It was my birthday and I had to end up getting changing the first ring because the first time snug like marijuana, but the second room was good and the only issues is that they were doing way too much construction. We heard every single thing going on on the roof, it was really loud but they did go ahead and wait the resort fees so that’s OK but it was just like a lot of calling, we would have to do in order to get stuff resolved.

Buen hotel

The pool area was beautiful, especially in the afternoons with the relaxing music and amazing ocean view — definitely a big plus. The whole hotel had a very family-friendly vibe, which we loved. Another great thing is that the beach is literally right across the street. The pool bar was excellent too, with really good drinks and tasty lunch options. There are also many good restaurants and the boardwalk nearby, so there’s always something to do. We enjoyed our stay so much that we ended up booking an extra night. Would definitely come back!

Staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly. They seem stretched thin and overworked to be honest. The restaurant was a disaster, they couldn’t get our breakfast order correct and also sent someone else’s order to our table. Cream of the crop was the condition of the room. The linens on the beds had what looked like blood stains and most definitely were not changed from the last guest, just made up. The carpet could use a good vacuum and shampoo. The balcony was so dirty, it clearly doesn’t get cleaned. I stayed at this property 9 years ago and it was amazing. My stay over this past weekend was anything but good. Also, clean the phones, they are so grimy. From what I learned, it is now owned by a third party, it is no longer Hilton owned and it shows in lack of care for the property.

It was a very good experience. Great location very close to the beach (across the street), and yet far enough to be a peaceful retreat from all the hustle and bustle.

Family had a relaxing time.

My main complaint was that there was no button on the phone in the room that said front desk. Maybe it’s because I don’t travel much but I didn’t just know that you press zero. I had tried doing that and it rang multiple times, but no one picked up. Also the food was absolutely terrible. For convenience sake, I had to order room service a great deal and everything was consistently terrible – except for the fresh orange juice. The price is for room service, of course were ridiculous although the staff that delivered were wonderful

Everything is well maintained at this hotel . All the staff are very nice . Any issues that might arise are always handled immediately by the staff.

The room I stayed in was terrible. Toilet stopping up, sink leaking they came and fixed the sink from leaking but that just caused it to have little to no water pressure, the shower water didn’t get hot, and they kept charging my card after I left with no invoice. I DONT RECOMMEND this place

The parking for the valet is a 5 secondssss walk behind the valet stand and a hotel parking?? So you pay 45/ night to get a car i could get in 10 seconds. The hotel was great but these “extra charges add up on final bill which i find outrageous

Had an issue with the people next door smoking on the balcony and having the smoke come into my room so I couldn't enjoy the balcony and when I told the front desk, not once, but twice, they said they are not allowed to knock on their door. Parking was valet only, and there was no free breakfast. The free cookies were good, but the hotel didn't offer enough for me to want to stay and enjoy the amenities. I went to the beach instead and used the ameneties of a nearby hotel instead.

The property was overall nice and the staff generally was kind. However, I had made a reservation noting I had an infant. Called prior to arrival to request a crib. Was told it would be noted on my reservation and the crib would be in my room. Asked upon checking in for a crib and was told it would be brought up shortly. An hour or so later I asked again for a crib as I went to dinner. Still not one when getting back to my room. Was told they might not even have one for me at that point. So now I’m worried about where I can safely let my 7 month old sleep. I would have made different arrangements if they had been straightforward and told me a crib was not available. They eventually “found” one for me and brought it to my room at 830-9pm. Way past bedtime for my daughter. Was not pleased. Offered a “snack” bag for my trouble. No thanks. Do better. Parents have enough stress while traveling with young kids. Don’t add by not being up front or doing your own due diligence/job.

So they had our room ready an hour late from what check in time was supposed to be and the lobby was filled with a long line of people trying to check in. Pool and crowd isn’t as nice as I thought it would be but other than that it was a decent nice stay. Room was great a little dusty in areas bed not perfectly made but ok! You can’t take any outside food or drink by pool that’s a little stupid to me but that’s fine

Front desk staff was nice , though seemed a little scattered as if they were understaffed but they did their best. Pool bar staff could have been a little nicer but drinks were good. Towel lady was very sweet. Didn’t get to use beach amenities due to construction being done on the beach. I would stay here again.

