Reviews
The hotel generally received positive reviews for its spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and helpful staff. The breakfast was also frequently praised. However, there were some complaints about cleanliness, particularly in the bathrooms, and a few guests found the rooms to be outdated.
- Spacious rooms

- Cleanliness issues

The property is clean and modern. The pool was broke was being cleaned when I was there both in the middle of the day. The Wi-Fi is a giant Wi-Fi for every property. No unrestricted and parking seemed excessive for the location. I had a problem with the AC system not being able to controlled at night and so I was cold and had to wear extra clothes and get extra blankets which I thought was ridiculous

Excellent ! Room was large and clean , breakfast was always good !!!
- 5/5
We loved our stay. The front desk person was so delightful and kind. Let us know all the property had to offer. Well stay here everytime I’m in the area!
- 4/5
Only complaint is paying $12 for parking
- 4/5
Hospitality was great. Room was clean. The room could use more coffee in the room. And I missed having lotion in there. Staff was great. Breakfast was decent.
- 3/5
The food for breakfast was bland. Not great options for breakfast.
- 4/5
Overall good review, other than they charged me for a fire log I don't understand why.
- 4/5
We got a 2 bedroom which was literally like an apartment. Spacious living area. Small full size kitchen. 2 bathrooms with full size beds only.
- 0.5/5
Breakfast is ok. Holiday Inn does it better There’s so much debris outside my hotel room. I understand it’s part of the outdoor environment, but there are spider webs above my hotel room door that could be cleaned up.
- 5/5
Clean/professional/pleasant to stay in. Would recommend
- 5/5
The front desk was the best
- 5/5
Room smell
- 5/5
We stayed in the two bedroom unit and there was a surprising amount of space! Each of the rooms have full bathrooms and locks on the bedroom doors allowing complete privacy if needed. The kitchen had everything needed to cook. The desk area was large enough for multiple people. Hotel staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. Overall, a quiet, comfortable stay.
- 4/5
Great little apartment set up with small kitchen. Staff had great service, but they deactivated our door keys before checkout time and it was a hassle to get the car loaded. The only reason we didn’t rate as Excellent was the world’s worst cookware in their kitchen unit. That could be improved for sure!
- 3/5
Clean rooms, friendly staff and some nice modern updates compared with the last time we stayed here. We had a 1 bedroom suite. Bed was comfortable along with the couch. Only issue was there was a party down in the courtyard, well past midnight and had to call down to front desk. Not sure how the hotel could have let the party go so late. (1am). LIt was obviously a planned event. The back of most of the rooms face the courtyard so most guests had to be kept up.

