Reviews
The Diplomat Beach Resort is a beautiful property with excellent amenities, including pools, a private beach, and a variety of dining options. The staff is generally friendly and helpful, but some guests have experienced issues with cleanliness, maintenance, and service. The resort is popular with families, but some guests have found it to be overcrowded and noisy.

He didn't explain what the wrist bands were for, didn't say where the elevators were at, didn't explain what restaurants were inside the hotel. Basically had us pay the room fee and gave us ours keys. Other than that, the hotel was nice!

The hotel needs to be remodeled, the rooms look old and the living room air conditioner was not working properly, it was like a sauna in there

Bedroom is too small for 3 people, the double beds is advised as sleep 4 but can actually have only 2 people sleeping in there. Talking to the staff didn’t try to help at all. And asked me to upgrade to a suite by paying extra $300 per night

I had a great stay at the Signia by Hilton Diplomat Beach Resort. The staff was amazing — super friendly and always attentive. The pools were incredible, and the whole hotel is honestly stunning. From the lobby to the bars, restaurants, and cafés, everything looks beautiful and well designed. If I had to mention something negative, it would be that the room cleaning could be improved a little, but overall the experience was really good.

The staff is, for the most part, helpful enough when approached. Availability and service during pool hours was limited so proactive service is an opportunity. The property cleanliness also leaves opportunity. For a luxury positioned resort with automatic gratuities in place, they can elevate the overall experience.
- 3/5
First thing be careful with hidden fees, that can hurt, room is just ok that’s it, staff ignore you, and for more nature go wrong with algae in the beach but a lot, pool ahh is ok but they use the most cheap pavers and you can get burnt your feet , pool music not one care about it, they have a miss connection and you feel a intermittent noise ,in general is a lot of money for nothing extravagant, they charge a luxury fee jajaja, simple in not the best , go to cruise is better way to spend money .

Unfortunately various issues with the front desk(over and double charging, takes a manager to solve an issue, time is not of an essence. Waited 3 hours(9pm - midnight) for the staff to bring 2 bags to the room(called front desk numerous times, since bags contain critical heart medication..). Just received my Amex statement: Hotel bill - still $200.00 over....

nice hotel and wonderful staff. I hated to be charge $59 on the first night at check in of 4pm to be able to use the pool area for 2 hours, which I didn't because I wanted to settle in and find some food. The next day for lunch, your only choice was to go all the way pass the pool area outside for lunch. They need to make the restaurant that's open only for breakfast also available for lunch. other then that it's a nice clean hotel.

We stayed at this hotel for 6 days. During our trip we didn’t have water for 8 hours. Luckily we were out when the shut down happened. After calling the front desk we were informed that the water should be back on (it wasn’t restored for another hour after our call). We then were given a letter letting us know to not drink the water (the letter was received after brushing my teeth and getting sick from the water). The next day we received a letter that there would be construction outside our hotel and that cars would not be able to pass without speaking permission. Then on the day before we left the hotel gave us a 3rd letter letting us know that we would not have hot water for 8 more hours. We were never notified during or after booking that there would be construction (there was construction across from our balcony) and the food is too expensive not to mention the amenities charge is mandatory and really was useless to us (access to bikes and kayaks). Other than that the hotel is clean and the pool is very nice: the hotel itself is fine but for what we paid (including extra for the “amenities”) I was hoping to have hot water or at least know about it

Although my intial room was a disaster, the replacement room was better. I liked the variety of areas to eat and drink. The 21 and up area was a pleasant place if parents kept their children from out of the area. I liked the warm towels in the pool area. The place had an initimate feel and the views are great. The check in guy did not explain anything to me upon check in and just handed me these blue bands and some letter about the water not being drinkable. That was my first red flag of the stay because he was not warm and it was as if my money wasn't worth the customer service. My initial room was not clean. Hair in the tub as if someone just shaved in it, used toilet paper in the toilet and not flushed, something on the ceiling and tablet, and I had hair in my drink and a fly a seperate time. There were also a lot of flies in the pool area that when you got out, you were covered in them. Also a lot of unruly kids and a few times adults kept bringing them to the 21 and up area. They also stood on the wall of the hot tub and jumping in the hot tub as if it were the pool.

- 5/5
The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The adult pool was heated, which was a great feature, while the kids’ pool was not heated. Overall, the property was well maintained and enjoyable. My biggest complaint was the parking fee. Charging $75 per day for parking is excessive and significantly increased the cost of the stay. The parking price should be reconsidered.

I stay at beach resorts all the time from the W to the clipper and more. This one blows all of them out of the water. High standards met
- 5/5
The room is very spacious as well as the bathroom that has bathtub. With the reservation you have 1 hour kayak or paddleboard rent included. Breakfast buffet a little expensive but great food
- 5/5
The outdoor pool is great
- 2/5
Staff was great, but the hotel looks rundown. For the price they charge , the amenities cost. The hotel should be better maintained.
- 2/5
Food is OK. Service is BAD. Gratuity is included on all bills so service is very light touch and slow. Not a resort experience, more like a economy cruise ship.
- 3/5
hotel was definitely turned into a chain hotel and lost the integrity of what the diplomat used to be. the adult pool was not cleaned daily, staff at the beach were very helpful and accommodating. However, staff at guest/bell services were unpleasant.
- 5/5
Dining reservations highly recommended. Hard to find chairs if you are not an early bird. Pool area really crowded unless you reserve the private section. We did and enjoyed it, but of course it’s extra.
- 4/5
The valet parking situation was poorly managed. No one warned that high volume request could not be filled for over an hour. I had to Uber to not miss reservations in town. We were told to notify the valet 20 minutes before departure. That was not the case on two occasions.
- 5/5
The resort was perfect. The upgrade to the room was affordable. Ashley went above and beyond for us. We will definitely be back.
- 3/5
This was the grounds are beautiful. The only thing that was offputting. The fact that the pools close at 7 PM. The other issue with the amount of red algae on the thing will walk to get in the water because there was so much red algae

This resort is the absolute BEST in Hollywood beach! My husband and I frequent South Florida and ever since we found the Diplomat we stay here as long as they have availability for us. The accommodations are next level- truly a resort, not just some hotel. On top of that, everything came with an extra charge. The prices throughout the resort were excessive, and even basic amenities felt like an additional expense. Paying $80 for valet parking was the final straw. For the amount of money charged, I expected a much more enjoyable and comfortable experience. Instead, it felt overcrowded, overpriced, and poorly managed. Unfortunately, I would not return and cannot recommend this hotel to others looking for a relaxing vacation.