Room was fine. We only stayed one night until the unit we had rented for the week was available. We did not use the beach or pool and would have refused the service fee if we could have.

However, this one is one of the best ones I’ve stayed in. The staff were very helpful with the luggage on arrival and stored it for us while we waited for the rooms to be ready, they also gave us some complimentary dessert slices and water. The rooms were spacious and very clean and found the room was very kid friendly. The pool and dock was nice and scenic. It was perfect as it was close to the airport and they provided airport transfer 24/7. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Extremly inadequate! When we arrived there was no front desk to greet us for 5 minutes. The room didn't have enough washcloths & no face towels. The glass door nor the glass balcony was cleaned. Housekeeping came to clean our room after 5pm when we had returned... we asked for water & sent her away because we were tired. In addition to the bathroom wall needing to be cleaned. A towel covered the dirt spot. We didnt get any sleep every night because there was a loud buzzing noise that sounded like the elevator was broken all day & night. Our lamp had light bulbs that didn't work. They had someone give us new bulbs. I asked to be moved around 5am, the gentleman said he could move us however, when we came after the kids were up to be moved 2 hours later we were told no they were at 98% & the guy was new, so he didn't know he couldn't change us... very upsetting. The hot tub only worked our 1st & last day there, it was luke warm, yellow & had sand in there. It along with the pool needed to be shocked, some muratic acid & ph checked. Nobody did that. The pool & area wasn't cleaned nor cared for. There were no pool attendants. Drinks were still on tables from the day before. We had to wait for clean pool towels everyday. My daughter cut her foot on something in the pool area.. yes her foot was bleeding. Also dogs being at & in the pool, gross. The restaurant menu & food is now terrible, over cooked, lacked much luster & many items removed from the menu. Not a good stay.

The only thing we were disappointed with was the beach access. It was a bit of a walk and the signage wasn’t the best. We really did enjoy the pool. I know we can just walk inside to the bar, but having the tiki bar open every day would have been perfect. Dinner at the restaurant was nice and relaxing. We will be back. Thanks for the memories.

Our stay was ok, but the service could be better. The room had limited towels, and after the first cleaning , there were even fewer than before. Communication was difficult because the cleaning staff did not speak English. Also, there were not enough lounge chairs and umbrellas by the pool

I don’t know what was going on at restaurant but we were NEVER greeted or sat for breakfast. Maybe a lack of staff but no one acknowledged me or my family. Very disappointing. Regardless this was a 10 out 10 experience especially after dealing with getting off a cruise ship in Miami that morning.

The room was very comfortable. the bed was very soft, not what I prefer. I liked that they provided 2 bottles of water each. The breakfast in the restaurant was very nice.

The bathroom door in my room wouldn’t close

Our bed was broken and had a huge dip in the middle of the mattress, the springs were definitely broken. Then we were charged almost $100 more than what was offered on hotels.com reservation, and when we questioned the front desk and they were not very helpful because their English wasn’t great so there was a communication barrier there and it was just not worth wasting my time because the conversation was going nowhere.

When check into our first room, it was not the room I had booked. The hotel is not kept up. It looks like it needs new upkeep like the drywall better cleanings and the cleaning crew was not happy to be there. there was also a transient sleeping on the chairs between the restaurant and the Pools.

Food & cocktails were mediocre and overpriced. In the future, food quality and cost is better in the city. The hotel stay and location were good. Across the street from the beach with chair & umbrella service.

