This is a great basic choice if you want to be in the Hollywood area. We were visiting the Bangladeshi consulate and it was an easy 20 minute drive. We plan to return to see the sites.

Check-in was smooth and they let me know when I checked in that the "jacuzzi" in my room wouldn't be working, that there was no water and i'd have to go to the liquor store nearby if i was thirsty. WI-FI DID NOT WORK IN MY ROOM! "Jacuzzi" was broken. Air conditioner kept going out. Parking isn't guaranteed. I paid $150 for a night thinking i'd get a good room versus staying in a $50 hostel but clearly I made the wrong choice. Didn't even have water. Couldn't access pool. This place is a complete sham.

It looked decent from the outside but inside was terrible. It’s was dirty! Our first room smelled like sewer as we walked in so I had to go ask for a different room And the second room was also dirty The walls were dirty our AC vent smelled like mildew when we turned it on. Our Lock to the door was broken. not the padlock but the one above it so we slept with a chair under the door handle to be on the safe side. The floors were tile but felt like there was oil on it idk what that was but it was gross The restroom was decent but when you flushed the toilet it had an awful smell of sewer water but definitely not as bad as the first room. The staff was wonderful and our room was very clean. We got new towels every day which was nice and there was a working ice machine. At night it could get very loud and when we had to leave in the morning, we once found a bumper sticker on our car which was not ours. Also the neighbouring street was sometimes a bit sketchy.

Where to start. They do not have enough parking for guests. you could end up parking way down the street in not so great an area. ( staff member did let me park in handicap spot when they ran out of parking) sidewalks with lot of high weeds etc...No vending machines, no water, no coffee, I paid for a standard king and got handicap room that was a total wreck. front door was beat up, only 1 hanger for clothes, broken table that had no chairs, Chair by desk was ripped up on cushion, air conditioner was held together with blue duct tape, wall lamp walk tilted way to right, table next to bed the top was glued on crooked, bed was creaky not comfortable, bathroom no water pressure in shower, sink was cracked many patches and marks on the walls, shower head was broken, everything about this room was the worst I have ever seen and I have traveled everywhere in the country. electrical outlet busted, I have pictures.

For the prices of the rooms and location from Universal Studios it’s definitely above average. We were surprised at how clean and nice the rooms were. Just found difficulty with dealing with the front office. When it came time for check out which is at 10am we arrived early in an attempt to extend our stay but were met by the gardener who was super friendly btw. He had informed us the one actually running the property wouldn’t be in until 12pm so we just booked somewhere else down the road for cheaper. But overall a decent experience

Very good cozy room.

Mostly good. Mostly clean and comfortable room. I stayed 3 days, and had issues with no hot water twice. It was resolved, but only quickly once. The second time took a while, causing me to have to shower elsewhere.

While the room is spacious, the AC shuts off automatically after a period of time. Also the water pressure isn't great for the showerheads There's no vending machines on property and you'll have to go to a local liquor store or 711 nearby. If you plan to use the pool, it's incredibly small, so be forewarned. The staff were pleasant enough, but I'd make this a one-night stay at most.

The Room was very clean & spacious. The Bed was comfortable! The property could use some cosmetic work, but overall it was a good choice. I would def stay again.

Clerk couldn't find reservation at first. Requested & I provided $100 deposit which I was not aware of before; requested & took copies of my ID & credit card; had me fill out & sign an application which required all my personal information. Room shower had mold and chipped caulking in shower & bathroom unfinished walls, chipped pain; tAir condiditioner control panel was cracked & full of dirt. When checking out, someon parked in no parking zone so clolse to our car that was in handicap spot, we couldn't enter from passenger side of car. Was not provided a receipt or zero balance for the deposit they took. There was food left in the small refrigerator when we arrived. The bed was clean and comfortable, but floors & furniture dusty. This place did not meet the 7.2 review rating I saw, & based my selection on, by a long shot.

Being able to book this hotel was amazing!! The staff was very helpful and understanding!! The activities I wanted to do were all in a very good distance from the location of the hotel!! As well as a safe area!! I would say one thing if people can be respectful of others sleeping!! Meaning turn down and stop blasting music. The parking lot and rooms are only but so far from another!! Thank you to the staff most importantly!!

Best value for the money. Staff was kind and professional. The only missing thing was a coffee maker in the room. Other than that, I definitely recommend this hotel for the price.

The office itself also felt neglected. We've stayed at other hotels from this same chain and they offer continental breakfast which this location did not. They did not even offer coffee which would have been nice since it was rainy and cold on the day we stayed. Good location to various fast food places, Target and Walgreens. Very close to the Kaiser facilities and hospital.

The neighbors are so loud, very thin walls. The bathroom was not clean and very small. The queen bed felt more like a full it was just kinda small. And the staff told us if we dont leave our car there the pur parking apot could get takem by public who arny paying to stay. Also we would have to pay for pur car to be on a meator all night away from us.