The staff The smell

Nothing except good things to say about the personnel. From the front desk person to the cleaners everybody was so nice and polite. However the rest was not great. We had booked 1 king bed with sofa bed room for 4 (2 adults and 2 teens). Upon arrival, the sofa bed was not prepared. We called the front desk and the cleaning person stopped by with linens for us to take care of it it was not expected 😅 don’t get me wrong the cleaning person was really sweet and polite but we could not communicate because she only spoke Spanish and we don’t so we were taken by surprise. We tried the sofa bed and it was really not comfortable to sleep in it so we went ahead to rent another study room which the front desk was prompt to accommodate. They offered a room close by the first one which we were intislly super happy however the second room was close by the barbecue area and we could not sleep in the room before mid night because of the loud noise around. I mean I understand people having fun but you have to be respectful of other after 10pm. Each room costed us $260-280 and we could have had a better price at a near by hotel so next time I think we will just do that.
- 1/5
Not enough parking. Front desk was unattended when we went to check in and when we went to ask for blankets. No extra bedding for pull out sofa, dirty pull out sofa mattress. Room smelled like cigarette smoke and cleaner to try to cover it up. We bought scented candles to make the room smell better during our stay.
- 4/5
We had fruit flies in our room. Other than that, the staff was amazing and breakfast was good.
- 5/5
The outdoor pool was really nice my kids enjoyed swimming every afternoon.
- 5/5
Hotel was great. The Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches were disgusting.
- 3/5
FURNITURE WASN'T COMFORTABLE. BREAKFAST WAS BAD.
- 5/5
te property was clean and well maintained. our unit was clean, comfortable and stocked with items we used during the stay for cooking etc. the breakfast was great and the staff was helpful and attentive.
- 4/5
It’s very good place n very clean!!!
- 5/5
Great time! Smooth check in and friendly staff
- 5/5
new, super clean, quiet
- 5/5
This is great hotel to stay in. What makes such a great hotel are staff, they are very helpful, and friendly; the size of the room; the location; and the amenities
- 5/5
The suite size was perfect, as we were needing a large room to get ready for our daughter’s wedding, however, it did have a lingering “smoking” scent to it; we got a deodorizer to help dissipate the funk. Everything else was pretty nice!
- 3/5
The property wasn’t that bad, but it's older and wasn't very clean.
- 4/5
Breakfast options could be better. It was the same breakfast options every morning! No cereal option either.
- 5/5
Comfortable stay. Room was clean, big and nice amenities.
- 5/5
Nice place for walking in downtown.
- 5/5
Loved everything
- 1/5
I got a bedbug bite on my neck!
- 5/5
The room was amazing
- 5/5
Great room with two beds and very useful kitchen so can eat meals in room and not have to go out to eat. TV rotates to watch from couch or beds. Great breakfast each morning although need to be quick to get hot foods. Great location near shopping and food stores. BBQ to make grilled food. Friendly and helpful front desk wanting to help with in any situation.
- 4/5
We loved that the Residence Inn offers rooms that can accommodate families, and has a lovely pool area. There are numerous nearby restaurants and shopping options as well.
- 4/5
Great front desk, breakfast ended early for vacation, awesome pool, grounds are more like apartments rather than a hotel and we were far from front desk, pool, gym, and breakfast. Awesome and spacious room. Mixed feelings. If you want more of a hotel experience I wouldn’t stay here (I was a bit deceived honestly). If you like privacy, this is a great choice!
- 5/5
We stayed here while in town for our Daughters softball tournament, and we had our dog with us. It was the perfect home base for a busy few days, and the apartment style layout made it very easy to get in and out quickly as needed. The kitchen was very equipped with everything we needed and more, and the walking distance to restaurants was also great! Our dog definitely enjoyed having more floor space to lounge around than is usually found in hotels. There were plenty of people walking their pups around and I can tell why it seemed to be a go-to for dog owners.
- 5/5
Courteous staff; perfect configuration for our family of four. Two separate rooms; reasonably priced; comp breakfast; pool and hot tub OPEN and with long hours. Loved it!
- 4/5
Apartment setting. Treed grounds.
- 5/5
Great staff, spacious, comfortable beds, full kitchen, heated pool, 2 spas, great free breakfast, coffee/hot water in the lobby 24 hours, convenience store in the lobby, free grocery delivery. Conveniently located by US-26, yet quiet for a good night sleep. Great shopping and dining options within walking distance and virtually every store imaginable within 20 min driving distance.
- 4/5
Very peaceful setting that was close to lots of stores. Our family enjoyed the sport court!
- 4/5
It was a nice place I loved the layout and the hot tub. The only thing is the room was a little dirty and things were left behind from the previous stay but they worked it out with us and we're very accommodating. Awesome communication and very friendly.