Highly recommend. Hotel is more so in hallendale beach. HReasonably priced. Walking distance to beach. Prepare to bring your own towels in case they run out. The chair rentals closes promptly at 4:30. They will sweep the chairs right from under you. Pool by the Oceanside with a bar. Onsite dining and conveniently located next to a combo store and Publix down the street. Only had two issues which was a slight smell in the room and I wish I booked a longer stay. Definitely look forward to

We spent two nights at the hotel and the room never got cleaned and no fresh towels. The bathroom door in our room not only wouldn't lock, but it wouldn't stay closed, so we had to use a heavy garbage bin to hold it closed. When we were checking out I waited in line to ask about 3 charges that hotel charged to my credit card that I didn't make. After about 20 minutes, a Manager came by and told me all the hotel systems were down and no information could be checked, she said she will call my mobile number the moment the systems will be back online (I am still waiting for the call). No - I would not stay in this hotel again and wouldn't recommend to any of my friends to stay there.

The room was clean and had a great bathroom with a low rim step in shower which was helpful for my elderly parent. The pool area and the waterfront location to the Intracoastal was lovely. This place smells musty. The lobby bathrooms were not well-maintained. Walls are very thin and the mattress is not comfortable. There was a domestic dispute in the hallway late at night. The hotel was responsive when we called it in and sent the police up, but it goes to show what type of clientele this place serves (i.e. trash). This place is not nice. Will not be back.

Clean rooms, friendly staff. Every day we had fresh towels. The Pool is beautiful! I will say breakfast is restaurant style and the food is 4/10 better off eating off site and exploring. The fees are cut and dry so cant complain there if you plan ahead. The mandatory Valley parking was abnoying at first until you see the location. Then this becomes convenient for the price! Had a 4day stay with no issues at all..beach was a 3min walk, plenty of shops and things near by. I would book again in future.

Couldn’t check in as flight turned around due to medical emergency. I only was able to arrive on day 2 but hotel insisted on charging us for day 1, even due to a medical emergency. They could have done better. Can’t stay there again for this reason.

But very noisy- construction was next door. Laundry shoot door slamming-right across the hall. Room coffee & cream was not restocked 1 day.

Overall, I would stay there again.

The view was of a wall with a sliver of the ocean if you leaned over. The maid service was appalling, they skipped a day with no service. It would have been 2 days if I hadn’t complained to one of the managers. We requested 2 towels from reception which never arrived so we had to go down and collect them ourselves. I don’t recommend this hotel and will never stay there again.

Great resort and value for money. Right across from the beach. Nice coffee shop, pool and hot tub. Clean room. Could have replaced new towels and stocked more coffee. Friendly staff and valet service was excellent.

As a workaround, they initially offered a sofa/rollaway bed, but what was actually provided was a twin bed, which was not adequate for two children. At that point, we had no realistic alternative late at night. What made the situation worse was the front desk staff behavior — the receptionist raised their voice at my wife, which was completely inappropriate and added unnecessary stress to an already frustrating situation. To their credit, Expedia customer support did step in and provided partial compensation, but the experience at the property itself fell well below expectations for a Hilton-branded hotel. Overbooking issues happen, but guests—especially families—should not bear the consequences, and staff interactions should always remain respectful. I hope management addresses both room allocation practices and front desk conduct going forward.

Overall the property was great. My only gripe is the expensive valet parking you’re basically forced into, and the rooms could be updated. But overall I’d stay again, it’s in a great location.

We got the corner room with the ocean view wrap around balcony. There were some issues with the drainage so there was a lot of noise & leaking so that sucked. The room is stunning though! There’s a girl who wears a bad red wig at the front desk who’s very rude but everyone else is amazing! Guillermo who is a doorman is the nicest person on the planet!!!! He’s so kind & helpful and we LOVED HIM

The bed was clean and comfortable, and the room was adequate; however, the refrigerator had rust on the bottom of the door. The staff were friendly and helpful. Parking is an issue, as it is for most places in that area. The pool was calm and relaxing. Overall, it was a good stay.

The manager or owner came out to greet people to make sure that everyone was being cared for. The pool area bar staff were phenomenal. The room, especially the bathroom was very nice and the staff was very helpful, or tried to be. However, the hotel seems very dated and likely understaffed. I tried calling several numbers from the room (front desk, assistance line, etc.) and no one answered. The little market in the lobby was open some days and not others. Restaurant was slow. I enjoyed my stay but would probably not return.

