We called ahead of time before we made the reservation to make sure our vehicle would fit in the underground parking. They assured us it would. When we got there, our vehicle was too big and the staff was very unhelpful in helping us find a new location for our van. Other than that, the rooms were clean, and the pool area was great.

Great hotel and very close to everything. Room was spacious, clean, and had a beautiful view of the pool with a large balcony. The parking at the hotel was very convenient as you can enter and leave whenever. The elevator is a little outdated and small but it didn’t bother us. Overall, a great stay and staff was very friendly!

I’ve stayed in a lot of LA Hotels but I haven’t stayed more than once in most of them. The Pali is definitely one I’d return to. I especially loved the pool area and was up at 7am each morning taking a swim, It was divine. The staff were friendly and helpful. I will say my bed was not made the way I expected but it was ok. Other than that everything was excellent!

We really liked the pool area. We had a little scary experience, in the room where my daughter and I stayed in the early morning we woke up a noise very close to our window and it turns out that they tried to open the window for us it scared us since we couldn’t sleep, we talked to the front desk and the person was very friendly and kind we had no problem changing our room for our safety.

Incredible location and beautiful pool facilities. We booked an interior room but it still felt comfortable and cosy, with stylish decor. Our only (small) issue was that on 1 night out of the 4 that we stayed we asked for housekeeping services - we only had our towels changed.

The breakfast was amazing. The Asian guy who works there is fab and very attentive! The pool area is adorable! I was able to bring my dog to the pool and she met some other paw friends. They played for hrs! No one complained— the staff even brought them water bowls without asking. Great place to work from your laptop as well. Rooms are spacious. Great secured parking directly downstairs. Only thing is they MUST fix the very old elevator. It makes an abrupt stop when it reaches your level. Honestly scary! I thought the elevator broke down lol while I was in it lol.

I loved the aesthetic and ambience of this hotel. It feels very safe, and clean. Our room was quiet and well maintained, check in was efficient and easy, staff was helpful as soon as we got there. There is an in-n-out RIGHT next door, so that was lovely, and location is at a good distance from everything. For Hollywood, this is a decent location, and hotel itself feels safe. It was just my friend and I, and we felt safe here, and getting picked up and dropped off in ubers. I recommend !

The hotel is charming and very stylishly decorated. There is a pleasant room fragrance throughout, and the rooms are truly comfortable, very clean, and feature Dyptique products as shampoo and body wash. However, I had the impression that the shower gel had been diluted with water, likely as a cost-saving measure by the hotel, which I found somewhat inappropriate. Room service was excellent, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The rooms were also pleasantly spacious. The pool was clean, and the sunbeds were always prepared with fresh towels. There were more than enough sunbeds available around the pool. The staff at the reception were generally friendly and helpful. The parking fees for the spacious underground garage were $40 per day, which felt like outright extortion, and I found the price truly outrageous. It was significantly above the average valet parking rates typically found in Los Angeles, making it a very unpleasant additional cost. We did not have breakfast or coffee at the hotel, so I cannot comment on their quality.

The noise from upstairs was unbearably loud, so it doesn't seem there is any sound proofing between the top / bottom and there was a very strong weed smell from I assume the upstairs people. this was the most unsafe hotel I've ever been to and I've traveled in many countries and I used to live in Los Angeles. There was a homeless person sleeping on one of the couches in the lobby and the overnight SECURITY GUARD would not remove him. He smelled up the lobby and made us feel like the place was not safe or secure. I couldn't do work in the lobby because of the situation and when we asked the security guard if he was going to do something, he ignored us. NEVER STAY HERE!!!!

The pool area is good. Near hollywood walk of fame, street foods, chinese theatre. No window in the hotel room which wasn't apparent when i booked it, it was glass so people in the hallway could see inside your room which means it's always has to be shut (very strange). Also hotel room could have been cleaner.

