It is quiet and close to several restaurants. They struggle with deep cleaning. It was clean enough to not be annoying but you could see build up in places where it is ease to clean. the beds are also very hard.

April Stoddard at the front desk is a nasty person who should not have a public facing role.

great location, great breakfast, room was clean and fresh Water temp goes in and out, took forever to shower due to shower randomly changing from warm to cold to scalding hot, shower took about 30 min total and we checked out about 20 min late. our room was knocked on and they allied saying we need to check out or be charged- it’s not even noon at this point. staff was a little sharp when they spoke to guests. strict 11am checkout.

comfortable and spacious The walls were either very thin. We could hear the water running next door, someone coughing and entire conversations.

Desk was friendly. The rooms were very clean. Breakfast buffet was good.

We only had 2 complaints. The mini fridge in our room didn't work very well. Unfortunately, we didn't catch it in time to save our food. We thought it had been turned up between guests, so we just turned the temperature back down and didn't check it until the following evening, when we found everything warm. At that point we threw the food away and then let the desk associate know as we were checking out. This could happen anywhere, so I only mention it to suggest that maybe these should be checked by the hotel from time to time? The other minor thing was that the bed had the worst pillows ever. First, there were 4 standard size pillows on a king bed...which does make a difference. It wouldn't have been so bad if the pillows weren't so flat and uncomfortable. Again, pretty minor, but not what we've experienced at other Hampton Inns.

We stay here whenever we are in Hixson. Clean, convenient and quiet. Friendly staff. Decent breakfast, considering Covid restrictions.

Was convenient to our venue and provided all we needed in accommodations, including a microwave, fridge and iron. The lighting in the bathroom is dim making it hard to apply make-up. I’ve noticed this issue in other hotels I have stayed at in the recent past. A small dislike, but could be an improvement with a future room upgrade.

Comfortable bed, nice shower (great water pressure), and good room. Location was right where we needed to be to get to everything right away. The room was clean and had everything we needed. I love the king size bed could be as comfortable as home. Place to plug up the cpap next to the bed and extra plugs for the phone. Perfect. Shower head needed a little attention to detail cleaning. It had some pink mildew. Also, need an exhaust fan that we can turn on to air out the restroom.

The hotel was clean, the bed was comfortable and the room had a nice ambience. They have a nice free breakfast including hot foods and a waffle maker along with a selection of breads, cereals and fruit. The hotel is located next to good shopping and eating places. We'll stay there again.

the hotel. is good, it is about 10 minutes from the downtown and offers free breakfast, and now for the .covid the cleaning of the.room.by.request and it has free parking in the end, excellent hotel

Nice hotel and very clean. The only thing I didn’t like was that there didn’t seem to be much of a sound barrier between rooms and even outside. I could hear traffic and sirens like they were right in my room all night.

Great property. Friendly, professional staff. Hey, this hotel genuinely cares that your stay is perfect. Clean, quiet, comfortable. A real buffet hit breakfast- so much better than the muffin in a bag you get at most properties. Definitely would stay again. Very close to restaurants and shopping.

The pool is not actually in operation, which was a key reason that we chose to stay there. Very disappointing.

The hotel was clean and comfortable and staff was very friendly. It is a bit dated and could use some updating but overall a good experience. Hotels in Chattanooga are crazy expensive so we were happy to find this one at a more reasonable price point.

Pleased. Well thought out room.

This is a clean, safe place to stay - but no guarantee that you will get to sleep. We were assigned a room that is an adjoining room - double check to make sure you do NOT have one. There is a large gap at the bottom of the adjoining doors so that when the people who have booked the adjoining room come in tipsy at 1 am and stumble around - it is like they are in the room with you. Or the next night - when a man and his 8-10 year old son comes in at 3 am and play video games until 5 am - it is like they are in the room with you. You can’t turn the fan on to help drown out the noise. It was like staying at an upscale motel for people who rent by the hour. Did it warrant a call to the front desk for security? No. The hotel should have noise barriers between the doors of adjoining rooms. The breakfast was also stingy - we opted to go to McDonalds and cut our losses.

We have stayed at this location before but this was our first hotel stay since COVID began. Upon check-in, you are asked whether you want daily room service or not. Our room was fine but we weren’t able to get the top floor, which is our usual preference. The door had a seal on it, stating the room had been sanitized. Room appeared clean. Bed was comfortable but pillows too soft. AC worked well. Bathroom was nice except grout had fallen out at the bottom of the shower, which allowed water behind the prefab wall (we let management know about this). Breakfast was limited and served to you, rather than buffet style, due to COVID. Staff members we confronted were all pleasant. Location is good.

Our room was beautiful and super clean. The staff was kind, courteous and eager to help. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do.

The property was clean, quiet, and convenient. The staff was friendly and helped with a good recommendation for supper. The only disappointment was the “breakfast “; breads and stuff you add milk or hot water to. I was hopeful for a little more. But, hey, there are plenty of other places to eat breakfast.

Very nice NEW condition hotel. Family friendly, no contractors. Pay the extra $15-$20 per night to stay here per other hotels in the area, it’s worth it. You actually get what you pay for.

Super clean and really nicely decorated. Very friendly at check in. Beds and pillows were super comfortable and although the hotel was pretty full it was nice and quiet. Hotel in a bit of an odd commercial area but pretty close to the interstate. Breakfast could have been better it was handed out by staff and the only choice was French toast or mini bagel with sausage. No cream cheese for the bagels and no eggs offered at all. This is the only let down of a very nice hotel.

