5 min walk, the onsite pool was great and there are lots of options for charter boats right outside the front door!

The pool temperature was perfect & nice to have ping pong & jenga available . Room service was excellent. Would have preferred if parking was included in stay and not added charge .

Perfect location , villas are great well equipped and very clean, walkable distance to the beach.

Customer service was great, property provided beach towels, umbrellas, toys, and boogie boards without additional cost.

The property is very nice and conveniently located in AMI. However after going for the second year in a row we were very disappointed. Very dirty. One walk around the room and our kids feet were black. No mopping goes on only vacuuming and the same things like sand where still on the floor each time we went back. One day they didn't put towels for us and ended up bringing it quick when we called. Best customer service was from a young man named Tyler who switched out our rooms as soon as we got there and hadn't gotten the same one as the year prior ( due to space ). We loved the hotel prior to this stay, and will most likely not be back. Getting outdated and like I said very unclean. The couches and the carpets are also very filthy. Big worry especially when traveling with kids and you see little cockroaches in the room.

Me and my family will definitely book here again. Beautiful views and great hospitality.

Good facility

We absolutely loved our stay and the pool area is gorgeous. Thanks for keeping the pool water so warm! The kitchen area was perfect for the nights we cooked in. We will definitely be back!

Amazing place, clean and amazing service

I stayed with a friend and we really enjoyed the location and the view. Hotel restraunt was very nice also.

Great location, beach was just a couple of minutes walk, free trolley/bus to go anywhere on the island with pickup in front of the hotel, activities available at the marina for booking and lots to explore! Only negative was the pool heater was on the fritz, didn’t miss it much with all the other things to do. Kids had to figure out life without fast food options!

We loved everything about this place! So roomy and convenient!

Upon arrival, the desk clerk was super friendly and helpful. I believe he said his name was Luis. He had only been working for a couple of weeks but he was AWESOME! When we checked in our room, we did our normal wipe down, antibacterial spray, and check the bedding. Well, we discovered bugs that were extremely tiny and would normally be brushed away like lint but one moved which is what caught our eye. This is not a complaint but a highlight to the hotel staff, specifically Maggie, who came to our room and changed all three beds with fresh bedding. She was so friendly. Once we got clean beds, we had an awesome experience. Each day we interacted with staff, they were very friendly and helpful with which beach we should go to, where to eat, and how to catch the trolley. I would definitely come back.

Location good. Staff amazing. We left our passports and staff couldn't have done more to notify us. We travelled back the next day. Didn't need to as Andrew said he was happy to FedEx to us the next day but in all honesty we were happy to return. Accomodation was fab. Had everything we needed . Can't fault in any way

The grease trap was being renovated at the property. The grounds and our room smelled like a combination of rancid meat and rotten eggs. The GM was AWOL.

location was ideal, we did not have breakfast Surprided when we booked that they do not have any 1 bedroom rooms. For my wife and i we thought is was too expensive

Lovely condo apartment suitable for families or two couples wanting their own private facilities as it comes with 2 ensuites . There is also a full kitchen which we didn't need the use of as we only stayed one night. Nice fresh linens on the beds, very comfy too. There is also a Keurig coffee machine in the reception area ... Would prefer a Keurig coffee machine in the condo .

The only disappointing part of my stay here was there were no robes and slippers that I thought their website listed as an amenity;-))

The room was great. Plenty of space for the family. Everything felt new. It was very comfortable to be in There was a lot of construction in the area leading to traffic and making it difficult to walk from the hotel to other places. Beach access wasn’t as easy from here

Extremely comfy beds, spacious, and beautiful location on AMI. Full kitchen if you want to eat in and located close to several amenities and the beach. My family highly recommends staying here!

The staff were very accommodating. The apartment/ room was so well appointed, really spacious, comfortable and designed with style and practicality in mind. We were in an apartment for 6 and there were only four chairs at the dining table and only two chairs on the balcony. We didn't ask, however, as it didn't really bother us. I'm sure the hotel would have got us more furniture if we'd asked.

We loved our stay at the Waterside Marina! It was a perfect landing spot after a day of travel. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful! The room was very nice with plenty of room to spread out and get comfy. We also enjoyed an evening swim in the beautiful heated pool with a poolside cocktail! We will definitely return if in the area again!

