The Front Desk lady was rude. I'm sorry I didn't get her name, but she was there during the day weekend shift alone. She was abrupt, never smiled and seemed as if she was having a bad day. She really needs to get another non public facing job. The front desk people are the first point of contact for your hotel, and makes the initial impression. Hospitality is critical.

Good location I paid and booked the bigger room. They lied to me and gave me a smaller room saying thats an upgrade. Clearly on the photos it was the room that was next to me was empty thats why I was able to see through the window that it was exactly the room I have booked. They gave me the cheaper room with no windows at all. Scam

The location Bugs in the bathroom, I think they were termites. They were all in the bathroom sink and the window. There was a leak in the bathroom around the bath tub.

Honestly if you want to pay $300 for a hotel room on the beach with no dishes and no coffee filters and no coffee they do serve good breakfasts but that's if you wake up early enough the place is great way too expensive on the weekend It was very quiet and relaxing and very close to the beach I'm from Michigan and stayed there twice and wasn't really happy with it but the price was good during the week but the weekends they're all the same they trying to rob the poor man that's trying to have fun on vacation

Best feature- wake up and walk to the beach.

The room was very clean and was a very short walk to the beach. We never found the pool but we were just there for 2 nights. Definitely worth the money and would definitely stay there again.

Overall it was clean - I ended up staying at another property than greniers which was 3 blocks away. Not very convenient knowing that I chose the location because I was working near by. - not easy to find the reception when you arrive. - suppose to be someone 24/7 but nobody early in the morning for the check out, so you need to go back to the room with your luggages. - shower was very small

Place was nice and comfortable not going to deny it the only thing is that is not equipped properly since there is no shampoo conditioning there is no paper towel. There are no cops no utensils. There is no at least complementary water by besides that it was good.

I always love staying here! Perfect spot on Hollywood beach :) the rooms are updated, check in is easy and it’s truly a perfect little getaway. Will be back again and again!

Parking was a mess and the room smelled like smoke, even though it was a non-smoking room. The Wi-Fi only work one out of the three days I was there. It was not a good experience. The best thing about it was that it was close by the beach other than that, I would not recommend.

Very out dated, office is 2 blocks from the hotel area, no ice, bed uncomfortable and did t feel safe. Breakfast consisted of bagela and bread oh yeah and orange. You must also pay for parking unless you want a ticket from city parking.

The people at the front desk were incredibly rude. The only reason i would not stay at Hollywood beach hotels again is because of the nasty staff. Everything else was fine. Could use an extra pillow and towels. No door on shower, so the water gets everywhere. No internet connection, had to use my personal hotspot.

Very very large room with dining area, kitchen a bachelor pad. You had to to to front desk to get kitchen stuff. Place was big and basic, needs a paint job and a few adjustments but it works. location, size and bed, shower had lots of pressure.

So the wait to check in was outrageously long. Not enough staff! Staff was rude and when I asked for a remote to watch TV (there wasn't one in the room) it was never brought to us. There were very sketchy people hanging around. Room was cold. Not a 7.0 out of 10! More like a 2!

Loved the courtyard where our room was situated and where breakfast was served.

I noticed in the morning the building was right next to the beach I didn't stay in the building I booked. The managing office placed me in another building upstairs. I had to drag my oversized luggage to the second floor. Once in the unit, I noticed that the toilet had smeared feces over the toilet seat, the bowl and tank.

The location was the very best part, 2 minutes walk to the beach and night clubs, shopping and restaurants were very close

Extremely sloppy, dirty walls, cracked bathroom accessories, the door was dirty and broken, the wall socket was broken. Also, the breakfast was terrible: bread with cream cheese from a jar handled by all the guests and something like orange juice, but it was something else that tasted bad. I would go back to the beach, but not to that hotel (or another of the same group).

I also have not received my $100 deposit back. I stayed 2 different nights & got the first deposit back but the 2nd I have not yet received. Great place to stay! I hope they have a meeting with their employees in the office about being nicer to people who spend their hard earned money with them.