At the main bar, you can wait up to 30 minutes just for a beer, only for it to be served warm. The worst experience happened at the breakfast restaurant. I was forced to wait outside for 35 minutes, standing with my newborn daughter, because they claimed there were no tables available for 5 people. However, during that time, they allowed two groups of 6 people to enter simply because they were Diamond Gold members. That makes me wonder if my money is worth less, because as far as I know, I paid for my stay and it was not complimentary. I find the staff’s attitude disrespectful and discriminatory. The only person who treated us with kindness, respect, and professionalism was the bartender named LC. Thanks to her for making a difference.

The experience at the resort was in general great we were in an ocean video room, and the pools were very nice even though I had kids and couldn’t experience the adult section. However the valet parking was a real issue every time you have to get your car there was 1 hour wait to request the car and then another hour to get your car. That was really bad.

The hotel check-in was terrible. They told me the room was ready after 1 hour and 5 minutes past the check-in time, and the room I rented was not the one they gave me. I rented one with a balcony and they gave me one without a balcony. Honestly, I’m very upset about that

I had an inconvenience with Booking.com where my reservation was never properly registered with the hotel, even though I had booked the room a month in advance. After waiting for hours while the staff searched for my reservation, unfortunately they were unable to locate it. Despite the situation not being the hotel’s fault, the manager went above and beyond to make things right. Their professionalism, patience, and willingness to accommodate me completely changed the experience. They truly did everything possible to make up for Booking.com’s mistake and ensure I was taken care of. Exceptional customer service like that deserves recognition. Thank you to the hotel staff and management for turning a frustrating situation into a positive experience. Overall, the stay had both positives and negatives. One thing I did notice was that many of the prices throughout the facility were definitely on the higher end. Valet parking was around $75 even for guests staying at the hotel, and after requesting the vehicle, wait times were often between 1–2 hours before it was brought out. The line to get the car was ridiculous, made me not want to get my car and just pay for ubers during my stay. So i was forced to pay valet and Ubers. The breakfast buffet was also about $50 per person. While the food itself was decent, There was not that many options, the drink service was delayed and there were barely enough chairs available for guests. At times, the hotel felt overcrowded and over capacity. The quality of people ( guests) were on the low end and a few commotions broke out. That said, it was Mother’s Day weekend, so the hotel being fully booked likely played a major role in the long waits and crowded atmosphere. Despite the inconveniences, the staff still remained professional and worked hard to accommodate everyone during an extremely busy weekend.

At check-in, I was assured that my room was an “Ocean View with King Size Bed.” In reality, to actually see the ocean, I practically had to lean half of my body outside the balcony. This was clearly a partial ocean view, not what was advertised, and felt very misleading. The valet service was also unacceptable, with wait times of no less than two hours just to get the car. The hotel hallways constantly smelled like marijuana, creating an unpleasant atmosphere throughout the property. The bars and restaurants were completely overwhelmed. Waiting 30 minutes for a drink and over an hour for food became the norm. On top of that, it seemed like most people using the pool area were not actual hotel guests since many were not wearing guest wristbands. The pool was overcrowded at all times, making it impossible to relax or enjoy the facilities. Considering the price and reputation of this hotel, the overall experience was extremely disappointing. There are definitely much better hotel options available.

I like the property and location. Tons of potential. The valet is horrible. Over two hours to receive the vehicle at check out. I waited less in Disney lines. They still had the audacity to charge some clients full price after two-plus hour delay to retrieve car.

Demasiada cantidad de personas en las piscinas, colas de horas para que te entreguen el carro en el valet es lo único malo a destacar

From the time my husband and I arrived we had issues. It was Mother’s Day weekend and there was a lot of frustration. The smoke detector beeped a whole day in our room we were there, our cable didn’t work almost the whole time for our stay there, and the valet was horrible. They were extremely slow. I shouldn’t have been charged for valet at all because we didn’t get a true valet experience. This stay was extremely disappointing
- 4/5
Our room was great, spacious and clean, the staff was very kind and helpful, my only complaint is that I wish there were more kid friendly activities. Since the pool closed there was nothing else for the kids to do. Kids club closed at 4:30pm. After the pool closed there was really nothing for the kids to do, we went to the area where they have a few games but that’s about it. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
- 1/5
1 night was more than enough for me not going back to this hotel. Eventhough i cannot complaint regarding the amenities and how beautiful is this place , the staff needs to have better attitude and organization towards clients. We check-put at 11:06 am we stayed at the lobby for 5 hrs with two little girls waiting for the valet parking and get our car. It was unacceptable , what a bad experience . People stayed there for 4 hrs with babies keys got missed a family with a newborn got their car after 4 hrs and what happened? The car run out of battery because the valet parking person let the car on for 2 days.

I have been frequenting this resort for over 10 years and I am a Hilton Honors member. I was at this resort two mothers days ago and enjoyed our stay. Seeing it had just had some improvements and rebranding we thought to utilize some of our available points to staycation this Mother's Day as well. What a disaster. The service, the valet, the amenities, not even close to what they previously were. The hotel booked a wedding, two proms, and had the holiday guests. They clearly did not plan for such a crowd. The valet wait was over an hour to drop off the car and almost two hours to pick it up. Ended up having to uber and missed our dinner reservation. The pool was so crowded no spaces were available to lay down. The beach was full of seaweed and unswimmable. Service by the pool was horrible. Asked three times for ice and water and never received it. Ordered a frozen drink and food and the drink arrived over 30 minutes later melted. The entire floor we stayed on reeked of marijuana and had kids running up and down. Couldn't sleep because of the noise. Mother's Day brunch was so crowded the restaurant offered a discount for people to take it in a bag and eat somewhere else. Truly ruined the Mother's Day weekend.

Beautiful beach front resort
- 2/5
Property is well maintained including rooms. There was so much people that we cannot use the pool or the beach. There is nobody checking wristbands and many did no have one. Felt there wasnt much control or security to control overcrowding. Believe the Valet parking was the worst experience. 1 hour to get in and one to get besides the high cost per night. Not sure if the overcrowdness was this weekend but for sure they lost several clients.

Pool was crazy. SUPER OVER CROWDED!! Valet service super bad, takes very long time and a super line to get the car.
- 4/5
Great pools, beach access, ocean view. But don’t use the valet parking it is better self parking. Valet parking charge you 75$ per night and then you need to wait in line for 1 or 2 hours to get it.

Furthermore, the balcony was in terrible condition and lacked quality seating. The service at the pool area was equally frustrating expecting one staff member to serve hundreds of guests is unrealistic. Consequently, our food was delivered to the wrong table, and we endured a two-hour wait for basic beach snacks. This property has potential, but the guest experience currently fails to meet even basic expectations.

