    I Went to the office I requested a refund and a woman by the name Karen who assigned the rooms blamed Expedia. This not to mention parking charges not disclosed and not able to find one. We immediately left. Very NEGLIGENT SCARY. experience. Those men could have open the room door in the middle of the night.

    Floors were dirty with a lot of grit; had to wear shoes in room. Air conditioner noisey. Loud bass music outside our window at night, horrible! No hot water for shower. No pool at the Neptune but other HBH vacation rentals had them you could use. View outside door of beach is beautiful. Would not recommend or stay there again.

    We rented the penthouse but when we went to check in a block away under the sun the penthouse was rented to someone else. They offered 2 rooms so we walked again under the sun and the rooms weren’t opening, so we walked back again 2 more times until finally maintenance opened but one room was flooded with water so we walked back again, they gave us another room but the key didn’t work again, so we walked back again and one room was dirty full of trash so we walked back again until finally we got 2 rooms but separate from each other. After buying a lot of groceries the stove didn’t work. The poor lady at the very long check in line was trying but she was completely overwhelmed and alone checking in a very long line with several guests coming back and complaining their keys weren’t working or something was dirty or broken.

    Absolutely nothing. I stay in hotels 100+ days a year. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had. Absolutely everything. The shower didn’t work, the toilet didn’t flush. The office to get the key was half a mile from the property. I called everyday to address the shower and toilet situation, no one came. Honestly the worst experience I could imagine.

    Right on the boardwalk. Older place, run down a bit. A larger block of these hotels are run from the same office (Hollywood Beach hotels) which is off site and very chaotic. Properties really need better care.

    Located right on the broadwalk. The ocean is right there. Door 2415 with a star was our room on the second floor. We could see the ocean from both our windows! The windows needed to be washed, but everything else was great!

    Customer beware. Do not rent here; they practice deceptive marketing techniques that they are 100% aware of (per my conversation with the front desk). I checked in thinking I had an oceanfront room with multiple windows (per the photos/description on Expedia). When I walked into the room, I immediately turned around and went back to the front desk. The room had mold, wood was rotting on kitchen, no rack in oven, towel was stained, bed was dirty, and the list goes on. When I arrived back there was another customer getting rooms changed due to his room being unclean. I explained everything about the room and she said, “no refunds.” I checked out of the hotel immediately and got another room. When I said my room wasn’t as described she said, “our marketing team is aware and has tried calling Expedia.” Then when I mentioned the room wasn’t even oceanfront she said “the hotel is oceanfront.” Then the next day we drove past the Neptune on our bikes and there are pigeons nesting in the roof (hello histoplasmosis).Do not stay at any Hollywood Hotel locations.

    The room had a bedroom with a window overlooking the beach/ocean. The bed was harder than i prefer. The shower pressure was ok. This definitely is more motel feel. Very noisy from cars driving by or people walking on street outside the other window. Location is good. Right on the broadwalk and close to restaurants, shops and the Margaritaville band shell. Staff are not great. Took 1.5 hours to check in and get moved to the correct room after being assigned the wrong room type. Long line up at 4pm. We arrived at 11am after a cruise and were told check in was not til 4pm. Then the rush of 4pm check. Won't stay here ever again.

