Absolutely nothing!! There was cockroaches everywhere. The bed sheets were dirty. It smelled like smoke and urine. There was a homeless man right outside the door. It looked more like an abandoned room than a hotel room. We left 15 minutes after checking in. Staff was not helpful and dismissive. It was disgusting!! There was cockroaches everywhere. This was the worst hotel experience I have had so far, and I travel a lot. I only stayed for one night and checked out early because I felt very uncomfortable staying there. The room smelled like smoke, someone knocked on my door several times, there was loud music and screaming during the night, and I was not comfortable with the condition of the bedding. Overall, I found the experience disgusting and I would not recommend staying here. What disappointed me even more was that I did not receive a refund for the remaining nights, even though I left early because of my experience.

There were drug needles all over the property. People passed out on the stairs. No towels, no hot water. Cig burns in the sheets. Brown satins on the pillow cases. Nastiest place I’ve ever been in.

They gave me the worst badroom. The worst badroom that I’ve ever stayed in my life. Dirty, no towels, really small and claustrofóbic room, smelling bed. I ask to change the room and they don’t even care about it and just said wasn’t possible. Terrible experience. I’ll never recommend this place.

It's Sunset Blvd., and that said, it's a place to rest your head. The sheets were not that great, there were no chairs in the room, the windows don't work, the blankets have burn holes, stains and were very worn, the mattress cover is filthy (doesn't look like it has been washed) and the room is dirty. Other than that, it is just a place to rest your head as I mentioned before. Great location to Hollywood walk of fame, stores and places to eat. AMAZING LOCATION. The people around the area are a bit sketchy, but they leave you alone.

Parking was very limited here. I ended up parking overnight at their sister property, HWood for $17/night. Room only had a bed and small night stand, along with a very used towel and fresh soap bar. Good if you just need to grab some rest for a night, but I wouldn't recommend for a longer stay.

Nothing from that place We were there for only five minutes; the place is very dirty, foul-smelling, and overrun by addicts who watch everyone who arrives to stay there. It truly leaves a very ugly and unpleasant impression—it is not recommended for anyone. We left immediately, and I am writing this so that action is taken regarding this matter and something is done about it. Families traveling from out of town to visit Hollywood: do not choose the Budget Inn Hotel for your accommodations.

Didn't get the opportunity to stay there. Was turned away by receptionist because she said she had no booking for me. Still waiting for reimbursement for money I paid out for room. Accomodate me for funds I have paid out for a room I didn't receive. It's been over a month and I haven't heard from or received help or payment. Please contact me ASAP.

For the most part, pretty alright. It's a good, budget friendly motel to stay at and is surrounded by several good options for food (Panera, Raising Canes, diners, etc.). Cleaning could use some improvement, but it's not awful. Only complaint is that you probably shouldn't expect a TV remote in your room. I asked for one, and it didn't work.

I booked a non-smoking room, but they gave me a smoking room instead. I experienced chest pain and difficulty breathing when I woke up the following day. On the second night, I left the window open all night to get some fresh air. The AC is old—you can't even see where the power button is—and there was no remote control.

The place was full of homeless/transients laying under the stairs and all their stuff was in front of the stairs going up to the second floor, Room smelt like it had been smoke in, was supposed to be a non smoking room. Parking was in a super small parking lot, not made for a full size truck.

Horroble the complex owns two buildings one is compleyely trash it is for drugs and prostitution the other building is sligthly better

So one might say $600 and the other $550. One may charge for hour late check out, one may not. Very shady business dealings. So when the rate is $50, which is all its worth, I put up with it but when they raise the rate on a weekday, its not worth it.

When trying to check in to the hotel, a drug dealer was blocking the entrance and yelling at me preventing me from being able to check in. I'm obviously not going to go back after that experience, yet expedia and the hotel refuse to refund me saying I should have talked to the hotel at the time of check in (When the drug dealer was there) awful disgusting and insulting experience.

I actually i booked by accident this stay.. The room very simple only two towels and there was no flooring towel for the bathroom so when guests shower lot of water on the floor also the toilet sweater base was all tags with blue tapes also there is no refrigerator to place any kind of drink you buy for the room so you any kind of refreshing drinks on the room also the walls lot of colors all kind

The room smelled absolutely horrible. The air outside smelled better as the air inside was thick. It was so unbelievably dirty too. The bedsheet closest to the mattress was covered in blood stains and we tried finding a zipper to see if they even take that sheet off to wash it and we couldn’t find one. This means they’ve never washed that sheet. We were afraid for bedbugs. Sleeping on the street would honestly be cleaner than sleeping here which is exactly what happened. We ended up sleeping on the street cause we couldn’t find anywhere to stay by that time.

this hotel is a rat nest, not even worth 10 bucks, it was stinky, not clean, we only spent like 10 minutes there and decided to move out.