The restaurant staff was poor. While taking our order, he was walking away while taking the order. When he came to check on us, he was walking away while checking on us. He never smiled and never made us feel welcome. The front desk service was poor, and barely answered the phone when we needed something. Take a nap early morning and there was beating and pounding in the room next door. I don't know what that was. And Valet decided that they didn't want to park our car. With $42 per night and they won't even park my car? $30 resort fee when they're not on beach. Sad!

The restaurant and bar staff were exceptional. I felt like they became my friends by the end of the week. We had to book this one after a nightmare booking at another place and Doubletree absolutely turned my nightmare into a wonderful trip.

Nice view. Horrible customer service. The hotel property is not the issue. The way staff deal with customers is the problem. I was promised a baby crib and I didn’t get it until 8 hours before I checked out. Was there for 2 days and my 2 month old didn’t have a crib to sleep in. I requested this 2 weeks before coming when I made my reservation. The kept telling me they were on the way up with the crib. Lied numerous times then told me they didn’t have any and that they gave it to someone else who asked that day. I will never come back to this hotel. They didn’t accommodate me for the inconvenience. It was my birthday weekend and I’m very upset I decided to spend it there

This was a great place to stay. I had a balcony with a ocean view. It was beautiful. Great location. The waiter at the restaurant (Sean) was so awesome. He made my birthday special. He even sung me happy birthday. The fact that he remembered my name the next day was great. The good was ok. Wish they had better breakfast choices, but them wings and shrimps was on point. The pool was beautiful too. I have no complaints.

The Balcony was very calming and provides a space to reflect and sit. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, spacious and had good lighting.

Our experience was not good we checked in they gave us a room on the 8th floor room 808 it was horrible it smelled real bad and the AC was horrible i complained they send maintenance we went to dinner when we got back horrible i guess they couldnt fix it they put 2 portable square white fans very loud horrible i went and complained they changed our room thank god at least the new room AC worked but no hot water only warm my experience wasnt great at all

The room was comfortable, though I did notice that the bathroom could use some minor updates, particularly around the wall near the toilet area. The on-site restaurant served good food, though I would love to see a few more variety options on the menu. Overall, it was a great experience. I would absolutely recommend staying here and would not hesitate to return on my next visit.

Sat on the balcony watching valet go through peoples cars. I have video of them popping the trunk and searching inside cars. When confronted, valet says its protocol. I diddnt feel safe after that. Dont leave valueables in your car here. The showerhead was nasty, the tv had a blue tint on every channel, the outlets diddnt work by the bed, but i looked past all that. The rummaging through peoples cars is something i cant look past.

Our room looks like it was remodeled. The bathroom did not have a sink inside, it was right outside of the tub and toilet area, BUT since it did not have the sink they decided to place the toilet paper holders on the far wall where the sink should have been, which was at least 3; away. You had to stretch over while sitting on the toilet to get your toilet paper. The trashcans had some contraption inside of it, dividing into 2 sections, but they were so small that one regulars take out container did not fit. The access panel to the AC was expos

My only complaint would be the breakfast, not good at all and pricy but other than that great stay.

We had no hot water the whole weekend. After the third time I complained the lady was so nasty I just took a cold shower. There was banging all day. They are pulling up carpet upstairs. I was told it will end around 5.

