I love the area. Everything was closed. The beach was right there. The place was nice and clean. There was parking available for $20 a day. Awesome would stay again.

Cons: There was no closet or place to hang clothes. No mirror in the room other than the small bathroom mirror. Bed was so hard and uncomfy- ordered a mattress topper on Amazon which was delivered the same day. Worth the $40. No room in my suitcase so I left it there. Would’ve been nice to have a bigger fridge. Daily charge of $15 for the umbrella and beach chairs (shouldn’t have been charged for the first day since check in is 4p) A broom and dustpan in the room would’ve been nice to have to clean up the sand since there isn’t housekeeping during your stay. For the most part it was a great stay.

- the microwave, coffee maker, the tableware was perfect for the quick meal before and after the beach - the beach is super close (1 minute walk) - great price to quality ratio Cons : - the AC is always on so, at night, it gets really chilly - the wall are thin, sound can travel form one room to another... To know before booking: No staff is present on site, everything is done through the hotel website/portal.

On May 4th I put in a reservation for a package at Sunrise with my flight being through Spirit. When spirt seized operations, I immediately reached out to Sunrise in hopes of a date transfer or refund. In the 20 days until my trip, Expedia, affirm nor myself could contact the property via phone or website or Expedia messaging. In fear of not getting my refund, I found a new flight that was a later then my original booking, but I paid for it and showed up to the property. All doors and gates were locked, and still ZERO COMMUNICATION from hotel on my access code or room number. Two days into my original booking, the hotel asked for my phone number and email which again, they never sent my access code or room number to. They are now claiming no fault and I am in contact with Broward County sheriffs office and the Florida Attorney General. This hotel is NOT manned, there is no staff and they don’t care how it may affect you. I’m a 36 year old solo traveler, I ubered to the hotel and was stranded in 88 degree weather for hours before having to purchase emergency accommodations. Beware!

The sheets had stains and the towels had foundation stains. There’s no onsite staff so no one does daily house keeping. There’s a thin door that separates a connecting room with a slide lock - which doesn’t seem safe and you can hear the neighbors conversations and them doing the deed…. Lol

The room was very clean and super close to the ocean, which we loved! I had booked this because of the cost and when reading reviews it indicated that there were beach chairs, etc. Well, there are beach chairs but there is an extra cost to it and there were no beach towels available. We would stay here again if the price was right, but next time I would make sure and add the cost of the beach chairs into my budget. Also, there was only a sheet for the bed....no other covers, which was different for us. I only say this to inform others, but overall we had a really good experience there and would look to book again. Thank you!

Room was smaller than advertised, but it worked. The king bed was two twins put together which wasn’t great. There was no front desk and the staff never answered the phone. Overall, it was okay, but I wouldn’t stay again as there was not much service provided. Also the area does not have many things to do.

I enjoyed the location of this hotel for the price. You couldnt see the ocean from the room although it was directly located next tothe boardwalk. The room was clean and nice. The kitchen area had a coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator making it convenient for deinks and snacks. There are no staff to access on the sight. It is important to pay attention to emails amd codes as they come to you. I had a late arrival and didn't keep the room and code information screenshotted believing it would still ne on the expedia app. It wasnt. Fortunately, the staff did respind with the information in a timely manner. If they hadn't I would have been stranded. For the value and the location I would recommend this place for a typical non luxury related stay. The walls are paper thin so you can here everything outisde and in other rooms. I will note the location is convenient to everything boardwalk related and the beach. The night time gets a little eri because of the amount of homelessness in the area. Be prepared for safety.

With all virtual check in, I encountered a few problems checking in but it was dealt with effectively. Nicely renovated basics included place. Super clean. Everything you need. Half a block from beach and broadwalk and in a quiet area but with tons of nightlife. Perfect stay.

Outside of the facility was nice. It took over an hour to get access into the room due to the code we received was wrong. Text messages is the only way to communicate with management since 5 unsuccessful pleas to contact me with my phone number attached. The AC didnt work. It was 80 degress. Again, i had to send out texts to get someone to address the issue. The shower didn't work. They sent some who didnt speak english to try to fix the issues. His phone translation to us was we need to contact the Company concerning the AC. Ironically, there was a fan next to the better although the amenities included AC. The next dsy in the afternoon someone came out to fix tfxhe AC. It dropprd from 80 degrees to 78. I sent them poctures, again, through text because no one would answer the phone or call you back even though you left them your number several times. It was my brothers funeral and we wanted to go to an area that was advertised as beautiful and great. We paid almost $1000 for 2 days. I regret coming here. It was awful. My next door neighbors went through the same as me. You will probably see a similar review as mine.

