I do not recommend the facility unless you need a place to live. Pool lacked chlorine and guests were allowed to do as they wish depending on who was at the window. Stove does not work. Room had two television with one not working. Shower had no shower head. There were no lamps or trash cans in the room.

Nothing. It was dirty not clean at all. Issues with a broken bed, weird water pressure in the bathroom sink, no trash can and just everything is old and broken. The walls are thin and the area is below average. It doesn’t look like the pictures at all, it is way more dingy. Very disappointed, especially for the price. Did not expect something like that, so dirty and a weird smell as well.

I was actually gonna write a good review, something like, “it’s got personality” and “they’re trying! I knew it wasn’t the Ritz and I just needed a place to sleep for a few hours before my flight. Got there after 10pm, exhausted from a long drive. There’s 3 guys drinking and playing loud music by the pool. Sigh. Ok, I have earplugs. My room doesn’t look too bad at first. There’s a queen and a twin with dark sheets and navy bed covers. Interesting! I put my stuff down on the twin and look around. It’s rough but not without imagination. Bed and night stand look like they were made from scrap wood. Industrial! There are nicks on the walls like someone’s punched them. Character! At least the bathroom fixtures look very shiny and clean. Then I bent to pull the cover off the queen bed…. Ugh, the SMELL!! It was very obvious the last person in this room peed ALL OVER the bed. It smelled like a bus toilet. Mgmt figured you can’t see the pee stains on the dark fabric so the bed LOOKS fresh. The twin bed didn’t seem peed on but also wasn’t straight out of the wash. I was tired and need to wake at 4. Reader, I used it. I debated complaining but imagined other rooms might be worse. I didn’t want to piss off (no pun intended!) the guy who checked me in—hotel takes a deposit when you check in and I didn’t want to give them a reason to not return it. (I waited until it was returned before writing this review.) Oh, and the toilet didn’t work! Stay away!!!

Was super easy to check in. The front desk guy was amazing. Very friendly. Would recommend to anyone. Restaurants with in walking distance and downtown less than a mile walk. We loved it there

The air was ok the whole place need renovations. It was water on the floor by the bed. The bed was old and broken.

There were 2 double beds - we expected queen size. Thankfully the sheets were clean. The mattresses are cheap and have no support. The pillows are lumpy. In the small bathroom, the toilet is awkwardly behind the shower. There is no TP holder. The TP roll was on the sink. The walls are so thin we could hear the TV in the room next door. It would have been nice if an employee would have stopped the argument outside after midnight. We didn't get any sleep!

I’ve been staying here consistently for about 3 weeks now, and Hagai always does a great job. Hes a very nice guy, and always willing to help me out . He made my stay very welcoming for my birthday. Thank you Hagai !

The toilet wouldnt stop running even when full. The poor desk lady came and tried to fix the Wi Fi but couldn't. Booking .Com should be ashamed of posting these traps with non refundable payments. The shower was stopped up. The room smelled like urine. The sheets had stains. I did not stay in the room.

The place was clean but in general looks old and in need of some TLC. Nice refrigerator in the room, and the bed was OK. Everything is the restroom needs fixing and upgrading. Each night there were other guests next door who were loud and arguing very late into the night.

It was very rough , we arrived and nearly just ate the cost of the hotel and left. ( we should have for safety concerns ). All night we were kept up by people coming and going - checking in was the first red flag - admin was behind glass and surrounded by cameras. Thin walls , door was missing an inch out of bottom corner - very sketchy hotel setting. We didn’t sleep much - we were so happy to leave @5am / would of been better off sleeping in the car. Motel sits by a main road - very loud traffic all night.

Without a doubt, the WORST hotel I've visited in several decades. Dark, dingy, dangerous. The room was in an unlit section away from the main hotel, and the door was flimsy. Plus, it felt like a converted garage. No redeeming factors. We did not feel safe, so we booked another hotel and left immediately. To make matters worse, this fleapit charges a "resort fee" (i.e. hidden fees, which I thought Hotels.com did not allow?) despite offering no amenities. Do NOT go there. It's awful.

This spot was used for exactly what i needed it for, shower and rest before a flight back home... the price was very very reasonable especially in Fort. Lauderdale. my stay was quite nice, i must admit the outside appearance wasn't the prettiest but after entering the room i became well relaxed.

The gentleman at the front desk was really nice The suite was clean and large but was not worth $600 for 3 nights. There was a full kitchen but not one pot, spoon or even a waste can anywhere. For that kind of money we were hoping to at least get a complimentary coffee in the room. But nope. It was in a nice central location for what we needed.