The room walls were dirty, there was no chair or desk, there was something on the pillow, a dead wasp on the floor. There must also be something unsavory going on because both nights I stayed there people came knocking on the door looking for someone. Would not consider staying there again and honestly wish I could get a refund.

Pros: this location is Prime location to Hollywood blvd and all the action, 7 min walk! It’s super convenient to get to major fast food restaurants within a 5 min walk! Super nice staff and very understanding! Cons: It was just my daughter and I and we went to Hollywood to celebrate her sweet 16 birthday on a “mommy and me road-trip” We had a bottom room with some sketchy characters around and it smelled like cigarette smoke. I told the office and they moved us upstairs immediately. They were extremely accommodating! All in all I would definitely go back again!

I got scared because someone started banging on all of the doors - Since it was barely "cleaned", the whole room smelled it was sprayed with the strongest Febreze yet somehow still had the scent of cigarettes. It made me dizzy and it took hours for the room to ventilate the smell away. I then asked for a change of rooms, but they told us that it wasn't possible and only gave us a change of blankets and some towels. I only stayed for one night with my family, renting a total of 3 rooms, but it was the worst night of our trip!

The bed was not the right size, the tv didnt work with the remote in the room rendering it unusable, the bathroom was unbelievably cramped to the extent i had to sit on the toilet sideways to not hit the wall in front of it, the floors had soft spots and were not level, the bathroom door wouldnt shut and hit the floor when open, the room door latch plate was missing screws and the door wouldn't shut on it's own as well as was hard to lock, the "parking lot" is suitable for a max of 4 cars safely and they painted in undersized spaces for 7, the bed cover blanket had stains as well as holes melted in it, the window-sills were stained, the shower curtain was too short and leaked all over the floor, overall this hotel stay cost 3 times what it was worth for 2 nights.

The area around there is very dirty, but there's plenty of food and stuff in walking distance. There's a chick fil a at the corner, and a really good taco place a few blocks away. The room itself was dirty, and kinda gross, but I didn't see any bugs inside the room at least. If you can afford to stay somewhere else, stay somewhere else. There are several hotels around the area that looked nicer. Even the Hollywood Hotel next door, which I'm guessing is owned by the same people, looked nicer.

Room overall was clean one bed however only had sheets and despite repeated requests for a blanket we never got one. The smoke detector was ripped out the wall when we had arrived and the place smell badly of cigarettes room wasn't labeled smoking room.

Only negative is they don’t have a parking lot so to find parking can be tricky on a public busy street & there’s also parking meters there but it’s a whole thing and shorta complicated to explain. It’s only free certain times and certain days. The receptionist explained it very well tho when we stayed doubtful about how the parking worked there.

Hanging all around property. Rooms are horrible with noisy, AC units.And traffic noise. This property caters to a lot of transient people. Rooms are substandard. I would not recommend staying there.

The property feels unsafe as anyone off the street can walk right up to your door. Many items (pics available) were in poor condition - burn hole in duvet, broken a/c housing, missing grommets on drapes, horrible mattress, and no towels. This is definitely a bed in a room that locks with a bathroom, and if that’s all you need, like I did, it’s a solid choice.

Paid 90$ for the room and last minute they say they require a 100$ deposit so i ended up paying 190$ for a rinky dink room w mosquitoes inside! The deposit finally came back to me but after 7 days later!

After inspecting the bed for anything wrong off, we noticed stains/dirty spots on the sheets on the bottom like it was attempted to be hidden. There was also a used soap bar in the shower. Personally i don't think i would stay again, but for the price it is ok

The room would have been on par with a New York studio that you see online… super tiny with just enough room to walk around a queen size bed. Shower just big enough for a single person to stand up in and turn around. You have to squeeze between the sink and the wall to ge tin th shower. Parking lot only fits 6 cars but the driveway is just barely wide enough for a single vehicle to fit through and if the lot is full you get to practice reversing down a narrow alley. It wa cheap and that wa the ily saving grace.

It was ok the front Desk guys were rude very rude but other then that it was ok not the nicest but I did pay under $100 u get what u pay for the floor was so dirty I’m not sure when was the last time was cleaned. And the restroom was so loud there toilet was running the whole time

Had an original booking for Budget Inn, it was relatively cheap so I knew we were going on not expecting much. Upon arriving to the hotel, keep in mind parking is very limited and tight. There was no one to check in, and had to walk next door to H-Wood Hotels to do so. Check in was pretty smooth. We got the key for the room, and we were taken back by how small the room was compared to the photos shown online. It was the size of a child’s room. The room consisted of a bed, small bedside table, and TV that only had a handful of channels. The curtains for the window didn’t even cover the whole frame. AC unit was covered with dead bugs and other particles. Stains on the cover and sheets of the bed. Not sure what of, but definitely not somewhere you’d want to lay your head on. Bathroom consists of a small shower only big enough for one person to stand at a time. It was so uncomfortable to sit or stand anywhere in the room, we had to ask to be switched. Once again we go next door and ask if we could be moved to this side. I showed the check in guy all the pictures of the uncleanliness of the room, and offers to move me to H-Wood Hotel under the conditions of paying the difference of rooms. At that point we agreed in desperation to find anything better. We ended up paying an extra $40 for the switch. We get into the room to discover the bed was unmade as if someone had stayed there. It was late in the night so decided to just settle for the night. Neighbors didn’t let us sleep.