The place is definitely beautiful and the view is priceless, the pool area is also amazing, it looks like a resort but it's not really a resort. They close the pool area at 6pm crazy! I cam at 7pm from the casino and wanted to get into the hot tub and it was close, but it was daytime even the sun was still out. The next day I spoke with the guy in the pool bar and he said that only Fridays and Saturdays are open until 9pm. If I am paying to stay there I should use it, they should close it every night at 12pm. Bad administration. They should make more money having that beautiful area more lively with nice music and drinks less expensive. Friday I pay 18.00 dollars for one cup of pinacolada, crazy. I prefer for them to charge me a little more for the room and not charge me for parking 42.00 per day when the parking was right next door and the parking lot was empty, but it was mandatory to pay because I didn't have another place. The room was clean and again the view was amazing. Please change the towers they are old, not real white any longer. They were clean but old. Please place the tv in the higher table because the table it's too low we couldn't watch tv comfortable, the bed was higher than the tv. Claiming to have a partial ocean view was a joke. Indeed the view in my room was largely the wall of the building next door. Beware the multiple add-ons including taxes, facility fees, and even parking at $45/day. In the end it was not at all worth the price paid.

Staff was professional, responsive and friendly. Room was spacious and clean. Pool was great with a bar and you can easily walk to the beach. Valet staff were awesome and ensure quick service.

I love the cleanliness of the room, but I had 2 roaches in my room. I had to move my room at 130 in the morning. I am a female so, I pack for travels like one. I had all my belongings in the place I wanted them in the room. It was frustrating. I had just came an event, so I was tired. All I wanted to do was shower and sleep. The hotel did give me a complimentary breakfast. The customer service to rectify the situation was appropriate I think.

WE went for the lovely pool; however the drink prices at the pool were outrageously overpriced as was the restaurant food items. WE always tip but there was also a surcharge on the bill as well; for what we did not know. We were not allowed to bring our own drink or snacks to the pool which was a huge disappointment. We will not be going back to this hotel.

Front desk agents and valet have good customer service. The rooms could have been cleaned better; the pool deck has a lot of bird waste and some of the ladders need repairs. The view from the room and pool are amazing though so it kind of makes up. Also the DJ at the pool was amazing!

The minute I checked in, the young lady offered me a room facing the city, when my reservation was for a corner room overlooking the intercoastal. Finally given my corner room, my wife and I drag our luggage up to the 4th floor, only to find someone already in the room they gave me. Go back down to the front desk and told we'll have to wait for another room. Then the young again offers us another city facing room and says its up high like the corner room you reserved. We declined and told her we would like the room we reserved and paid for. 10 mins later, they give us a corner room overlooking the pool, no intercoastal view, did not offer any money back, gave us a $25 dinner voucher to use in their restaurant. Awful, dishonest, experience. Next time, just be honest and tell the customer you overbooked and gave their room away even though they made their reservation 2 weeks ago.

The pool area is nice right along the intercostal water way. The valet parking area in front g the hotel is very congested. I thought I had a ln ocean view room reserved, however the hotel is on the opposite side of the beach. The beds were comfortable. The ironing board was broken, no available wash cloths for showering, the chair had multiple stains and the soap dispensers in the shower were empty. Not impressed for the amount of money spent for this room.

Due to time constraints—we had an appointment shortly after check-in—we reluctantly accepted the room. However, the overall experience was disappointing: The two Queen beds took up most of the room space, making it feel cramped. Both beds were noticeably worn out, with significant dents in the middle, which made sleeping uncomfortable. This was not the experience I expected, especially after planning ahead and booking a specific room type. I will never book at the double tree again.

Woke up to big water bugs in bathroom in the middle of the night. Microwave/fridge area was dusty looks like that area is often skipped over when cleaning. Parking was good the valet staff work fast and hard to accommodate the influx of people checking out. Hotel over could use a bit more updating. Sink outside of the bathroom gives motel vibe and it sucks to have to wash your hands in the middle of the night waking up your kids in the process. It would have made sense to add a wall to enclose the sink into the bathroom. There is plenty of room to do so. Check out via the app because line was long but it’s not the staffs fault some customers make the checkout process difficult and slows the process. Thanks for stay but I will have to pass on a return stay at this location. Too pricey for a half way done renovation and please exterminate the room for gosh sakes!!!

Stayed here while attending a conference. It is close to the beach, a short uber ride from great restaurants and is well maintained. My room had a fridge and microwave. Clean and quiet!
