This place is right on the boardwalk and has beautiful beach views from the terrace. It's a nice getaway.

Great stay at a good location on the beach. Great view from the balcony and hardly any walking distance to stores and restaurants. I will return.

Rooms are on the second floor (only) with only staircase access. Beneath the rooms are several businesses. Ours, unfortunately was above a late night bar/restaurant. Was a bit noisy when we went to bed. Shower was nice, towels and toiletries great (including beach towels). Really nothing in the kitchen except some ice. It had both a drip coffee maker and a toaster, but no condiments or coffee. The outdoor patio overlooked the beach was nice. It was a short walk out onto the beach, which was groomed every morning and had lifeguards on duty. Could also rent loungers and umbrella @ $20/piece. A bit of a seaweed problem the day we were there. Tends to be seasonal but was unsightly and gross to walk through. More beach guests than swimmers. The locals around the hotel were a bit concerning, but you could tell the folks who vacationed or wintered in the area.

​If you’re looking for a great spot right by Hollywood Beach, La Terrace is it. Our room was spacious, spotless, and offered an absolutely amazing view of the beach. ​A huge plus for us was the small kitchen inside the room. Having that setup made it so easy to cook breakfast every single morning, which saved us time and money. Between the view, the cleanliness, and the convenience of the room layout, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely come back!

The location is great. Many restaurants and bars nearby as well as steps from the beach. This is an old hotel that has been well maintained. It has a large second story patio that overlooks the broadwalk and the beach. Enjoyed our stay.

Nice property across the boardwalk from the beach..Clean. They do provide beach chairs & towels, which is nice. There is a playground at 1 end(near rooms 212-215) and the motel sits atop a strip of busy reataurant/shops. There was music 1 night but that didn't bother me because I went down & danced. This could be a problem for some trying to sleep. I would give a 3.5-/5 stars..Not your typical higher-end hotel but I'd return and recommend!. In the description, it should be noted which rooms are near the playground & public bathrooms so travelers can make an informed decision.

You are in a place with a great view of the sea! excellent. The rooms are spacious but it's time for a renovation! The exteriors are not very pleasant, there are many animals (there is a large pest that enters the rooms) if you are one of those who wake up because a fly passes by, DO NOT GO TO THIS HOYEL! There is a lot of external noise that didn't affect me, but it did affect my husband! What if I return to this hotel? Hmm, I would think twice, especially because of the stench of animals outside the rooms. They haven't worried about that and it's really uncomfortable. Parking is ok! Tha person clean room very good!

Perfect location! Store ice cream shop and restaurant for breakfast lunch and dinner right underneath us. Walkable to tons of restaurants and shopa. Key card needed to get up the stairs which is an wonderful security feature. The deck was perfect for lounging and people watching. They had beach chairs and beach towels to use. Room was very spacious. Kitchen had cooking utensils and salt and pepper. Will definitely stay again!

We absolutely love LeTerrace. The terrace construction is complete and it looks awesome! Perfect location on the Broadwalk, beautiful oceanfront view! Our 5th time here and will continue every year. There are 22 steps to get to the rooms. Once you get your luggage up your stay will be perfect!

Washer and dryer shared wall with my room - ugh :( Uber drop and pick up easy about $20 to/from airport. Stop at publix grocery on your way - too far to walk. Beach maintained but cannot see through water and a bit rough. Great gift shops and lots of restaurants! Susan H

Room is basically furnished with super comfortable beds and super clean sheets. The blanket is dated a little. Good size fridge and microwave and everything you need to prepare a meal on a gas oven. The views of the sea was super lovely Quiet room The housekeeper is super lovely and helpful with replacing towels regularly and helping us feel comfortable. Room is super clean and a lucky find after we had left another hotel nearby. Dampness and mold is a problem in Florida - not at this resort. Exceptionally clean ! We found the aircon heat from downstairs came through the bathroom window. So keep it shut. Aircon in the room is enough.

Everything was great for us. The proximity to the beach was unbeatable and the terrace was so nice in the mornings. Our room was clean and the housekeeper was friendly and attentive to our needs. They let us check in four hours early which allowed us to enjoy the beach even more. Provision of beach towels and chairs was also appreciated. So close to restaurants, stores, and etc. We will stay again, if we come to Hollywood Beach.