The facilities are beautiful, everything is very clean, and the oceanfront room I rented was absolutely spectacular. Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying the stunning sea view from the balcony made the experience even more special. The staff was attentive and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. I would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Property, Disappointing Service: A Ruined Anniversary / Birthday Trip Start We chose The Diplomat to celebrate our anniversary and my birthday, hoping for the luxury experience we usually find in Miami. Unfortunately, despite the beautiful lobby and room aesthetics, the service and cleanliness were far below 4-star standards. The Issues: Initial Room: Checked in at 11:00 PM to find a broken nightstand outlet/lamp and—more disturbingly—hair in the bathtub. The Manager (Theodore): When I reported the issues, the night manager was dismissive and rude. He moved us to what he claimed was an identical room, but it was actually a downgrade to a parking garage view (and also had hair in the tub). We ended up dragging our luggage back and forth across the resort after midnight. Because our keys stopped working, we were left waiting in the hallway until nearly 1:00 AM while a staff member went to fix them. A gentleman named Jason was the only bright spot; he was professional, sent someone to deep-clean our original bathtub, and comped our breakfast. We didn't get to sleep until nearly 3:00 AM on our first night. While the public areas are stunning and the breakfast was good, the lack of management empathy and the hygiene issues made this a very disappointing stay for a Hilton property. We travel to Florida 2–3 times a year, but we likely won't be returning here.

Great detail to luxury. Best hotel pool I have experienced. Over-priced drinks/food at pool bar. Example: $16 kids hotdog

The hotel itself was beautiful. Valet customer service was great. The outside bar was disgusting when we arrived (there may have been 7-8 people at the bar)and the 2 bartenders that were there were biased toward the single woman at the bar and it took my husband and I quite awhile before being acknowledged. Once the shift change occurred the bartenders coming on cleaned up the bar and reorganzied everything to where it looked and felt cleaner. There were dirty dishes, napkins and glasses everywhere. The straws were being touched by guests along with the fruit and none of it was thrown out. I reserved an OCEAN FRONT room and recieved an Ocean view. I wasn't happy about that and the front desk said there was nothing they could do to assist me with the matter. The balcony was very dirty with minimal seating.

The location is beautiful as well as the hotel Very disappointed with this hotel. The property is extremely noisy and clearly not prepared to handle the volume of guests. The breakfast buffet had lines close to two hours, there were not enough restaurant options, and basic organization seemed lacking. There was also constant strong smoke( not cigarettes ), making it impossible to enjoy the balcony . Getting pool towels required waking up very early, otherwise none were available. To make things worse, one night a drone came very close to our balcony, which felt like a serious privacy concern. This was reported to the hotel the following day.

The property is great because it is right on the beach so no crossing the street or having to take a shuttle to get to the beach. There are two quite large pools as well with plenty of seating. The rooms are nice and pretty clean. The location is quiet for the most part. Food was excellent but overpriced. E.g. $60 for lunch for two with just water to drink. This is going to be a long list. This property is super overpriced for what you got. The service was atrocious except for a few standout stars on the beach and the front desk. Most of the staff needed a huge amount of training. I was met with responses like “oh, if only I had known“ by the spa employee who forgot that I was there too “I don’t know“ when asking employees for directions to certain parts of the hotel. Also mixed responses: some employees jumped to bring us stuff we requested (which is my standard for a resort of this magnitude and price), others were replying with “Oh, you can get that yourself over there”. Food was way overpriced: the main restaurant cost almost $300 for dinner. Lunches about $60 for lunch for two with just water to drink. Every invoice we received had a 20% gratuity added to it. I understand this strategy because a lot of employees just don’t get tipped, especially by foreigners. But it also encourages employees not to work hard because they’re already getting tipped. We had to continually ask our housekeeper for extra towels, toilet paper, cups and coffee pods for the coffee maker, tissue, soap, etc. The spa for the price was atrocious. No one should ever use that spa. It was grungy, and there were black fingerprints around the door handles. One of the showers (there were only two) did not work at all and I received two left crocs when I changed. I can work with bad service but this massage was $250. I can get a much better massage at the mall for $90. The relaxation worm was great except for the magazines on the tables were INDUSTRY magazines for spas. As if I’m a spa owner and here’s all the latest equipment in the industry. Are you kidding me? Did these people not know what magazines are or why people read them??? they forgot me in the relaxation room, and apparently my masseuse never showed up, so they had to call in another person.

- 4/5
We go to Diplomat for the beautiful pool/beach area, the grand lobby, and cool vibe. The rooms are getting a bit dated....bedspreads, carpeting, furniture, could use a refresh soon for a premium place like this. Still it's a great spot for our family for a weekend visit to play.

Excellent stay!
- 5/5
The staff were fantastic! Every person went above & beyond! The bellman we had was exceptional! The very best service I’ve ever had anywhere! The view with the balcony was just breathtaking! I like that they had plenty of towels and pillows. The pools were warm, and beautiful! The room itself should’ve been cleaner as there were crumbs along the side of the bed. And something on the wall in the bathroom. The parking situation is park across the street which is high no in & out or pay valet 65.00 a day.
- 5/5
The staff were all so kind, the entire hotel smells amazing with a signature infused scent. The option of multiple bars, restaurants, and pools makes it so you do not need to leave the resort at all. I love the love greenery throughout the most.
- 5/5
Everything was perfect!
- 3/5
At check-in, we were told we could self-park across the street with in-and-out access. When we returned later, that was not the case, leaving us no choice but to pay $70 per day for valet. It would have been helpful to know that upfront. There was constant nickel and diming. Beach umbrellas were $30, even though they were already set up and had to be removed if not used. Guests were not allowed to sit in beach chairs before 9am. The hot tub was closed, other pools were roped off and sitting unused, and the pools that were open were freezing cold. Our room was nice but not properly cleaned. There were loose peanut M&Ms scattered on the floor in the corner, which was concerning. When I paid cash for a beach drink, gratuity was included but my change was kept without asking. We were also chased down in the lobby over a meal charge that turned out to be staff error, which felt uncomfortable and accusatory. Watching guests be moved for a three-day photo shoot was also distasteful. Overall, the high costs, miscommunication, and unavailable amenities made it hard to feel the stay justified the price.
- 1/5
We were never informed that booking through Expedia meant losing all Hilton Honors benefits. Hilton corporate said they could offer a one-time exception since we weren’t made aware, but it was up to the property. Disappointing lack of transparency. At check-in, the front desk gave a clearly rehearsed push for $75 valet parking. Meanwhile, parking directly across the street was about 40% cheaper—ironically where many employees park. The room was dusty and visibly dirty. We took photos and showed management, but instead of properly addressing it, they tried to offer a small credit. Housekeeping told us they operate on their own schedule and would get to our room when they could. The worst part: we received a letter demanding we come downstairs, and while I went to resolve it, they locked us out of our room—where my daughter was asleep on my wife outside the room. They accused us of “fraud” because they forgot to collect a credit card for incidentals at check-in. Their mistake turned into us being treated like criminals. Again, they tried to smooth it over with a credit instead of taking accountability. Food and beach service were mediocre at best. Extremely disappointing and not the Hilton standard we expect. Would not return.

