Parking is confusing, staff was unfriendly and unknowledgeable, not helpful at all! The rooms are DISGUSTING!! Stains everywhere, room wreaked of mildew and weed, got allergies while in the room for just 2 hrs. Bathroom had a ball of hair stuck on the bottom of the door. The sheets had stains on them too. They refuse to refund me my money since I checked out the same day I checked in. I will NEVER stay here again!!!

Seriously sketchy vibe, some rooms seemed to be permanently rented by some folks who seemed Brett down and out. Not sure I felt 100% safe there. Not appropriate place to take children.

The pictures of the hotel are deceitful. The property is run down. I can't begin to emphasize how bad this hotel is. I was afraid to leave my room because of the condition of the door lock in my room. The bathroom wouldn't stop leaking water had to shut it off to be able to sleep. I checked out early it was that bad.

It’s close to the airport,if you take an uber to there it would cost $10-$25. The people on the next room where so loud. The people in the lobby where so friendly and helpful.

We went to the front desk to ask if we could get new sheets, but the staff were so rude and unfriendly. Also, the parking lot is behind the hotel, really dark at night. I didn’t feel my car was safe there at all. They even said the hotel wouldn’t take any responsibility if anything happened to my vehicle. I will never stay here again.

The property was not what it looked like on the website. It had very poor amenities. Water was overflowing from the bathroom toilet. It was honestly disgusting and I need a full refund.

My room was dirty

I liked the pool area. The rooms had roaches, stains all over the blanket and couch. The whole hotel smelled like weed. The lady at the front desk was extremely rude and aggressive when I asked a question about parking. Parking was difficult as it was not well lit. The price was ok but that is all.

This place is fine if you need a place to stay before departing on a cruise. It was clean. The staff was nice enough. The pool looked good. There are places to eat within walking distance. Not the Ritz Carlton but not bad for the price.

The property was very nice for the price. It had a fridge and microwave. On the downside: Contrary to the listing, there was NO coffeepot in the room and it could not be requested after 7 PM. I asked for an extra blanket - NO extra blankets. But the real downside was the housekeeping staff: They were outside my room at 5:30 AM, banging doors and carts and I dont know what, and holding a conversation at FULL VOLUME for 30 minutes. That was completely unnecessary - How could you not think that people were trying to sleep at 5:30 AM? Rude and inconsiderate.

This was not a good experience. The property was nothing like the picture. Please proceed with caution if you are considering this property. We did not end up staying there

Cat poop all on the chairs and stuff stains on the bedsheets none of the towels match. They’re all different afraid at the end you wouldn’t give me my money back so we checked out and found another hotel. I wouldn’t recommend if for anybody there was a lock box on the front door, it was a terrible shape.

refrigerator, microwave, kitchenette On the minus side: -no cups were in the room at all to drink from or to use when you brush your teeth. -One small trash can for entire unit -Only one tiny bar of soap provided so to wash hands or to shower you have to move soap to bathroom sink or to the shower. -kitchens had 2 bowls and that was it. No soap, no cups, no paper towels -young woman at window in the morning was very short, not friendly, no humor or personality

There was a cockroach in the room, the drapes didn’t close and there was bright light from the pool shining into the room, I booked a room with a kitchenette and their wasn’t even an In room tea/ coffee maker. The bathroom had peeling paint, holes in the wall from removed dispenser which wasn’t even patched up. The property needs a full refresh esp for the nightly rates they are charging. I was with my children and left within 15 min of arriving

Talk about sketchy. Lady at front was not hospitable. Couldn’t have cared less. Rooms were disgusting and smell of damp cigarette smoke. When I called to front desk to let them know there were burn holes in my bed sheets and comforter her response was “ll make a note of it”. They didn’t say sorry let replace them for you. Nothing. They just left me hanging. Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had. I shoulda saved my $350 and slept at the airport.

There were multiple hairs in my bed. So, I didn’t feel comfortable covering with the sheets. The next day, I mentioned it to the front desk attendant and didn’t care. I would not stay here again.

I asked for two extra towels, I was told they didn’t have any, I also asked for an ice bucket but was given a small plastic bag instead, the tv in the room wasn’t even hooked up, after asking several times to be moved to a different room they reluctantly did it, terrible experience.

