As soon we arrived, the check in was quick and professional. You can smell the fresh and clean of the lobby, but we realized that the cleanliness and fresher was actually in the whole hotel. We stayed 4 people in the room so we needed more towels, thought it will be an issue like others hotels that I stayed in the past, but no, when I asked about it , the manager who was at the reception at that moment help me giving me not only with the towels and pillows, she make sure that we feel comfortable. Everyone was so nice. Breakfast was delicious.

This hotel was very clean. I check beds and such, no problem. Staff was always willing to help and pleasant. Some areas are a bit outdated. The shower in our room caused some confusion until I realized the hot and cold water were opposite from the norm, ie, hot was cold and cold was hot. Otherwise, very nice. I would stay here again.

Clean across the board, efficient desk staff, well lit and very comfortable. No gluten free items on breakfast buffet but that’s always pretty hit or miss. Will stay again!

Only complaint was the pool was cold and chlorine smell was overpowering, but otherwise great hotel for the price. We would definitely stay here again!

Room had a slow draining tub/shower combo so only one person can take shower in an hour the other person wait for hour to get the water level down in pool and need to take shower after pool. Luckily only two went in pool.

I should not have had to spend this much time on Marriott’s overcharge error. I had ample evidence that Expedia had already paid Marriott for the room and have provided that to your Management.

TV was terrible! The screen top quarter was much darker than rest of screen! I asked them to look at it but nothing changed!

The room was pretty average, but the bathroom was SMALL! The door came within an inch of the toilet when you swung it open and closed. That’s my biggest complaint. The free breakfast was mediocre. I’ve had better for sure. But overall it was a pleasant stay.

1. Noisy! We were given a room next to the elevator. We can hear the elevator going up and down through the wall. Took us awhile to figure out where the noise is from. The constant sound woke us up early morning. 2. Noisy! The ac unit is extremely loud. The room furniture seems modern and newish. Guess they didn’t bother to replace the old ac unit. 3. The bathroom is really tiny. Overall really bad stay and will avoid if you want a good rest.

Keys wasn’t working it was programmed 4 times back up and down from office to suite (both room keys)( so inconvenient) and it was a very late that we were checking was already exhausted. I just wanted to go to bed.then the emergency light keep on blinking all night long( once again attention was called to the front desk and was told that there was no maintenance worker available. They were going to give a discount)then no lights at all in the room by morning time because the power was done, uncertain areas of the hotel which of course, was on the side where our 2 rooms were, elevators were done like to use. The bathroom was stung like in the hotel room was done, and that was how the blinking in one of the suites which was the upper suite finally got the lights to stop blinking. after speaking to the morning front desk, I was just given the information to speak to a manager, but the manager herself was new and wasn’t going to be until Monday.

The front desk staff were very personable but we were dismayed to find our room hadn’t been cleaned properly. There was old rice left in the microwave and a used tea bag in the coffee maker. We also think that the bathroom amenities hadn’t been properly replaced. There were no drinking cups or hand lotion bottles. It made us start to question if the room had been vacuumed or the sheets changed since the last guest.

Our stay at this hotel was overall fine, but the evening of the one night we stayed, we used the pool. After spending some time with my kids in the pool, I began to notice some very disgusting looking globs in the pool. It made me feel sick to my stomach, and I feel sick to my stomach now even recalling this. It was gross.

Hated the price gouging because of school R I T graduation. Bed was inadequate—a set of box springs with a 2/3 in pad, we could hear the springs when we moved. No one serviced the room for the 2 day stay. No linen service. No garbage removal. No vacuuming. Nothing.

Hotel was perfect for our overnight stay. Pool was clean, room was clean and stocked, service was great. Free breakfast was great but only one waffle maker which cause a line.

I was pleasantly surprised when the breafast was very good they had vegan sausage and kelbsa to almond milk and soy milk options plus friendly staf will be returning to that area in 2 months and this is where ill stay again for a longer duration and love it!!..my husband said the same thing this will be our favorite hotel in this area highly recommended 😀

Pros: compatible price, free breakfast and parking, free charge stations for EV. Cons: far from downtown Rochester, feels like in the middle of nowhere, the night I stayed, 3 police cars chasing a car and arrested the driver right at the entrance of the hotel area. No complimentary bottle water in guest room, TV in my room not work, drain of shower tub is blocked. Quite limited breakfast and No refills of food even it’s still 20 mins to breakfast closing. Really doubt this is a hotel managed by Marriott?