Beautiful grounds and lobby. The corner king bed high floor had incredible views.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel, friendly employees. We dined in four different restaurants and all the food and service was excellent. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We had an ocean view balcony room.
- 2/5
Not happy because the hot tub isn't working and the pools are not heated at all and everyone keeps saying, "it should be heated, but maybe it's broken." I'm here to tell you, it's broken. It's ice cold. It's February. The amenities is why i decided to pay so much to stay. And espresso is our only option in our room and no way to get normal coffee? Why is that? Most people drink normal coffee. And we upgraded for a better view for $70 a night and now we have to pay $10 a day more for normal coffee. The bridge to cross the street is down so it's more difficult to walk to Publix across the street for some decently priced items. The restaurant prices are extravagant. There is no microwave in the room either. There is no access to a washer and dryer. I was at Margaritaville a few days ago and it had regular coffee, free washer and dryer, robes for everyone in the room, a working hot tub and multiple heated pools. We envied this place when we were in the area 11 years ago for our honeymoon b/c it was so lovely, but we couldn't afford it. Now we can afford the room, there are things not working and a lack of amenities I expected. Save your self frustration & go down the street a little to Margaritaville. It was lovely.

- 1/5
the room cleanliness was unacceptable, basic bathroom supplies were not provided, the room lacked blackout curtains which made it difficult to rest, we were not informed in advance that the big pool will be closed, it was very crowded at the small pool, the outside construction caused noise, smell, dust. Pool manager was very rude. Left early. We expect the respond

Lovely place
- 1/5
After waiting for our room to be ready, housekeeping never gave us towels or soaps, so we waited longer. Again the second day, after housekeeping, we were left with 1 fresh towel. I asked them to bring some up but they never came. Construction left half the resort closed and drilling noise all day. The kids area was closed but they still charge $50 per day resort fee? Beach service was terrible. At times, I had to get our own food and drinks while being charged a 20% non negotiable gratuity fee.
- 2/5
Unfriendly staff, slow service.
- 3/5
Solidly mid. Service was good but not great. Seemed overworked and underpaid. 90% of the pool and outside amenities were closed due to construction and construction noise was heard all down the beach (saws and heavy equipment) from 9am to 8pm. Won’t be back. Not for that price. Room service menu and lack of service was also a major issue.
- 3/5
Nice views. Nice bar and lobby atmosphere. Nice room. Unfortunately lots of renovations and constructions. So noise and no access to advertised amenities. Disappointing in that regard. For a $600 night + $50 parking stay, you would at least expect full amenities access and no constructions noise.
- 5/5
The room was immaculate, and the staff's service was outstanding. The spa experience was truly fantastic.
- 5/5
Good job everyone was very helpful
- 3/5
Very disappointed that we were not notified that only one pool was open and they were under construction. It was very crowded and inconvenient after spending all that money.
- 2/5
Our recent stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing and fell far below expectations. Two of the three pools were closed due to construction, and the bathrooms in that pool area were also closed, requiring guests to walk back into the hotel just to use a restroom. The restaurant by the pool and beach was also under construction. None of these closures were disclosed to us prior to booking or payment, which feels misleading. To make matters worse, we rented a cabana that was located directly across from one of the closed pools. The fruit salad that is supposed to be included with the cabana arrived looking as though it had been dropped, with all the fruit piled to one side. The staff member delivering it showed zero attention to detail and seemed completely indifferent. What struck me as unbelievable is that despite all the pool closures and ongoing construction noise, beach umbrellas were not complimentary. Instead, guests are charged $38 per umbrella. On top of that, our bill included a $49 daily leisure fee. Paying $49 per day plus $38 per umbrella—especially during major construction—makes absolutely no sense. I have stayed at far better properties, including the Ritz-Carlton, where courtesy, professionalism, and attention to detail are standard. Unfortunately, this hotel lacked all of those qualities. Overall, the experience felt sloppy at best. We will absolutely not be staying here again!

There was massive renovation/construction going on at the resort. Half of the facilities were closed and the remaining half (pool beach) were extremely crowded. The resort itself is beautiful and my room was what I desperately needed. I was battling a cold , was offered to upgrade to ocean view w/ balcony. I ended up staying in my room sick the entire stay so it was nice to see and hear the ocean. My only complaint was food and drink prices! All meals I purchased were substandard quality for the exorbitant prices.

Also, a robe in room would be nice and the clean staff should do better job cleaning and folding clothes in the room. They left obvious trash out in the room every day. Will stay again for sure! Lobby bars was great as was pool. The tuna crisp on menu was fabulous!!
- 2/5
Really disappointed!! Lobby dark at night. Bar menu terrible for eating. Pool service terrible. Construction in pool area. Not t enough seating in po area due to construction. Don’t go to this hotel till they get there actually together.

Yes great staff and everything so perf!
- 4/5
The hotel itself was beautiful! Loved the pool area, but half of it was closed for construction, and they were working the whole time, so it was hard to relax even on Saturday and Sunday. The room was beautiful and spacious, but there was some food left in our fridge the first night when we got in. But besides that, everything else was great.
- 4/5
Nice bakery but was a bit pricey.
- 1/5
Room smelled. There were a lot of people there for a convention. I didn’t feel welcome and felt out of place everywhere. I never ate at any restaurants at the resort as they could not accommodate me
- 5/5
Amenities were amazing
- 2/5
The staff were not friendly, pools close early let me correct that one working pool and two visually green pools, they are doing renovations and charging full price. The guys working out front were the highlight everyone else was rude. Puke or someone crapped on the floor stayed for two days. I would not stay again.
- 5/5
Everything was perfect.
- 5/5
Awesome stay!
- 4/5
Great staff service especially Michaela, room is tiny, housekeeping did a really mediocre job cleaning the room. Didn’t even bother to pick up anything off the floor or vacuum daily. Good is way overpriced. Pool was under construction, but the infinity pool was great as well as the beach.
- 3/5
I normally love this property. I come here multiple times per year and never even look for another hotel. BUT right now this is not a resort. 80% of the amenities are closed so no beach front dining only a single pool for a massive hotel. They make sure to still charge you a 49$ resort fee though. Even with practically nothing for it besides the normal over priced food/drinks. I am finally going to have to start looking for another hotel because I am not sure I will be back. I understand construction but to still charge a resort fee and do nothing extra for your guests is surprising to me. Besides the temporary lack of amenities I would recommend this hotel. I have been coming here since 2018 and this is the first time I have been disappointed.
- 1/5
There was construction going on that we didn’t know. The lazy pool was closed. Wouldn’t of booked this one if I had know

