This was our first time to stay at margaritaville Resort in Hollywood Florida. Super family friendly resort with everything you need close by and within walking distance. The staff was great, David and Sandra were so friendly and made the stay so much more enjoyable. Very helpful and accommodating to our whole family. The resort’s pool and dining options were great! So many places to eat within walking distance too. Rocco’s pizza, Nicks, Broadwalk Restaurant were a few places we ate at and they were all amazing! Live music every evening 7-9 pm at the Hollywood theatre was such a vibe. So many ice cream and souvenir shops within 1-3 min walking distance. Great place for family travel! Nice and relaxing!

Our latest trip to Hollywood Margaritaville started out pretty rough. We got there Sunday 5/17 and told the lady at the counter that we were going to the adult pool as soon as we got to our room and somewhat organized. We had to wait for our room to finish up being cleaned and inspected for over an hour. When we got in our room, it had not been either of those things! There were crumbs on both nightstands, the desk chair looked like someone dropped a piece of pizza on it and most of the sauce was still on the chair along with crust crumbs and there was what looked like coffee spilled beside the bed that had not been cleaned. After getting cleaning back up to take care of these things, We went down to the adult pool floor and they were closing the pool for a private event. The lady at the counter never mentioned this during check-in and the fact that the pool was closing for a private event that paying guests had to work around on the weekend is ridiculous. There was another private event that closed the kids pool and Landshark for most of the day and night later that week. This has not happened before and we had a lovely time besides these issues, But, these private events need communicated to guested prior to their stay and the cleaning issues need addressed.

Our stay was awesome. The only downfall was the seaweed on the ocean shore which made it difficult to enjoy the beach. However, the pools were enjoyable enough.

The only downfall for us was that one of the balcony doors didn’t lock and with toddlers you know it’s a struggle of making sure they are safe at all times. Shower leaked water which made the pressure of water low….. Parking should be better explained….. I was told $10 for self parking but it actually wasn’t true…. We found out at checkout. At the Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort, overnight self-parking in the resort garage is $53 per night. T Margaritaville Holly... +1 Day visitor self-parking rates in the garage generally cap at $43 to $53 for a full day, though they fluctuate based on whether you are visiting on a weekday or weekend. © Parkopedia Parking +1 Overnight guests also have the option to use valet parking, which costs $60 per night (plus taxes).

Property was amazing. You definitely have vacation vibes when you walk in the front door. Everything was clean and staff was friendly. Best location on Hollywood Beach. The only item that could have been better is the shower. It needed more water pressure and half the shower was not in use. Perhaps a rainfall shower from the ceiling would be better. Other than that it was a great stay with awesome amenities.

The vibe at this resort is spot on! Everyone is friendly, the décor perfectly fits the theme, the rooms are clean and modern, and the staff at the hotel, restaurants, gift shop, and coffee shop are all top-tier. The live music every night was such a fun touch and really added to the atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

Way over priced and quaintly was substandard , drinks overpriced small cups full of ice and little drink at high prices , trying to use margaritaville name to price gouge!! Word never stay again was very disappointed and when you eat at there restaurants service was blah at best .

Everything was good I can’t complain. The staff were amazing and everyone was so friendly. I went on a busy weekend so they did run out of beach towels but that was fine for me and even with that it was only a 20 minute wait until the towels were ready. The check in and check out was seamless, valet kept my vehicle up front and I loved that. I will definitely stay here again.

The Hotel and the Beach was very busy, since the Hotel management let all public access to the Hotel, Restaurants and especially letting all public park in the Hotel, so we had to look hard for parking. The Board walk front of the Hotel was very busy. I will NOT return to this Hotel nor to this area.

At both the margaritaville restaurant and the landshark, I had to ask for a server, we waited at the table for 10+ mins before I asked for a server to get us drinks and food. After food was brought there was no server to check in and see how everything was etc, had to go to bartender to ask for the check. Both restaurants had this issue. JWB was incredible!!!