Staff was good. When you walk in to the room it smells like pee so I had to open up the windows and spray something to try and get rid of the smell. There was also food in the fridge and some hygiene products in the bathroom. So although it seemed like it was cleaned and there wasn’t dirt or bugs. I’m not sure they cleaned the room before hand.

I like that the motel has different color sheets and blankets. Most motels have the same color old fashioned fabric. The black and the gray made the room look brighter. I loved the walk in shower bathroom was clean room was clean. The room had a fridge & microwave which was convenient. The motel was in perfect reach to gas stations food and the dolphins stadium. I didn’t like that I didn’t get any wash cloths I had to go to the office. They don’t do room service so I had to go back to the office to change out my towels and wash cloths. This is my second time staying at this property. The caretaker is absolutely incredible. The rooms are clean and affordable. Above and beyond all the caretaker is amazingly responsive, kind, and honest highly recommend staying here.

Nothing work the stoves don’t work no tables or chairs like it says in the description. The walls are paper thin you can hear a pin drop in the next room over. U have to go outside just to have a private conversation put it like this. It sounds like if the units next to urs don’t have a wall u hear everything from next door like if they are in your room. When it rains the roof leaks everywhere and bad. The price is not worth what ur getting every one complaining about noise at 4 in the afternoon just because your talking or ur baby cry’s so basically their is no privacy hear even if u talk low the hole conversation can be heard perfectly by both of your neighbors on each side of whatever unit you’re in so you literally have to go outside towards the street just to talk on the phone or have a private conversation

We couldn't enjoy sitting down eating and The room is smaller than the actual pictures and what I booked was not what was given to us. But the service was 5 star from the front desk to housekeeping especially when we needed things to get done they both did an awesome job.

It has new bathroom facilities and new floors. New new bed frames. I talked to the owner and he said they're doing a little bit everyday all the time to fix it up and I can see its potential. The hotel manager and front desk reservations coordinator, Lee, did an excellent job for me and my girlfriend for our stay. Lee answered all of my questions on a daily basis and was consistant with overall great customer service and communication. Lee was extremely helpful and dependable.

After check in First the room was extra hot couldn’t get it to cool then you can’t shower cause it was over flowing . We went to switch room an it was better air but the bathroom shower was barley give any water so we had to leave the night, it was too much and people keeping loud noise around . I would not recommend it to anyone with the experience I had have we had book it for 2 days we left in one

The atmosphere is different, the customer service is accommodating. The rooms are nice and up to standard. The front desk is always a great help. When you visit that’s the guy you want to talk to.

Nothing We were locked out all night since the one of the keys we were given did not work and the the other key was in the room with all our personal belongings. There was no staff available and the after hour phone number would go to voicemail and the voicemail was not setup. We ended up having to go to another hotel to spend the night and when I asked to speak with a supervisor they stated it had to be through email, when I tried to send an email it was a non delivered email. I waited exactly 10 days to get my deposit back and then called since I never got my refund and the person who answered said that it had to be manually refunded meaning that if I would had not called I would’ve never got my deposit back. Rooms are very clean except days of fumigation are during weekdays . Besides that very excellent services , manager name withheld is very courteous gentleman and very professional services.

Booked this hotel showed up with all of my luggage and was told to walk five minutes down the road because they were overbooked to their sister hotel, which was a complete dump. I spilled some water on the floor and when I wiped it up, the white towel was black due to dirty floors…. The room smelled so strong smell of bleach yet still so dirty.

The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. There were issues with the booking that Helen W quickly resolved. I would not stay in the hotel again but she did everything to accommodate our group.

This is a very traditional old style “Miami style “ beach motel. It’s not fancy but it’s very cozy, clean a quiet. The stay overall was terrible. The room was dirty , unkept and beds not comfortable at all. Sheets smelled weird and were partially made. Hairs in the shower and sink. Water did not get hot or even warm in the shower so we had to skip that all together . The floor was slippery. The person staying next to us was vomiting terribly outside our door for hours all night long so we didn’t get any sleep whatsoever. I asked for a late check out which the lady at the front extended by 1 hour which we appreciated but we feel that she could have done more considering our check in wasn’t until 9pm to start.

The walls had holes. The pillows were uncomfortable. The walls paper thin. Everyone including management slammed doors ALL NIGHT. It’s seriously not even worth it.