Staff were very friendly and helpful . The downside is parking is limited . Rooms were simple , but clean .

The people at reception were wonderful, and the price for a last minute trip was perfect. But the setting was pretty rough. Lots of people wandering around outside at all hours, someone outside my room watching TV on his phone at 5am, people arguing with each other early in the morning in the hallway. Definitely not a place I'd recommend if you have other options. But I didn't, and it was good for that.

If your budget is highest priority, Budget Inn is ok. Lower cost than all the other places I checked. It is a very old building, and the aesthetics are zero. It is not attractive. Rooms do not even have a chair and table. But for me, having lived many years in 3rd world countries, it was ok. TV was fine. Bed was fine. The room had been cleaned, but, if cleanliness is a major issue, this may not be your place. I stayed 2 nights, and might stay there again.

It was not what it looked like in pictures. Bugs in washroom. Floor dirty. Washroom is tiny literally. Towels smelly room smelly. No hot water during evening and night all even during day u wait for 30 mins for hot water. Sink was broken water was clogged. Terrible experience honestly!

The parking was behind the sketchy building. Only like 10 spots with alot of Sketchy people hanging out. Room was blank white walls. A bed. A tv. And an a unit. Very prison like. Bathroom... Knees touched the door (I'm not a big guy) so I couldn't even shut the door if I sat down. Sink touched toilet, shower touched sink. Ssoo small but everything was clean and worked. Once again... Very prison like Had to be up at 530 so crashed around 10. At 11 someone above we was stomping in circles and then kept smashing something On the floor. Sounded like the whole bed. It litterly shook my bed! This went on for 3 hours. I called the "front desk" and he said he'd take care of it. An hour later it was still happening. Called the front desk and he said he knocked but everyone was sleeping. Said "nobody and making noise". I told him to come in my room and listen. He did and he couldn't believe what he heard. Said he'd take care of it. An hour later... It was STILL HAPPENING! Called again... He moved me to another room... Yeah at 330am I had to pack up my room and move to another room because "the guy upstairs is drunk". Fine.. I moved. Once again bare but much bigger. 3 beds. Immediately layed down to sleep for 2 hours before I have to wake up.... Wrong!!! There were people outside in the parking lot taking ALL NIGHT and so one above me violently puking over and over.... I gave up at 5am and left. FML

Upon arrival, we had to drive down a narrow street where there were only 6 parking spots. Already looking super sketchy. While walking up to the room, vomit, all over the stairs. Gross. Checking the room, was ok, pillows were sketchy. Bathroom. I had to sit sideways!!! There was no leg room. I definitely will not be staying here again. Thank god it’s only one night!!!

There was blood on our sheets and we left a day early. We were promised our security deposit back and never got it.

Flore was stinky so I called and asked for a cleaning. They never came to clean the room. The blankets have holes in them. They don't care for or maintain the property. The rooms are so small the bathroom door can't close.

I wasn’t expecting pristine, but to find some kind of small, black mold on window caulking was the least of my concern. When I transferred to the sister hotel next door, it was a slight better upgrade. The bathroom needs to be re caulked as there was a serious smell of mold that was always in the bathroom (even when I left the bathroom fan on) I wish I could get a partial refund or something, because a room at almost $200 is obscene. Especially considering the bathroom door is falling at a corner.

I appreciate the convenient location, with everything within easy walking distance or a short drive. The fresh exterior paint enhances its appearance. Check-in was straightforward (using the neighboring hotel). I anticipated a basic room at that price, suitable for a one-night stay. Unfortunately, the room was quite unclean, particularly the bed linens and pillows. The bathroom was even less satisfactory, with visible mold and dirt; we were hesitant to use the shower or towels, and therefore did not. A small cabinet would have improved comfort, but it was not provided. The air conditioning unit was quite loud and old, and there was an unpleasant odor. I wish I could offer more positive feedback, but unfortunately, there is little to commend. While I didn't expect luxury at this price point, basic cleanliness and furnishings would have been appreciated.

AC was broken, Towels had stain marks, No chair or sitting arrangement, no closet to hang clothes no reception had to go to hotel next door to check in no one was present when I checked out did not know where to leave key. They took $100 for incidental but for what I did notsee any requirement for it.