    The view was gorgeous, but the means of seeing it were ridiculous. The blinds were all broken and a real hassle to open and also the drapes were all on broken rods that fell off and "attacked" us as we tried to close them. Bed was comfortable enough. There were no drawers for clothing, no night stands. The only place to put clothes was a closet with 2 hangers and a door that only opened up enough for us to squeeze through. We put clothing in kitchen cabinets! The only table was the size of a child's desk with very small chairs. The bathroom faucet flooded the bathroom every time you washed your face and absolutely no shelving or space for toiletries. Only toiletries were 2 small soap bars and 2 tiny containers of cream rinse. I tried the one day asking cleaning person for more soap and she apparently did not understand! Broken towel racks, etc. Probably the worst thing of all, and we probably should have reported to Health Department was a very dangerous, old stove. The burners kept going on and we only used one burner once. The knobs were triggered without us even knowing it, probably unknowingly slightly bumping against. We couldn't get the one to turn off and did call and maintenance man came and disabled that one, but others triggered without us realizing it and, as stated before, we didn't even use stove after the first incident. I also found the front desk rude and hard to understand. Definitely lacking even the smallest amenities, even wanted us to pay $5 for ice with no ice cube trays or ice machine available. They also put notes on doors saying they would be doing pest controls that would take 10-15 mins. When l tried to inquire what that entailed, i.e. spraying, etc. to know whether our things needed to be protected, NOBODY was able to answer our question!!! I definitely would not recommend this establishment!

Wouldn’t stay here again and wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

    On check in nobody even bothered to tell us that we need to have crockery not did they offer Tiles in apartment is cracked. You can actually cut yourself. Dishwasher is not working. Stove was not working either. Although they came to fix afterwards. Total waste of money!!! Excessive cleaning fees! No fee parking!!! Milking you for everything. I stayed down the Road for $30 more and no extra fees with parking included!!! Staff is not friendly either! Typical.

    The experience started out with a rude welcome at the front/office. We had just arrived after traveling from Denver to Miami. I needed to confirm that this was the check-in point for our room, several different lodging room entities seem to be managed from the same office. The man behind the counter said we were at the right place for check-in but the room was not ready and we would have to come back at 4pm to do so. Completely understand the rule however the response was delivered in a non welcoming way and seemed we were interrupting their day. My wife needed to use the restroom so I asked if there was one available he said ya up there. My wife went in to find the restroom was marked out of order?? So we left to find a restroom within walking distance. One was found. 2 of a mile away. We spent the afternoon getting familiar with the area and having lunch before returning at 4pm for check-in.     I liked the size of the apartment - small but was roomy and was clean. The bathroom was small, but had a good shower. I liked the breakfast each morning. The refrigerator seal was not good. It would not close unless you slammed it and then it might not stay closed. We found it open a lot.

    After paying in advance for my trip on Expedia, I was charged $50 per day resort fee and told it was for cleaning. The cleaning consisted basically of dropping off new towels everyday. The stove was not functional, drawers in the kitchen were broke, the room appeared overall to be clean. The housekeeping personnel were pleasant. It was very disappointing to have over $200 added to my stay as soon as we arrived. The woman explaining the charge was very unpleasant and vague as to what $50 per day was for as resort charges. Just told me it was probably listed as an additional expense on Expedia and I should have read it. Would not rent from this property group again. The area was pleasant and safe though, so I would rent nearby hotels.

    Breakfast was cereal and bagels, no source of protein. There were tons of ants in the bathroom sink, one of the receptionists was very rude when trying to ask for beach towels when I was sent to the front desk by one of the maids for them. We had our wet clothes from the beach in a bag in the bathroom and the housemaids threw it away. The door was very hard to open and close, it actually had to be slammed to fully close, and the deadbolt did not work. Also the first room they gave us was wrong.

    Location was perfect, parking was easy, I loved the area, very beautiful. I definitely recommend this hotel I don’t know what it is but the staff all have some crazy attitude, rude and dry. I went to the front office asking for a bar of soap and the lady was too lazy to get some so just told me she doesn’t have any with her right now, and told me “I guess you have to buy” with attitude. As we were there another guest walked in asking for utensils and the front desk lady just shook her head no we don’t have I’ll have to go to the kitchen. I guess she felt bad after so she walked to the kitchen which was literally 6 feet away and gave her some. When I was getting the free breakfast too, the lady attending had so much attitude for no reason. No good morning at all, just telling me what to do