This location is located steps away from the beach. They have plenty of amenities to include laundry soap, even a beach towel. The TV worked. The air conditioner was extremely cold. I did have to ask him to come and show me how to turn it down. The hot water did go out, but they came as soon as possible with maintenance to get it back up and running. I did have to go one day without hot water. The bed was not the most comfortable, but it wasn’t the worst. Either check out. Instructions were emailed to me. I did not know how to check out. I did text message the host and let them know that I didn’t know how to check out, but I had locked up. I do advise that you watch your emails for checkout instructions. Check out. Instructions are on the website but you have to click check-in and scroll all the way down before you can find how to check out that was my only issues overall it was a very pleasant day and the staff although we’re not on site they were very quick with responding to all text messages

Checking in was such a pain to deal with. Even another guest who was older and not at tech savy had issues. There is literally zero employees no FD no housekeeper nothing. Paying for parking was a bad experience. I had to text a number because calling and emails we going unanswered. The bed was AWFUL the worst bed I have ever slept in. For the nightly rate I paid this was a BS experience. Zero hot water. It goes out after 4 mins. Not warm. Not kinda cold but freezing. Floors were first don’t recommend walking barefoot. God forbid I needed a blanket or pillows and there is no one to assist. Would not recommend would. It stay here again I had to leave early because I just couldn’t sleep on that bed another night

The only thing going for this property is the location to the beach. No WiFI. After repeated requests, a functional connect was not provided. The elctronic system to access the room was faulty. I did not encounter a physical human being so I can't vouch for staff. Although I prepared for the room and I read the warning about being towed, I planned to use the nearby municipal parking structures and not pay the $20/day parking charge. Access to the room was withheld until parking payment was received although I had not intention to park at the facility. There was no means to separate parking from my prepared reservation. Parking itself was parking on the street. Really a hijacking.

Clean, close to beach but that’s about it. They do not have heat so staying there Jan/Feb can be dicey if it’s cool and (or) rainy - 58F in my room first night with only a bed sheet. With toaster, hair dryer and coffee maker going all night I was able to make it. Get what you pay for!

No heat in any of the units, i was freezing. And the air ventilation is dirty (good if you want to be sick on your vacation). The toilet seat cover was not clean at all, (with other people urine on it)

The check in was easy. The beach is at least a block away. But still nice!Enjoyed walking on the boardwalk.

We even found cockrocah in out room last night and sanitation was really big cornecen.

When I told them about my AC freezing me out and not turnimg off, their answer was to drop off an extra blanket instead of someone coming to fix it ! Pathetic !

First of all, I never could check in. No one was on the premises to assist. The phone number only offered a text back and they still didn't give me the information needed to get in.

Staff was quick to respond to my questions in regards to parking, I was able to check in earlier than normal time. Room was clean, smelled fresh, very simple, bed was comfortable and fresh. A microwave, small dorm room frigerator with freezer, a small coffee pot. Very close to the beach, and away from all the noise of the louder parts of the Broadwalk. The shower pressure was great, which was a plus, because the water is cold in the showers. The air stayed between 74-77 in my room, and the thermostat set to 70. It was very hot when I was visiting. The coffee mug is miniature for a child. The walls are thin, I could hear my neighbors. All in all, I would stay here again for the price and proximity to the beach for a quick trip.

We did not like the place; the bathroom was tiny, the shower was broken, the water pressure was very low, and the layout of the room was hideous. It is not a good place to stay with your family.

The kitchen didn't have a spoon, the bathroom is old and full of broken tiles. The hotel needs renovation of the bathrooms.

Clean room, weird smell every so often, not sure really what is was. I wasn’t the only one to experience this. Everything else was great.

Stove, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, silverware, parking spot (for additional price though, but anyway), free WiFi - everything is as it suppose to be.. The only downside which can be mentioned is the sound insulation between the rooms. It definitely could be improved. Other than that - this is just the perfect place to spend your vacation. Recommend!

Great location! Room has been refurbished and it looks great. Except that it needs a mirror! And the closet needs hangers. A bar of soap in the bathroom would be appreciated. Otherwise, I was quite pleased.

