Reviews
Guests generally enjoy their stay at this hotel, appreciating its modern design, cleanliness, and friendly staff. The location is also a highlight, with many amenities and attractions nearby. However, some guests have issues with the shower pressure and temperature, and others are disappointed with the lack of daily maid service and the extra charge for breakfast.

Always love this hotel.

Love to stay here. Rooms are comfortable and we have never had noisy neighbors. Only issue this trip was we had no hot water the first morning.
- 3/5
It’s definitely odd to pay for parking in the suburbs, they are not the only ones. Layout was great, but shower door was getting stuck and there must be some leak as I can hear them taking a shower above me.
- 5/5
Another excellent Aloft. Great staff interactions! Great location for what i needed only a mile from a train station connected to downtown and PDX.
- 5/5
and didn’t trust Expedia to get everything sorted in a timely manner. Thank you Jake…you were awesome! Didn’t like the fact that you had to pay to park in the hotels parking lot overnight. There was plenty of free parking on the street surrounding the hotel.
- 3/5
It’s absolutely ridiculous there is only street parking and the guest has to pay to park in the parking lot. A customer is already paying for the hotel, parking should be included instead of stressing about if you’re going to find a spot on the street

You own your parking but charge for it?? Mention that on your web site. We used the fire pit and lit it ourselves so that was nice as was the bag toss and pool table. There should really be a nite light in bathroom so a person doesn't need to light up the entire room in the wee pee hours.
- 5/5
Wonderful overnight stay. Helpful staff and lovely park across the street.
- 5/5
Todo estaba perfecto y muy bien cuidado
- 5/5
Perfect thank you!
- 5/5
Parking was safe. Only complaint I have is there is a $10 per vehicle charge. I am disappointed because when I stay at the Portland Airport Aloft there is no charge and they have a security robot. There is no security here that I saw.
- 2/5
I did not like that I had to pay $10 a night for parking.
- 4/5
The location, the style/design of the building and rooms, 24 hour attendants Paid parking, no microwave in room, my headboard was visibly stained

Room cleaning schedule was missed - had to ask for cleaning. Shower pressure is low. A/C system is difficult to operate.
- 4/5
I didn’t like the parking situation. My son was dropping me off and there was no place to park near the entrance. The back parking lot seemed to be for only registered guests. We had to illegally park on the street to enter. If you’re only going to have a rear parking lot, you should have a means of entry for new guests.

Extremely nice rooms.

We had to move room at 9pm on first night as AC machine was broken, then the elevator was broken on the second day. Rooms are decent size.
- 1/5
The stay there was horrible . The first room we got had dog poop, like they didn’t even care to check for that , it felt dirty . then they transferred us to a second room and the light in the shower turned off and it wouldn’t work it had came off the ceiling, we had mentioned it to the staff and supposedly it was gonna get fixed and it didn’t . So we showered and used the restroom in the dark . We had a horrible experience at this hotel, was very unhappy with our stay
- 4/5
It’s a good modern hotel, but there was noise in our room that made it difficult to sleep.

- 4/5
The staff was friendly, rooms, gym and entertainment area were clean. Only unfortunate part was that we couldn’t use the pool since it was under maintenance. It’s understandable that isn’t something the hotel can control. This hotel is pet friendly and surprisingly the rooms smelled great!

Some big dog was with owner in am at breakfast bar and was scaring customers

Staff was friendly and rooms were very spacious. Good breakfast options.
- 4/5
Staff was prompt and helpful.

It is in a convenient location for our purposes. We had to pay for all of the breakfast amenities. That seems to be unusual for a continental breakfast.

this is my 4th stay at this hotel. slways clean, fresh, good customer service. remodel since my last stay. check in area needs improvement. looks temporary. bar stools are AWFUL! now have to pay for parking which is not pricey but not an improvement. in good restaurant shopping area. good freeway access.

Great bed selections so very different from other hotels I’ve stayed at.
- 5/5
We love this hotel. We stay here everytime we come to PDX. Rooms are clean, staff super helpful & friendly and the lobby is fun with a pool table, cornhole & board games.
- 5/5
Clean room, great bartender. Excellent hotel overall. A little hard to figure out how to find the lobby but otherwise I highly recommend.