    Omg I had the best time for my 24 birthday got accommodated to a apartment when all the suites were taken with out hesitation I was able to grill meat in the back there isn’t a ice station but they do sell. Best spot so many nice add ons like there being 5 different pools bike rentals come at a discounted price I’m from miami and seeing the prices plus all the extras was really welcoming. I was no more than a 2 min walk into the ocean sunsets there unbelievable also had seen old pictures and got freaked out but no everything has been renovated so nice

    While the advertising said breakfast was included, they did not offer it. It was not included and if it was supposed to be they didn't tell you about it. This place was horrible. It's run down. Not maintained well. Not terribly clean and poor service. I would never stay there again.

    check in - standing in line for 45 minutes was not acceptable the group represents many properties in area. all property check in time is 4 pm the line was long and movement was very slow. when paying $300.00 plus for a one night rental I am accustomed to better customer service.

    This is a very dirty, filthy hotel, staff is awful, you can smell mold as soon as you walk in the room, no hot water and when calling front desk, no help and pretty much said deal with it until management comes in the morning, the most disappointing experience ever.

    The Neptune is right on the beachfront. They have lounge chairs that face the beach, which is a big plus. Even though the other hotels are steps away from the beach, this one has a patio space right on the beach side. The room was a surprisingly big size for the rate and I could see the beach from my window. The staff is super helpful and friendly. The parking rate is very reasonable and you can park at any of the HBH marked spaces. The only thing I would change is the mirrored / wood lattice wall in the room.

    Got there late because I missed my flight due to things that were out of my control. Got there at 445 AM and was told I couldn’t check in till 6AM because the system needed updating and I didnt call to let them know I’d be late.     Got there late because I missed my flight due to things that were out of my control. Got there at 445 AM and was told I couldn’t check in till 6AM because the system needed updating and I didnt call to let them know I’d be late. Other than that it was a great location, room was decent but very clean and the staff was friendly. It’s in an ideal location.

Liked this group of hotels well enough to stay twice in 2 different buildings. The price was great. Would definitely stay again.

    Buyer beware! We were charged $55 a day for "cleaning fees" and additional $18 a day for parking. These fees were not disclosed until after we booked the room. Upon arrival, we waited in line for 45 minutes to check in. They advertise that the front desk is open 24/7 and that is not true- not sure what time the office closes but it doesn't open until 8:30 am. The continental breakfast food was fairly nice, but it was presented in a cramped room that bottle-necked and the attendant scolded people for taking more than one of any items. Our room had a kitchen, but you had to go to the front desk to get any dishes, utensils or cookware (and as I said, the wait for that service is ridiculous). There were no "starter" items either- such as a roll of paper towels, dish cloth, any dish soap and most importantly- there is a coffee pot without the usual hotel packaged coffee supplies. The bathroom is so small that you almost hit the toilet with the door. On a good note, the room was clean, without odor and the bed was comfy.

The combination of bleach and mold actually made our eyes swell up and made us feel sick. There was what looked like a bullet hole in one of the cabinets, which was incredibly unsettling. To make matters worse, the door was not locked when we got to our room, which was extremely unsettling since the room is right off a public beach—the key cards didn’t work at all, and the only way to secure the room was with a deadbolt and chain from the inside. After reviewing the room, we promptly turned in our keys and booked another hotel. We were told that nothing was refundable, which was extremely disappointing given the condition of the room. Given the overall filth and smell, I would not trust any food made in this establishment. The entire experience reminded me of something straight out of Bates Motel. Oddly enough, it’s located close to a very nice area, which makes the contrast even more surprising. Save yourself the trouble and stay somewhere else.

    Really enjoyed my stay here. My room was only steps from the boardwalk, with all the dining and shopping you could want, and --magnificent-- views of the Atlantic. Coconut palms on the grounds and a very decent breakfast, lots of good parking options. They were very fast to refund my deposit, was a trouble-free experience. Would absolutely stay there again and recommend it to others!

The building is older and parking is a but inconvenient but if you are here to be right on the boardwalk and ocean this is a great place!