- 5/5
I loved the courtyard between the buildings.
- 5/5
It was incredibly quiet and relaxing with great restaurant choices both in walking distance and that you could drive to.
- 4/5
We enjoyed our stay. I did notice the bathroom floors in our room was barely mopped or someone mopped it & left dirt streaks on the floor. Someone above us was very loud in the AM, as if a herd of elephants were upstairs. Lastly, we came back to hotel around 10PM there wasn’t any parking besides on the far back of the property, we had to walk throughout the property outside to get to our room. The complimentary breakfast made it all worth it, great selections & fresh food.
- 2.5/5
Felt. Like they could have been more assistive
- 5/5
Great hotel and staff. Enjoyed a great weekend at this property.
- 5/5
It was a nice clean hotel in a nice area convenient to grocery and shopping and freeways and just a nice place to stay. My only complaint is the thin toilet paper that every hotel in the world has to buy.
- 3/5
The room was not properly clean, there where hairs on the bathtub and the toilet, the room was not cleaned properly in general.
- 4/5
I loved the suite we stayed in. Very nice. The only thing was that housekeeping left a dirty cleaning rag in the restroom.
- 5/5
Property appears little old but well uplifted and maintained. Location is nice close to freeway and lots of eating places, mall, costco nearby.
- 5/5
Very nice short getaway.
- 5/5
The room was a perfect littke abode; spacious, very clean and quiet. The staff was helpful and nice; they quickly helped me with a TV issue. The room didnt have liquid soap so i was unable to hand wash any dishes or my hands. Other than that, i was very pleased with my visit! I definitely plan to come back when visiting my grandbaby. :)
- 1/5
Save your money... this property is FILTHY! The first room stunk so bad that we requested to be moved into a new room. The next room was disgusting. Pubic hair in both bathrooms, pink mold growing along trim in bathroom, light switches were so dirty, walls and doors were dirty, the front porch area needed to be pressure washed so bad, no garbage can in the kitchen, and the counter was sticky! And there is supposed to be EXTRA cleaning because of Covid-19.... not here. What a joke. The general manager could care less. She never did even apologize. Marriott is really going down hill....
- 4/5
My husband (who is tall) didn’t like that he had to duck in the shower.
- 5/5
The only complaint we had was the room smelled like smoke and it was supposed to be a non smoking room
- 4/5
Good free breakfast
- 2/5
Very annoyed and disappointed. I booked a 2 bedroom suite for 3 couples over a month in advance. I also pre paid and used one of my reward nights through Hotels.com. We get into town to check in only to find the hotel had sold out of that suite the night prior and it was given to a couple who checked in last minute. Said there was nothing they could do. Offered to split us up into TWO studio rooms (for 3 couples) while I worked it out with Hotels.com. No choice but to split up, drop our bags and haul butt to our next reservation (TopGolf) otherwise we'd lose money on the whole reason we made the trip. Little did I know Hotels.com would use that as a reason to not refund me saying I entered into an agreement with the property when I should have called hotels.com to negotiate another hotel option. What the heck!? Ain't no body got time for that, I was busy dealing with the hotel staff that gave no cares about my prebooked and prepaid reservation, just to then have hotels.com pour salt on the wound all while trying to get to our Topgolf reservation on time. Super disappointed on all levels.
- 5/5
Excellent stay with no issues as always expected from Residence Inn.
- 3/5
There's a bed (yay). Sitting area okay. But carpets rundown, cheap towels and gas station grade tp. Our room wasn't cleaned once in 3 days and we had to go look for clean (scratchy) towels. Won't stay here again
- 5/5
The set up of the rooms and each room having a kitchen. Beds and pillows are very comfortable!
- 4/5
The room has a spacious kitchen and was clean and comfortable. We liked the checkout time being at 12, did not like housekeeping knocking on the door telling us to get out at 11:30 maybe they shouldnt start on rooms until after check out time and learn to ask in a more professional manner as to when we were going to leave instead of telling us you kicked out!
- 5/5
This place was easy to get to and very quiet!! No road noise. Plenty of stores and places to eat nearby!
- 3/5
The hotel was not what I thought I purchased. I do not like outdoor entrances to individual rooms. The area doesn't seem super safe at night. Would stay at a different Marriott in the area next time.
- 4.5/5
NO FLAVORED CREAMERS FOR CO0FFEE
- 5/5
No excessive noise and the breakfast was won of the best i've ever had at a hotel.
- 4/5
Staff was great and the breakfast was good too. Good value for your money
- 5/5
loved it! will definitely be back in the future!!!
- 4.5/5
The TV was not set up well for watching from bed. Since it never got over 45 degrees while we were here, an indoor pool/spa would be wonderful. The bathroom was a little tight but clean

