Courtyard by Marriott High Point

Next, the woman at the front desk, suggested we not miss the breakfast in the morning when I went down, it turns out that the breakfast wasn’t free, but you had to pay for everything including coffee. There was no free coffee anywhere in the lobby. When I asked the front desk, they told me I could use the coffee maker in the room, but I would have to pay for bottled water or carry the Keurig to the ice station and use water there. Then they didn’t even bother to clean the room at all. When I asked for ONE extra pillow, they told me they had none Lastly, I asked to check out 30 minutes late. They said they had none availability. Stay away!

The fluctuating room rate charged was very high for what was offered. The facility presented clean.

The pool water had a bunch of nats and bugs and u have to pay for the food no free breakfast and if I took the life water didn’t realize I would be charged 5 bucks for it but the room was fabulous other than those few minor things would definitely stay again

We chose this hotel because it's close to our son's house and we were very pleasantly surprised by the property, and the wonderful staff.

Breakfast- delicious. Bistro staff went above and beyond to separate yogurt parfait and toppings for our 3 year old. Hotel staff was excellent and so personable EVERY interaction we had with them. I really wish I would have gotten names, but, you know, toddlers. Noon checkout- amazing. Honestly, I have nothing bad to say or any area that could be improved. I would definitely stay here again. Well- my Starbucks coffee could have been a little stronger ;)

The breakfast was on point and the lady working the counter at breakfast from New York was friendly and very very very helpful. And the grits..........babyyyyyyyy.....they were the best grits I have EVER had in my life! Housekeeping did a HORRIBLE job with cleaning our room. Hair was everywhere and the made was made up by just throwing the comforter on the bed. I have pictures.

The room I stayed in was VERY nice, certainly a good product for the price. The woman who checked me in the firtst night was both helpful and welcoming, with a wonderful personality. I had two MINOR problems, asnd both were attended to quickly.

All in all, it was great. My next trip to North Carolina I will stay there again as I have in the past. I only wish I would’ve had a chance to meet Tony. We talked on the phone. She helped me with my room and I was so hoping to meet her while I was there.

There was some kind of EXTREMELY strong perfume sprayed up and down the hallways that was so strong it was coming into my room and I had to sleep with a mask on and my blanket over my mouth and nose because it was all I could taste and smell

The staffs and workers are great!!! Sadly amenities are useless.No welcome bottled waters for the guests, instead you have to pay $5 per bottle. The swimming pool is freezing cold. No breakfast inclusion for the high rate charged per night. Never again to Courtyard!

I liked the property very pretty back outdoor patio, felt breakfast should have been included for the price. The was a very high pitched sound in our room (our friends next door didn't have it) asked staff to take a look and try and find and fix it, no one ever looked at it and they never cleaned the rooms. Noise kept me up all night very frustrating.

Staff was really friendly. Food was good. Housekeeper walked in on us which could’ve been bad. There was also mold in the shower and on the shower curtain and when I told the front desk they just apologized and didn’t try to fix the situation.

Clean and the bakery/bar was nice Pool wasn’t open and the mall across the street was shut down.

Close to HPU Breakfast wasn’t included

We arrived and they only had 2 rooms booked for us and we had booked and paid through Expedia for 3. We were in town for a wedding so we had to make other arrangements for the others. Staff at hotel were rude and said deal with Expedia and people from Expedia said we can’t do anything until Monday when the manager comes in?!

It didn’t start until 6:30 and we had to leave at 6. They wouldn’t give us coffee as wasn’t open yet but we could smell the coffee. Sink broken, shower wall filthy, toilet dirty, air conditioner made loud noise all night with musty smell.

I stay in a lot of Courtyards and overall they are great. This was I was surprised to find put us in a room with a hole in the shower wall. Looked like someone had punched it and the tile was all broken. The hooks to hang towels were also all broken. When I called the front desk to make sure they know and wanted us using a broken shower they said it was fine. I was concerned about water now making things worse but they did not seem to care.

Horrible staff (no one knew what was going on), pool out of order for 4 days, room smelled bad, tiny trash can, so there was trash everywhere, shower was scalding hot and the temperature control didn’t work properly, one person in our party got burned, and the toilet handle was broken!

Walls are thin. From the tv to opening/closing their curtains, I could hear EVERYTHING the family next door was doing.

We used the pull out couch for my son. It had not been cleaned. The coffee machine was broken (which they did come and fix) and the beds were not very comfortable.

The hotel was clean and easy to get to. The hotel also offered plenty of onsite parking and a fantastic Starbucks in the lobby. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. Overall it was an excellent experience. No free breakfast was served. However, the restaurant did offer breakfast at an additional charge.

Got married on Sat 8/31/24, spent 2 nights at hotel prior to 8/31/24. Was an excellent stay, the beds were super comfy and I got great sleep!

The breakfast (surcharge) was wonderful. The staff were so nice. The room floor plan was a bit odd. Barely a TV view from one side of the bed; no view from the other side; and the sofa was not comfortable. Check-in and check-out were smooth. Personnel were friendly.

There was no running water and there were reports of bed bugs. We had to find a new place to stay late at night. Will not be going back to this hotel ever.

We had a bit of a wait for rooms to be cleaned for check-in, but the staff was great and you could see them pitching in in other areas to make it happen as quickly as possible.

Booked this hotel for a doctor visit next day , I actually lived 1and a half hour away so made a reservation. I needed a pool for disability exercises and there was no pool available because of construction. There was no notification while making reservations. Had to make get another room at another place. Very Very disappointed and hotel was not accommodating at ALL or apologetic at all.

The room was huge! The staff were amazing and helped us with directions and recommendations to local restaurants. They were so sweet and helpful! The rooms were amazing and although I only stayed 1 night it was a great night.

Nice place to stay while doing some furniture shopping with my sister. Hotel was clean and quiet, staff pleasant, and the back courtyard was lovely to sit outside in the evening. Pool was under construction so that was a bit disappointing but we loved that we could print our boarding passes ourselves in the lobby. Would stay again.