When I arrived at my room, I noticed it was very warm inside. The air conditioner was on, but not working. The room was very dated and musty smelling. The bedspread should not be used in a commercial hotel as it was like a fuzzy old blanket. The closet had no doors on it, the TV did not work, The tub had rust and mould in it. The showerhead was the dirtiest thing you’ve ever seen in your life! It looks like it would cause diseases it was dirty and there were stained and ripped chairs. The grounds are in poor condition as well. The patio tables are stained and dirty. The landscaping is a joke. The tables and chairs weren’t set up properly and just kind of scattered about randomly. The pool was dirty and had lots of black stuff on the bottom of it. It was late, so I stayed for a brief rest as I was tired and then got up early and left. I made it clear. I would not be staying for the week. Highly do not recommend this place it is in very bad condition.

Staff was nice but amenities were very poor. They were out of coffee cups, no hot water at lobby coffee machine, guest card not working for room and gate, no shampoo in room, not enough towels and tissues in room, broken light wall switch with exposed electrical wires, and the list goes on...

Stayed for one night to catch a flight out of the country. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. It is 10 mins from the airport. Parking could be improved.

I paid over $300 for this room for one night, and have never been so scared to stay overnight in a hotel.

Ladies at the front desk were trashy too, didn’t even have any sort of uniform or wear a name badge, half the time there was a sign at front desk that said “be back in five minutes” but they were never back lol. I called the front desk from my room and never received an answer, and I called them before I checked in as well, no one ever picks up the phone. Probably one of the worst management & customer service experiences ever.

This is the first time that I have ever left a poor review for lodging! With that being said, this was by far the worst place I’ve ever stayed at being on a vacation! For starters it’s not in a very good neighborhood, although close to the Hollywood strip and not far from the beach. The room had no place to put garbage… the key barely worked half the time. The chairs by the pool were dirty and worn out!! There were some shady folks hanging around, smoking weed, etc. The money I paid was so not worth it!! In my opinion, they stole money from me!! This place was absolutely filthy!! I could go on, but why… they need to tear it down and start from scratch!!! BUYER BEWARE!! My best friend usually goes to Florida with me and I know his sentiment is the same as mine!!

The place was clean and office staff was good. It is a motel however, not really suites. The gate from the parking lot which a key swipe is required to open was broken and the gate was accessible to anyone. The pictures on booking.com were not true to the condition of our room. We asked for our room to be cleaned one time during our 4 night stay. The floor was mopped with a bucket of dirty water, I witnessed this, with no cleaning solution. This caused our feet to be filthy . We had to wear shoes in the room. The bathroom sink appeared to be falling as the caulk was pulled away. Also, no coffee maker as advertised.

Our Room had a musty smell. The Air conditioner did not work. The pictures did not represent the room as our room was very dated and in only fair material condition. This hotel is garbage! We changed two rooms due to their horrible conditions and ended up changing the sheets ourselves. The managers are not on site during weekends, and the staff can’t do anything to assist you. This place is dirty—they often don’t change the sheets after guests. It’s pretty bad! However, the location is okay.

Staff was okay, room was decent enough but the safe don’t work and all the card operated gates near our room didn’t work either so having to go all the way to the entrance to get in and then all the way to the back sucked.

Air conditioner when turn on makes noise. There's a crack go along the bathroom sink and the wall. The room door lock card was out of order. We need to ask the receptionist to lock and unlock the door as she keeps the room key. One bedside light socket did not work. There's only one electrical socket for guests to use.

The building was old and run down, the neighborhood where you park is scary. We brought all of our luggage in to the room because we didn’t think it would be safe overnight in the car. We just hoped that our car was still there in the morning

The hotel had little to no signage, and it was difficult to find the parking lot. Upon check in, we were charged an extra fee despite paying online. That would’ve been fine- had we known there would be an additional fee. Then, we’re walking our child to our room and there’s a couple arguing, smoking, and drinking right in front of the doors to the room (rather than moving away from the doors a bit). Then we get into our room and there are hairs on our sheets, brown smudges on the walls, the mattresses were uncomfortable, and we were counting down the minutes to check out in the morning. With the additional fee, we could’ve stayed at a significantly nicer hotel than this rundown motel with makeup on for the same price.

We booked a room with a kichenette as we were staying there for 9 nights. Not only did we not have a coffee maker & tea kettle, the kitchenette had hardly anything in it, no cookware at all, no pots & pans, no cooking utensils, no utensils period, no forks, knives, or spoons. The first night we checked in late so just ordered in food but wasn't given any utensils with our delivery and there were no untensils in our kitchenette so my partner had to eat her salad with her hands. Literally all there was, was 1 coffee cup 2 small plates & 1 large plate, nothing else. There were no cleaning supplies either. No dish soap, no wash cloths, no dish towels, no nothing. The small refrigerator in the unit had a bad smell and had a thick layer of ice in the small freezer compartment.