A boutique hotel with very good designed rooms with an incredible bed. Hotel is in total very good. Location is perfect. Yes it very close to Hollywood but also In and out and Ihop is very very close. I was traveling with my family so rented Ford transit. The parking garage could not get it. That I can understand but they did not help us find another spot or an alternative. So we have parked to a very far lot which we have to walk everyday. So if you're gonna rent a big SUV or car I mentioned, think about twice.

Wonderful secluded property offering an oasis in the heart of Hollywood. The hotel has an old, nostalgic, glamorous feel to it and it is so well-located right by the Chinese Theatre. Staffing was rather hit and miss which meant dining options were very limited. The pool area more than made up for that though. Our two-double bed room was small and the bathroom was a couple of feet away from one bed, do not very private. Good value for money overall.

I’ve stayed in Hollywood many times and this was the most frustrating. First the parking situation is a mess. Had me circling the block for an hour cause of traffic. No explanation at all of where to park. Then security talked to me like I was an idiot when I got there. The room has a window facing the hallway so people walking by could potentially look inside your room. It’s so odd. All night I heard doors slamming shut and at 9am housekeeping was banging on the wall next to us and woke us up. There was no where to plug in the coffee machine and when I asked they said maintenance would need to come do it? (They did offer comped coffee for that). The floor was dirty and there was dust everywhere. I had to reach way behind a dresser to turn off a light and there was dust bunnies. Two of us were staying in the room and we were only given one robe, two towels. No towels for the pool. Elevator was broken or not working the entire stay and we had to carry luggage down the stairs. Property looks nice for social media pics and the pool area is really pretty but that’s it. Not worth the price I paid and I am actually going to ask for partial refund. Won’t stay here ever again.

Location was great, room size was nice. Water pressure in the shower was incredible. I had previously written a message about celebrating my birthday and they didn't do anything about it but when I mentioned it again to the front desk they gave us a small bottle of complimentary champagne. Staff just didn't seem to be on it. When I arrived and was clearly struggling with luggage on my way in, no one offered to help. When I arrived to check in I was the only person there and the staff were talking amongst themselves for a while before they got to me. I came super early and was told I'd get a call when my room was ready. I came back hours later but never got a call and had to go to a work event and had I gotten the call sooner I wouldn't have been late to the event. The elevator never seemed to be working and of course was out of service on the last day so we had to carry luggage downstairs. Checkout on the last day was also a very slow process, staff just didn't not seem to be alert or helpful.

We liked the breakfast and coffee options in the morning. They were out of a couple things each day, but nothing too bad. It was great that they brought our breakfast and coffee to us by the pool in the morning, which was a delightful way to start each day. Only things that I wasn’t too thrilled with were the placement of the bathroom sink outside the bathroom and across from the bed. And a bottle of lotion at the sink would have been nice to have. It’s a little detail to miss, but completes the room amenities. WiFi was really slow in our room, but it wasn’t a big deal. Overall, loved our stay and will come back!

The location was also great — there’s an In-N-Out Burger right next door and lots of shops and things to see along the Hollywood Walk of Fame, which is about a 5-minute walk away. It made grabbing food or going out for a quick stroll really convenient. One area that could be improved is the shower floor. The tiles themselves were fine, but the grout between the small circular tiles looked quite dark and could benefit from a deeper clean. I understand this style of tile can be harder to maintain, but it did stand out. Housekeeping also tended to come quite late in the day, usually around 4:30–4:45pm. On days when we woke up early and came back to the hotel to rest before dinner, this timing was a bit inconvenient. Because of this, I think our room was only cleaned about two times during our six-night stay. Another small issue was the window. While we appreciated having a view of the pool, the window itself was quite tricky to operate. Once opened, it was very difficult to close and felt like you had to almost trap your fingers to get it shut, which meant we couldn’t really enjoy much fresh air. That said, we booked the hotel last minute and still had a pleasant stay. With a few small improvements, it could be even better.