    I’ve been going to the Neptune for over 30 years and I will not return again. Would still like to know what the extra $334 was charged to our account upon arrival.     Unfortunately, I am not able to tell you anything about this hotel because I was not able to access my room because this hotel is not ADA accessible. You have to step up and down to get into the property to get to the rooms and even though I sent an email to the hotel in advance and a message through hotels.com making sure that this hotel was ADA accessible I still showed up and was turned away. They relocated me to one of their other hotels that they own, which was not beach front and the cost difference was approximately $180 for the week and when I brought this to the managers attention, he told me it was not their fault. They had a room ready for me. it’s my fault because I couldn’t get inside. I’ve never in my life have experienced such ADA accessible discrimination in my life. I didn’t even have words to say back to him because the fact that he could say those words out of his mouth just tells me the level of ignorance I was dealing with and being disabled and traveling alone. I just didn’t have it in me Very very sad. I emailed a letter to the owner that I found online and I have not heard back yet I’m hoping for the best and I’m hoping that they can advertise this hotel as non-ADA accessible so others don’t have to experience this as I did.

    A few nice to haves: Each room had a coffee pot but no filters or coffee. When asked about it, it was brushed off. They also didn’t have some of your basics most condos would such as apart towels. We weren’t there to watch tv by any means but when we wanted to in the evening the wifi connection wasn’t great therefore we didn’t watch tv at all. There wasn’t a good place in the bedroom to charge our devices. Our friends stayed in another room and did have a small area on each side of the bed, and their tv had good signal. Our room had central air, however the room our friends stayed in had two window units. They advertised 5 pools, two of which had swim up bars. It wasn't clear as to where those were and how to use/get to them. The free breakfast in the morning was basically toast or a bagel, cereal, and some fruit. All in all, the rooms were clean and well maintained.

    My family of 7 arrived here after a long day of traveling at around 2:30am. When I went to the front desk i immediately knew it wasn’t going To be good based on the facial expressions the gentleman was making when I told him I had two rooms reserved. Long story short, don’t rent their penthouse suite that they describe on their site as “apartment style with two bathrooms and sleeps 7”. When we got to the room, which I paid double the amount of the other room I had which had 2 full beds, we were surprised to find the room had one very small bathroom, and only 2 FULL BEDS! Upset, I hurried back down to the office because he said he closed at 3am, only to get to the bottom of the steps and step in a homeless persons crap! That really set me off. When I get down there, obviously feeling lied to, I told him we need switched into another room so we can go to bed, and he proceeds to tell me I had to wait till 9am when the manager got there. He wouldn’t do anything for me. Needless to say, we left there, I filed a dispute with this place and we stayed at Margaritaville for 4 times the amount of money, but had the best vacation we ever have had. Stay away from this place at all costs!

    Great room right on the beach!! Room lacks in a few amenities but the view of the beach makes up for it. Bathroom has no shelves for belongings. There are no kleenex or papertowels eventhough there is a full kitchen. Staff for the most part is great! Check in staff is friendly and accomodating. Security staff is amazing!     Then we get to our close to the ocean room excited to just be there. It’s so disgusting! No refunds. We wore sandals the entire time and couldn’t use the shower. Literally showered on the beach with the after ocean showers. It was both gross and comical. The location is amazing. And we were trying to figure out how this is possible to run a place this gross; you probably can’t be sober to stay there semi-comfortably. Or can’t be paying $300 a night. Camping would have felt cleaner- and I am not a camper. Go to the Marriott. We almost did for the second night. Just go somewhere else from the start! It’s a beautiful location but this is not where you want to stay.

    Then we get to our close to the ocean room excited to just be there. It’s so disgusting! No refunds. We wore sandals the entire time and couldn’t use the shower. Literally showered on the beach with the after ocean showers. It was both gross and comical. The location is amazing. And we were trying to figure out how this is possible to run a place this gross; you probably can’t be sober to stay there semi-comfortably. Or can’t be paying $300 a night. Camping would have felt cleaner- and I am not a camper. Go to the Marriott. We almost did for the second night. Just go somewhere else from the start! It’s a beautiful location but this is not where you want to stay.