I was bitten by insects while in bed. My body developed red patches that were very itchy. I haven’t been feeling well for about three days since the bites.

The staff at check was actually nice but after that, everything was awful. This area of Sunset Blvd is full of riff raff. There are only 7 parking spaces with a super tight driveway to navigate down just to see it full and have to 14 point turn to get out of. Almost all of street parking are tow seats so good luck if you have a vehicle. On one night I parked at the sister motel next door (the same one you’ll check in and out of for here) and went in to explain I had done so and that I’d be checking out in only 5 hours and was responded to with so much attitude and told no (the spot I intended to use stayed empty for those 5 hours). The room has floor stains all over, no desk/table/chair just two beds. The bathroom was even smaller and tighter to get in and use than the parking. The room looks like maybe once upon a time they started repairs to it and just stopped since they are used hourly more than nightly… I will never stay here again and do not recommend that anyone else does either. To be fair, I picked this motel because it was closest and cheapest to a show I was attending but I wish I had done more research so I could have avoided it. Live and learn, luckily I lived though it and definitely learned!

10/10 for being extremely close (less than 10min walk) to Chinese Theater (Celebrity Stars). However the walk is not in the best area of town and could spook you if you are not used to city life. Motel parking was super small and I can see them easily not having enough spaces. Our room had 3 beds which was what brought us to this motel. Beds were comfortable and felt clean. Bathroom only had two towels (which makes no sense when there are 3 beds). No hand towels or washcloths. Air-conditioning unit was old and loud but the loud was actually good as it helped cover the outside noises as walls are very thin. Our flooring was vinyl which I prefer over carpet and there were no major odors. No table, desk, drawers or closet. I would totally stay here again just for the location and price. I am not picky at all and my main goal in staying at a motel is price and proximity to my excursions over confort, i'm just there to sleep and shower.

I would give it no stars if I could. The room had clearly never been cleaned and there was black mold in the bathroom. There are lots of homeless people hanging around outside and people tweaking at the hotel. My flight arrived at 12am so I stayed till the sun came up and checked out. I was not refunded for the remaining 2 days of my trip. You’re better off staying at motel 6 down the street. They’re about the same price and are supremely better.

I checked in and checked out quickly and still lost half my stay charge. I had every right to check out that quick. Couldn’t park, light fixture that fell on the bed before I got there it was still there walls were disgusting. This is only part of it.

I didnt have hot water the whole time i was there, i ended up getting a cold from the room i was residing in. The heater/ac unit was extremely dirty from what i could smell. The shower wasnt accessible, it was one of those square showers with the toilet blocking the only entrance for it. On top of that, the pictures of the property on the website were of the motel next door. I felt so dirty staying here, i felt so disgusting. Never again.

While they were putting a new Fresh coat of paint and pressure washing the property the towels were old and stained. The floor was caved in the entire property was in very poor condition.

I did not enjoy this property at all really. It felt unsafe and really sketchy. I was desperate for a room and that was the cheapest place I could find so I booked it. Inconvenient parking and small and narrow, but I have a transit van so I’m surprised it got in and out with some maneuvering. Other wise just a bare bones room that has a janky bed and a janky bathroom situation. I would suggest having your own bedding and pillows. And wipe surfaces before you touch them, the black light reveals much. It is close to the sites in Hollywood so there’s that.

The property will be much better if the exterior does not appear so rundown (like other "budget" inns nearby). The interior is well enough, but will be better if there places to hang stuffs (towel, jacket etc.).

The floor had burnt marks on it from past drug use I guess. Outside the windows is just a brick wall covered by curtains. I realize the place is cheap so I honestly did not expect luxury of any kind. The check in staff were very polite.

This place has two stars too many. Disgusting in every way. I could not get past the smell....we just walked out and found another place. Obviously, we did not get a refund. We found Motel 6 nearby for a few dollars more. Do not be fooled by cheap price. This place should not be open to the public.

Toilet is very closed to the wall, not giving enough space to sit comfortably. Floor was dirty. On the other hand, AC worked. You get a bed, bedsheets, and a tiny little table. The very minimum.

The rooms themselves are clean however the common areas of the hotel are not. The building itself is very run down and foreboding. To put it in everyday parlance, it's a bad vibe. There are lots of sketchy people in the neighborhood, even during the day you won't feel safe. The front desk clerks were nice. The internet didn't work well. Even once i had the correct password it was difficult to connect to the network. While this is an affordable option in a convenient location, i would not recommend it.

Great staff . Motel is centrally located to walk of fame and so many other things and food options . I will stay here again next time. Only thing that sucked a little was lack of parking . I had 6 women and 2 cars and it was hard to get parking for both cars.