There was an empty Men's soap bottle and a soap wrapper left in the window and empty box of cigarettes was behind the bed. The internet is off and that was the story of what we had no access to it. I don't feel as if I should have been charged the hotel.Fee a day for that.

Pics were very different than what was there

The pictures of the room on the site were clean and bright. In reality the room was dark, poor lighting, no face towels or washcloths. The sink cabinet was cracked and the was no soap for the shower. Exposed wires on fixtures that were incomplete. Lots of deposits and fees that are in the tiny print that most people dont look at so read carefully. Area is undergoing gentrification but has not reached the hotel proximity yet. At least a dozen cameras around the property gave a feeling of not being safe. No bugs, bed was ok. But i think the pillows would have been considered a war crime. Not worth 142.00 a nite, spend a little extra and stay at one the newer hotels up the street.

Booked a room with two beds. Description said renovated rooms. When we arrived we’re told that there’s only one room available with one bed. Got to the room which wasn’t renovated. It was disgusting. There was no towels and no toilet paper. There was a bunch of insects and mosquitos inside the room. Very rundown place. Also noticed bed bug bites on skin the next day. Hotel staff couldn’t give us a refund since it was a non refundable booking, which would be fine if we’d actually get the renovated room with 2 beds! I do not recommend this hotel!

At check in they demanded over $100 cash, No cards accepted. Refused to allow us to stay for our previously booked trip. We had to quickly find other accommodations for us and our 2 kids for the night. The hotel looked like a pay-by-the-hour facility and was run like one. Do not book your stay here. Hilton Gardens was not much more expensive, has a better facility and we were welcomed appropriately. You get what you pay for.

The guy at the front desk was very helpful and super nice. I had to talk to a couple different people on the phone and they were also very nice and let me know all the information I needed.

The king size bed was 2 doubles - they blamed Expedia for not notifying them in time, but I doubt there was a king size bed on the property. There was a huge TV mounted to the wall, but it didn't work, and there was a little TV in front of it. There was not even a glass in the room to hold water to take tablets. Charged US$20 resort fee - there was just a tiny, dirty swimming pool. Drug dealing at bus stop next to hotel. Worse place we have ever stayed.

The woman who did the housekeeping I will say even though she had very limited English was very kind and very thoughtful and she did try to help you as best as she could as far as the people if they were the owners were not kind at all and if they say that this is a fake post it is not it is a real post and I did actually stay there

No shampoo provided unless asked only two towels given for me and my wife when we asked the end of the second day we were told that what they provide and was shie they provided us with other 2 towels And no bed lamp even Black sheets and black pillows which was disgusting

Cons: The motel is on a very busy major road, and our room was on the side closest to the road. We brought up this concern, and the clerk told us the room was very quiet. It was, in fact, extremely noisy with the motorcycles, trucks, and thumping bass from the cars all night. If you're a light sleeper, avoid this motel! Also, check-in is at 4:00. DO NOT arrive before 4:00! Every other motel that we've ever been to in our lives has had a room available once they're clean before check-in time if you get there early because of your flight. Not this one. The rooms had been cleaned, but they would not let anyone in a room before 4:00. We got there early because of our flight schedule, and had to wait by the pool for 5 hours until 4:00 sharp. Keep that in mind.

EXPEDIA this property should Not be one of your listings! It was non refundable . Now I know why. I definitely am not pleased.

DO NOT STAY HERE. The pictures are very misleading and the location is NOT SAFE! Upon arrival there was no one to help with check-in. There were people across the streets watching every move and also there were others who appeared to be full time residents at the establishment. I refused to let my 2 kids and ourselves to stay. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL.

Expedia is trying to contact them about a reimbursement and they won’t answer them. We had to leave this hotel after being here for 30 mins- i even grabbed cleaning supplies and attempted to clean the room to try and stay and it was so dangerous. There was blood on the wall, condoms on the floor, dirty beds, dirty floors, broken walls, escorts outside the room and screws sticking out of the walls which our young daughter could hurt herself on and no working smoke alarm. We were told if we left we would be refunded through an email and we contacted expedia to see about booking another hotel and we did find one. Then we tell them we are leaving and they said we won’t refund you since youve been in the room 30 mins (yes packing our stuff and booking another hotel). I have never had such a terrible experience. Expedia tried calling them and hotelrefused to answer. They still havent answered the email yet from expedia and we were told it would be 48 hours from them. When we left i asked the person if the room was rebookable and clean enough and she said yes. The girl at the front said so many different things about how we would be refunded and when it came time to leaving wouldnt refund. How can a business run like this? Here are all the pictures. Super sad/rip off. Save yourself the hassle and don’t book here. Its sad there wasnt honesty and there was not a clean room or what we were promised in pictures when we arrived. Worst hotel ever.