One of my favourite LA hotels but it does have its shortcomings. Housekeeping is terrible each stay and ground floor rooms are noisy from above rooms. Rooms are great, excellent location, generally friendly staff and self parking is a breeze. Stylish, fun, clean, while also feeling cozy and safe, despite the very feral location on Sunset Blvd. Figuring out the parking was a little challenging at night, and it was not apparent to me guests are to enter the parking garage before checking in. I appreciated the nightlight being tucked around the corner in the room so it did not hinder sleep. Walls are thin but earplugs are provided in the room. Breakfast was fine, and cappuccinos very fairly priced.

This was the loveliest boutique hotel that I’ve been to in awhile. It’s very updated, cozy layout, beautiful decor, the staff was very kind and attentive, especially the pool bartender. Overnight parking was very reasonably priced, hotel is super close to tourist spots, but not very noisy. Also played really nice music by the pool. I would say my only negative is the fact that you cannot run 2 blow dryers at the same time (2 women trying to fix their hair) without the circuit breaking so we were without electricity for some hours. However, they did fix this as quickly as possible.

Really liked this place. Very cute, clean, boutique. Very laid back, relaxing atmosphere. Location was great. The only negative that I’ll say is, the room type I booked was not available upon check-in, nor was I informed of this beforehand, just put in a different room. Would stay again.

Room booked was not available. Put us in a room facing busy street. We had to call for our room to be cleaned twice. Shower door leaked terribly and caused an issue on the floor for us. Some of the staff was accommodating but other staff made us feel as if we were doing them a favour by staying there. On check out with all our bags the elevator was not working and after being stuck in the elevator, we had to carry our suitcases down the stairs. The elevator was very frightening being trapped inside and we thought it was not up to hotel.com standards.

The staff was unfriendly. In the room, everything was set up for one person, even though the booking was for two (coffee, towels). No one informed us that it was not possible to pay for hotel services in cash. Additionally, the power outlets in the room did not work, which was very inconvenient, as we could only charge our phones in the bathroom.

Beautiful hotel, very clean. Front desk staff provided false information. He said, we would need to park in another location other than the garage on hotel’s property and find street parking due to a downtown event. So we did. Leading to the next day, rushing in the morning and leaving before check-out concerned about our car getting a possible ticket, we see there would have been no issue to park in the garage and the new front desk staff member that day confirmed. So we had stress and a long, inconvenient walk the next day for no reason.

The hotel is obviously nice and new, however no one told us about the extra parking fee which was around 40 extra bucks. Maybe I just missed it in the fine print of things but I didn’t see anything about it. However it was good parking. Staff were friendly some were a little standoffish though. Room was pretty clean except our sink had clogged and when we took out the stopper it was filled with hair. We just left it there cuz that’s not our job. Shower was relatively clean.

This hotel is nicely renovated. Easy to walk to Hollywood walk of fame. We also visited Disney and Universal easily. Good restaurants in the area. We didn’t have time to use the pool, but it looked lovely. Friendly staff. Good underground parking for a rental car. Option of stairs or elevator. The elevator is fairly slow. The rooms were nice and clean. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel's central location, courteous staff, clean room, and convenient parking made our visit to LA more enjoyable. The interior courtyard pool area was relaxing and provided a nice place to get away from the city. It would have been nice to have a microwave in the room. Also, we could have gone without the fridge being filled with pay goods preferring it had been left empty for our own stuff. Some features of the room were strange. The wall space where a narrow 2' poolside window had been installed could have easily accommodated a full size 4' sliding glass door. Additionally the full size glass on the bathroom door left little privacy.

The stylish decor of the room was fabulous. The staff was courteous and friendly. The lobby area (with a cafe for drinks and food) was lovely. The only negatives: the shower water temp never not hot, only cold (after running it for a full 5 minutes to see if it warmed up I didn’t want to waste more water) so I was unable to take a shower. At 9am, either the cleaning staff or employees had a very loud conversation in the hallway that woke us up when we were trying to sleep in. Other than those 2 incidents, it was a great experience.