This was the cutest place ever. GREAT location by the beach with lots of choices for shopping, dinning and night life. Will definitely be staying here again

Be prepared to have to wash your towels and sheets yourself and pay for the use of the washers to do so Even though it says they will bring you new ones they wont. We were there for 6 days like really two towels for 2 people and then charge us to wash them . Thats insane . We called for them and they told us we had to wash our own. Also we lost power and was the only hotel around us that did . We lost food because of it . We paid 120 dollars for parking and didnt even have the spot we were assigned because others kept taking it. I most likely wont be staying there again.

Showed up at the property today to check in and it’s been closed for a month for renovations. Property manager said they informed Expedia and no one let us know. We had 3 rooms between our group and no one got any notification. Had to find a new place to stay and considerable extra cost.

The place is at a great location, just steps away from the beach, restaurants, shops. Unfortunately the place and room was rundown nothing like the pictures. The room was not clean properly, the area for the second bed the ceiling was falling and debri was falling on top of the bed. Got there the toilet was not working, but the person was very prompt to answer and fix it.

Villa Europa was great! They give you every thing you need to enjoy the beach and rest after. They offer free bikes to ride around and I loved that. Free parking too if needed. They were so friendly too!

I stay here often for work, Parking is included, it is safe and it is quiet. power went out and Luis was quick to respond, he always sends me I parking spot number and room number and key code well before checkin. My room is always clean..

This property was so close to the beach we could go for a swim or walk anytime. They also had a full kitchen and many useful amenities, such as beach umbrellas and bicycles. Loved the courtyard where we ate all our meals.

Excellent beach access. Added bonus of having beach towel, umbrella and free bikes for the boardwalk. The courtyard was since to sit in as well. Room was convenient, fridge, microwave, large shower, etc. They contacted me well in advance and also provided details for contactless room checkin.

You can’t beat the location next to the beach! The rooms are small and dated, but clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and attentive. This is our 2nd stay at Villa Europa; we would stay there again!

The service was excellent and fast. The downsides were the property is pretty dated, and the room had a sewer odor at times. A fight broke out in the street beside the property which was alarming. I noted a For Sale sign on the hotel which may be the reason for the lack of reno investment.

Wonderful location right on Hollywood Beach. Facility is old and tired but clean and serviceable. Family owned for generations by nice folks.

There were no instructions about the parking. We drove around the property several times before we realized that there was a cone reserving our parking space. It would have been helpful to have this communicated to us in advance, especially since we arrived very late and didn’t know who to contact or where to go. Once we figured that out, the check in was easy.

Loved the location. The room was perfect for our needs. Only had a few snags the washing machine was broken when we arrived so we had to go to a laundromat. The bike tires needed air. But some of the other guests must have contacted property folks cause the next morning it was all getting fixed. And we had one night where someone parked in our assigned space so I had to contact one of the persons I was told to contact if I needed anything and they were able to let me know where I could park for the night instead. It all worked out and I would recommend and stay here again.

Communication with the management was horrible. Rude, poor English, unresponsive. We needed to change our non-refundable reservation to the following week, and although we were not asking for a refund but just that the date be changed, the owner refused. We had to book and pay twice for one stay. The facility is in disrepair -- peeling paint, rusty hinges, fixtures and shower door from the 1980s. No tissues in the room. No office or anyone to ask for help. The pluses; it was clean, quiet and very close to the beach. But it's a bungalow, not a hotel.

You cannot beat the location one block from Hollywood Beach! I also loved having a free parking space right outside my room! The rooms were clean and basic. Beds were actually quite comfortable! The rooms are a bit dated, but otherwise had everything else I needed! The staff were highly communicative, friendly, and helpful!

This is a very basic room in a great location.

Clean, comfortable w/kitchenette and courtyard, good for small families or anyone on a budget. Each unit ground floor outside entry. Building probably dates to late 1920s, remodel seems to be about 1990, great tile shower that is well maintained, but all fixtures look like Home Depot from 1990 or earlier. Central AC works well, but is noisy. Nevertheless convenient, and away from loud music at night. Given the cost, a good choice for beach access.

Drop bags and they put them in our room for us when it was ready. This made for a extremely smooth check in. The room is right next to the beach. It’s an older property but it’s very clean and cozy inside. We’d stay again.