    I was charged a $245 cleaning fee, and the room was never cleaned while we were there. We were at the beach. The floor was covered in sand by the time we left. I won’t be staying there again.

    The property has been around for many years. Some rooms have been upgraded. Our room was ocean front on the boardwalk. Sunrises were amazing which is what we wanted. It had a kitchen but you have to pay for the kitchen "box" to get silverware, plates, pots, etc...we didn't pay but made do with the fridge and microwave. The bed was wonderful and the room was clean. We arrived about 2 pm and the room wasn't ready, check-in is 4 pm. We finally got the room about 6 pm. The other guests had asked to keep the room until 4. Staff was nice and helpful. They went out of their way to see that we were ok. They speak English, Creole, and Spanish. Restaurants and bars are within walking distance. The beach was clean. It drops a bit when walking into the ocean. I still recommend Neptune because it's old Florida to me.

    The room was huge, and the large living room contained a couch and a table. No lights except the one on the fan, no end tables, footstools, chair- nothing. The bedroom has no bedside tables, and a lamp with a broken switch. The bathroom was remodeled by a kindergarten class, with gaps in the shower tiles , no counters for your stuff. The kitchen is not bad, but our microwave was inoperative. The blinds are missing panels, so no real privacy out some of the windows. Housekeeping is the bright side here. In spite of the many broken and unfinished surfaces throughout, the place was clean. The maid came by on day 2 with towels and the offer of clean up, a very pleasant woman. There is a resort fee added at check-in, and out total bill would have put us in the Marriot down the road. This is not as nice as a Motel 6, with premium prices. The beach is right there, and the pools are nice, but be prepared for a different experience in your room.

    The hotel is in a great location but is very poorly managed with many issues. Stayed in one of the penthouses and there was no hot water. The seating area had no place to seat and did not match the pictures. I don't think the floor was ever mopped and was disgusting. No usable internet access and only 1 out of 3 televisions worked. Staff in main office were exceptionally rude.

    Building is in need of repairs and updating but I was on the beach and couldn’t be happier. Will definitely comeback. The king size bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

    The room was not fully completed. We had only 2 beds. Absolutely no other furniture. The bathroom was extra tiny. Nothing in the shower to put soap or shampoo on. No toilet paper roll. We lost water 1 of the days. Overall, very poor conditions.

    The property was dirty and run down. It had a window air conditioner that was load. For the price....almost $400 after cleaning and parking fee. Crazy.... moved down the road. The location was great tho... right across from beach. Hadca kitchenette but had to pay extra for dishes....lol really?? Coffee maker but no coffee. No beach towels but you could check out at tge office for a 20.00 deposit. Never experienced anything like it. Of course, all of the extra fees was not mentioned on website.

    They charge me for beach salt, $20 deposit. They don’t charge everybody just certain people I had to make $100 deposit and I still haven’t received it back. They’re giving me a hard time the little store they have is extremely expensive. It’s not worth buying anything there they do not have an ice machine. You have to buy your own ice When they clean your room they make a new bedsheet and empty the garbage they did not clean my bathroom, the kitchen, the floors or anything.

    Someone stole a tablet out of our room, the staff are rude at the office, there was a roach in the room, no hot water in the bathroom, no coffee, and when you choose 2:00pm late checkout for $45, they knock on the door at 1:55pm and ask why you haven't left yet.

    I was on vacation for a week without any hot water to shower. I made multiple calls and visited the office and they never fixed the hot water issue in the shower. One employee told me the gas line was cut, and there was no hot water in the entire building, and they could not move me to a new room. Another employee told me it was the water pump and I needed to wait longer for the hot water to get to my room. There were times the water would seem warm, but this took the water to be ran for 45 minutes to an hour. It was ridiculous, uncomfortable, and not how you want to shower on vacation. No refund or any help was provided.