The hotel looks cute and the location is perfect, BUT there were several issues. The entrance only has stairs, so you’ll need to carry your luggage yourself. The elevator is very old and feels like you could get stuck inside. In the room, the sofa had strands of hair on it, so it clearly wansn’t cleaned properly. The bathroom flooded after taking a shower, and there was a strong smell of wood or glue in the hallway and the room - possibly from renovations, but that should have been managed better for a hotel. Overall, we will not be coming back!

Stayed 2 nights Saturday to Monday for $429, a little higher than I'd like to spend on a hotel, but reasonable given the location. Staff was friendly all around. PROS: -Awesome, retro-modern decor in the common areas and room design. -Pool area is Palm Springs retro chic, lovely! -Rooms are smaller, but well designed, efficient, and clean. -Bed was comfy and slept well since we got a quiet room in the back of the hotel away from Sunset Blvd. -Secure underground parking garage, great for LA! I think it was supposed to be $35/night for parking, but I didn't get charged. -Central location walking distance to Hollywood Blvd, restaurants, bars. Bossa Nova is delicious and reasonably priced! CONS: -Smaller rooms -Local area is normal for LA, but some out of towners might be a bit fearful of the sight of culture, people of color, lower income folks, stylistic hipsters, and the working class. But if you're anywhere near an In N Out, Starbucks, and Chick Fil A, you know you're in a pretty safe neighborhood overall, like this one. Will definitely stay here ago someday!

Great hotel in a good location. Nice pool area. The bar was closed on our first day there due to lack of staff. The rooms are fairly small, they were clean and comfortable. The sink is in the bedroom not the bathroom, which is an issue during the night if you need to use the restroom as it disturbs the other person in the room.

Palihotel Universal is one of my favorite hotels. The rooms are roomy, comfortable and decorated beautifully. We always choose a balcony room overlooking the beautiful pool. The Palihotel Hollywood was excellent in every way. It has a serene and "retro" ambience with attention to detail and comfort. The lobby, courtyard pool area, bar and breakfast area were inviting. The staff is very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Our room was large and well-appointed, and the beds were so comfortable. It is also very quiet. We enjoyed our stay and will absolutely return next year!

The staff is amazing and so responsive at this hotel. The location is a bit awkward and inconvenient with the drive up to the hotel. However we loved the parking garage under the hotel. Hotel was clean for the most part, housekeeping came daily and did great. However the walls are thin and you can hear any noises from upstairs. Also would be nice if they had a hot tub but the pool was lovely. Would love to check out the other hotels they have.

The parts that weren't great, possibly align with the 'motel' vibe of the place- my room wasn't cleaned as far as I could tell during my stay, my bed was made sometimes, but not always, used towels were removed but not always replenished. As mentioned above, when I asked for fresh towels etc, the front desk staff would address it immediately. The communal areas were kept clean and tidy, the location was great to move about from, both on foot or by Uber. The surrounding area didn't always feel safe, so inside the PaliHotel Hollywood was like a little oasis. I think my particular concern is easily rectified, so I would be confident to recommend this to others and i would stay here again.

Valet parking was confusing and we had to go in to ask for them to open the garage door, then when we came back at night to park the security guard was rude and only asked for a room number without verification of any kind. Normally you want parking to be easily accessible but it was not. Our sink was clogged, the tv remote did not work and though they said someone was being sent over, no one came. I also found a small blood stain on the comforter that had been washed. Overall, really wanted to love the place as it is aesthetically pleasing & employees are VERY kind, it’s just small things that could be fixed. For an overnight trip we didn’t want to bother and just wanted to get our stay over with basically.

Hotel is instagram-friendly and that’s about it. It is filthy if you look around inside and out. Upon checking in, I realized the toilet is so close to the shower that I couldn’t sit down, the bed sheets had hair and dirt on it, the sink was clogged, the shower leaked into the main room, and the shower pump bottles were empty. Additionally, the key cards didn’t work (seemed to be a problem for many) and the surrounding area is terrifying with homeless people lurking outside. I checked out after 2.5 hours and found a nicer hotel.