There were no vanilla creamers for coffee
- 5/5
Very friendly staff. Room was a 2 bed 2 bath suite. Very clean and had adequate accommodations for a family of 6
- 4/5
There was a nice breakfast in a pleasant hearth room, the grounds were well kept, the room was a good size and clean. At first it seemed a little stuffy but you can open the windows. Wish there was more light in the downstairs unit.

Was all good. Only thing was it had that funky smell. Like the room was a smoking room once. Other then that nice roll.
- 3/5
First, I called to make sure we would have four beds. We had two with a pullout couch (the couch was not made up for guests with bedding and their was garbage under it.) There was no extra set of bedding for me to make it. Since it was late and the housekeeping hours were already over according to their phone system, we shared the two available beds. There were also flying bugs in the kitchen that got into my sons food while we had left and came back. Also, my kids were excited about the pool, but it had already been closed for the season.
- 5/5
Very comfortable stay!!
- 5/5
Very good experience. Clean room, nice area, friendly staff. My credit card holder fell out of my bag and got left behind without me knowing it. They called my that afternoon and let me know they found and they mailed it to me. I really appreciated that.
- 5/5
Loved the open and apartment style living. Great location and excellent service.
- 5/5
All of the employees were very nice and helpful. Stephanie upgraded us to a one bedroom from a studio. My whole stay was great. I would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
My only complain was the water pressure in my room was horrible. For the cost of the room I would expect better.
- 5/5
The beds were a bit stiff but overall experience was great. Friendly staff and buffet breakfast was better than I expected. Two things that I hope the management would improve: 1) stop using paper plates / bowls as it's not environmental friendly and 2) enforce a strict non-smoking policy as there are people smoking (both traditional cig or e-sig) outside the building (where next to our room) and we can smell it.
- 5/5
Easy check in and a nice large room. The pool and basketball court was well kept also

The breakfast was delicious with good vegetarian options. The breakfast nook felt a little crowded, but I have seen worse. Only complaint I have is that the beds are very high for us (esp. with kids) and there was a cold draft coming from under the door late in the night. TBH, the draft of air is needed if you are cooking in the room, but only inconvenient in the middle of the night.

We really wanted to love the place. It was a beautiful suite. The problem was the smell. It was overpoweringly bad. It was a cross between rancid cigarette smoke and wet dog. This was a no smoking room. We thought the smell would dissipate, bit the odor remained as strong the day we left as it was when we first arrived. We were really bummed because everything else was nice. But the smell was a real buzz kill.
- 5/5
Great Breakfast buffet included.
- 4/5
The one problem is that we had a reservation for four and only got three sets of towels. When I ask the person at the desk the next morning for 4 he said OK but the next day I still only received three.
- 5/5
Staff and rooms were exceptional. Response to desk calls for service was amazing. Breakfast was fantastic, roomy, and clean. The only negative was that The air conditioning condensers are aging as ours both malfunctioned and struggled to cool the room in the higher temperatures we were experiencing. We will stay there again...
- 5/5
Huge room, and the kitchen included most every utensil we needed (although a muffin tin would've been nice, as would a second pan), the breakfast was fantastic and much better than most hotel continental breakfast offerings, the staff was superb, and the area was good if you want to hang out both in Portland and Outside of the city
- 5/5
Very clean and well maintained. Friendly staff. Excellent location with easy access to freeway and restaurants within walking distance.
- 5/5
Nice clean friendly place to stay! The room was very comfortable.
- 5/5
Close to food, movies, and shopping. Comfortable rooms, very spacious, with wonderful bedding for a good nights sleep. We have stayed here multiple times and each time was a great experience.