Location just by the ocean Property is simply not take care of, windows must have not been washed in ages Charges by the bed don't work Shower has it's own mind Air con is loud Next door and I mean next door restaurant is open until 1am Monday Friday and on weekends 2am, they do blast music. Right above and next to a couple restaurants/bars that played quite loud music. They did stop around 11:00 so wasn't terrible. Rooms were somewhat soundproof but we could still hear the music and vibrations.

This was perfect for what we needed. The kitchenette came with all needed utensils etc. This is a great location. Most importantly, it was clean (no roaches) and I felt safe.

Had a wonderful getaway right on the beach.

Room partially overlooked the beach but window hadn't been cleaned recently so couldn't see much. Children's playground and public toilets were right outside our room. Room is over a very popular restaurant and they play loud music on the weekends until after midnight. The terrace was nice with great view of the beach and boardwalk. Staff leave at 5pm so if you have a late arrival make arrangements ahead of time for check in.

La Terrace has undergone a major renovation and improved the rooms and property. New beds and furniture and a complete overhaul of "The Terrace" make this a very good value along with the location on the Broadwalk. Management was outstanding and we enjoyed our stay.

Very clean and we maintained. The cleaning lady does an excellent job. Very accommodating when we changed rooms to stay longer.

Clean room, NO ELEVATOR, POOL, or private balcony. Stairs are steep. On the boardwalk, loud music after midnight.

Very good area and clean rooms! The terrace on the second floor and the view was a nice bonus. The only complaint is that the beds were very hard and uncomfortable.

The location is also a bonus! Lots to do and see and you are right across from the beach. But the room was definitely a 1 star. Don’t let the pictures fool you! It felt dirty, I didn’t even want to use the shower. The beds were terrible and the pillows felt like they came off of a patio chair. I’m not even kidding! Flat and hard. Also, no elevators what so ever. So be prepared to carry your bags up the stairs that are located outside of the establishment.

Right on seafront, best location. We had ocean front but windows were to dirty to see out of. Room was clean, shower was big. Kitchen well equipped but minimal, especially if you stay for more than1 night.

We loved this place! I was a little weary about staying at a motel, but it was perfect! The terrace was better than any hotel balcony. The proximity to the beach was perfect, and I loved the sounds of the crowds enjoying themselves, the ocean waves, and the music! We did not miss having a pool, the ocean was enough. The housekeeping staff were wonderful, helpful and accommodating. The place was very clean!

Fantastic location right on the beach. Can't be beat for the price. We hadn't realized we needed to call the check-in number prior to arrival but when we called, they immediately answered and told us where to find the keys. Best feature about this hotel is providing beach towels and chairs for use.

Everything you need is within a short walking distance and the beach is right at your door. Shops are close, location is amazing. Can't wait to come back. And parking was Rockstar.

Nice small hotel like many others on the boardwalk. Below is shops and restaurants right on beach. Hotel rooms are on second floor and all share a common area with chairs tables and loungers. Large rooms sizes. To gain access 2nd level with rooms must have key giving added sence of security. Also free washer and dryer to use for guest. Will stay again.

Simple place, but perfect for someone who wants to have a front row seat for sunrises, sand, and waves. We stayed one night before going on a cruise. Perfect pregame! Everything right there! Got us in vacation mode. Room was dated, up in a good "Old Florida" kind of way. Absolutely no complaints! Just remember..... All rooms are on the 2nd level and you have to lug all your luggage up a big flight of stairs. Totally worth it though! Thank you, La Terrace! I'm glad we chose you😊

When the cab pulled up to the building, the driver asked if we were sure we wanted to stay. It was very rough looking. The location was amazing. We knew that our room wouldn't be ready so we left our luggage at the office. We went back to the office a couple of times and the door was locked. They did get us into our room early which was great. The room was very dated, but seemed clean. However when i got a glass out of the cupboard for a glass of water i found bugs or something in the bottom. we loved sitting on the patio and being able to do laundry between cruises. All in All we were not very impressed with this hotel. I think if we hadn't already paid for it we would have gone some place else

Right on the boardwalk so you can walk in the morning or evening really, close by many coffee shops and eateries. Gorgeous view of the beach from the deck. not very clean, staff was rude, parking wasn't available the first night and we had to park at a diffrent hotel and pay$45 per night for it, but they did reimburse us the next day.