First, our room, that i called the day before to verify was properly reserved and ready, was not available when we arrived. We were downgraded from a Suite with a balcony to a room that was basically a closet and were not compensated. Well, i lie, the DID comp pur $10/day parking... on their property... for their guests. Who charges their own guests for parking, you money hungry jerks. Second, we are going petty now, the mini fridge in the room made horrible noises all night long and one of the feet were missing, causing it to rock violently every time it was opened and caused drinks we kept in there to fall out constantly. Third, the shower door did not have any type of bottom sill stop. Every time you opened the shower, the water would spray everywhere and the shower head was too high toadjust (especially for a supposed "Ada accessible" room. There were so many other little things that, had they not already charged my card and stated they couldnt refund any of the money, i would have gone somewhere else. The elevators are to be used with caution. 1 sounds like its falling apart, the other one has issues with the buttons working, and there was a blatent greasy handprint on the one door the whole week we were there, so they obviously do NOT clean them. All in all, it was a horrible stay and will not happen ever again.
- 5/5
We stayed at the Aloft this past weekend and had a wonderful experience! Check-in was handled by the sweetest woman—she was incredibly friendly and made us feel so welcome right away. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. Although we didn’t get a chance to use them, the hotel offers great amenities, including a pool and a gym for guests. We felt safe and relaxed throughout our stay, and the beautiful walking park right across the street was a lovely bonus.
- 5/5
Clean room. Comfortable and modern. Streaming service on tv. Comfy bed.