The restaurants were terrific, beach was wonderful, the spa was relaxing. Pools were perfect, only wish they were open later than 8pm. Staff was friendly & accommodating.

I liked that there were two pools, plus a hot tub, and that it was on the beach. I liked that beach chairs were included in our resort fee but they did not have enough available. I liked that it was also on the boardwalk and right next to the amphitheater. Pool chairs were hard to come by. There should be a reservation system. I didn’t need a whole cabana.

Great vacation

Steps from the beach, multiple pools, and the boardwalk always had something going on. The staff was friendly throughout and when we had an issue with a broken shower head spraying all over the bathroom, they sent someone up right away and credited our account without us having to fight for it. That kind of service makes a difference. The kids had a blast, there was never a shortage of things to do and the in dining food was great. We would absolutely come back.

It was very loud there. Tried to eat at landshark. There was a band, music in the restaurant, the pool waterfall, and surf wave thing all around. It made it very difficult to have a conversation. The pool was nice until later in the afternoon when everyone was drinking and it felt like spring break. Took my kids back to the room at that point. The water slide stairs are all rusty and chipping. Gave me a cheap motel vibe at triple the price. We had a small balcony with no chairs. I would say it was just ok. I wouldn’t go back.

My second time here. Came back due to a great first experience. First off, cleanliness. Second, everything you need is right there. Third, the food is good. Plan to be back next year!

The property is beautiful and you can not beat the beach chairs. The only thing I took a star away for is property outside is smaller than advertised and the multiple restaurants all had almost the same menu.

We had a three night stay in an ocean view room. We requested a refrigerator, it was never delivered. We requested water bottles that were supposed to be in the room, it took 30 minutes and a phone call to housekeeping to get water. Lighting in the bathroom was poor, the blackout shades didn't close, etc. The amenities are fantastic though with three pools, a hot tub and being right on Hollywood Boulevard and beach. The staff in the restaurants were also first class. Overall, overpriced.

Properties very dated & the staff is not very knowledgeable about their own policies.

If you go with a pickup the Valet will try to upsale you leaving it at the front for extra $49 saying it’s too big to fit in the parking, go inside and get a self parking card, and park it yourself, there is plenty of space.

This was a great place to stay. It was the center for activity on the boardwalk . There was a lot offered to do at property and on beach. It was very clean. The staff was also very nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

We was charged $700 for night for one bed, and nothing include, hotel charge $65 more for day, she said this is fee for pool and for the beach and for water, we showered inside our room, and nobody let us know before when we pay the ticket and when we do check-in. Inside the room, it’s not clean. And hotel charge $70 more for day to park in the car inside. Bad experience with them.

It was perfect but be prepared that everything has a resort fee for food.

Horrible stay! Left a day earlier. The room I received was used and not cleaned. The pillows had the shape of the head from being used and wet towel hanging from the a chair. They gave me a new room. The hotel overall was dirty, all the hallway carpet had large stains, dirt in every corner, the lobby was extremely dirty including sofas, ball of hair/dust in every corner. Horrible, I’m never coming back!

Room was clean and well kept. The pool was particularly busy (during spring break) and there weren’t enough chairs / cabanas for resort guests even though they were still selling in resort pass and giving out day passes. Drinks were great, food was eh. A solid stay.

The staff overall really added a nice touch to our stay. They all seemed to care about the guests and getting all to have a good experience. The resort is really clean, the housekeeping service does attend to the rooms, lobbies, and hallways all day long. Housekeeping staff were so sweet and attentive. Location allows all to explore with in walking distance. Plenty of options to eat at the resort or walk about too. The drink prices are steep but super convenient and bar staff are accommodating. Beds are really comfortable. Bathrooms are a great layout. The hotel smells like paradise, a wonderful touch. The music playing throughout the resort was on brand, offered great variety, created a vibe. Wristband hotel keys, such a great idea. The decor is on brand and really makes the experience. Airconditioning was working. The resort seems like it was recently renovated. We really liked the whole wife.