Classic beachy vibe! Exceptional value for the money; right on the boardwalk with panoramic ocean view, patio, with tables and lounge chairs included so you could take in the view or dine el fresco on the deck. Also free parking on site was a deal clincher. I plan to return - I felt very comfortable exploring Hollywood Beach from here You will need to go up 1 flight of stairs to the rooms and deck so not handicapped accessible as far as I could tell although I did not check, although our room and shower would have been easily accessible

The space was executed beautifully. I’m really bummed we only booked for the night because the view was INCREDIBLE! Check in and out was simple and the property was quiet..my favorite:). Thank you for having us!

We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean. The staff was kind. It was very convenient for beach and Broadwalk access. The only complaint would be that if you reserve the back corner room near the steps, it’s very clean, but it is directly on top of the restaurant’s kitchen, so you will get the food smell throughout the day and evening. It does get a little noisy with the playground being outside of the window. Other than those two small issues, it’s a great place. They have a washer and dryer that everyone can use and beach chairs!

It was very close to the beach and boardwalk Room was newly renovated and bed was comfortable. Beautiful terrace and fast check in . Free parking on the back . Microwave was in the room . It didn’t have stove or at least heating element.

I’ve already logged a complaint. I did not stay in the room because the description did not match the accommodation description. The accommodations were not deluxe and were not acceptable to stay even one night. I requested a refund and was refused by the owner I have logged a complaint with Visa as well as a complaint with bookings.com See above

The glass on the terrace is filthy, you can’t sit and watch the beach, you can’t see through the glass. Noisy - the restaurants play really loud music most of the night. That was expected but not the level of sound like vibrating through the walls. Construction: The building in under construction. That would have been nice to know! Especially for the company doing the work. 8:00am and the banging started right outside our room, and then a man popped out the bathroom window and started doing work in the bathroom window while we were there! My husband was so mad and yelled at the man to get out, which he did after yelling back, and then the whole room smelled like chemicals, so we had to leave! It was terrible and not relaxing and not how I pictured our couples vacation.

The terrace had a great view of the ocean and boardwalk. The rooms were large. Going up and down the stairs with luggage was a little bit awkward but only 1 flight of stairs.

They provided a space heater for the entire room for 50 degree nights aswell as all of the furniture is old and wornout. The entire building was being painted and there was loud construction and remodling our entire stay. The music from restaurants below the "motel" was so loud it was hard to sleepI did not feel safe with my daughter, and they would not give me a refund. I do not recommend this place, I dont know if I would even let my dog stay here.

Overall, the experience was great! I was here for the beach experience and the convenience of access to the beach, which you cannot beat. Amenity-wise, there’s not much offered, as it’s a low-budget motel. With that, some things were interesting (but aren’t deal breakers for me personally), such as no shower curtain, about 20” of space in front of the toilet, fridge in front of the light switches, and no hand towel or shower towel hooks to hang the towels. Nonetheless, the staff were helpful and friendly, and it was a great, affordable place to crash for a couple of nights, as I didn’t need anything special for my stay. Overall, the experience was great! I was here for the beach experience and the convenience of access to the beach, which you cannot beat. Amenity-wise, there’s not much offered, as it’s a low-budget motel. With that, some things were interesting (but aren’t deal breakers for me personally), such as no shower curtain, about 20” of space in front of the toilet, fridge in front of the light switches, and no hand towel or shower towel hooks to hang the towels. Nonetheless, the staff were helpful and friendly, and it was a great, affordable place to crash for a couple of nights, as I didn’t need anything special for my stay. It was under construction there was a jackhammer started at 7 AM so you didn’t get any sleeping in time. Our water was shut off management or the person that runs a place did nothing no ice no water toilets didn’t work half the time no clean towels no fresh linen I don’t recommend

Stayed here before. The hotel was pretty shabby but the huge terrace and location were great. The hotel looks like a war zone now. The terrace is cut in half with wood baricaid and construction fencing. No umbrellas! Smelled like marijuana the wholw time. The rooms and windows were filthy! Couldn't even see out the windows. All the dishes were filthy and a pan full of oil and frying residue was left in the oven! Only one exit from the second floor! What you see in the pictures is not even close to what you get!!