I believe this was our third time at this property. We have always loved our time at this property. We will be back.
- 5/5
Close to Nike headquarters and plenty of food options.
- 5/5
Great Place to Stay.
- 5/5
Super comfy beds.
- 3/5
Shower head was placed in a dysfunctional position. Handle to turn water on was stripped which made tempature control difficult. Hair dryer was broken.
- 5/5
I stay at this hotel for business trips every other month. The staff are excellent, the rooms are clean, and it's within walking distance to restaurants..
- 5/5
Very clean and functional. Minimalist rather than luxurious. Comfortable. Quiet. Would certainly stay here again
- 5/5
Beautiful place, with lots of space, will return again!
- 3/5
Property was cold, room and bed not comfortable, loud music upon check-in, unfriendly staff at front desk, no ice that I found, required payment for parking. Property was modern as a loft but the comfortable, friendly, welcoming part of a hotel was missing.
- 5/5
Beautiful area
- 5/5
Great staff! clean, comfortable.
- 5/5
Stay was great!
- 5/5
Very clean’ nice bed!
- 4/5
Good and nice
- 5/5
Excellent stay as always with Marriott. The location was excellent due to proximity to the freeway and a large beautiful park. The hotel itself appears newer and modern. It was a great price for the level of hotel.
- 5/5
Great room and location
- 5/5
good
- 5/5
Wonderful and staff were all very friendly!
- 4/5
Upon check in, the front desk staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. I was alone with my two kids and she could probably feel the stress from me! She let me know there was no clean one king bedrooms but she kindly let me know she would upgrade us to a two king bedroom at no cost. The room was extremely roomy and clean. Our phone in the room did not work but that's not a big deal. The noise level though is rough and you can hear everyone above you walking. However, we always travel with a noise machine! There was also this flashing light that was going off all night on the ceiling, I am thinking maybe the fire alarm light. Not sure. It was kind of distracting. The pool was amazing and we spent 2 hours there! Overall, I'd recommend to stay here!
- 5/5
Great hotel! Really unique room layout, park right next door & a shopping center you can walk to. The bar was great too!
- 5/5
Room very modern, comfortable bed! Loved having food options avaiilable in lobby. Loved the pool table and bar area for hanging out with friends & family.
- 4/5
some trips dont show up once booked. very annoying
- 5/5
New location and clean
- 5/5
Nicest front desk in the world! I was traveling with my dog, Bee and she was loved on and welcomed too.
- 5/5
The parking situation was also very convenient, with both paid parking and available street parking nearby. The location is excellent, being close to the freeway and shopping areas, yet still offering a quiet neighborhood away from the city's hustle and bustle. The park with a walking path right in front was a lovely bonus. I will definitely be staying here again!
- 4/5
Friendly staff
- 4/5
I liked the facility for the amenities, though the pool looks much bigger in pictures than in person. We used the pool table and the giant Jenga, and my cocktail from the bar was delicious. I love the idea of a sliding barn door for the bathroom in the room but it was so heavy to get closed and open, my kids were not fans. It would have been nice to have a clock in the room and an outlet on the wall side of the bed but those aren't deal breakers.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Very nice accommodations.
- 5/5
Love this hotel. Very comfortable. Conveniently located to family.
- 5/5
Travel frequently here for both business and to visit our daughter, this is our go to spot. Clean and the staff is always great.
- 4/5
Overall it was a very nice stay. I recommend the suite to give a bit more comfort. The elevators were a little sketchy as they made terrible noises, and the permits were expired. I do wish there was ice on each floor instead of having to go to the main lobby and fetch ice every morning. The beds were comfortable, but not the pull-outs. Lord they need to do something about those ratchet pull-out squeaky beds. The refrigerator set up is questionable in the suite, because when you try to open it it seems to tip. There was no microwave which was odd. Hot water took a hot minute to show up. The room was pretty clean overall.
- 1/5
Not at all what we hoped for.
- 4/5
Quiet and comfortable. Had a bit of a problem with the room but the front desk took care of it right away. Would definitely stay again!
- 5/5
Awesome place. Very easy to book and a clean quiet place.
- 4/5
Water in room was helpful
- 5/5
Very comfortable
- 5/5
Such a great place to stay. It was so relaxing. Clean, comfortable and a great view
- 3/5
It was fine. You have to pay for parking and I wasn’t expecting that. The room was fine, good amenities in the room. The pool was on the small side, not large enough to do small laps. Breakfast was available for an additional charge. I didn’t try it.
- 5/5
Property was clean, room were spacious, great location, parking can be difficult on the street and hotel parking is 10. Has a great gym and pool is heated. Great value and location
- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
Amazing experience , clean , amazing stuff , pet friendly
- 4/5
Great back patio that allowed for quiet, relaxing time in the sunshine. Kids also enjoyed the pool table and games in the lobby. Pool was also nice and warm. The water dispenser in the fitness center was not working. The lighting in the rooms was also a challenge since the bathroom light was connected to the sink lighting and was very bright when on and folks were trying to sleep.
- 1/5
I booked multi beds room but the hotel oversold and only had single bed rooms. Worst ever!
- 4/5
Great
- 5/5
I would recommend
- 5/5
Great service!
- 2/5
Signage for hotel is awful. Location is good. I’ll not be back
- 5/5
We have kids and like coming to this hotel for their amenities, and especially their spacious rooms with 2 King beds. We look forward to returning in the future.
- 4/5
Front desk staff at check in was super helpful and friendly! Pool was not working which was a bummer since, it was one of the reasons we chose to stay here. Construction was going on at time of stay, but overall it was a good stay.
- 5/5
Had a great stay.
- 4/5
QR in room for menu/drink items was incorrect.
- 4/5
5th floor is completed, but the carpet glue was overwhelming. They're nice people and make it as good as they can!
- 5/5
It was wonderful I was there with my son for a gymnastics meet. He did great we had fun. It was a great place to stay and hang out until the meet. The pool was lovely. He really loved that he got to swim with his teammate's. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay
- 5/5
Hotel was very clean. Convenient snacks available
- 5/5
Beautiful place to stay. Staff is friendly
- 5/5
I like the Aloft hotels- great staff and service. Some of the guests got a little loud, but that is life. Only recommendation I could make is ask people not to smile pot at the parking entrance. Little annoying to walk through the smell and wonder how much is clinging to you.
- 5/5
I loved my stay at the Aloft Hillsboro-Beaverton. Staff was very friendly, property was very clean but best of all was that the bar had honey whiskey -- my drink of choice that not very many bars carry. I will be back because my son lives in Beaverton, so please keep having honey whiskey available at the bar!
- 3/5
I’ve stayed at this property a couple times and found the experience good, not great. At comparable prices, neighboring hotels may be a better choice. Housekeeping missed my room one day and didn’t restock basic items on another. Also the room I was in seemed tired and in need of a few repairs. Nonetheless, a solid 3 stars in my opinion.
- 5/5
Nice and clean. They just didn’t have complimentary breakfast, you had to pay for all foods, and they weren’t cheap! But overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Would stay again.
- 5/5
The place was amazing and for the price you cant beat. Will be coming back and i wish i could add my tiktok video. I got for my sister for her bday and they even let us come in room before and help decorate
- 5/5
Great stay. Room was clean, staff was very nice. The hotel had everything needed for my stay.
- 3/5
The entrance to the hotel is on the street but there is no area to park or drop off luggage. You come in the back & you can’t get in the door unless you have a key or call the front desk. We called but no one answered. Another guest let us in. Parking is $10 taxes/night. Off street parking, if you can find any. Room & bed was comfortable. Strange frosted glass between the shower & the room like a peep show. We stayed for 1 night so didn’t used the pool, workout room or dining area.
- 3/5
It took a little while to check in as the computer system was acting up. The front desk clerk was kind and apologetic. The room was great, but then I found what looked to be a pubic hair on the toilet seat.
- 5/5
A very peaceful and quite facility. Great area.
- 5/5
Fun lobby
- 5/5
I really enjoyed my stay. The rooms were clean and modern. I had a lot to offer. We'll go back!
- 2/5
Had to change rooms again because the heater wasn't working. The tv had a notification on screen that wouldn't go away.
- 3/5
I woke up with itchy bumps that look like flea bites. The hotel allows pets (I did not bring a pet so potential fleas left from previous occupant in room). Noise transfers between rooms - heard banging first night, partying above til 1 AM second night, and a barking dog both nights. Ice bucket was half full of water, so had not been cleaned after previous occupant. It's not a terrible place, but it seems they need to improve their cleaning process, esp if they are going to allow pets in rooms, and would be great if they had a handle on guest noise levels.
- 4/5
Nice lobby with activities for the kids Convenient bar
- 5/5
Had a great rest at this location
- 3/5
Rooms are very comfortable. Lobby area decor fairly nice, just wish there was more comfortable seating. Make sure you scan the QR code in the parking lot. You need to pay a separate company. Upon check-in I was not told this and only realized the following day when I saw the QR signs in the parking lot.
- 4/5
After a big day of drs appts in the big city, my adult son and his friend enjoyed happy hour and had a quick swim in the indoor pool while I napped on the comfy king bed with the cloud- like pillows and bedding. It was a good stay, easy access to what we needed. We would stay again.
- 5/5
Loved the modern look. The shower was amazing!
- 5/5
Awesome will be back again