Every stay, the in-room body wash container is empty on arrival. Towels and coffee pods are often not stocked at check-in, and housekeeping consistently overlooks these details. The rooms are also noticeably dusty, and the floors don’t appear to be vacuumed or mopped between stays. For a property of this standard, I expect a more reliable level of cleanliness and consistency. I hope management can address these issues, because I’d like to continue staying here without the same frustrations each trip.

The property itself feels like a motel-version of SoHo House. There are some nice amenities, but do not offset the pretty terrible service. On arrival, no one was there at the front desk; the room (on multiple occasions) wasn't properly cleaned; simple service requests were missed or forgotten. Everything came with a "sorry about that", that felt far from genuine.

PaliHotel Hollywood was a great stay. The place is cute, convenient to tourist destinations and really relaxing and enjoyable. My biggest complaint is that the place shows its wear. It’s a bit musty and the housekeeping was a bit off. They removed the handsoap after our first night but didn’t refill it, we never got a second day cleaning, they didn’t refill coffee pods. Other slight grievances: our room had barely any counter space or hooks to put towels, and the shampoo is a very strong smell we didn’t enjoy. All of that said, the cuteness and ease of this hotel are off the charts. We’ll overlook some of these issues for our next trip and come prepared with our own toiletries.

A couple of things to note for future guests: if you’re hoping for a quiet early evening and your room faces the pool, be aware that it can get quite loud with music and guests enjoying themselves. I’d also recommend requesting a second-floor room, as I experienced quite a bit of noise from the guests above me—lots of stomping and luggage rolling. One small inconvenience: while the room includes a Nespresso machine, the hotel was out of coffee pods for two days. Thankfully, there’s a Starbucks just a few doors down, though I didn’t love spending $20 on coffee that should have been provided. Overall, it’s a very nice, affordable hotel with secure parking. I felt safe throughout my stay and definitely plan to return!

When we took our first shower we realized the body wash was totally empty so we had to request more. We love their pool area, but tried to enjoy it on Sunday when they apparently were holding a ticketed event (which we didn’t know about) so there were tons of people there and a dj that was playing loud club music so it was awful. I feel like we paid a lot of $ to stay there so they shouldn’t hold ticketed events for people outside of hotel guests. Also you now have to request for them to clean your room so we did one time and all they did was make the bed. My dirty coffee cup was still there and they didn’t replenish the coffee. They took our dirty towels but left us with one (there were 3 of us staying there) so later in the evening when we had just arrived back to the hotel I had to go down to the front desk and ask for more towels. They were very nice about it but I shouldn’t have had to ask.

I've stayed at Palihouse West Hollywood and Silverlake Pool & Inn and had pretty good experiences with both locations and would certainly stay at both again. Both of those locations were well represented by photos, descriptions, and reviews. The only reason I didn't book either of those locations again for this trip was because there were not double bed rooms available. I am shocked by the state of the Palihotel Hollywood. This should NOT be advertised as a 4 star hotel. It is a motel in a sketchy location with a new paint job. The hallways are filthy with heavily stained carpets and stink. The double queen rooms are a joke with their nearly nonexistent windows. There was no valet and zero staff to help with luggage. The elevator from the garage is filthy, jumps, and doesn't line up with the floor. I used to be a housekeeper in a hotel and immediately noticed the heavily stained furniture and the gritty, dirty floor, there was zero sunlight or airflow since the window is a tiny little strip that opens just a crack. We asked to upgrade the room because of how bad the one we were originally given was, but no king rooms were available and the other double queen available was just as bad, if not maybe worse with a tiny ~24" tall window that appears to have formerly been a bathroom window inside a shower. We immediately walked back out of the room, didn't touch anything, and cancelled our booking due to the unacceptable conditions, but the manager wouldn't to give us a full refund

I checked in at 4:15pm and the room wasn't ready yet. (Check in is supposed to be at 3pm) I was supposed to have a room with a pool view but all they had ready was a suite (which I didn't need as I was traveling solo) which was on Sunset Ave and it was so very noisy that I barely slept. Also the room had no towels and wasn't very clean. If I wasn't rushing to an 6pm event I would have asked to change rooms. Dissapointing. Staff was very nice.