It’s was an easy check-in and the room had a view to die for. Upper balcony you could hear the beach music. Problem was there was 2 restaurants playing music also. All mingled together. The one next door played till 1 am. Pretty loud. That being said not for us elderly people. But if you want to party yes. Would not come back.

The view would have been great, but there is construction that we were not told about, so the “terrace” had a an orange construction fence across it. It’s above a restaurant and a store, so it’s very loud until 11pm. It also has large trash bins on both sides that smell bad. And the parking is terrifying that your car will be damaged. We didn’t see any employees and our room was never cleaned. The laundry on site is paid (8 quarters per washer and per dryer). The room however was clean.

The property is being renovated at the moment but is perfectly located with great ocean view and a great secure tar race to relax on. It will be an amazing place when finished.

Location is great with restaurants steps away, however they have loud music going til around ten. The music didn’t bother us but could someone.. Fun to watch all the people on the boardwalk. Would absolutely stay there again.

Terrace is under construction so the view of the beach is understandably obstructed. The kitchen area needs a cupboard or shelf so the dishes are under the sink.

We stayed for our 20 year wedding anniversary, which I noted to the motel ahead of time. The building was under major construction, with an orange fence completely blocking the nice view they had to the oceanfront. We were awoken to jackhammers every morning at 8am. Even on Saturday. The bed was hard as a rock and the blankets were paper thin. We tried to get extra pillows and blankets by visiting the office during office hours and were told they had already left for the day and would bring them the next day. They never did. I don’t mind the small room or cracked towels, and it was clean enough but just an uncomfortable experience altogether. Next time I will pay a little extra and stay somewhere else. The area itself is beautiful and walkable to many restaurants and a fabulous beach. The staff was able to connect with us for a late check-in by phone, which I did appreciate.

This property is in the perfect location and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Once the construction is completed, it will be much better. I have stayed here twice and plan to stay again in the future.

The location was amazing, just steps down from the beach and everything was walkable. The room was a lot better than I expected and having the little kitchen was so convenient!

I like La Terrace because the price is reasonable and it is close to all the action. However, after two years you have to figure out how to fix the terrace and make it accommodating. I believe the pyramids were built faster!

This property has a great location and the owner was very nice and helpful however the outside would deter you if you saw it the conditions were not great and. Construction being done . Area great convenient and view great. But then one of the rooms had bed bugs. We didn't find until late. Room was comped vut no others to move to. Unfortunately I had ti deal with the itchy bites for my whole vacation.

Check in was easy. The gentleman on the phone was very friendly. It’s a no frills place but it is right on the beach with a shared terrace for all guests. Our room was big and clean. I would stay again.

Honestly, I about cried when we pulled up and saw the outside of the place, out back. We had to call a number on the phone and were talked through how to retrieve our key from a lockbox and had a little trouble finding the stairs around the corner, but the VIEW from the terrace was fantastic! The room was extremely outdated, but may be the cleanest room in which we’ve ever stayed. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable and there was so much to do and see in the area. There is construction going on, but they didn’t start until a reasonable time. I went from crying to planning our next visit at this property.

I arrived to a closed office door. There was no information about the office hours from 10am-6pm, while the site says 24-hr service. I arrived with no email for the key card code, and had to persistently call the number for the office until someone finally answered. The room AC made strange noises that disturbed me at night.

