The body wash was empty in the shower the shower curtain should have been threw away . Water stood in the shower stopped up while taking a shower . Very offensive cigarette smell in the room ask to ha e another room and it smelled better but was smelling through the vents. Really bad dog scratches on the bathroom door. We shouldn’t have to ever pay for that kind of service. Would never go back there . No coffee pot no iron old out dated furniture couch had stains on it stains on lamps.

"When u check out "REMOVE YOUR THINGS" never been treated so badly by any hotel employee I was really upset I had already paid for 5 nights before the 7th I had to go replace debit card which was not my fault but the way I was talked to for embarrassing and hurt me The room was Clean, everything worked except water wasn't hot enough other than that up until April 7, 2026 most staff if not all of the staff was friendly until 1 person, on April 6th my card was locked due to suspicion of fraudulent charges, so I had to go to replace my debit card which was only 2 miles down the road the morning staff understood and also put in consideration that electric went out the day before for 1 hour, later than night and next morning it was raining hard which made me need to leave later to get ID, and I'm Disabled Veteran and can't jump up in rain and leave had to wait to take medication also loosing money in washer and dryer but staff dried my clothes & told will be refunded funded for both next day told only for dryer not $3.75 for washer 2 days later never refunded for washer let's it go after allowed me to keep my things in room to go get new card paid by 2:00pm. When returned was told REMOVE UR THINGS AT check out 11:00am until 3:00pm if you stay again I am a member with Hilton, IHG, and Wyndham, none OF THOSE located here next tune I will just stay in Jackson TN

We have stayed at this property many times in the last 5 years. Last year when we visited we learned that it was under new ownership. They are doing a lot of renovations to the property, but the breakfast is not as good as it used to be.

Staff very nice. Place run down. Parking lot area was sheet of ice. We had an ice storm But roads were clear and other businesses but they never bothered to plow. It was a nightmare

Newly renovated room , amazing mattress and pillows, front desk staff were kind and thoughtful. The room next to ours was being renovated. The renovations started at 8AM and lasted until 6PM. If you are a late morning sleeper, ask for a room away from construction. if you are working nights, ask for a room away from the construction noise.

Weather was bad lots of snow and ice I was just looking for anything until daylight that room was the only thing available but I’m sure happy it was. The room was pretty nice I was very happy with it. I was only around 85 miles from home but I do recommend anyone who wants a good deal and a nice place to stay that would be my choice every time

It is a good value. It was a quick and easy check-in and check-out process. It was not too busy, and the staff were helpful and responsive. Water pressure in the shower was great. Free WiFi was good as well. Conveniently located right near the highway. The room was not terribly clean, but it was not filthy. The floors needed a bit of sweeping, and I had to have the staff change the comforter on my bed because it had something on it. They did so without complaint and were kind about it. Inside the covers were clean and free of any signs of unwanted friends. The bed creaks loudly when you turn; thankfully, I brought a noise machine.

The staff helped us with a room change. Had an issue with original room. The young man was polite and concerned for our comfort. The continental breakfast left something to be desired though.

The one was spotless, everything was good inckuding the workers. The only thing that was a little bothersome was they are remodeling and they was remodeling the room right next to mine . So got woke up at 7:30 with saws running and hammering and banging until 5:00 p.m. the same with the next morning except they didn't start until around 9 or 10 in morning. But my room was already remodeled and very good.

The room was generally ok, but there was no running water in the shower the afternoon I arrived so I was not able to shower before visiting people I had come to see. The water was restored to reasonable flow overnight, so I was able to shower the next morning. Also, noisy construction work was occurring one or two doors down, all day both days, so I was not able to study or nap in my room.

Room was good, but construction workers were very loud above us. There was hardly anyone staying there, so I don't know why we were given this room. There was no coffee pot in the room.

The staff was nice, the room was a nice size and clean, good value for the money, The only thing I would change is a little better selection on the breakfast, and more pillows on the bed, because neither me nor my wife can sleep with our head flat, so we had to have a couple of throw pillows we brought from home to be able to sleep.