The motel was clean, and the bed was comfortable. We appreciated that the room did not have carpeting and that it did have a small refrigerator. Paco at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The location was convenient, and there is a really good thai restaurant and a small grocery store just down the street.

Nice place for a one night stay but not longer.

Check-in was incredibly easy. The clerk friendly and was able to assign me to a wheelchair accessible room as my reservation didn’t show that I requested that option. There was always a handicap parking space available. The room was very clean and I was happy with it! My only suggestion is to perhaps replace the bed as squeaked and I feel like perhaps it could use a new mattress.

Staff was nice and attentive. There’s no free breakfast, no coffee, and WiFi didn’t work. The bed and pillows were not comfortable and I kept hearing this sound on and off. It was good for a nights sleep even though the rest was disturbed with noises from other guests. Don’t like to write these kind of reviews but I love an honest review.

The property is a good value for the money, especially for those attending shows at the Greek Theatre or other nearby venues. Some outstanding Thai restaurants within short walking distance. The AC worked just fine.

Loud stomping from people above me, it was like they wore bowling balls for shoes. Do not get a room on the ground floor. Reported it two nights in a row, They talked to the neighbor and it improved but then on my fourth night the loud stomping returned. Since I did not want to talk to anyone, I sent an email to the hotel asking them to address the issue. I never got any response.

Plastic drinking cups smelled/tasted of soap as they was washed and reused.

The hotel was within walking distance to many different dining options, metro access, and shopping experiences. Only a couple of miles from the Greek Theater and Griffith Park. Rooms were outdated and in need of some repair, but were clean. For the price though, I can't complain since we just needed a place to sleep after our concert.

It was nice and cold in my room despite it being summer time in LA! The guy who helped me at the counter was super nice, explained the neighborhood and parking. Would recommend and will use them for my trip next year!

its was ok and its more of motel than hotel. pool was not clean. there is not sitting area for guest at all. and there was an add on cash deposit of $200 on site out side of reservation no matter what you have to make another deposit cash or card. i used cash and got back soon as i checked out. with card it can be a few days depending on ur bank

The older man who checked me in seemed bitter and a scammer, but a younger man who checked me out redeamed the place by clearing things up.

Staff were friendly and helpful, the stay was overall pleasant and exactly what I was looking for.

The location was good as it was closed to LA children's hospital were I had to meet someone. The room lacks basic necessities like chair to sit on. The worst thing was the sink which kept clogging. I called the reception and a guy came in and tried few tricks but neither worked. They offered me to move to another room but I declined as it was too much hassle for me to collect my belonging.

The are is not the best , but for the price is very good I felt safe

It was ok, it was an older place, but it was clean. Beds were a little hard for me. No coffee pot or continental breakfast. Nothing great about it. Stairs were straight up! I wouldnt stay therd again.

The room was ok, but the toilet became clogged several times during our first night. Even after it was fixed, it became clogged again. After bringing this issue to the front desk, we were given a different room. No issues with this new room. It was actually an upgrade from our previous room. So the management made the situation right. The rooms are severely outdated though. A little money put into the rooms and they would get 5 stars pretty much all the time. The location of the hotel is perfect for everything you want to do in Hollywood.

I can tell you this, I have been to 5 star hotels and been treated as if I was just another person, this place does not treat their customers like that. I felt welcomed, from the time we arrived, until the time we left. Thank you for everything and next time we're in LA, we'll be staying here.

Stayed one night after a concert on Hollywood Blvd. Affordable, 5 minute Lyft ride to the Hollywood Walk of Fame or a one mile walk (doing so at night is not for the faint of heart). Extremely clean room, exceeded expectations. Was able to get an on-site parking spot but was advised that one wasn't guaranteed, so prep for possible street parking.

The front desk person acted like he was doing me a favor allowing me to check in at 1 pm rather than 3 pm without charging an additional fee. If the room is ready, you're not offering me anything special. I can come back after 3 pm if you're going to act all high and mighty.

I didn't like that they didn't care for what i had to say people keep banging on doors loud yelling the customer service was not at all great & top of that they didnt even let me know a day before about a situation on a bed & it was very small instead of being full size.

Keycards didn’t work so they switched me to another room. The bed was totally old with dips and squeaky loud that whenever you turn you can hear the springs move, Lamps and tables looked like they’ve been around since the 80s. You can’t put anything on the table because the screws were loose and it tilts. They obviously made refurbishments with remodeled bathroom and light fixtures. But everything else in the room was old and dated. The upholstered chairs had holes, scratches and stains that looked like they’ve been around for decades. They provided ice buckets with lining, but the ice machine doesn’t work. I stayed here 6 months ago and the ice machine didn’t work then either. Why provide ice buckets?! Uncarpeted floor doesn’t make for a comfortable stay at all,

I booked this property on short notice and was pleasantly surprised by the many perks the location provided. I was able to walk safely to the Hollywood Walk of Fame and surrounding top Theaters with the Hollywood Bowl and Dodger Stadium nearby.