    I didn’t receive any instructions on where to check in. Apparently it’s in a different building a mile away. Walked around the property looking for the check in desk and obviously there wasn’t one there but nobody told me. Come to find out it was actually in the email in the extreme fine print at the bottom. While walking around I called the number listed multiple times with no answer. I ended up booking another place to stay. They also would not refund me so now I’m out my money spent for absolutely nothing. Terrible experience and would never recommend. I should have taken the advice from the reviews of others.

    This property is old but they have updated as much as they can. The room was clean. The bed comfy. Would I stay here again? Yes. You get what you pay for. Location was great. Maria at frontcdesk, straight shooter. Loved her. People read the fine print. There are fees when you arrive. No problem, I was aware when I booked. This hotel is part of at least 11 they own in the neighborhood and probably the best. I'll be back.

    The room was outdated. The bathroom door did not close completely. The curtains did not cover the windows completely. The room was at ground level with street traffic directly outside. The night before we were scheduled to check out, after midnight I was woken up by a woman trying to enter the room. When I opened the curtain she looked very startled and told me that the front office told her this was her room. In the morning when I checked out I told the man working in the office. He said “oh sorry about that “.

    We called and found out it was on a different block. They were adament to say no early checkin before 4pm. We did other activities and came back at 4pm to a long line waiting to checkin. We waited in line for 30 minutes wonsering if we should get anther room.... When we got to our room, it was not at all what we expexted. Knowing it was unusually cold, we turned on the heat where tge thermostat sat at 66 all night. The one bed sounded like it had bren supported by a load of empty water bottles. So lound when you lay down or move. The pictures used on the website only slightly resemble reality. If you saw the bathroom we had, it would greatly change your minds. Then there was their "resort" cleaning fee of 50 dollars. I expected a little upcharge, but by the time were all said and done with the night, i could have had a room with tge Marriott just up the way and would have had allot better experience all around.

    Great location but the room needs major updating. Also it was dirty (hairballs on the floor, sticky floor). The bed was very old and uncomfortable. Looked at the reviews before booking and for the price expected it to be in better condition. Glad it was only for one night!

    Terribly rude staff. Super loud nights, didn’t get good sleep. Super old doors that kept getting stuck, and I was locked out of my room several times. It took maintenance long time to fix. Management was careless and staff lied about who was the manager. Also, very deceiving on cost, not worth the ridiculous price, overpriced! The only good things were the kind cleaning ladies and maintenance guy, those were the only nice people.

    Alquile 3 dias para mi cunado que llego de NY y realmente no cubrio para nada las espetativas el bano era miniatura el Toullet no funcionaba bien horrible los armarios parecian de los anos 60 - el espacio de la habitacion si estaba amplio pero no muy limpio. El pago por la noche muy caro para lo que ofrecio las sillas de afuera por seguridad estan amarradas al piso y la grama artificial SUCIA - pense que este hotel era bueno pero realmente NO LO RECOMIENDO NI VOLVERE A RESERVAR - SORRY PERO NO NOS GUSTO....

    Oceanfront as the name says. Nice restaurants on the broad-walk and nice crowd in walkable distance. Cons -- Terrible cleanliness, to start with - 1. The floors are sticky 2. The curtains do not completely cover the windows. So no privacy. 3. The restrooms are bad. 4. There is no hairdryer in the room. 5. Sockets don't work. We had to use just one working plug in the kitchen. If you can afford anything better, please don't book this place.

    Was an awesome stop at the Neptune facility. Happened on it via hotels.com and was pleasantly impressed. The directions couldve been made way more clear on where the front office was located, but that was a minor set back. Nice complimentary breakfast as well. Room and the view were fabulous! Definitely would stay there again.