If I could give zero stars on this hotel I would. I was hesitate on booking this hotel but it’s the only one located in Henderson, Tennessee. And after reading the reviews of how they were renovating and that the place was clean, I decided to give it a shot. I walked through two different rooms and both were complete disgust. Live and dead bugs all throughout the room. The first room was carpeted with several stains and the carpet did not even go all the way to the wall. You can only imagine how many bugs were in that space. The second room was not as nasty but still disgusting. I ended up telling them I was not staying there and got a room 30 minutes away. They only refunded a portion of my expense. I DO NOT recommend this hotel and I’m not sure who is writing the reviews but I’m assuming they are fake people.

Front desk was great. Got into the room and it smelled horrible. I sprayed the room with freshener but it came back after 2 hours. Bathroom was not very clean. Furniture with missing pieces. See pics. Then got ice and found a cockroach in the ice. Highly do not recommend staying here.

We had a newly renovated room. It looked good and felt very comfortable. The staff was awesome. It was conveniently located for us. It was everything we needed at a reasonable price. I’ll be staying here again for sure.

I liked the access and location of the property. The room were clean, but the desk and chair was in poor condition. The dining hall was nice, but very few options to eat. Backfilling food was slow when out.

We booked this hotel because of the pictures of the big water slide at the pool. Our granddaughter was super excited about it. When we arrived, there was no water slide. The room was dirty and hot. We turned on the A/C and 6 hours later it was starting to cool down. Continental breakfast was very limited.

It was dirty with bugs on the floor and was 90 degrees when we entered. It never got below 80 all night! We were miserable and we won’t be returning.

A quaint little hotel under new management. They are doing a lot of renovations to improve the property. They already have it VERY clean and running smoothly. Given time to finish their updates, I can see that this will be a great place to stay while in town.

Very nice hotel for a small town. Only complaint is we asked for a non smoking pet friendly room for our little fur babies. Our room was clean and nice but smelled like smoke/musty smell. We survived! Ordered a pizza from dominoes and it was delivered in 20 min. & very good!! Would stay here again.

Nice place for the price

The only two clear negatives for me were the pool being closed for renovation, and the air conditioner making the window curtains billow and gap open. I solved that by taking one of the couch cushions and wedging it in the space so the curtains would stay put. But obviously, that situation should be looked at. Before checking out the next morning, I looked forward to coffee in the lobby, since there was no coffee provided in the room...but while I did see a coffee dispenser, it was open and empty. Oh well. I went down the road to a breakfast place that was open. I was comfortable at the Americana and enjoyed a good night's sleep.

Peacful night, but sad about breakfast options

The staff were very friendly and professional but my room had nothing but a microwave and mini fridge and a TV that didn't work. I had a suite which was why I felt a little perplexed. The room was ok, but there was dirt and hair in the bathroom. A kettle or coffee pot to heat water would have greatly improved the stay, if nothing else

Overall, the stay was good. The lady who checked us in is very kind and helpful. My only real complaint is the housekeeping staff pounds on the door at 8am when we were trying to sleep in. We told them we were still in the room and wouldn’t be leaving until later, but they still came back around 30 minutes later, knocking again. 8am is too early to be pounding on doors and waking people up that may want to sleep in.

We had a great stay! There isn’t much of a continental breakfast but there are places near by to eat. We were there 4 nights and our room was cleaned everyday. The staff was accommodating and very nice.

Breakfast was not anything other than rotten bananas and cereal. The milk and juice were in.pitchers. Disappointed. Soap and shower gel was empty.

It was alright, but out dated. It is close to a highway-some noise from it, and hard to tell where office is. Neighbors were loud at 4:20 AM & birds noisy then too. No hair dryer in rooms. Breakfast very simple-not much (juice, toast, fruit, mini muffins, 3 cereals.) Nothing beside fruit and juice if you have gluten allergies. Outdoor pool was closed for maintenance. We just needed a place to sleep on our long trip home. So it worked, but would go somewhere else more updated in a bigger city.

I was looking for a cheap but comfortable stay. For the most part it fulfilled my wishes. I still thought I could have done better on the ROI.

This is the only hotel at this time in Henderson Tennessee. They are remodeling which is needed! Breakfast is very sparse. Only 3 pillows for a king bed!

Very comfortable beds. Quiet the night we were there. The staff accommodated our first floor request. No ice machine but the front desk gave us a small package of ice. We were told the new owners are no longer serving breakfasts.