I'm not sure where all of these 'exceptional' reviews are coming from because this place is literally falling apart! The only positive things about it is it's close to the beach and we were able to check in early. I understand that the hotels in this area are old but the condition of this room was awful! We would've complained to the office but there isn't anyone ever there, it's locked and empty. I can only attach 8 photos but I have so many more! The door to our room didn't even have a proper seal at the bottom and had a gap where the outside light was coming through, I'm sure if it had rained water would come in as well. The stove was disgusting, the bathroom cabinet was falling apart, stains on what appeared to be some sort of cloth door held closed by towels, what appeared to be small spots of blood on the bathroom towels, I could go on and on.....and they actually have the nerve to deny our request for a refund! I will be taking this farther up and we will get our money back! $360 for 2 nights in this crap hole is insane! Oh, and it's for sale so I'm guessing they don't even care to deal with the issues, they're just going to dump it off. The outside is bad as well, dead plants and broken metal chairs that can cut someone and most likely cause Tetanus! If you want to watch tv don't bother, it's on a coffee table basically blocked by a wall, can't be seen from the bed, worst place we have ever stayed in!

The location is great, 30 second walk to the beach. The room was in desperate need of a makeover. The air conditioner was like sleeping under an airplane. The room needed a good clean. The blinds were filthy and didn't function. Thankfully there were drapes, however they were not light blocking and were stained. Right above all 3 windows were bright lighting making the need for interior lighting unnecessary. The ceiling fan had a thick layer of dust that aggregated my husband's asthma. The bathroom had a spacious shower with a window looking out onto the courtyard. There was a broken pulldown shade that was ill fitting and see through with an interior light on. The shower was moldy and there was a used bar of soap on the shower door rail. The toilet was quite low and old. The vanity doors were in bad shape. The small kitchenette area was nestled in a former closet. There was ample coffee, a small microwave, and refrigerator. The bed....it so loud you couldn't move without waking the person next to you.

What i liked most about the property was that it was clean and it is located in a great location.

Parking was easy. We just had to get out of the car to move the cones. It could be a tight fit for an inexperienced driver or when dealing with other guests who don't realize they actually have to park within their parking space's lines to make sure everyone can fit. The room was a bit disappointing. It wasn't as bright as in the pictures. The room lights had a yellow glow. There was only one single window in the room and it faced the public walking area so it wasn't ideal to have it open for natural light. The fridge worked well. I enjoyed the fact that tableware was available as well as pots, a toaster, and griddle. The table right under the window was cute as well. Also, they provided beach towels, chairs, beach umbrella, and a heater. It was disappointing that there was still dried toothpaste remnants in the toothbrush holder in the bathroom. I also requested a Queen sized studio and the bed was a Full size. My guest and I also noticed at the last minute that this location requests that you take out the trash. It was fine for a single night. It still just seems overpriced for how dated, small, and dark the place was.

It was perfect! Beach & Boardwalk was around the corner walking. Full kitchen with coffee maker, microwave, large refrigerator, dishware, etc... Room was pretty large. Very quiet. Very close to amazing Boardwalk restaurants. Would stay here again. Ceiling fan and shower tile needs a good bleaching other than that we would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location close to FLL and near the ocean. Rooms are clean but dated. If you're looking for a Marriot it probably isn't for you. If you don't mind an older dated motel its perfect. The only issue we had, Florida had an abnormal cold front and the rooms had no heat so it was very cold. They have easy coded check in even with late night arrival.

I stayed there for 1 night because it was close to the broadwalk and offered free parking. Access to the room was easy with a keypad.

They didn’t have our entry code correct and there was no one in the office to help. It took way to long to get it resolved.

I stay here often when in town for work, its always very clean and the check in process is very easy and parking is assigned so that is a plus. I travel alone and always feel safe here.. I was disappointed I saw a for sale sign :( I hope he doesn't sell to that guy that owns tons of hotels around this property because ..

The only 2 things that I say would need to look out for, was although the bed was very comfortable, it was very squeaky., and the other would being able to hear the couple staying next door.. We could hear their entire conversation at 430 in the morning and the next day.. Besides that it was a very nice weekend

Very friendly staff. They were kind enough to allow an early check in. While the place is dated (around for awhile), it was clean, relatively quiet, and comfortable. Beach towels included in the room! A nice touch. Close to the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk and all that it offers.

The staff was very accommodating and seemed glad that we were there. The property was small with very few amenities, but the location to the beach and area was very accessible.

Free parking onsite was the best feature and just a few steps from the beach. The room smelled strongly of bleach and after it wore off we felt it was in an attempt to cover up the stinky drain in the bathroom. The smell was so bad I couldn't even use the shower. Also a picture or two on the walls would help with the room's starkness.

We were looking for a bed and shower close to beach and this place was perfect and price was great. Would have been nice to have a sink, but overall it had everything else we needed. Wish we could have spent a few more days to enjoy boardwalk and more beach. Thank you.