Location is very convenient with everything within walking distance!! The prices are ridiculous after already paying for a room! Seems like those staying in hotel should get everything they buy at a discount price once checked in.. for the price it should be all inclusive ?‍♀️

The in house steak&seafood restaurant was very good and the service was great. My only suggestion would be since there is a dedicated kids pool maybe those under 16 should not be in the pool by the bar. There was a lot of jumping and splashing and I was hit by balls they were throwing around twice.

Margaritaville was a beautiful resort with a wonderful location. Check-in experience was excellent. We were greeted promptly by the Bell team who took our bags. Even though we arrived at 8:00 a.m. on the day of our arrival. The front desk got signed in and gave us an accurate estimate of when our room would be ready. We rented a cabana which was a absolutely fantastic luxury for the day and gave us a great home base while we awaited our room. We also went out to the beach which was a beautiful beach and were provided two complimentary chairs and an umbrella. Our room was upgraded without us even asking to a beautiful one bedroom suite with oceanfront views. It was literally one of the nicest rooms I've ever stayed in. We ate all of our meals at the resort, at the Landshark while at the pool and at Margaritaville for dinner and all the food was excellent. The pool facilities were beautiful and we had a great day there. We would definitely stay there again. The resort, while on the pricier side, was well worth it and felt luxurious. We would travel here specifically to stay at this resort again.

The negative: There were lots of guests. I felt overwhelmed sometimes. Long lines at the coffee place. I didn’t even go to the all ages pool because they were always busy. Also there were lines to take the elevator. The cleaning crew would come at the end of the day to clean the room, sometimes at 5 pm. The pressure with the water in the shower was very weak. I guess they didn’t want you to stay too long in the shower.

Nice access to the rooftop pool/bar and view of ocean unfortunately the weather was chilly while we were there so not much else to do

It was ok!!

Very expensive for a busy outdated resort. $50 daily resort fee but you can’t even find a chair at the pool. They conveniently put a $24.99 stuffed parrot in the room that no kid is going to ignore. Entire lobby was full of teenagers not staying at the hotel that the police eventually escorted out. Best part of the whole place is le tub across the street where I recommend you get your burger.

The property is conveniently located by the beach. The pool area closes at 6pm which was very disappointing to us, the staff kept pushing people out of the pool when there was still daylight, never experienced this in another resort.

The property is beautiful but two things that made the whole stay suck. You have to pay for parking regardless if you have a room at the hotel or not, the second thing is that the pools close at 7 pm … for crying out loud, this is a resort .

Gorgeous Oceanside view overlooking the beautiful sandy beach. Wish they’d put a microwave in their rooms, as it would be nice to have a way to reheat a meal. The staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay.

The pool area is beautiful and the property is steps from the beach. They offer 2 chairs and umbrella which comes with the room so it’s ideal.

The room was very clean, staff was wonderful, the pool area and resort experience there was excellent! I love how it's right on the boardwalk with many restraunts and shops. The stage and entertainment was great too!

It was definitely happening a the Margaritaville Hotel. Every thing was great. the North Elevator seemed really busy all the time, people having to wait in line to get on the elevator was kind of annoying

Line at coffee shop, Price of rooms and drinks, [handicapped accessibility features, no grab bars in toilet area or shelf/ table or hooks to put clothes on. No grab bars in shower area, No automatic door for room,] Toilet area in general looked like a bare outhouse vibe. Needs Hooks to hang wet clothes and love... No adult only hot tub or indoor hot tub, BIRDS SWOOPING and pooping IN THE POOL AREA!!!. It really ruined my experience in pool. stressing me to the point I had to leave. My husband was pooped on twice!