NO ROOM SERVICE even though hotels.com says there are limited hours of room service. NOT ADVERTISED CORRECTLY. No room service. NONE. Also, this place is poorly managed. Not the fault of the staff who seem to be doing the best they can with a difficult situation. Example: If you press "0" on your phone for front desk - it will ring and ring. There is no answering machine alerting you to the hours. Then if you go downstairs - you wait 10-20 minutes for the front desk to "get off the phone with a guest" and respond to you. Also - rooms starting with "3" are on the 2nd floor not the 3rd floor - who came up with that? Our front door was not "charged" so our key cards to our rooms didn't work. Eventually they replaced it. Also if you're in the back of the property you have to climb up and down three flights of stairs - no elevators. I could go on and on but - basically a nice property, nice staff, poorly managed. Not worth the price. On the plus side - the onsite restaurant is good but - you DO need a reservation. No lattes onsite - I bring this up as a coffee addict. Limited food/drink options but all of it was tasty.

In unit washer/drier. Pool was great for kids and had some toys available for use. Close to everything.

I was very disappointed that the restaurant was closed Monday and Tuesday. Also online they had a breakfast menu but I was told that even on Wednesday morning the restaurant was closed, only open for dinner . One of the reasons we booked there was for the convenience of a restaurant and lounge .

Waterline is a top flight facility with excellent service. The maintenance guys were extremely helpful when I needed some help. We would definitely stay here again.

The staff is exceptionally friendly and well trained. They were helpful, friendly, and seemed genuinely interested in giving great service. The person working the front desk was particularly helpful and cheerful. The rooms were generous in size, the bathrooms were good, and the suite we stayed in had a nice kitchenette and living room.

Hotel was great! Beautiful accomodations. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Stayed 3 nights with 2 kids and we had a great time. Walkable distance to shops and restaurants. The pool was nice and seemed to be heated which was great since it was chilly on our last day. We were even fortunate to see a manatee right from our balcony at the marina docks below along with several pelicans.. Amazing!

I have been a regular visitor to the Anna Maria/Longboat Key area and am really familiar with it. It was, however, my first time staying at the Waterline. I must say, it was really top shelf! We stayed in one of the suites and the amenities were superb! While we were only there for one night we, unfortunately, did not get the chance to eat in the restaurant. We did however, order room service which was delicious. All in all, I would rate this hotel as first class and will most definitely be booking it again in the future!

Travelling from the UK We stayed for 3 nights in the two bedroom suite with kitchen and living room. It was luxurious and everything in the rooms were top end quality and brand new. This made our trip extremely enjoyable. Pool area was quiet and again great facilities. Front desk staff were beyond outstanding and simply couldn't do enough to help. They were welcoming and informative. Without a doubt we will be visiting again and will also recommend this hotel to friends and family. Best hotel in Anna Maria area. Perfect location to visit the island too.

Staff are incredible- they just can’t do enough for you to make sure your stay is an enjoyable one. Perfect for a few days on the island.

3 o’clock check in but room not ready until almost 5. Staff did their best but not very helpful. If it were a best western for 75$ I wouldn’t care.

We spent the day in Busch gardens and Tampa, but wanted to explore Holmes beach. This hotel was beautiful and so clean! Very expensive though

We really enjoyed this hotel, it was very spacious, King sized beds, TV's in every room, full kitchen, our room even had a washer and dryer in it! It was very clean and had everything we needed. The only thing I didn't like was the pillows, they were too mushy for me, and the free continental breakfast was not much, only some cereal, yogurt and fruit, but better then nothing :)

1. It's in an odd part of the island. We'd only been to Anna Maria once and thought we'd be closer to the fun colorful houses. However, this feels like where the locals live as it was across from a hardware store and the surroundings aren't the fun vacation vibe we expected.The resort will shuttle you daily to the beach, which is a 5-minute ride. Between the island trolley, the monkey bus, ubers and the hotel shuttle, it's easy to access the beach, restaurants and Bridge St. However, I would have liked to have known before arriving. 2. The Beach Club staff is AMAZING. All three people we interacted with were truly incredible. GREAT customer service and very helpful. We loved them! Some of the front desk staff, however, seem a little new to the hospitality industry. For example, they charged us $5 for a razor when I forgot mine, which is pretty unusual for a hotel at this price. Not a big deal at all, but little things like that still need to be figured out re: customer service. 3. Our room did not overlook the marina - it overlooked a gravel parking lot. The resort was not full, but the person at the front desk said we couldn't be upgraded because we'd gotten the Expedia rate. Again, not a huge deal, but since there seemed to be avail rooms overlooking the marina/pool, it's good to know that you'll likely not have it at the rate you get here.