Great trip

Nice little Hampton Inn close to my sister-in-laws house. They allowed us to use their exercise room and provided a very nice "grab and go" breakfast. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Absolutely stunning location. The staff, both at the hotel and in their support center, were more than friendly and quickly assisted me regardless of the time of day. The room was flawless and perfectly clean, even in this COVID situation. Of all of the worries I had during my stay, my hotel room was never a concern.

Clean! Location was a bit far away from the city, but the hotel itself was nice and quiet.

Your bathrooms were updated but the paint was disgusting and you could see water marks and damage in the bathrooms. There was an old razor on the top of the mirror which is disgusting. If your going to update counter tops/sinks why not just update paint and damages.

Their was a door that separated our room, but it sounded like he was in the room with us.

I wish coffee had been made, I do understand during this time of restriction with the virus not serving breakfast, but a pot of coffee would have been nice.

Room was comfortable, clean. Thermostat wasn’t accurate so hard to keep the room at decent temperature. Breakfast was ok, but nothing special. Decided on 2nd day to forgo breakfast and went elsewhere.

We stayed 2 nights for business. Arrived late first night and no WiFi. We’re told it would be fixed the next day. 2nd night still no WiFi. They apologized, but made no attempt to compensate.

Very convenient location to every thing. Great breakfast and fast check in. Huge bed and extremely clean.

Perfect! Quiet but just around the corner you have a row of shops and restaurants at your feet!

It was convenient to my meeting space & easily accessible from the highway.

We used the hotel gym every day. Very basic with a treadmill and step climber. Unfortunately no weights. The bed was comfortable, but the room was more on the the small side. The only thing I did not like was a certain smell you get with carpet cleaning products. It was quite noticeable when walking in. It was in the foyer and hallway but not in the room.

This was a great place, room was very nice and clean. Looks like it had been updated. Great shower. Breakfast was ok, would like more healthy options. The coffee was really bad. Need to change the brand of coffee.

We were there to visit family in the area. We found the hotel staff very friendly and helpful, the accommodations were excellent, and the breakfast was great.

First I was given a room with someone's name on the keys. Then when given the correct keys with my name, there was a man in the room when I opened the door. The receptionist had no idea who was in the room. I then requested to stay two nights and the desk clerk did not put it the system. When I checked the following morning the additional day was not in the computer.

We were awakened by a loud protracted argument from adjacent room. It was quelled pretty quickly by hotel management, but made our stay much less enjoyable.

Clean and welcoming. All the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Fitness room was quite inadequate. No weights and only two cardio machines. I dislike the heavy comforters on the beds. Staff was not friendly at all. This Hampton does not live up to their reputation.

The room was a lot smaller then what I expected for two queen beds. We were facing the pool and had to call the front desk to complain about the noise that was keeping our young child and us awake close to 11 at night. They didn't seem to care much about quiet hours which is tough with an autistic child. The breakfast was great though.

I am not sure why there was a pocket door for the bathroom. I have never seen that. The one we had kept getting stuck trying to close it and then was very difficult to open once finally closed.

The room was clean, in good condition; I could easily adjust the temp and the bed so comfortable! I spent only one night, but will chose this hotel chain again on my next trip.

The breakfast was disappointing. Other Hampton Inn offered better breakfasts & wish hotels would offer the breakfast later in the morning!

We chose Hampton Inn because of the good reviews. We were not disappointed. Clean and comfortable room, nice staff, decent breakfast, well lit parking area, convenient location. MUCH better than our experience at the LaQuinta next door last visit! LIGHT SLEEPERS be aware that although the hotel is not directly next to the tracks, you will hear the train whistle multiple times during the night.

Very pleasant

I have stayed at his Hampton Inn many times. It is always clean, the staff friendly, has comfortable rooms and a nice and plentiful breakfast. Available anytime of the day, the coffee is also always hot. On my recent stay, I was not sure how long I would be there due to a family emergency. The front desk was accommodating, keeping me in my same room and at the same lower rate I has secured for the first 2 nights. It was much appreciated.

Staff was courteous and accommodating to any request we made. Room was quiet and clean and updated. We were only there one night but would stay again next if we come back to the area.

Breakfast was the only disappointing aspect. Typically see more choices at comparable hotel chains. Eggs and bacon left something to be desired.

Overall it was a good place to stay. The walls are little then and most door hinges could use some oil. Would stay here again.

The 20 year old hotel had been recently renovated. The room was spacious, comfortable, and nicely appointed. Was there for only one night, but it was very nice. The breakfast bar was also good - fresh fruit, waffles, eggs, etc.

This was my second time staying at this hotel. The staff was courteous and helpful and it was close to all my destinations.

The staff and location are great! My first night, I was awakened by a lot of noise in the room next to me. The walls are “thin”. This is my only negative thing to say. I will stay there again because of the wonderful staff and the very clean hotel.

This hotel has a very friendly and professional staff from the front desk to the hotel maids. The room was spotless and all room features were as advertised. I will definitely stay here on all future trips to Chattanooga.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The shower was adequate with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was fine and the ladies serving were very nice. Negatives were lady at the front desk at checkin was very curt and not at all welcoming. The room was not as quiet as we expected. Noise from the hallway & adjacent room was annoying. It was okay for a one night stay.

The hotel was centrally located for my needs. I made a very GOOD choice