It was nothing like the pictures. It was dirty and disgusting. I did not even go into the room, the lobby said it all. They refused to give me any amount of refund and I booked the room abt 15 minutes before I got there. Expedia said they would reach out and see if they would refund anything. Was surprised to get an email 10 minutes later saying they spoke to whoever and no refund. Pretty obvious Expedia did try to speak to an owner/manager

The staff were lovely. They were kind and tried to help but they just. Didn't have the tools or equipment. There were no cooking implements or cutlery in the room. The lock on the door had been ripped out and replaced multiple times. There was a sticky substance on the bathroom floor. Security doors didn't work. The whole place was dingy and beat up.

There were NO washcloths OR handtowels in the room. How can you not provide these things? Also, no drinking cups in the bathroom or kitchen. The toilet seat was missing a connection and about to fall off. The bed was made so that the sheet was ON TOP of the blanket (old and terrible) so there was no sheet between you and the blanket. Do they expect you to sleep with that dirty thing on you? Only 1 of the 3 access doors had a working key lock to get in, so one of them was propped open with a styrofoam cup allowing access to everyone (in the world). There is no coffee in the room OR the office. And the office is closed from until 8am so if you lock yourself out you're screwed. There was a hooker on the street in front of the hotel when I left in the morning. Not a pleasant stay.

Staff was great, but this isn’t a five-star property. Parking is free with a pass, but it is not easy or convenient. Two floors, no elevator. Rooms are comfortable, but not luxurious. Priced higher than you’d expect for what you’re getting.

The room was spacious but we had a king size bed with 4 small size pillows (smaller than even standard size). There were no washcloths in the room, had to go to office to ask for some and they had no hand towels. There were no cups in the room for brushing your teeth. The room has no USB ports. The ice machine is in the office but there are no ice buckets in the room. Seems newly remodeled but kind of shotty. Ok for a night but I wouldn't want to stay for long.

Not a location I felt safe at , strange people in and out and walking around. If you’re going to go to the stadium they’re 10 plus miles away and plan on a 40 min drive to get there. The three pillows we got on our king size bed were the size of couch pillows and hard as a rock. They didn’t even give us a sheet on our bed.

Not sure why this hotel was rated so high, maybe for certain clientele it has a nice hourly rate. The hotel wreaked of strong chemical cleaning fumes, fabuloso maybe? We had to keep the windows open frequently, there was no extra towels upon request, when I went to the front desk to get just one wash cloth, she handed me some random mismatched colored washcloth, Even though the room was a double, there's only enough washcloths for one person. The kitchenette did not have sufficient kitchenware for meals or cooking, so getting this hotel for the kitchenette was pointless. It's better to stay at extended stay or a sonesta hotel.

I was not happy with this property. The pictures are very misleading. Looks like a nice place to stay and you get to the location and looks like its an abandoned building. The counters are in lobby but no breakfast at this property. The pool was dirty from cigarettes and weed in the pool. The property strictly states the non smoking on facility, but rooms clearly smelling like drugs and smoking, the front desk staff was notified of the situation and they informed me that i should be fine and not smell anything from their rooms because my room was on the other side of the facility. This place is a joke. I would have liked to change hotels but they would not let me said it was a non refundable situation. I think that the drugs being smoked and done on the property should have voided that situation. I had 2 towels in room with 1 bar of soap . No wash cloth, no shampoo,. The air conditioner was cutting off all night. And you received one sheet blanket to cover with. Im very disappointed in this hotel . Never would i ever recommend this facility.

I had a 2 night stay, the first night was great but Saturday night brought loud music from the club nearby that rattled the windows until midnight. I was also upset that there was a $100 deposit for the key that wont be returned for 5 to 10 business days.

Desk staff were dressed in just street clothes. She read my room number out loud! My room was tucked in the corner of the first floor so I thought that was promising. Room seemed clean but very musty. Kitchenette area was splattered with food of some sort and there was little bugs inside the mini fridge. I didn’t stay long enough to look at the restroom because I went into panic upon opening my room curtains to see a house right outside the window and someone working on a car in their driveway. I could touch the resident if the windows opened ! This made me feel very very uneasy overall as a solo female traveler. I immediately made the decision to find somewhere else to stay because I felt as if I couldn’t even leave my room ! (And I’ve traveled solo plenty of times ) So don’t let the good reviews mislead you. Cheaper isn’t always better. Spend the extra to stay a few miles up the road in a safer,better area. I wish I had taken photos to prove my concerns even though I left the property within an hour of checking in.