The aesthetic is great, staff are lovely, the pool is great, coffees and toiletries top notch, and the location is so convenient (if not a little sketchy). However, they only clean your room if you put a sign on the door which I didn’t realise until the last day, so it would have been nice for this to just be part of the everyday service. Also, the walls and ceilings are like paper, you hear everyone’s TVs, phone alarms, and if you’re downstairs you’ll hear your upstairs neighbours as soon as they move. Also it would have been nice to have complimentary water rather than having to pay $7 from the minibar.

Unfortunately, for us, there was a toddler upstairs who stamped up and down in the morning starting at 5:30, which kept us up Also, there was no housekeeping service. I asked maybe six times for towels and to have the trash emptied and it didn’t happen until the last day after four days.

This hotel definitely had its charm and the staff were polite. If you are looking for a hotel that has good coverage in terms of staff, and expect basic requests like housekeeping, towels, soap, etc- you may want to rethink booking. In theory the hotel and services would have been wonderful, but execution and reliability were extremely short. We had used the text messaging service the hotel promoted to request for services which went unnoticed. Even when calling and being assured we were on the list to get our room cleaned we waited 3 days with the request unfulfilled. Opted staying an extra night due to spontaneous plans (we stayed a total of 5 nights) they assured us our room would for sure get cleaned and came back from a long day with our request still not met. Expedia marketed this hotel as a place we would get VIP treatment and that was further from what we got unfortunately. Another thing to be mindful of is the hotel room descriptions on expedia are not accurate, when arriving to the hotel they provided us with a room that was not the room we paid for due to the description being incorrect. Expedia did get us a small refund to try and accommodate for the mishap. This hotel would be much better if management was done well and if the staff had enough support. I can tell they were all stretched very thin- and they were trying to do what they can. A lot of leaky pipes in the hotel garage so be careful where you park.

Its close to the Hollywood Blvd and short cab ride to West Hollywood, plus a CVS is close by (5 minutes walk) - If you need a Uber or Lyft to and from the airport it's quite reasonable. I would say be careful if your venturing out late at night as they are a few homeless people around but be sensible and leave your device hidden just in case but this is near Hollywood so you should always be careful. The other good thing about this hotel is the front door is locked after 8pm for your safety so make sure you have your door keycard at hand, it's also good for added security. There's also a nice bar plus a pool if you want to relax and have a swim or read If you wanna be retro try the Mel's Diner about 2 blocks away (nice breakfasts)and if you like records check out Amoeba Music on Hollywood Blvd, 20 minute walk or a 5 minute cab ride. Or be Rock N Roll why not give the Rainbow Bar and Grill a visit, its about a 10 minute cab/drive away and they do fantastic pizza, its full of music history, you also have the Roxy next door also don't forget the Whisky a Go Go. I would recommend this hotel for the convenience, so don't hesitate, give it a go.

Facility obviously understaffed, no service at neither bar nor cafe during my stay. Frontdesk staff still motivated, friendly and responsive; accommodated for later checkout and deducted daily fees from invoice total, due to lack of services. I do appreciate that. Conditions around hotel on Sunset Boulevard and entire area flat out terrible, trash blowing along the street, run down boarded up graffitied lots, dirty, sketchy to say the least. Unbelievable how the City expects businesses to operate and pay taxes under these shocking conditions!!! Am a well travelled construction industry and hospitality professional, open to consult on this if so desired.

Location is great, however I recommend renting a car as Sunset Boulevard isn't for walking. Daily parking garage with security is $30, can't complain about it. However it's not mentioned when we booked over hotels.com. Staff is lovely, welcoming and friendly. Housekeeping is great too! I'd definitely come back again.

Unfortunately we did not receive the room our reservation was stated as, we stayed three days, everyday we asked for an explanation or a room change. Everyday each person at the desk was unaware of the room layouts, said we needed a manager. The manager never seemed to be on the property nor did they call us like we were told. Another annoyance was the soap in the shower was out, three days of asking for soap, no soap was ever delivered. First day they took our room towels and did not replace them. When we asked they said they were out of towels and we could walk to the pool area and use one of the outside pool towels. Interior cute, decent cleanliness, absolute staff incompetence, while never receiving the room we paid for.