This was a great place. The staff was excellent

It was as to be expected for the cost. The people were helpful and nice . The ice machine, vending all didn’t work. It was just a little ghetto. The area is sketchy but it was super cheap and they allowed us to early check in for a fee which was helpful.

Good location and parking

The cons I have is parking .. when u come on late the receptionist would grab your car keys and park and park your car infront of parking spaces to make room. There was a stink smell coming from the sink eveytime you ran the water. The beds are okay but can be inproved.

No ice machine working

The room was pretty decent. Hot shower that didn’t cut out! The bed was one of the most comfortable at a hotel I’ve had, and the air conditioner was great. Unfortunately, the bedding had some weird white stains.. the drawers on the nightstand didn’t stay closed and constantly opened leaving me slamming my legs on it in the dark. Finding somewhere to eat that wasn’t sketchy as heck was difficult. Luckily it’s not an expensive Uber ride to nearby areas. The only thing that really grossed me out was the piles of long black hair ( my partner and I are both blonde) stuck in our sheets, blankets and in our “clean” towels. On top of it? The silverifish!! Omg!! Just disgusting. For the price, it was fine- minus the few things.

For the money I paid for, I am not upset. I actually had a really good stay. The workers were nice, the room was cleaned everyday, the motel seemed pretty clean. The only thing I wasn’t a big fan of was the area around. It was very scary walking around after dark. I highly suggest ordering food if you are hungry at night while being there or getting an uber. Honestly I have never been spoken to or treated the way the office staff treated me during our stay, it felt extremely sexist and it was borderline harassment I will never be giving my business to this specific location ever again ,seriously they need to do better!

Motel is ok. The bed is horrible!! Basically a piece of plywood and a sheet. Broke down, sagging, and so noisy. The price is astronomical for a terrible bed. Go elsewhere!

When going to check into my room that I had booked online and called the night before to confirm I was not informed until check-in that I would have to pay $200 deposit separate from my room fee. I paid in cash and they told me they would check my room before I left in order to get my deposit back, which is understandable considering how people can leave the rooms however I was aware it was a non-smoking room so I Went downstairs to smoke outside on the street every single time I wanted to smoke, when it came to check out , the man checked my room and told me that I was smoking in there and was not getting my deposit back , He was watching me walk from the street to my room the whole time as I made eye contact with him every time I went out to smoke outside on the street. He ended up giving us our deposit back and told us that we can never come there again, which is fine. I would never want to, but what a terrible experience.

The guy who checked us in was VERY dry. He said they charge $200 security deposit. When I stated that online noted it was $100, he said, "We don't go off of what it says online". He definitely did not care. Their ice machine did not work and seemed like it hasnt worked in a long time. House keeping ladies were Awesome and nice. We definitely will not stay there again

Fourth stay. Provided a room. Nothing special. Usually only stay about 16 hours. Cheap

During our second night of stay, the ac went out at 3:00 am, since the room still is cool, I decided not to call the front desk to let them know that the ac went out ( which they will just transfer us to another room at 3:09 am with all our belongings in tow ). When I told them about the issue upon checking out, the staff at the desk did not even apologize for our inconvenience, in fact they were blaming us for not reporting the issue at 3:00 am telling me that staff is always present at the front desk to take emergency calls ( all hotels will answer the phone 24/7, it’s a given ). No apology no offer of anything ( I would never ask for any ). I will never stay in this hotel whatsoever the next time we visit LA.

The swimming pool is unusable because it’s dirty the room smells of cheap perfume and no circulation. There’s no ice. There’s no vending machines. Lift the sheets and find stains on the mattress. There’s nothing except a cheap room in a bad neighborhood.

The staff was very rude from the moment I walked in. They sit in the office and just watch you. I had two rooms and one of the room doors were very hard to open. One room was clean and appeared a little renovated the other room was the complete opposite. Vending machines and ice machines were broke. There was trash and boxes all over the parking lot making it hard to park.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The check in was very good, we called ahead and requested an early check in and paid the early check in fee ($28). The rooms were nice and clean. There are amazing taco trucks up the road and it’s a 10 min walk to pharmacy’s and target. There are tons of really good Thai restaurants right around the corner. It’s actually not that bad of an area either.my husband and I even took a walk around midnight and we had no issues. It was great for the kids. The double rooms were very spacious. It’s also only a 10 minute drive to universal. Staff are very kind and accommodating. 10/10 will absolutely stay again.

The pool barely exist, parking is an issue, there were stains on the bathtub and sheets, the mini fridge kept making loud noises in the middle of the night, and the towels were rough.

Great spot for what I needed! The only downside this time was I got a room that smelled of smoke which isn’t my favorite.