View excellent 👌, my corner room was very big and clean. We liked this hotel; we usually don't return to the same places, but this hotel is worth coming back to! We don't like large hotels, but this one is truly impressive without being overwhelming.
- 4/5
Everything was excellent except drinks were to expensive, no optimal and with 20% tip included this tip shouldn’t be included and 20% is a lot on top of expensive drinks.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel, fantastic lounge area, room very modern and clean, very impressed with this property.
- 4/5
Pros: check in was great, breakfast was great. Room and bathroom was comfy and clean. Cons: The balcony needs to be cleaned and the chairs were rusty so couldn’t sit out there. Service at the poolside was very slow and when I tried to get a drink at the bar near the pool instead the attendant didnot acknowledge my presence and continued chit chatting to another customer for over 15 minutes. So I gave up eventually and went back to waiting for over 30 mins for a drink.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel. Under reno, so there is noise on the beach and pool right now, but it is to make it better. I would have liked a 24 hour shop nearby, like a self serve shop even in the resort for when we arrived late am, to grab snacks and drinks. I think the restaurants should have their menus and hours easily visible online so we know what we are getting and when to go.

But more than half of territory was on construction. And nobody warned about this. So they had only one pool open. However, they closed that one pool for 2 days in an row after noon for a private party. All we had it’s (thank you for understanding). It was disappointing.

5th thanksgiving trip in the last 7 years here. The construction was expected but only because of my own research and memory of being blindsided by it last fall. Didn’t bother us and the new main pool has been upgraded big time. Beach and pool time was great and can’t wait to see what the rest of the upgrades look like once complete. Service was mostly solid per usual and we will continue making this our regular thanksgiving spot. One ask, please bring back the oversized variety of donuts in the counterpoint. My 5 year old son talks about them all year and was devastated when they didn’t make them anymore after years of having them. The giant size makes them one of a kind and unique and makes the diplomat “the hotel with the giant donuts.”
- 3/5
We love the Diplomat and look forward to coming back when all amenities are available. We did get services from the spa and had a great experience there. Check in easy and food was good.
- 3/5
The hotel was nice. Would have been nice if we were aware that the largest pool was under construction. Pricey parking tried to get in WiFi you have to pay
- 4/5
Property was nice and staff was courtesy, rooms were also very nice. Only thing was the cost and of everything. Cocktails were priced as high as possible could, parking was ridiculously high, even if you self parked. My guess is that this hotel is on the high end; in a mediocre area.
- 5/5
Great resort!
- 3/5
To nobfailt of thr hotel there was a convention the first 2 days and rhe hotel was packed. Also there was construction on the grounds that limited the pool options to thr main pool only. Otherwise the htel was great its really beautiful and the staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel was righr on the beach and the ocean and beach were beautiful.
- 4/5
However, F&B at the property are way over-priced. 2 drinks, 2 Caesar’s salads with shrimp were $132, including an automatic 20% tip. If you want to grab a water on the coffee shop, you have to go out of your way NOT to leave an 18% tip.

The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable from the moment I arrived. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Yes, it’s a bit on the expensive side—but honestly, it’s worth every dollar for the level of comfort, cleanliness, and service you receive. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommend!

All hot tubs were closed, construction started very early in the morning on the new pool. I would’ve loved to been warned before I booked so that I could’ve changed.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel with all the amenities. I always stay at the Diplomat when I'm in Fort Lauderdale.
- 4/5
Buffet is pricey if dont each much. However, you rack up your bill trying to get things you like individually. Valet was charged even though I didnt have a car. Quick fix.. Only let down is the lazy river was closed and Diplomat Prime was closed on Sundays- the day we were looking for a good place to eat.
- 3/5
Food options are very limited, and guests are required to plan meals according to the hotel’s schedule. Outside of those times, only the deli is available—which is not kid-friendly at all. When I made my reservation, there was no mention that the hotel was undergoing remodeling. This is important information that should be disclosed upfront. Additionally, there are no bathrooms available at the pool, which is a major inconvenience.
- 4/5
To Hilton standards rooms weren’t as clean as I would’ve hoped although they got us in super early for check in.The bar menu was limited and expensive for some pre made food, Drinks were $20 a piece, specialty drinks were more. The attached restaurant was fantastic but expensive which is to be expected down here. The hotel is gorgeous and the pool and amenities are fabulous. Staff were great and very friendly.

Check-in and check-out were quick and easy, and I really appreciated the attention to detail throughout my stay. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better stay — I’ll definitely be returning and recommending this hotel to friends and family!

- 3/5
The parking prices were not necessary. It said in the files that parking is included. I didn’t do valet and you guys charged me for the car parking every night. I need a refund so I can book with you guys again for next time.
- 5/5
This place has everything! We thoroughly enjoyed it! The only negative thing to say is that the bathroom set up is weird; there are wooden blinds that you can open into the room from the bathroom. This is great if you want sunlight in your bathtub, but not great if your family is in the room and you're using the toilet... you can hear and smell it. There's not real privacy. Everything else is fantastic! Including the staff- We loved George at the pool bar.
- 5/5
Yes everything was amazing.
- 5/5
I love the look and smell of this property. The staff was really nice and helpful. I would go back.
- 5/5
Clean room, great staff, excellent amenities and beach access.