No one came to clean our room. You have to leave the bathroom sink running in order to get hot water in the shower (hats ghetto and completely unacceptable)

This place is selling a lie, the website shows beautiful photos, but when you get there everything is old in terrible condition. The place is under construction. Hard noises all day. The customer service is bad too. Very disappointed 😢

I absolutely loved the area but I don’t have the best comments for the cleaning services because I stayed just for 2 nights and during the days the room wasn’t clean and the towels weren’t changed and there was a ridiculous notice inside the bathroom that encouraged me to use the same towels again with the purpose of saving water and for that reason I guess the room was never cleaned don’t be cheap please we are in a great country please shame on you 😳🤨☹️😡

This place was the worst we've stayed in. Add stated full kitchen. Not true. They put in as small thrift store hutch eith some thrift store plates an silverware and that was it. No stove or hot plate nothing. Just a sink and coffee maker. Place was very small not enough room for 2 to pass the foot of the bed and dresser. The mattress was horrible, probably something thrown out of somewhere else. The ac was bed level that froze me out but wy wife was just right.i think the whole place was was occupied by the same Spanish family, no English, very awkward. Even the live lip synch music below was foreign. Nothing against them just weird thar we couldn't have a conversation with anyone there.

It was awesome to be directly on the oceanfront, includes parking and two steps from few restaurants and bars on the boardwalk. Only downside is that is was currently under renovation, I would not have stayed there if I knew that before my stay.

This is a great place. No frills, just what you need for a ocean front beach stay.

The ocean view room was perfect. There is construction going on and some scaffolding outside right now, but the views from in the room out to the ocean, priceless. There is some mold in the shower, otherwise very clean. The mamagers are prompt and accommodating. Location is right on the broadwalk.

Little whole in the wall that we enjoyed and will definitely be back to. There is construction going on that impairs the terrace view when seated or laying in bed. Standing on the terrace the views are absolutely gorgeous. This little place was clean and had a little kitchenette. Air conditioning worked amazing. Staff were incredibly kind. Beneath the room are restaurants and shops. We couldn't hear any of the noise upstairs in our room. Everything is convenient and a couple steps out on to the gorgeous beach.

The property is in an excellent location. The room was clean and comfortable. However they are doing major renovations. Being awakened at 8am to the sound of jackhammers, circular saws and banging of hammers was most unpleasant.

The Terrace looked nothing like the photos w/ the pretty red umbrellas. The whole thing & one side of the place is still under construction w/ orange barriers from side-to side. From previous reviews this construction has been going on for months - when will it end? Can not beat the location & the employees were friendly. Will probably stay again but not until the construction is done.

I have been coming to this hotel for the past 3 years several times a year. The location is great, the staff is great. I will keep coming back!

The room was perfect for my husband and I. A comfortable bed, couch, snd dining set to use with a cute kitchenette equipped with coffee maker (and coffee!). The staff member was very friendly and easy to work with. Parking was available in back, but make sure to let them know ahead of time. Parking is a hot commodity at that end of the strip! If you enjoy excitement and music, this is your place. Music is loud and goes until about 11 on the weekends. After that it’s very easy to tune out. The only part of this place that was a little disappointing was the unfinished construction that must’ve stopped midway through. A bit of an eyesore and took some of the fun away from being on top of the shops looking out over the beach. Another key note, access to the rooms is only by stairs and they are somewhat “aggressive” for those with bad knees or other physical limitations. Overall, a very nice place and great location!!

We loved the fact that it’s pretty right on the water. Surrounded by great food and people enjoy themselves singing and dancing. Mainly Hispanic music. Drinks are everywhere(at boardwalk prices)There are no real amenities but being on the boardwalk was enough. Will visit again when in the area

I loved the ocean view and the beach, hotel was clean and comfortable, staff was friendly and service was excellent. I loved it and the hotel was directly on the beach, Hollywood boardwalk. This was my second time staying there and I will be back soon.

I was skeptical when we first pulled up but it turned out to be a lovely stay. We arrived earlier than expected and the staff worked fast to turnover the room so we could check in early. The beds are very comfortable and the room is nice and clean. We were allowed one parking spot which was great for us. You can’t beat the location! The balcony area is undergoing construction from hurricane damage but you can easily look past that. You are right on the boardwalk/beach. Everything you may need is walking distance. We only stayed a couple of nights before our cruise but I could easily stay here for a week or longer. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you so much to the staff for everything that you did for us!! You truly care which is hard to find these days! Until next time….The Young Family