Pool was feral - I’m talking clumps of hair floating around, old used towels left around the area Parking is great Overpriced for what you receive - definitely do better, and the area is bad. Close to attractions, walk of stars etc - but take your life in your hands stepping outside….

The not so good parts: 1. The rooms have ZERO soundproofing. We stayed on the lower floor, and the whole time we could hear footsteps from the people staying upstairs. The walls are also very thin, and we could literally hear everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) that the couple next door were doing. This hotel is NOT suitable for families and kids. 2. The housekeeping service left a lot to be desired. Despite leaving generous tips for housekeeping, the towels were not changed, the bins were not emptied, and the coffee pods were not restocked. A note to international travellers: housekeeping services are requested via SMS, so make sure your eSIM comes with a US phone number. 3. There is constantly loud music playing from the pool area, which continues late into the night. This can be quite disruptive when you’re trying to rest. 4. It took us a good half hour to figure out how to use the TV. They need to make it clear that the TV channels are under “HDMI2” and not “TV”. While the hotel is undeniably gorgeous, for me the negatives far outweigh the positives. By the end of our stay, I couldn’t wait to leave. I normally hate leaving negative reviews, but these things are deal breakers to me and I feel like people should be warned.

I stayed here for 3 nights for a show at the Hollywood Bowl. It’s a little bit of a walk, but we did it all 3 nights. Yes there are homeless people, but you’re in Hollywood… It’s super close to all the tourist junk if that’s what you’re looking for. The hotel itself, it’s over priced but again… you’re in Hollywood. It’s an old hotel that has been revamped to be more of a boutique feel. I stayed here when it was the old place, so it’s for sure an improvement. The staff are all great! Super nice, didn’t care if we hung out with our own drinks, and just really friendly. Underground garage parking is great. They have a mini fridge, however it’s stocked with their things. No food options, and coffee bar downstairs is not alway available. There is a walk up coffee window across the street at IHOP though and plenty of food around. Even with the shady people around, I’d stay here again. It’s again, a bit overpriced, but it’s LA!

It's a nice property, good bed and pillows. Cute design. The pool looks beautiful but it wasn't heated so we didn't get to swim. My complaints: No complimentary water, usually you get 2 bottles of water when u stay at a place like this. No ice buckets. No soda machine. No drink service from the bar after 8. We were never able to get our free drinks because the time restrictions. They wouldn't/ couldn't sell us a soda after 8 even though the bar is a part of the check-in area and the same person mans it. That's just ridiculous.

Nice Clean Hotel, Pool is beautiful and heated. The staff were polite enough, the area is typical LA with a few options for food. But disappointed about not having room service, restaurants on site and barely a place for coffee/breakfast. Also, the rooms are paper thin (so you hear everything) and if you’re are on 1st floor you also hear footsteps continuously.

When I arrived to the area, it wasn’t what I was expecting. I went to the front desk at 9:00 am the next day (check out is at 11:00am) and asked to check out and they didn’t allow me to checkout. I was disappointed because I had no interest in staying and didn’t feel comfortable. I did end up switching hotels even though they didn’t allow me to check out. I could hear the person snoring, sneezing, and using restroom. There was no privacy. Overall, It wasn’t a great experience.

It’s a cute boutique hotel, I could see how it is trying to keep everything cute and delicate as in Palihotel chain, staff were nice but the stay here wasn’t very pleasant. I didn’t get my room key for the whole time I was staying there because they had some system upgrade or something. It was just so inconvenient and insecure to have to always ask someone else to open the room for you. I was told the upgrade would be finished soon but it was just delayed again and again and turned out they ended up giving me a key that didn’t work at all. Also by the time I checked out and asked for the invoice, they sent it to some random email instead of mine. This was very unfortunate and disappointing.
