Our room was very clean, comfortable and functional. The staff that we interacted with were all very nice. It was a very convenient location for us. There was plenty of on site parking but it would have been nicer if it was free instead of the $10 a night charge.

Just a 5 minute walk to the Metro! So convenient. They also have a shuttle that can take you to nearby places including the metro if you dont want to walk. Quiet property which is always suprising these days! Housekeeping was fabulous! Would stay here again. Front desk very friendly and helpful!

The hotel was ok but when making my reservation, I noticed that a wheelchair accessible room, for the five nights I would be there would cost an additional $400 and that is terrible. I was not going to pay extra for being wheelchair dependent for something that was never my fault. The room size was TOTALLY the same but this hotel, unlike others I’ve stayed in, wants to charge more for that, for no reason. It’s just bad. When I checked in, no one offered to change my room type to a roll in shower without charging me more. Thankfully it was barely enough room for me to safely take a shower each day and night using my own shower chair, which I brought with me. I’m not sure I would ever stay here again being that their policies are to charge more to people needing ADA accessible bathrooms. I didn’t know that was even legal.

Staff was really professional and kind; we enjoyed our 3 night stay.

The rooms are clean, with very friendly front desk staff. I was impressed with how close it is to the metro.

Good location, comfortable bed. No services daytime. No coffee available and bistro closed during lunchtime. Water pressure was very, difficult to take a shower.

Beautiful courtyard - was wishing the weather was better to enjoy it more Low water pressure in shower. Staff seemed at time a bit discombobulated. When I read their writeup on web, I thought breakfast was free and it was not. The “Bistro” eatery inside the hotel should have had longer hours during the day.

Everything was lovely. I ended up getting sick while there and the front desk staff graciously allowed me to check out at 1 instead of the normal checkout, which is noon. Having thay extra time allowed me to gather myself and get prepared for my day before heading back home 2 hours away. The food was excellent. Will be staying again. The location was a bit interesting. Just one of those things where if you're not paying attention, you might miss it. I would not have expected a hotel to be in that spot, but at the same time it was central to where I needed to be or go. And this is not really a complaint because it was quiet and again central to everywhere I needed to be.

Really nice, enjoyed our room with balcony and a tree loaded with blooms just outside. The village of Herndon next door seems like a world apart from the intense development all around.

the toilet leaked, We were offered another room, but we stayed in our room and used towels around the toilet. Also, the hotel accepts pets, but has no outdoor trash cans to deposit poop bags.

The shuttle was great for our pick up & drop off, we also use both evenings for local restaurants. Very happy with our stay and lovely lady nights at the end of 32 days holiday in the USA.

The desk staff was great and very attentive! I was immediately greeted by a friendly gentleman who was awesome.

They had airport shuttle. Shuttle pickup is very unscheduled and not clear. We had to take a cab. Morning shuttles don't start until 7:00 a.m. so no shuttle for early morning flights. Had to take a cab again. If you're looking for airport shuttle.. I wouldn't stay at this hotel.

Breakfast was average but filling. Location is a 7 minute walk to Herndon Metro Silver Line station. Easy to get into downtown DC. Quiet room. Reception could have said, "Hello, welcome to Marriott." Seemed uninterested in her job.

The location was good. One of the check in person brought us a blanket and soft drink. He was very nice. I thought it was not stocked well. No maid service after being asked for it a few times. Needed to get our own towels off the cart. No glasses restocked

No opinion, since my reservation was not honored by the hotel. Front desk was horrible. They supposedly oversold and told me that they made arrangements at another Courtyard a 5 minute drive away. It was actually at 20 minute drive. When I got there, they had been told the expected “walks” were no longer needed. So after an hour plus of discussions between the two operations managers I was given a room at 9:30 pm. What a nightmare! See above.

Hotel itself was great. Loved the clean minimalist rooms & bathroom. Staff was friendly. Parking was easy & safe. Very minor note is that the lobby air freshener is overbearing. I'm still sneezing.

I was a bout to leave staying in this hotel. Only the lady at the front desk was wonderful treatment make me stay. Her name Monique Pa Grasse. She also allow me stay 2 hours more scene my flight is late flight through IAD.

The room that we get in was not that clean and bed seem to be not done properly for the next guest. The bathroom was terrible the floor is not mopped and the totality flush is not working properly and the exhaust fan of the bathroom is not working.

We liked the ease of checking in and the room was very clean and comfortable. Cons were that there isn’t a microwave in the room, the noise level was high, and the so-called restaurant was expensive and the wait was extremely long to get food.

Was a little surprised by this hotel not having an included breakfast as the website said several different options to have one. Also, no coffee in lobby except a Starbucks to purchase food and drinks. I personally don't like to use in room coffee makers.

Heating in room didn't work also TV in bedroom didn't work. Charlese tried to repair, realized she could not fix them. Moved us from room # 138 to room # 238. After that everything was wonderful.

I had to travel in from Ohio for Surgery at Reston Hospital. The hotel was only 5 minutes away from the hospital and provided a clean and quiet place for me to recover during the week. Staff were all very friendly and helpful as well!

She was not really friendly, asked "what do you mean pay at facility"? Were given room keys then late that night received email from credit card provider charged more than on booking statement. When checked out received invoice with correct amount. Otherwise decent room, comfortable/quiet and very clean. Odd setup with TV placement, parallel to the bed. Were there for family visit so hardly used it.

Front desk was very nice and accommodating for our very late check-in. Our hotel room did have a bit of cigarette smoke smell in it upon arrival however the bed was comfortable and the property was clean and quiet.

Loved it overall

Good area, nice rooms. Stayed for 13 hours, and in that span the fire alarm went off twice. Once at 3:30 in the morning. Both times, we were told by the manager that it was a faulty sprinkler sensor so just more inconvenient than anything.

A nice, convenient and well maintained property close to Dulles airport. Friendly and helpful staff, easy shuttle to the airport. Great for layovers or short stays, day rooms.

When I checked in an hour after my wife had died at a local hospital, the staff at the front desk was warm, caring and comfortable. They even sent me a sympathy card after I left. That was so kind.

I later received a corporate email apologizing for the “inconvenience”, but claiming (for the record) that their subsequent inspection discovered no bugs in my room or the surrounding rooms. Who knows whether that inspection actually took place, or whether a qualified person(s) performed it. I’m not upset about the whole thing - though the email left a sour taste. But, on the principle of good customer service, I should have been reimbursed. In any case, I will not be staying there again.

I left my phone charger plugged into the bedside outlet and was told I did not. I know it was there so I didn’t appreciate it not being returned. It was an expensive long cord charger. I am not happy about it not being returned to me. Not the Marriott Way!!

Th experience here was not worth the price. When I get there (mind you, I booked well in advance when there were 5 rooms with king sized bed). I was told there were no more kings available and take a queen bed at the same price. Also, the WiFi is free....but its absolutely slow. In order to stream anything on your devices you need to pay 5 bucks a night per device....This is my last time coming here
