Breakfast was good, staff was so friendly

They served tater tots and cut up hot dogs for breakfast. We had a dog and they put us on the 3rd floor so she couldn't go outside easily to potty. And they charged $12 for parking and $75 for having a dog. It was not what we expected. I wouldn't recommend this hotel. There was a blood stain on the bottom sheet also.

my bad. I thought I saw a hot tub in the pool photo. I should have double-checked. I was very disappointed when I discovered otherwise.

Location. Comfortable amenities. No luggage carts..staff didn't seem to care about helping me find any either. I hated the parking fee on principal...so much parking around there it is ridiculous to charge and still tell us with signage...park at own risk. I didn't see this fee when I rented it online- I will not rent again here if charged for parking

Excellent as usual. However, there was no real 1/2 & 1/2 for the coffee… the bacon had run out by 7:45am .. and the orange juice was like water.. & not drinkable. Sad for me as I trust Hampton inns to do a better breakfast,

Breakfast was amazing each and every day! Huge selection and variety of foods/drinks. Stayed here to move my daughter home from college. She was able to enjoy and relax in the hotel room after a long day of packing. I would definitely stay here again without question.

Wonderful staff, breakfast was perfect. Like most hotels with accessible bathrooms.. they never think through that most people with disabilities can’t reach the attached shampoos/gels etc. non slip tub bottom would be nice. Walk in shower would provide access for anyone.

The room was large, super clean and very comfortable. Only complaint is no microwave in the room. There is one available to use in the lobby area, but it is very small. And it is inconvenient to have to go into the lobby to heat something up. However, the lobby is beautiful. There is a good hot breakfast served each morning. The pool is indoors and very clean. Note: they do charge $12/day for on-site self-park. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed staying here and will return.

Clean room, breakfast was great and gym and pool is also nice. However there is no microwave in the room, there is only one in the lobby. Adequate pillows however it's too soft and flat, feels like you don't have a pillow. I also didn't like that there is a parking fee in this hotel.

The hotel was centrally located for us. The breakfast was convenient. It wasn't fancy, but offered several options. The room was clean and comfortable. Free parking was a plus!!

The room was clean and basic. We wanted a place to stay for a soccer tourney that had an indoor pool for our daughter, but it was not clean at all. The pool room was grimy and the water was murky and almost yellow. Would not recommend.

Nice location and quiet. Rooms are nice and a really good free breakfast. They have cut down on the breakfast times. Used to go till 10 AM which was very nice. 9 AM is a little early when you’re on vacation.

Staff were amazing. However, Expedia showed that the two double-bed room comes with a sofa bed. When we arrived at the hotel, they told us that our queen-bed room does not include a sofa bed — only the king-bed room does. Expedia, please fix this issue.

The breakfast was great, I loved that they had rice & furikake, great selection, fresh & tasty. The staff was really friendly. It used to be that Hampton Inn had the best beds of any hotel. That seems to have slipped recently. The bed was ok, not terrible, but not what I expect from Hampton.

The entire building was updated and looked beautiful. I liked that it was tucked away and felt very safe, and the price was great! We did not have a chance to use the pool or try the breakfast. The only thing they didn’t have was a hot tub but not a deal breaker for us ;)

I was disappointed as usually Hamptons are decent hotels. Breakfast was chaotic, out of stock of most everything, including plates. Staff were not necessarily rude, but not real friendly or really involved in their job. Gym was decent. Pool was much smaller than appears in photos. Our rooms shampoo, conditioners were empty. Had to pay for parking and wifi. Should've just stuck with the Holiday Inn 2 miles away (was way better!)

The breakfast was decent, but not as good as it has been during previous stays. Having another staff member to be able to clean off tables would probably be something they should consider since it was busy during breakfast time, and people were sitting down at dirty tables. I asked for a towel to wipe down our table and a worker wet down a paper towel to wipe it instead of using a bleach rag, which i found odd. As I said, they were so busy, I'm sure it was hard to get to tables, especially since guests were sitting down as soon as a table opened. I offered to wipe tables for them but they wouldnt let me haha. I am a server though so didn't mind trying to help. But the staff was trying their best.

The associates at the front desk were very rude and disrespectful. Your mood Will completely changed the minitue you set foot in the property. The atmosphere is very depressing and dull! The manager is very arrogant and highly recommending and hospitality class

Plenty of breakfast options. The only thing we found odd about that is there was no water dispenser available. Usually there is an option for water on the juice dispenser. Thankfully we brought bottled water with us on the trip which I went back to our room to get for breakfast.

My room was not refreshed after two days of staying here. We added one night to our stay and our keys didn’t work until we went back down to the decks to make them work. We came up. Our room was not cleaned. We don’t have enough towels. We ran out of conditioner and the house key made it housekeeper is gone for the day.

Unexpected parking fees. Absolutely insane, was not informed of 12.00 a day parking fee until arriving.

1) No room service. They stated at the counter that it was every other day, and we had none during our 3 day stay. Bummer deal. 2) We were treated to a surprise $12 per night parking fee. The front counter person cautiously explained that it was listed on the hotel page. It was, under "Optional Extras" at the bottom of the page past all of the room options. If your counter person is embarrassed, something needs to change. Don't shock your customers, just raise the rates of the rooms. 3) Lastly, put microwaves in all of the rooms. If there is a fridge in there, there needs to be a microwave too. I get it, it's in the lobby, but it's not what anyone is hoping for. To be honest, we'd definitely come back. There are more pros than cons. It's just a bit confusing with nickel and dime nonsense and a whoopsie on the lack of housekeeping. This is a five star establishment.