The property has a hidden check in fee of $90. The don't take American Express. They tried to charge my bank card four times with suspicious charges, which were denied. I saw two water bugs running from under the bed. Bed sheets seemed unwashed and dingy. Homeless people walking into the property at all times because the security gates were broken.

Great stay at this no-frills hotel. Front desk was very helpful and friendly, and you are within walking distance to Publix, coffee, and the restaurants and bars of downtown Hollywood. Definitely recommend if you’re simply looking for a quiet place without all the bells and whistles.

This area was so scary, sketchy & dirty and drug-infested it was an easy decision to forfeit the two rooms I paid for (non-refundable) and go somewhere else. Live & learn but at least use Google Maps Streetview before booking this. Just because they charge a Resort Fee, does NOT make it a resort. Will not make that mistake again.

We stayed for two nights on a family trip. While the room was clean, there were several issues: there was no garbage bin in the room or bathroom, the air conditioner was very noisy, and the blanket had an unpleasant smell and was not clean.

He said we store them in a folder because that’s what we have to do in the state of Florida. Room was sketchy, bed was itchy and the shower was shallow. We were standing in there as if we were subway surfers hoping we didn’t fall through. Would not recommend. No trash in the room..

Mold is visible on the ceiling, very musty smell inside. Linens had dirty stains on it. There was a party happening outside in the pool area with alcohol bottles everywhere. Our family did not feel safe, as alcohol consumption happened late in the night and party noises were over the top.

I was charged an additional $190, of which 100 was a deposit that still hasn't been returned. $90 for room cleaning, but no one cleaned my room in 4 days. When I checked in, the floor was probably washed with dirty water, and there was an incomprehensible smell all over the room. The chair was very dirty with some stains and the computer chair, the whole seat was also stained with food, apparently from old customers. When asked why there was no cleaning, they said that I needed to call and ask for cleaning, but if I didn't call, I was charged exactly everything, I didn't understand why. No one cleaned it, so you don't have to pay! They just charged me $90 out of the blue!!! There is no service, I would call it a place for homeless people!

Very clean and comfortable. We did not have a garbage can in our room? We just set all our trash on the kitchen counter. Also there was an empty vending machine in the lobby. So we couldn’t even get a water before bed unless we did an Uber Eats or walked 1/2 mile.

The area is good. It’s near of the beach, downtown, Publix…Everything. The room was pretty clean and it has all the amenities: microwave, mini fridge, hairdryer, iron,safe...I’d suggest to put two more big towels. The parking was a bit tight but free which is really nice. It was a good experience.

The staff was helpful and friendly. It was a bit scary being outside of the fence once dark though with many homeless walking around. Someone staying there also had the police called on them and had several cops there. Many of the areas smelled of marijuana even though the whole building was supposed to be non smoking.

Second time staying and they didn’t disappoint. The the room is clean and comfortable. Staff was nice and helpful. Will continue to book this property.

The hotel is well run - clean, comfy beds, and all necessities available (blow dryer, iron, safe).

Mediocre hotel on the border of a sketchy area. I selected this property because of the 8+ rating from prior guests. Not sure how. It’s a Rodeway Inn after all. I should not have been surprised. The young lady at the front desk was nice. The beds were nicely made and the bathroom towels were clean. Beyond that, I cannot imagine how it has a rating above 6. No elevator. Half of the doors to the complex are not functional from the parking area. Parking is awkward. Floors in the room are slippery as if washed with old/pre-used cleaning products. Rooms are very tight. I don’t know. I suppose that is what $225 gets you nowadays.

The service was terrible. We asked for 2 additional towels because we stayed 2 nights and that was refused. Roaches in the room and the floors were filthy. No maid service while we were there.

I love this property very convenient nice and quiet front desk very welcoming would recommend to anyone. I will be back soon.

Smoke stench and AC to close to my face

Great deal for price. Nothing fancy but clean and quiet.

Not bad had a good rest , they had a pool , coffee machine and safety box also a mini fridge , great price

people were nice as could be but just a poor location and not a safe feeling

Nice big room with Kitchenette. Very clean.

We liked it, it was clean and we could walk to the supermarket nearby also restaurants around it

Bad parking so don't go anywhere at night, other than that the room was very clean and neat.