- 5/5
It was a great experience
- 5/5
Perfect para disfrutar en familia la renovation está quedando perfecta y lujosa recomendado 100 %
- 5/5
Our high floor ocean view was ona corner and one of the rooms I’ve seen. Room was clean, room features was great. The bathroom was big with shower and a king size bed comfortable. Room location was awesome at a corner of the hotel. Swimming pools were big and spacious although we couldn’t use because one of them was Uber renovation. Check in staff were very friendly and express check out was fast. There was a conference going on so hotel was pack with people I would definitely stay again in the future thanks for the great service
- 5/5
Great stay, would recommend to friends and definitely come back!
- 3/5
and other than so much dirt everywhere from the construction it was ok If i’d known about the hot tub and point royall i surely would have postponed the trip
- 5/5
Beautiful stay. Ocean front balcony felt like a cruise. Parking was costly.
- 5/5
Pleasant staff and gorgeous views
- 5/5
Balcony was amazing!
- 5/5
Clean and professional! I only had an issue with a security guard who was rude to me about having my service dog with me while walking through the pool area- he blocked my way and didn't allow the dog to use rhe restroom causing him to poop in the pool area deck, I cleaned it but it was because he would not allow me to move and continued to ask me if my dog was a service dog though I told him a bunch of times, he also yelled at a guest that was with me but the other security guard resolved the issue and other than that all staff was kind and extremely attentive! The resort is beautiful and it had a great vibe and scene! I would go again but hope to not run into the security who yelled at my guest and dog!
- 5/5
Great location, ocean front room with balcony, enough space, VIP Valet Parking, beach access.
- 4/5
Nice place and location just keep in mind the Hotel is doing now major construction at the pools which result in noise and some discomfort
- 2/5
For the amount you pay it was not worth it. The hotel was under construction it was noisy every morning . The multiple charges they do not tell you about ! Half the amenities were not assessable due to contraction but you still pay for them ! 1 pool for the entire hotel that’s has over 1,000 plus rooms . No gym available. Parking is across the street and still have to pay 50$ a night for it. Same amount you pay for the room you will pay in fees. Will not stay again
- 5/5
Perfect place to end an excellent vacation.
- 5/5
Everything was great ,I had a great time
- 5/5
I made a mistake and booked a double need room and they immediately updated my room for free. Service was excellent and the view was stunning. Had dinner at diplomat prime and it was excellent. I'll definitely be back.
- 3/5
Do not have food options or room service, no water for coffee on rooms. Staff not friendly
- 5/5
Diplomat is a phenomenal Hotel especially the ambiance of the room, only issue I had upon my arrival my room wasn’t set to surprise my fiancé with a bottle of champagne or card but they made up for it the next morning. 🤗
- 4/5
Good stay

- 3/5
When we walked into the room, it had an odor. We walked into the bathroom and saw a waterbug (roach) on the. Bathroom floor. There was blood on the shower wall on the bottom left side . There was a used half toilet roll. We had to request toilet paper and towels. The mini fridge wasn’t working properly; someone had to come fix it. When I called the counter. The front desk lady was rude when I told her what room I was calling from. It felt very exhausting to stay there the first night .
- 5/5
Perfect hotel for family vacation .
- 5/5
I loveddd staying at the diplomat. It was under construction but it was still beautiful and I stayed on the top floor and the views were beautiful.
- 4/5
There were spots on my floor in my room. The tub didn’t seem to be the cleanest. The tablet in the room was not working properly, it had a bad glitch. I would give it an 8/10 . I would stay again.
- 5/5
This was my fourth time staying at the Diplomat during Miami Caribbean Carnival Weekend. I've stayed solo as well as with my daughters. We love it here.

Amazing place
- 4/5
Most of the staff was great
- 4/5
Everything was on point, no notes
- 5/5
The hotel was beautiful, the beach services are great.
- 4/5
Too many fees. Parking expensive. Not much dining on sundays
- 3/5
Pictures were misleading. The hotel has ongoing noisy construction going on and you aren't warned about that prior to booking, the parking situation, if you self park, its $50/night but the connecting bridge is closed therefore you have to cross the dangerous street (also not mentioned at arrival). The pictures show a large jacuzzi tub-misleading, its quite small and only one person fits in it. I had high expectations but I am truly not satisfied, very underwhelming
- 5/5
Excellent hotel, we visited in 2019 and come back now in 2025, they transformed for better all the lobby! We loved
- 5/5
Everything was good except for the construction waking me up at 7am
- 5/5
This place is really nice aesthetically absolutely love love love it will return… however since I’m being asked to survey the property here, it is.. I did not like to have to continue to go to the front desk to get lotion, shower caps they ran out of it.. The gym is nice, the huge planters were nice to look at. The Green sections were eye catching.. The room I believe I paid for the balcony price however I got a window view of the bay. Overall nice place to stay but Vallet prices were ridiculous at $65 w tax each day.
- 5/5
I love it
- 5/5
Nice everything. Staff was wonderful. Thank you for a great place to stay
- 5/5
Loved the ocean view.
- 1/5
Is place is going through a renovation. The pool area is nothing but jack hammers and concrete saws. The lobby is more of the same. Expedia and the diplomat had no mention of any of this. Would not considered this place if I had known a head of time.
- 5/5
friendly staff and great location with beach access.
- 5/5
Great except construction noise
- 5/5
The breakfast was amazing but I didn’t know where the hot tub was I’ll try next time
- 5/5
The place was absolutely amazing