This is a motel. Its ran down, the staff was VERY nasty with the exception of the maintenance man he was wonderful. They kept saying no refunds. The pictures are photo shopped. They didn't give us no wash clothes thank goodness we brought our own. The bed had a dnet in it so deep they change our room.the next room had 1 twin bed and 1 full size bed but the full suze bed was less than an inch from the floor. This motel is something that should be rented by the hour. Overall if you have mo choice it's okay and we did feel safe. The staff needs to work on their people skills and understand that people are VERY disappointed when they arrived because the pictures not what the motel is!!!

The pictures on expedia show a quaint little property with fluffy quilts, microwaves, tables, little vases on tables etc. You get there and you have a dingy blanket in a poor area, windows that dont even have locks, bulbs that flicker and burn out, no tables, and a waiver to sign a mile long to stay in the junky rooms. Total shock what I booked. I dont know how this place is getting the ratings it has. Buyers beware. I was happy my rental was still in the parking lot in the morning.

We were very disappointed and the cost was quite high! We booked through Hotels.com and prepaid the nightly fee, taxes and a property fee. When we checked into the hotel, they informed me that they charge an additional resort fee of $22.60 USD. (which we had to pay as they took our credit card for incidentals). The room, hotel and area is not worth the $185 CND that we paid for this one night stay. The cons outweigh the pros but I will start with a few positives. Pros -King Bed and bedding were comfortable (but only supplied two small pillows, had to ask for two) -Shower was hot with nice pressure -Cleanliness 7/10 -Apartment sized fridge and cooking element in room Cons -Location of hotel is located near a busy road -No bedside tables or lamps (room was very sparse) -Even though they supplied fridge and cooktop no utensils, dishes etc. (if you were to bring in something you had no place to sit in the room but on the bed to eat) - room seemed to be unfinished, no toilet paper holder, ceiling in shower had drywall and plaster showing - Shower leaked (a lot) as glass door did not close properly - supplied only two towels and 1 facecloth! No hand towel or floor mat for shower - no hairdryer in the room - the rooms are very noisy and the walls are paper thin. We can hear next-door resident snoring and talking on his phone very clearly. You will not get a good night sleep! Overall, I would caution anyone who is thinking about staying at this hotel!

I honestly shouldn't have booked here. It was based on pricing but I was better off at another motel. A motel is what it is and the dirty kind. They will charge for EVERYTHING even dirty sheets or for not taking out your trash. Why did I stay here!?

Building looks old. The property grounds and pool looked unappealing. Room had signs of wear and tear. Bathroom walls had stucco unpainted. No floor rugs for bathroom. Unreasonable charges for early check-in and late check-out.

Stayed one night before a cruise. Unfortunately for us, with plane delays, we did not arrive until 5am so we couldnt actually fully enjoy our stay. Was a bit disappointing on first glance - green pool, front fence fallen down in one section. But it looks like the owners are trying to improve the property so thanks for that. Great diner a 4 minute walk down the street. Cute decor in the unit

Looked like a motel that can be rented by the hour. Rundown area, boarded up buildings and homes. Lots of people standing around the area drinking and smoking. Very poor area.

We had a lovely stay here for one night before embarking on a cruise. The room was wicked clean, and you can tell that Paula and her husband love and care for their property very well. I cannot praise them enough for being so helpful and accommodating. It is also a quick drive to some wonderful dining options in Hollywood. Small caveat, it is right off the highway, so if you’re unaccustomed to city sleeping, be advised. Thank you again for a wonderful stay!

This property makes Red Roof Inn seem like the Ritz. How did it ever earn two stars, when it should have been rated zero? To say this motel is bare-bones would be an understatement. Save your money, go elsewhere.

Found they also have bigger apartments that have a weekly rent.

Absolutely charming couple manage this small but conveniently located motel and suites. Room had small kitchen sink, microwave, flat top stove, 65" TV with local and satellite stations and, for me most importantly, a full size refrigerator and freezer. Just a few minutes from the beach. Very reasonably priced. I'll definitely be staying here again.

Place was clean and well kept. Beds weren’t real comfortable but good enough to get by for my 1 night. The air conditioner was a little lacking, but I like my room cold at night. Worth the price.
