We really enjoyed our stay. The location was great for needs and leisure time. The one bedroom suite was clean, cozy and well equipped to feel like home. The pool on site was a plus. The kiddos enjoyed the floates. The check process was easy and fast. John who checked us in was very pleasant and attentive to our needs. We'd definitely recommend and stay again.

I really enjoyed the suite. It was a one bedroom apartment, decorated with modern amenities. It was clean and smelled very nice. The pool was warm and lots of fun. I will definitely stay here on my next trip to Hollywood! 👍❤️

There was a smell of marijuana outside the room. People were smoking it all day by the pool. The second bedroom mattress was hard as a rock. They were doing repairs to the wall outside the master bedroom. They were using a hammerdrill on the concrete wall of our bedroom.

The place was spacious and impeccably clean. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. One of the best places I’ve found in the area hands down. Centrally located near everything. Book early because the place fills up fast due to its excellent quality!

AC worked great. Entire property was very clean and the pool water was comfortable. The staff was great and I would recommend staying at this funky short term rental. The kitchen was especially of benefit. Having a car would have been better on my end but Uber/rideshare worked great here too.

Clean room, great staff, pool was inviting and calm environment. One negative my partner mentioned later was that the safety lock box didn’t work, luckily we didn’t carry things of very high value. Also keep in mind there is no 24/7 room service.

This was our third visit and can't wait to go back. John, Martin & the girls are awsome!

The room was very clean. In fact it's the first thing you notice. The place is kind of retro 1950's and if you drove down Hollywood Blvd., you might not notice the place. The street view is plain. What I didn't like was the swimming pool needs to be resurfaced. But the water is sparkling. Also the a/c in the bedroom rattled . It just needs a little TLC. Highly recommended.

The bed linens are very used, and the blanket had stains, which was not a good experience. The bathroom was also not very clean and needs more attention. On the positive side, the person who received us was very polite and friendly, which made a difference in the service.

It’s a quite clean hotel stay . Management very friendly and attentive. Stayed for a week , took the king bed suite with full kitchen , dinning area, living room , bathroom and bedroom room . They offered me beach towels and beach chair . It was also a great price and close to supermarket and department stores. Good location.

They do keep it up, but I don’t really like to lay with bedding that you can tell everybody else has been using meaning the comforter, etc. I would like to see that changed out and they should just stick to solid white because that cleans well. parking is very limited. I was lucky to get a space out in the front. I think it was because it was a Monday. If I wasn’t you will have to park around the back that seemed incredibly uncomfortable to me coming by myself as a female overall it’s clean and like I said a decent place to lay your head, but if you’re planning on a vacation and you want a nice place to come back and stay this isn’t the situation

This was an absolutely lovely room with a kitchen and everything you need to cook! It was spotless. I did notice that the remote controls were really sticky like they needed to be cleaned and the volume on both TVs did not work. The air conditioning in the front of the room was nice and cool but in the bedroom it was warmer so I suggested they get a ceiling fan to help with the flow of the air. The beds were super comfortable as were the pillows and I would recommend this place to someone that wants something different off the beaten Trail!

Very good value as it always is. Only issue was no HDMI cable in the bedroom for cable viewing. Doesn’t matter we were there for about 9 hours in total. We will be back.

This place was amazing, made a perfect home away from home for my family. Even though its on a busy street, it had privacy from the road. The pool was perfect and kept clean. This will definitely be the place we book for future visits.

This is my fifth or sixth time staying at the May Dee Suites and I manage vacation properties in the Caribbean so I’m probably more critical than other travelers. In my honest opinion, there is no better place. Everything about this facility is top notch and five star. The management and staff are outstanding and will do anything to make your stay pleasant. The rooms, pool and entire property is well kept and impeccably clean. May Dee is highly recommended, and I guarantee, you will not be disappointed. Lots of food and shopping close by also. Thank you once again Marvin, John and the entire staff for a great but much too short visit. See you again soon.

Room was good for a night. Person at the office was very nice upon arrival and departure. The room was clean and partially updated. The bathroom and closet had some mold stains on the ceiling, and shower had it all around the caulk and shower door. AC worked well to keep it cool and most humidity out. Bed really needs to be replaced as mattress was not comfortable. Located on a busy road and very noisy at night. With the combo of the mattress and noise, we got zero sleep. I would not stay here again.