Yes, the room was clean, spacious and quiet. And the staff were very helpful. And I loved the pool! A main difficulty for me was a lack of accessible electrical outlets. For both my CPAP machine and computer I (at age 83) had to crawl under the furniture to reach outlets. And finding outlets for charging phone and tablet was not easy either. Other than that, I would say Excellent. Thank you.

It was really disappointing that the mechanical stopper in the bathtub was broken. I really enjoy taking a hot bath after traveling and Maintenance never followed up.. also when they made the reservation, it said that there would be a refrigerator and microwave in the room and unfortunately there was no microwave. My room was also by the elevator which impacted my ability to sleep. I really wish the agent who checked me in had mentioned this to me. I’m already a light sleeper.

But other than that, I would totally recommend!

And yes, we really did like the breakfast. We really appreciated that there was so many different varieties of food offered, including the miso soup and rice and the furikake. We travel widely, and I don’t think I have ever seen miso soup and rice in a breakfast area. Thank you! If we come again to Portland, we will definitely stay again with your hotel!

Great breakfast. They serve early which allowed us to eat before early athletic event. Bed is comfy-feels smaller for 2 adult people. No microwave in the room but available downstairs to use anytime and great seating area to hangout and eat lunch and dinner. Missed the info on parking fee when hotel was booked.

Noisy neighbors at first but quieted down after 10, pillows were a little too soft but overall good rest. just stayed the one night as I got into town late and did not want to disturb parents. Will likely stay again if accommodations are needed in the future.

The room had an odor like dirty clothes or BO. Gross. The TV remote was very difficult to work like the batteries were dying or something. We paid for four of us and there were only three towels in the bathroom. Watching TV proved most frustrating as the signal went out countless times during the one show I tried watching.

Cindy at the front desk was pleasant and helpful, especially since we arrived so late. The room was okay. It was clean enough but was muggy and smelled sweaty. The water in the bathroom was either cold or scalding; it was dangerously too hot so watch your littles.It is a old hotel that have been modified where needed. The breakfast in the morning was great. The kids loved it and was nice before we continued our travel.

You need a bench outside so us seniors, or others, can sit and wait to be picked up. You cannot see from the lobby well, additionally when the weather is nice it is better to be outside.

I liked the location I didn’t like it took a little to check in because of the amount of people in front of me. But overall good.

Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Lots of places to shop. Felt very safe. The walk isn’t that far, but I wish they had their own laundromat instead of having to walk across to the embassy suites (sister property) to wash clothes.

The service and cleanliness were excellent. However, they charge you $12 a night to park. This was not included in the nightly price, nor was it stated anywhere visible when I booked. I would've booked another hotel if I knew it was an additional hidden charge. I'm glad the front desk lady was very sweet and helpful, it helped offset the annoyance of being tricked to pay for parking.

Great staff, wonderful pool, great breakfast. Not much around the hotel but it was good for driving in and out of the Portland area for the day. Close to the grocery store which was nice when traveling with kids and packing lunches.

First room I was given had a toilet with a huge crack in the tank and was leaking all over the floor and with the water stains on the floor it was on obvious it was like that for some time. Was given another room and although the toliet worked alworhout leaking all over the floor, the room was not cleaned. It was clear to see that surfaces don't get touched. The table between the beds had dozens of sticky rings from cups and. The bathroom counter had pieces of scotch tape on it that would easily peel off but must have been to much for the maids to do. So, I took care of getting that off for them. The bathroom and shower also had hair all over the place. The roooms overall are outdated and just not really clean. The beds get made and that's about it.

This Hampton Inn was perfect for our one night stay in Portland, and reasonably priced. It was in a perfect location as we stayed here overnight after arriving at the Portland airport and heading out to the coast the next day!! We would stay here again!!

Staff was friendly. The hotel is nicely located about 40 minutes from PDX. Plenty of restaurants/shops just a short drive away.

The property seemed clean and there was one gentleman that seemed to have great customer service. We encountered him in the pool area. The rest of the staff, including housekeeping, and the front office were very short, lacked customer service, and we’re just not friendly at all.

No complaints, check in was easy and staff friendly and helpful. Room was clean and everything in working order; shower head could be better but otherwise all good. Nice to have breakfast included and while I didn't have the waffles, two flavors is cool! Pool was great but a hot tub would make it complete! Do love the fact that dogs are welcome; would stay again!

They charge $12 per day for parking which is not noted anywhere until checking in. We had 2 rooms for a 2 night stay and our rooms were not cleaned. We had to ask at the desk for clean towels and we informed them that our rooms had not been cleaned, they did not have a response, just provided us with clean towels. The lobby area is nice. The rooms need some sprucing up. It was a step up from a Motel 6. The night desk employee was great! Very friendly and helpful.

We had such a wonderful stay! Check is was extremely pleasant, and I know that it was the kind lady working that made it so! I don't want to complain, only that it may have been that the surface washing was inadvertently missed for our room. I'm sure it was an accidental oversight. We could see how hard the crew worked while we were there. I should have just asked for a cleaning cloth and a quick vacuum. Oh! and as a matter of preference, the downy pillows were a bit too fluffy! LOL

Area around the pool is incredibly unsafe. Both my children slipped and fell while just walking. Closest restroom is out three doors! Doors that are HEAVY!

The property was nice, staff was great! Cleanliness of the room..... not the best. Hair in the bathtub, random hair on the back of the toilet. Piece of caramel corn on the floor. Chalked it up to just overworked housekeepers! Was a nice hotel though!

Its a nice property next door is the Embassy Suites, same owners ,so you are able too use some of the Embassy amenities it makes it nice.