- 5/5
Great staff and great amenities!
- 1/5
Nice views and good location, lobby is beautiful and gift shop is fun
- 5/5
Great place to stay
- 3/5
The hotel is beautiful however we didn't enjoy much they have a construction only one pool was open and crowded, I think expedia should let people know of this. The beach was dirty no one in the water we had to go to the public beach. The only entertainment in the hotel is a bar and pool, restaurant was ok. The rooms are spacious now for the price I was expecting a more modern room especially the balcony furniture is pretty old. Parking wise is horrible $61 a day for valet or $50 self parking.
- 5/5
Excellent experience
- 3/5
Please be aware is currently going through renovations and the access to the beach is not great
- 1/5
The room fire alarm went off 3 times. I showed them at the front desk they were acting surprised until I showed them the VIDEO. Keep receipts because they won’t believe you. After I showed them the video I get resorts fee taken off , I had 2 rooms.
- 1/5
I stayed here literally this week and there were BED BUGS IN MY BED THAT BIT ME UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT! They changed my room & I asked them to come & spray the new room (which they did NOT do) only m to wake up the next morning to ANOTHER FLYING BUG in my second room!!! They treated me like I was a problem and they didn’t give a damn about my concerns especially the manager who is there in the morning who kept claiming “it’s impossible for it to be bugs in two rooms”. They offered me a lousy $100 credit and did NOTHING else about the situation to make me feel at ease! Absolutely disgusting, it’s all pretty on the internet but dirty as hell inside the rooms!
- 5/5
Clean room attentive Staff, gorgeous ocean view
- 4/5
Relaxing stay at this hotel with family. Pool area is nice, however a bit too crowded and with limited chairs available. Elevator out of service due to ongoing renovations. Beautiful hotel regardless, I highly recommend it for adult couples rather than families traveling with children.
- 2/5
The staff were curt and unhelpful. The building was under major construction and very loud. There were rude families running all around, and I was surprised to find it felt more like a Holiday Inn than upscale retreat. I had hoped for a quiet weekend in a lovely place, but it felt like a conference hotel with a cheap pool attached.
- 3/5
The new bar menu is very limited compared to the menu when the pool bar was called Playa. The handle on our balcony was broken off, and there were multiple sharp edges. The shower was very small for the average size adult. Drink prices were out of control expensive! On a positive note, they have a great staff.
- 5/5
Beautiful property and amazing staff.
- 4/5
No hand soap
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
Beautiful Location
- 5/5
Everything was perfect
- 4/5
Do not stay here if you are looking for peace and quiet. One of the hotel pools is under construction which we were not informed about prior to our stay. Whether your at the pool or the beach the construction sounds are there. Overall the hotel is beautiful, location is perfect right on the beach. Staff at the bar were great. Overall food options are small and pretty pricey. What we did order was tasty tho. Pool closed at sunset which was disappointing but the pool bar stays open till 10pm. I would stay here again but definitely not until the construction is finished.
- 5/5
I really enjoyed my stay however I was not aware nor was it written anywhere that the hotel was doing major renovations and that construction/ noise started at 7am. I also found dining options to be limited since the steak house was close both on Sundays and Mondays.
- 4/5
Room was poorly cleaned, housekeeping didn’t want to leave towels. Food, drinks and the ocean view was the best part of the trip.
- 5/5
Best experience ever
- 5/5
Everything was great. Wish the hotel provided more toiletries in the bathroom. Body lotion and sunscreen would have been appreciated. The bathroom included the bare minimum of shampoo, conditioner, body wash and soap. For what you pay, a few extra details would be nice. Also, it would have been nice for the hotel to inform us there is major construction happening at the pool. I was hoping to sit by the pool but there is very limited seating due to the pool renovation. Also, the construction work happening at the pool make the beach/ pool experience extremely noisy. A warning would have been appreciated so I could have gone better equipped (noise cancelling ear plugs, get out to the small pool earlier to find a chair, etc.
- 5/5
The Diplomat was spectacular, which is, of course, what one would expect from a hotel of its caliber. No complaints from me. I thoroughly enjoyed my brief stay.
- 2/5
Their largest and longest pool was out of service and under re-construction I booked the front ocean / pool view without knowing most of the view was under construction. If I knew that prior to booking would have selected a different hotel for our Anniversary trip. There was no indication published about their construction work going on. Very disappointing
- 5/5
Location and views were everything!
- 5/5
Nice and kind staff
- 2/5
Solo funciona un 30% del hotel el otro 70% está en construcción. Solo una piscina funciona
- 2/5
Everything under construction
- 4/5
I will never use expedia again. Too much bs. John
- 5/5
Very nice place for relaxation