This facility was originally built in the 60’s and it had that vibe, which we thought was great, and the rooms have been remodeled and are very cute and welcoming. The facility is well kept and the staff friendly. I would highly recommend for a hotel slightly away from the highly populated areas of Ft. Lauderdale. Good food still close by and other necessities as well.

Great little spot to hang your hat while visiting the Miami area. Room and amenities are kept immaculately clean. Pool and courtyard are perfect to relax at. Traffic noise from Hollywood Boulevard takes a bit of getting used when out by the pool. But would definitely stay again

Overall, It's a nice place. The room was very clean and both staff members I interacted with were really nice. No military or senior discounts. No modern charging ports of any sort for your electronic devices.,,i.e.,usb port, so make sure you bring a box with your charging cable. Rm #52 is right on the street so it was really loud. That same rm has a water drainage spout just outside of the entry door that makes an god awful noise wgen it's raining hard. It sounds as if someone left a tea kettle on too long or like a loud crackiing noise with no turn off switch. Once I realized the noise was outside of my rm, I knew I was in for a long restless night if it continued raining hard. I wanted to place a towel over it, but, decided against that. The expresso machine in the office is good and pretty fast.

AC worked very well. But the bottom floor where we stayed was not well sound proofed. We could hear the people on the upper level late into the night. There was also a very strong weed smell one of the mornings (likely from one of the other tenants). Place was otherwise clean- just very dated. Staff was nice & check in was in smooth.

Both office managers were great and accomodating. The pool is warm, the facilities are dated but nice, and the place is quiet. We found the staff to be very accommodating and friendly. Our suite was clean and comfortable and included kitchen, bath, living room with couch/tv coffee table, and nicely air conditioned bedroom. It is also conveniently located close to shopping centers and stores if you need anything! For a quiet stay, away from the snowbirds and traffic if you are traveling during the holidays, I’d recommend this place! It also has a nice pool and laundry facility.

Stayed for two nights for a birthday trip and it was okay. Furnishing was rusted. Room was a run down. The tv in the bedroom didn’t work. There was also a noticeable ant problem in the kitchen. For what I booked, the images did not match the room. Would book another place next time.

This was our first time staying here and it's a hidden gem as far as I'm concerned. It's clean, affordable and within a few miles of the casino and Hard Rock stadium. I didn't expect it to be so roomy. They seem like they used to be apartments and our room had a living room, an eat in kitchen and a large bedroom. Everything was clean and quiet, though it is on a busy road and you can here traffic, especially during the day. The bathrooms are a bit dated, but there was nothing lacking and this will be me go to stay next time we come down to the area.

The only problem I had was the bottom of the pool looked dirty to me. Everything else was good. Would stay again.

Our stay was pleasant. The windows need updating, but the overall space was quiet and convenient for why we were in town. We had an issue with the stovetop, and it was fixed immediately. Kind and courteous staff made our stay enjoyable.

Some reviews are right about the noise, it is right next to the major roadway which could get a bit hectic. But it wasn't unbearable and my room is right next to it. The parking was easy, or maybe because I was just 1 night on a Thursday. Luckily I ended up decided to keep my car for extra night. The location is walkable but it wasn't really that convenient. You would still want to keep your car handy just in case. The Room is clean and well keeps but dated. It seems the room is designed for longer stay, it has a full size fridge and induction plate. Everything that you would need and more. The AC is really strong. I mostly keep it off and it felt great still. Also there are a lot of very affordable gas stations around the area. So you don't have to worry about gas before returning the car to the FLL. You have plenty of good options on the way there. Overall I am happy with my stay but for almost $100/night. I guess that's the price for Fort Lauderdale.

Had no time for pool. Everything else was nice, helpful staff, easy parking. Only suggestion would be to fix the vending machine - I really needed a midnight coke:-)

This motel is located directly on Hollywood Blvd, a very busy street. There was constant traffic noise day and night. We did not sleep well. Inside the room, it was comfortable, but not for what we paid per night...

The office person was very good and attentive. She quickly resolved the remote with no batteries and brought sheets and a blanket for the pull out sofa. She was great and resolved the issues.

Came in for a game at Hard Rock stadium and Kaseya Center, also spent a couple days on the beach. Place was a great location for all. Street is a little loud but nothing that effected our time.

Not for late sleepers, as we can hear traffic noise in the morning and people talking - during night the traffic is minimal and people are quite.