You need to pay a security deposit plus some trumped up charges. Breakfast is a shame ( basically bred, jam, bad coffee) 👎👎👎👎 and also very confusing. The windows and doors and every thing there is very old you can feel everyone on the street and you can hear you're neighbor as he is inside you're room. The bed and all the furniture is not comfortable at all. You have to pay for parking 👎👎👎 Basically nothing is good about this place expect the location.

Awful. Bugs in the box spring and what I’m pretty sure was blood??? They didn’t care and refused to give the service and parking fees back. Don’t do it.

First off, I've stayed here twice and knew what I was booking when I recently booked it. I know it's a bit run down, I know the staff is at best annoyed to help... So my dissatisfaction isn't based on that. The location is amazing to the beach, restaurants, boardwalk ect and the price is right. When I stayed previously they had a gym, when I booked on line it says they have a gym...they do not have a gym... I was told it was closed for repairs, it is gone from where it was on the property and I can not find it and it is no longer on their map. They also claim to have 4 pools, only 3 on the map and only 3 could be found. I very much dislike being sold one thing and then getting something different, I booked here exclusively this time because I didn't have a car, but knew they would have a gym for me to use.... I do not like running/walking on the boardwalk as exercise nor did I want to pay to rent a bike. The week day breakfast staff person who appeared to be possibly in charge of the cleaning staff was amazing... other staff meh. I traveled alone as a female and felt safe in this area and safe in my room. My room was small, but I booked it expecting that, the one thing that was missing was any type of drawers for my clothing. I had a little table, a small fridge with freezer, microwave, sink, stove top, all of that was great, I also had a king bed, linens were good, bed/pillow was comfy, towels, shower great both water pressure and hot water!

They kept me away from Greniers. There was a bait and switch with my room. Room was at 1915 N. Ocean Drive #47.Room door hinges had to be replaced, hot plate worked some of the time, the first time I used toilet paper, the holder fell apart, not enough outlets in room, shower curtain fell down, ceiling fan didn't have a wall switch.

I liked the location and privacy.

Stay away. They will block you from checking in and still charge you for the reservation. I called the police on the manager for stealing my money since he wouldn’t refund after not allowing me to stay due to credit card issues for the deposit. They are crooks and low life thieves. All the little hotels attached to this management team should be avoided.

Great location - close to the beach. Enjoyed the small kitchenette for making snacks & lunches. Nothing fancy about this hotel, but it was clean and staff was helpful during my interactions with them.

I would not recommend this property to anyone. The Grenier motel (not hotel) is affiliated with Hollywood Beach Hotels. They have 24 motels in the Hollywood Beach Area that have different names, but all look alike when you click on the online pictures. I checked into the Grenier's motel the first night and the location was very unsafe. 1) As I unpacked my bags and started getting dress to meet friends, one of the staff members walked into my room without knocking. He used his card key to enter the room. 2) I complained to the front desk and they moved me to another room closer to the office (across the street). I was happy about that, but now I had another problem, "The curtains". They did not fully cover the front window and if someone was passing by and looking into my room, they would be able to see me sleeping or undressing. I had to call housekeeping. Wilson who is head of housekeeping wasn't really listening when I told him about my concern. Once I explained my initial experience (about one of his staff members walking into my room without knocking, he eventually did send someone to fix the new issue. It was missing a third black out curtain. They should be efficiently checking the rooms before they rent them out. The Hollywood Beach Hotels needs to step up their game and provide a safer and cleaner environment for their customers. People are paying money for rooms that are not clean and smell bad. They need a better cleaning staff or have them trained on how to clean.

Horrible stay. Prostitutes walking around ..freezing pool . kept my deposit because my son came to bring my charger and they rhought he was staying

The room we stayed at was very nice and close to the beach, microwave and small kitchen were great as well. One complaint is that the place seemed a bit dirty, nothing crazy but definitely smudges on the walls etc. closet was also a bit dirty, other than that nothing bad to say at all.

Staff was professional and very friendly. Proximity to the beach, excellent.