Maintenance of rooms could be better. Bath didn’t drain well and carpet was mildew smell.

It was just what I needed for a one night stay.

Great staff on duty at the desk for check-in. She was very helpful and friendly. Room was very clean. My grandson loved the pool. Great location close to food and shopping. The coffee was fresh was before breakfast time. Breakfast was well stocked as well. My wife and grandson had bagels and waffles. Both were happy with what they had.

My stay was clean, quiet and peaceful but it was clear at check in that the room I had booked for three nights had been given away when I specifically said I’d be checking in at the wee hours of the morning. I asked to be moved to a room with a king sized bed as I had originally booked for my remaining nights and after giving me the runaround just flat out said “no.” No apology or discount for not having the room I had actually requested. To add insult to injury I checked into the room that they gave me the first night and there was a lightbulb and globe from the center bed light on the stand between the two beds. Someone knew it was there because there was painters tape over the lightbulb socket. I asked three separate staff members to - at the very least-remove the globe and bulb if it could not be fixed. To me, this is unacceptable- I got the same fake smile and “ok” but nothing was done and it was still there when I checked out. I was too busy and exhausted while I was there to get on them about it, but seriously- I’ve never seen anything this blatantly out of place. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and I could sleep & shower for the purpose of my visit but beyond that, the manager just gave me small talk and a smile and didn’t actually listen to or follow through on a single thing I asked about and I wasn’t asking for much. This hotel could be a great stay with the right management. I addressed one other problem w management & that was ignored too.

Disappointed that the pool wasnt working both Friday And Saturday night. Currently pregnant and one of the reasons I picked the hotel was because of back issues and how much swimming alleviated the back pain. Had a loud youth hockey team and their parents staying this weekend. Not the hotel's fault but the walls on the first floor are pretty thin.

The rooms were clean and the grounds clean... there was no room cleaning done and we had to ask for towels.. Sunday morning breakfast was sad.. they let things run out. I did not sleep comfortably on the beds... pillows were far too soft to be supportive.. Our reason for being there was a funeral and then to not be comfortable and the breakfast be lacking... just not an experience i want to go through again.

The property was easy to find. We liked that we were close to the elevator and didn’t have to walk very far. The room was nice but there were someone’s socks behind luggage rack.

This hotel was very clean and the room didn't have the typical smell of chemical detergent. The pillows and bed weren't great, but they were unusual for a hotel. The breakfast was better than your average breakfast at similar places.

The staff at check in was nice. We were mainly there to get a few hours sleep before getting back on the road. Highly rated so disappointing experience. Toilet seat broken, bathroom not very clean and very small. There was a bag over the smoke detector in the room. Breakfast was supposed to start at 6 but still had old food in containers- maybe we were too early. We left and got food later.

Wanted to check in a 2:10pm and was rejected to come back at 3pm to check in with a prepaid room. I traveled 8 hours across country and was tired.

Checking in at this Fairfield was a very bad experience although we had had reservations for 2 weeks we were told they didn’t have a room for us. We had even called two hours earlier to make sure our room was available.

The room was dirty. Sheets were rumpled and had been slept in. The shower drain was filled with hair and a half-used bar of soap was on the ledge. The room contained only one towel. The staff would not connect us with the manager, who, despite a written request, never called back. Very poor and unprofessional service.

Our 1 night stay was nice and ose to RIT. Room was clean. The continental breakfast was typical. Would prefer the scrambled eggs not be from powdered eggs, but its typical of many mid priced hotels. Of course, this cant be compared to the other higher end Marriot hotels.

I have stayed at this hotel several times. I was not given the room I had requested and there were not clean towels in the room when I arrived. I shouldn’t have to ask for towels when arriving. My biggest complaint was not receiving the requested room. When I spoke with someone on the phone requesting the room, I was told it would be granted. I was told to book the room online and then call to request a certain room. Obviously, this did not happen as promised.

My family and I arrived at the hotel after a seven hours drive and no staff was available to do the check in. We waited 30 minutes until a staff member showed up to check us in but we were told that no queen beds were available and I had made my reservation 2 months ago. The front desk staff member was the only worker on site running the business. He was the one who had to clean the room while we were in the waiting area. We waited almost 2 hours for a room.