The staff was customer service friendly. The property was suitable for our needs catering to a quiet, relaxing and spacious stay.

What a find. This was like a an apartment. It was clean and comfortable. It was a small property, but I loved this better than big hotel chains. Very Clean, beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything you would need. The price was very good. It is walkable to food locations.

The only things I liked were the price and the room’s spaciousness. The facility is very dated but clean. Both the entry and bedroom doors had a step which created a tripping hazard. The bathroom sink faucet was faulty and difficult to open and close. The shower faucet handle was falling off. The bed was extremely hard, noisy, low to the ground and uncomfortable. Outside noise after midnight made it difficult to sleep. People were talking, laughing and appeared to be moving metal furniture outside the bedroom window. The LED lights in the living room lamps flickered and could not be used. I tried to let the front desk person know at the 11AM check out but the office was closed with a note on the door.

The suites are super cute and comfy. Parking was at times a little challenging. It does flood in the neighborhood behind the property so be cautious about which roads you take to get back here.

A cute little “old Florida” place. We arrived almost 3 hours before check-in time but were given our key so we could be on our way to the Miami Hurricanes football game. Front desk staff (Linda??) was so friendly and helpful. So close to Hard Rock Stadium! Will definitely stay here for the next game!

Water pressure in the shower was non existent. Our room faced Hollywood Blvd. And we heard all the traffic. The door needs replacing. You can see light all around it which I m sure contributed to the traffic noise we heard. I do give them an A on cleanliness for the room and property. All in all for $75.00 a night it was ok.

Pool was dirty. This is a motel located on the steet. To noisy from the traffic. Window ac cooler is also to loud when working. For 100 $ you can find a hotel. Even they leave one mini toaletry shampoo bottle for 2 people.

Clean pool area, room has a spacious living room, nice kitchen area with dining table. Bedroom hass king (very firm) bed, roomy space with full length mirror. Walk in closest and a small bathroom, with bathtub shower that seemed a little narrow. Great space, we would 100% recommend this hotel to everyone and would stay here again. Great place to stay for Hardrock Stadium and Hardrock Casino.

This is our 5th or 6th time staying at May Dee Suites. Our family loves this place. It’s so cozy and spacious enough for our family 6. The “home away from home” feel is what we need with the full kitchen,living room and extra bedroom. I wish the beds were a little more comfortable and the water pressure was stronger but nothing that is exactly a deal breaker. We really enjoy the smaller property. We went to the pool and the guy working in the office brought us pool towels immediately without us asking for them. Things like that may seem small or irrelevant to some but those are the things that make it worth it to us. The price is AMAZING!!! We get a full two bedroom apartment with a couch that turns out into a bed,a full kitchen with a dining table for a price less than one hotel room. This is the first place I look for when we make a trip to Hollywood for our visits to family or any event we go to in that part of Florida which is often. We absolutely love this place. It really is our home away from home.

Beautiful large room actually a full apartment cookware furniture full size kitchen full size stove coffee maker toaster everything you could want. Our TV stopped working one of two TVs and they replaced it within 1 hour. Staff was very friendly and we enjoyed our stay so much we're going to come back and always stay at the same place.

Our first time in Miami, came for a concert so wanted to stay close to the Hard Rock stadium & a place where kids could have their own space. It’s older but the property was very clean and well kept. Staff was nice and helpful. Our room was super clean, bed was really comfortable and the air conditioning worked great. Parking is in an alley but close and free, we had no issues. Convenient to anything you need.10 minutes to Hollywood beach. Bout 30 minutes to South Beach. Would definitely stay again next time I’m in the area & not wanting to stay on the Beach.

MayDee Suites is truly a hidden gem. Free parking, friendly staff and cold air conditioning are just some bonuses. Close to beaches, shopping and restaurants, so it's a great value. I highly recommend this place.

This is definitely a hidden gem, the owners have done an amazing job renovating each room, the managers were quick to respond to my texts, my husband was having a cancer surgery at HCA adventura and they allowed me to check in at 11:00 because we were switching hotels and had food that needed to be refrigerated, they allowed me to use the key to the laundry since I was not back to the hotel until after it was locked, the apartment was fully stocked with everything me needed to cook full meals, and it was very relaxing and quiet, the apartment was spotless and beds were very comfortable. I absolutely recommend this place it is much more than a hotel room it is a fully stocked apartment. Thank you for a relaxing home away from home when my daughter and I needed it most!!