The female working the night shift when i checked in, was not very friendly whatsoever. In fact, she had seen me struggling because of my disability and didn’t ask at all if i probably needed help. I even had my legs give out due to my disease and all she said was “do you want me to call 911?”. she knew i was struggling, as i had been using a walker and couldn’t carry my 2 bags. she didn’t seem happy about having to carry them to my room that was at the completed end of the hallway. it was the very last maybe second to last room in the long hallway. after she had given me the interpretation that helping carry 1 of my bags because i have balancing issues due to blood clots in my lungs & legs was an inconvenience, i started being a little sassier because i was already having a bad time and then my room that i paid extra for, got given away so i had to take the room i didn’t want yet still pay the same more expensive amount. really made me feel like an inconvenience, when i had driven 2 hrs and booked this solely to relax and to get away from where i live. i won’t be returning here because of this 1 employee…
- 5/5
Nice, clean and updated hotel. Staff was friendly and plenty to do around the area.
- 5/5
Charging for parking in the middle of nowhere is not cool
- 5/5
The staff at the check in desk were friendly and helpful. The bar tender had the best advise for food venues and just the area around. It was a great place to stay.
- 4/5
Would have loved for the parking to be included, but otherwise we enjoyed our stay! Quiet, clean, comfortable, and we enjoyed the pool and beautiful park across the street! Thanks!
- 5/5
Very friendly and helpful staff
- 5/5
Our room was clean and had all the amenities we hoped for, except the only microwave was in the lobby. Besides that it was a great stay, perfect for our needs and we will be staying again!
- 5/5
This is such a fun and convenient spot. We always stay here whenever we're in town.
- 4/5
Walking trail and ease of access
- 3/5
Staff was a little strange, didn't know how to answer simple questions, like "where is the best place to unload luggage?" Rooms were nice, very spacious. Shower sucked, no pressure and barely any hot water. Also didnt get room service, even tho we didn't have a do not disturb sign on, had to ask for towels etc. Toiletries were great tho, dry bar!
- 4/5
It is a clean hotel
- 5/5
Nice place
- 5/5
Clean, modern hotel
- 5/5
This property is in a nice part of town. Parking was a little weird in an open lot down behind the hotel and didn’t know they just recently added pay to park. The front desk lady gave me a free code since it was just recently added. Hotel was very nice and clean and the room was much nicer and better layout than your standard hotel room. Fun experience.