Staff is exceptional! When I arrived, there was a ticking noise in my ceiling fan. I mentioned it to the front desk and it was immediately taken care of. Room was cleaned each morning and my balcony faced the sun so it was just lovely! I will be returning next year too!

Amazing location right off Hollywood Beach Boardwalk and so many shops and restaurants on site as well as on the boardwalk. Heated pools, one hot tub, exercise room, and spa w/ massage and other services on site. We so loved our stay here during the cold weather, we would love to come back later for free beach service, ect.

Room was great, hotel nice, clean. Balcony nice. We needed a rollaway bed and the guy who brought it was awesome. He asked if we needed a fridge too because they only had a beverage cooler in room and we stayed multiple nights. Very nice. We used to love this location. Decline in cleanliness and maintenance. Have stayed at this location on 5 occasions. This was a disappointing stay. Carpets were stained badly, ceiling fan screech noise, failure to service room in middle of our stay. Shower flooding and sink drain broken. Asked to speak with manager after our room was not serviced, they directed desk personnel to handle my complaint. A credit for 1 day resort fee was issued. Not professional. The valet fees were increased now to over $60 per day. Excessive on top of all the other fees.

The hotel was clean a the staff was helpful . The only issues was the bathroom the shower head was broken a the toilet kept backing up . So not a good experience.

Paid for full ocean view room and put in a partial ocean view room. This room included a view of the rooftop pool of the nearby nude hotel. Was not expecting to see a view of naked people.

The room had stains all over the carpet, dirty in the toilet area and a little outdated room.

The position of the hotel is perfect and I have appreciated the kindness of the staff at the reception and restaurants. We had some problems with the cleaning of the room which we had to request daily because it was not done. Suggestion: a breakfast buffet option will be preferrable because with kids the breakfast with menu a la carte is a little bit complicated.

The staff were amazing! They were very helpful and kind. The rooms were gorgeous and clean. On the downside,They were doing some kind of cleaning/Reno to the hotel. Extremely noisy. The main pool was closed for two days. It’s 5 o’clock somewhere was closed Monday and Tuesday.

One of the nicest resorts we've stayed at either for couples (any age) or families! So much to do right around hotel. 3 pools (one adult only on 11th floor with own bar and huge patio overlooking ocean). Highly recommend the JWB steak house at Resort. Rooms and lobby are beautiful and employees are amazing and happy and friendly. Will absolutely go back to this Resort.

Nice that room was ready before checkin. Cleaning staff came really late in day, so we only had them clean completely once. We need to get in and shower. Sink was not emptying, phone did not work, bathroom makeup light need battery change. We needed toilet paper. They came when called to do all those things but would think we should bot have to. Our balcony was very loud as the pool maintenance and bush/tree trimming started at 8am. Could not enjoy balcony like we had planned. Will not return nor will i recommend. Not for the price we paid per night!

Water pressure was lack luster. The staff was friendly but lacked consistent training. It’s sad that other staff members on property know not to send guests back to the front desk because they are not helpful. The ac was not great and our fan was spinning backwards. Property is well kept and has great amenities! Despite some of the negative feedback we would come back. It would just be nice to see staff who gave the same answers and didn’t leave guests walking in circles or looking for the same answer from multiple staff members! Shout out to Rosa and Norene! Both servers made our dining experience great fun! There was an older lady waitress at Landshark who was super helpful!

Wonderful staff, clean hotel and clean room. Several options for food in hotel and nearby. Our main complaint is the hotel pools close at dusk. We arrived late from our flight and due pool closing time, we only had an hour to enjoy the pools - actually more like half an hour since there were no pool towels available at the towel area and we had to ask 3 different hotel staff until someone could locate beach towels for us. It would be nice if they would keep at least 1 pool open until later in the evening.