We stayed here in November of 2023 and really enjoyed the hotel, staff and amenities. This stay was a total disappointment. Our disappointment started as soon as we arrived at the hotel. No one met our taxi out front, no one opened the car doors for us and no one offered to help us with our luggage (we had just returned from a 9 day cruise so we had 2 large suitcases each and backpacks). We arrived around 10:30 am since we were arriving back in Miami from our cruise. We were told our room wasn’t ready and they had no estimate of when it would be ready since check out is 11 am and check in isn’t until 4 pm. Last year we were offered an upgraded room for an upgraded price so that we could check in right away. No offer of upgrading or downgrading, just sit and wait. We checked our luggage with the bell desk and walked outside to check out the pool & beach. Much to our surprise there was jackhammering and construction going on. The lower level pool was under construction (loud construction on a Saturday). The large bar and outside restaurant were also gone and under construction. So needless to say there were no seats on the pool level except ones that were empty & marked reserved. The pool was very full. We sat in the lobby and waited. Finally around 1:30 we got a text that our room was ready. I asked the lady at the front desk why the construction wasn’t disclosed on Expedia and she said they have no control over 3rd parties. She said it is only listed on their website. I had n
- 2/5
Not a good experience. The front desk personnel needs more training, they had many system issues like the room service app was not displaying the food options only beverages, also they said we needed to provide a new credit card because supposedly the one on file was declined but then the same card went through with no issues when at checkout. They were kind of rude over the phone at the front desk. Also the whole pool area is under construction. They will only bring food with plastic utensils overall a bad experience. I would not recommend staying at this hotel. There are many other better options in the area.
- 5/5
Perfect
- 1/5
They shouldn't have been open and operating during construction it was the most horrible experience I've ever had
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
What a nice vacation we had at this beautiful resort! They had everything there, if we didn’t want to, we didn’t need to leave the hotel as they had everything we needed in there! Awesome staff treated us like king and queen! Would definitely recommend it to anyone! Private beach was super clean!!! We had a great time
- 2/5
We have stayed many times at the Diplomat, but this trip was a disappointment. The hotel is under construction and there was only one pool opened. There was not enough seating around the pool, and the service was terrible. We absolutely love the Diplomat, and wanted to celebrate our daughter's 15th birthday there, but we did not have a good experience and the weekend was ruined.
- 5/5
This property is amazing. The staff is always so nice and accommodating. Realities are excellent. You really don’t need to go off property for anything. But if you do, it’s in an amazing and accessible location.
- 3/5
Ocean view was nice. Except construction work was going on. Also, we couldn’t self park the overpass was under construction as well I was not notified at check in on that I was notified at check in that there was construction on the bottom pool.
- 5/5
Nice
- 3/5
Ocean view was ok
- 5/5
Nice clean
- 3/5
It was under construction one of the pools was closed
- 5/5
We were group of 14 and we had blast
- 5/5
The aesthetics of the property are beautiful. Modern and update features make this resort just stunning. I plan to return and get a full use of the property. Beautiful large pool that leads you right onto the beach.
- 5/5
Never said that the hotel is contruction Limit chair at the pool. Very. Slow food service at the pool.
- 5/5
Wonderful
- 3/5
Construction at the property the entire time which kept me from sleeping. Woke me up everyday including Sunday
- 4/5
The hotel is really nice the food and pool area areas are nice. The price of parking is outrageous. $60 a day, be prepared to pay additional money. Valet parking is $65 a day. Rooms are nice . A little small. Overall the hotel is really nice.
- 1/5
Got set up 100 dolar tip on my receipt after 20 paying 20 percent included
- 1/5
The hotel was in construction one pool was closed not body let me know. The foods and beverages were all really expensive
- 5/5
Very nice hotel.
- 5/5
It's a beautiful resort even though I was there at the construction time but planning to come back when it's done
- 1/5
very upsetting.
- 5/5
Almost every year for couple days we stay at the Diplomat .
- 4/5
The property was beautiful. Very comfortable and clean. They were doing construction work in the front of the hotel and by the pool area but we didn't visit the pool area. We had a problem with our AC in the room, but it was taken care of very quickly.
- 3/5
It was disappointing when we arrived and saw the main pool area closed and under construction along with the front stairs of the lobby. It would’ve been appreciated to have been let know of the construction going on as the whole bottom deck was closed throughout our stay and come to find out it’ll be this way for around 5 more months. Considering it was Labor Day weekend knowing how many people will be vacationing there I believe they should’ve given notice
- 5/5
Good
- 1/5
No advice. No warning at booking or checkin that entire beachside under renovation. Unforgivable
- 1/5
When I booked this hotel, it didn’t mention anywhere on the Expedia website that the property was under construction. The main pool is completely closed off. The steakhouse is closed to get to the beach. You need to walk around all the construction making it very inconvenient. I tried canceling a couple days before, but the hotel denied my cancellation request. The only pool that’s available has no capacity for the amount of guest staying at the hotel. There aren’t enough chairs. There’s not enough space in the pool either the beach chairs were free but they charge you $40 for an umbrella.
- 3/5
THE HOTEL IS BEAUTIFUL, BUT RESORT FEE IS VERY HIGH, $55 PERNINGH AND THEY DO NOT ELL YOU ABOUT THIS THE PARKING IS ALSO EXPENSIVE AND AWAY FROM THE HOTEL. PARKING IS $55 PER DAY WHICH I THINK IT IS EXPENSIVE. I WOUD NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL AGAIN
- 5/5
Love pool and beach area
- 1/5
The property is under construction. The steakhouse remains closed. No information about this was available prior to check in.
- 5/5
Everything was good
- 5/5
Overall I like staying at the Diplomat Beach Resort Hollywood for its location and situated on the beach. Excellent Café. However, the rooms need to be updated, especially the bathrooms. The shower heads are old and the sink does not drain properly. There was a smell the last time I stayed. The bathroom by the pool needs renovations as well. Also, they should advise guests in advance when undergoing renovations. I showed up August 10, 2025, the bridge to self parking was closed for renovations and then 3 days into my trip they decided to just close the pool for renovations. I am giving this feedback to be constructive because I truly enjoy staying at this Hotel, I always do when I am in Florida and I would like to see the Hotel get better.
- 5/5
I love staying here. It really fesls like home.
- 3/5
It was not listed that this property is remodeling. Only (1) pool was open and way too crowded. Also was charged $49 /day resort fee. I thought these fees are all supposed to be disclosed when booking.
- 4/5
nice hotel
- 1/5
Terrible
- 5/5
It’s beautiful I like but expensive everything from food to stay tips are most do with or without your consent
- 4/5
It was an overall good experience. The food and drinks were great and staff provided good customer service. My sister's glasses however were stolen.
- 1/5
Under construction pools, noisy, no resturant for dinner, over priced everything and super rude staff.
- 5/5
Very nice resort and staff’s are nice and friendly, highly recommended.
- 1/5
The entire resort was under construction, they didn’t even contact us to let us know that everything was closed. Flew all the way there to find out. The kids were very disappointed that there was literally nothing to do. The rooms were also filthy. We complained multiple occasions and they did nothing.
- 1/5
I stayed four nights at the Diplomat Hotel in Hollywood, FL and regret every second of it. I paid nearly $2,500 totalbetween room charges, parking, hidden fees, a $1,000 card hold, and a mistaken $250 overcharge that made me miss my flight trying to fix it. The resort is under loud construction, yet I was still charged a $245 resort fee for amenities that didn’t exist. Only one overcrowded pool was open, the beach staff refused to give me a tiny cup of sunscreen because I didn’t rent a cabana, and parking was $50 per night across a dangerous street with cars flying out of the garage ramp. The rooms were plain and unimpressive, nowhere near worth the cost. And the constant noise from construction made it impossible to relax. Honestly, I could’ve gotten a better, quieter, more respectful stay at the Embassy Suites for half the price. This place is all hype and hidden charges. Save your money and go anywhere else.
- 2/5
Hotel is under construction and they didn’t tell us anything about this , the only pool at moment is very small for the size of the hotel. You have to walk a lot to get to the beach area because everything is under construction. The pool close very early and also you have to return the beach lounges like at 6pm also very early after that you have to put all your stuff in the sand. There is a lot more to say about this hotel, in conclusion is very expensive for what you get.
- 5/5
i loved it 10/10 would go back
- 4/5
The hotel is ok
- 5/5
Everything
- 1/5
El hotel está muy caro para lo que ofrecen. La piscina principal y otros sitios en construcción y no lo dejan saber y cobran lo mismo.
- 3/5
Ambiance, bar staff, room view, and cocktails were excellent however, the renovation of the pool and steakhouse along with the extremely long wait times for valet took away from the experience
- 2/5
This hotel is under MAJOR construction. All of the mail pools and outdoor space is off limits. Very noisy construction and not a good time to go. They do not mention this on the website or on the Expedia listing.
- 1/5
Missed flight. First time flying with infant and they wanted to charge me $450 each to change my flight when the tickets were only $350 each
- 5/5
Nice stay would come back
- 5/5
Very classy
- 1/5
There was miscommunication from the beginning. There was no notification of the pool closure before hand staff gave incorrect information each time an issue arose. This was a resort stay the noise was just one problem the pool closure meant only one pool for ALL guests. Made matters worse with construction sounds all day long no supervision of children running amuck. The quiet relaxing stay cation was anything but . Truly very disappointing.
- 1/5
construction at main pool then 2nd pool 3rd day in addition to pool construction now front entrance construction had to make way in and out of bldg through small bell service desk where they couldnt care less not even hold the door open for guests struggling to manuver around small area
- 5/5
I like everything
- 2/5
Property is ok. but the price gouging is insane. The $50 daily resort fee charged at checkout plus $50 for self pay parking across the street added 50% to my trip charge after 5 day stay. Drinks for $25 each and a simple burger and fries for 2 people costing over $100 bucks plus the mandatory 20% tip charge on everything in the hotel make an all inclusive in mexico seem like a bargain.
- 4/5
They loose a star because years ago this hotel was very classy but now they are not it looks like a jungle in the lobby , I grew up in this hotel with my kids and family , I was really disappointed this pass July 2025 how things have change with the day passes.
- 5/5
It’s ok
- 5/5
Bueno
- 4/5
Overly expensive on any items sold there but worth the price overall
- 2/5
Only 2 out of the 5 restaurants advertised available, only 1 outdoor pool, the other was under renovation, no evening or nightly entertainment.
- 5/5
Great
- 1/5
The renovation on the property wasnt mentioned upon booking. Pool access and dining options were super limited and the noise was excessive at the oddest times.
- 5/5
Great
- 1/5
The property is under construction.
- 3/5
The rooms are dated and need a refresh. Especially the lighting. Also TVs.