This resort was perfect! The staff were so accommodating and professional. They would always go above and beyond to make sure our experience was the best. The rooms and hotel itself was very clean at all times. The food at their restaurants was delicious! The live entertainment nightly always gave us something to do. This was our second time at this hotel and overall a good experience! Whoever is taking care of their cleaning is really slacking! The bathrooms in lobby area were filthy and hair all over sinks and floors and walls looked very dirty! Our room was okay pretty small! And I felt like the rooms were also not very clean either! The pool was good except for a family that rented out a cabana blasting Spanish music which they were never asked to turn down! And it says no speakers but that obviously wasn’t enforced so that ruined the pool area for a while! The land shark bar food and drinks ware pretty good!

My only complaints are: on day 1 they had to vacuum water off the balcony. There was some kind of leak. Once they vacuumed it, I didn’t have any other issues with that area. The other issue was that on day one, they forgot to come and provide cleaning to the room. When I called, they sent someone up swiftly and she was great. I tipped her nicely so she wouldn’t forget to come again while I was there! lol. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. We had a one bedroom suite. He stayed on the pullout in the living room area, which gave us some privacy to retire to our own activities at night. I would definitely go back!

I didn’t go !! Because it was raining a lot that weekend , there was a tropical storm , and you guys didn’t want to change it for another date ! Really unfair ..

Overall, the hotel offered a pleasant stay with a variety of great food options and well-maintained amenities that made the experience comfortable and enjoyable. However, one drawback was an issue with housekeeping: on the day scheduled for sheet changes, the room was not serviced, and by 6 PM we had to call the concierge to request assistance. It ultimately took another call and about half an hour before housekeeping arrived, which was disappointing compared to the otherwise high standard of service. Despite this inconvenience, the rest of the stay was positive.

The resort’s location is perfect, with direct access to the beach and a scenic bike path right outside. Complimentary bikes are available at the activity center. Rooms are clean, spacious, and well-equipped with a mini fridge and a Keurig coffee machine. The staff was ok, could be better. Some of the staff were not very pleasant, they need to smile more.

We enjoyed the deck in the early morning and nights. The bathroom is also spacious with a walk in shower. No complaints here, everyone was very friendly and welcoming!

My family enjoyed our stay. The beach and pool are very convenient without a far walk. Our 3 year old loved the pool with the slide. The restaurants were fantastic in the hotel. All staff and even guests were very nice. It was a fun time.

The stay is absolutely not worth the price. In addition to the cost of the room, you pay a $45 a day resort fee in addition to $53 a day for parking. Price of everything includes a quiet pool, a crowded kids pool, a 21 and up pool, 1 hour of complimentary bike ride that closes at 4:30pm, 2 beach chairs and umbrella. The beach was GROSS, the sand area for the private beach was not cleaned or maintained and trash was just thrown on the ground. You have to swim through about 10 feet of THICK seaweed in order to get to clear water. The young man working the beach said the worst time to come to that beach is June through September. This is not a place I would ever recommend to anyone. All the workers we interacted with were extremely friendly, that was one plus for this establishment.

I was charged $58 per night to park. There was no prior indication of this exorbitant fee prior to making the reservation. Everything in the hotel had a fee. The pool was dirty and hot. The beach was filthy and full of sargassum. There were restrictions and limitations on use of everything. The rating of the hotel is not deserving or warranted. Choose another location. Food was poor and choices limited.

I like the pool on 11th floor, and friendly helpful staff. I highly disliked the room bathroom lack of privacy. Sliding door on restroom was extremely inconvenient an lacked privacy.

I went to front desk 3 times to check if it was ready had a meeting couldn't freshen up before it! Begged practically. For the amount of money spent it was ridiculous the room wasnt ready until 4. I live on the east coast only stayed one night so checkout 11:00 and boy they wanted to know when I was checking out! The woman btw at the front desk wasnt very or at all trying to accomodate me.15 hour stay 700$ I asked for a late checkout 3 times left a VM at front desk "no reply"

Family Vacation was wonderful with access to pool and beach just steps away. Adults rooftop pool provided some quiet time from the hustle and bustle of the broad walk.