Bugs both live and dead due to the large gap under the door. We were not told the wouldn't be breakfast in the morning until after we checked in. No staff was available that day as well. We will stay elsewhere next time.

When we got into our room, we noticed our sink faucet had blue toothpaste residue on it. The ‘old’ hair dryer hanger was VERY dusty (no hair dryer in it). Our bathtub faucet had a steady stream leak the entire time we were there. The carpet looked like it had seen better days / maybe needed a deep cleaning. We put the do not disturb on our door, & they still entered our room (we were not there at the time). I wouldn’t have an issue with this normally, but they replaced items that were on the sink counter…& still did not clean the faucet of the blue toothpaste residue. Lovely lobby. Breakfast was pretty decent. They had biscuits & gravy (among other items), which really made my husband happy. On the second day, tho, I found a hair in the gravy. :/ We stayed 2 nights, really only to sleep there - we were in for a funeral- so we didn’t bother to mention some things. In spite of some things, I would potentially stay there again, if need be. Not the worst place I’ve stayed in, not the best. Staff probably makes the biggest difference for me for a review. If I had mentioned the faucet thing, or other things, I do feel like they would have been taken care of.

Check in took over 20 minutes and we were the only people checking in. Loud. Filthy. It appeared some people were living on site. Rooms were humid and moist.

No soap or shampoo in dispensers in shower. Towels were so thin you could almost see through them. No hair dryer or stopper in sink. Key card would not work in the first room we were assigned. Had to go back to front desk and they assigned us a different room.

There was a used plastic fork on the floor next to the table when i arrived. I would recommend driving 17 miles up the road to stay in Jackson. This is what I will do I ever have to stay here again.

The rooms were comfortable, dated and needing some repair. Door striker plates loose and gaps around door. Carpet needed good cleaning. The bed was comfortable, the shower was nice, bath exhaust fan was loud. Breakfast was good, pool area was nice. Noisy at times but main road was close, so that is to be expected. Fire dept and police across other road. Nice access to grocery and restaurants. Overall stay was good and would do again, for the money it is worth it.

Driving into the property was not a good first impression. When we went to check in the lobby smelled terribly of smoke. A guest of the hotel was walking in with ammunition attached to his belt. We knew right away this wasn’t the place that felt safe for our grandchildren. We left the premises and didn’t stay. This was sad as the children had been traveling for hours and had to continue on until we found a suitable safe place to stay.

Rooms are typically motel style. Only downside was the missing sink plug. Breakfast was exceptionally good with a nice choice of food,especially the mixed fruit option. Had a pool with a waterslide that would be appreciated by those with children. A pleasant 2 night stay.

They were so nice and polite. Room spotless. They even allowed us to park our Harley trike and trailer under the awning so it would be safe from the rain. So kind and put our minds at ease.

1. Toilet ws wobbly when sitting on it 2. Both shower gel and shampoo dispenser in shower were not functionable 3. Found a chocolate candy in carpet next to bed. Was melted in and hard to re.ove. 4. Also suggested that they at least have a small bar of soap at the sink to wash hands after using bathroom. The room was quiet and beds were comfortable.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was overall fine and bed was very comfortable. The building itself and rooms could use a little updating and maybe a bit more attention in cleaning but overall good value for the price.

Pictures of lobby and rooms are accurate. Pool was drained as it was not yet open for the season. Staff said it is a very popular attraction in the summer. Breakfast included hot items, eggs sausage and biscuits, and OJ and milk in jugs in a fridge rather than out of a electric dispenser. I like the jugs here better. Waffles are in the freezer and there's a toaster. There are some old bad reviews from a group many years ago who was here at a conference and left a ridiculously huge amount of cash in a room which then went missing. Obviously the person who did that faced justice. But more important, the owners went out and bought programmable safes for every room so that such a thing can not happen again. I recommend this place. The main negative was you can hear people in the room above walking around which woke me a few times.

The inn was located away from heavy traffic in an area of calm and quiet. Coffee was provided in the room and a delicious Southern breakfast was available in the dining area. The staff was friendly and helpful with local directions. We will stay there again.

Don't do it!!! This hotel is disgusting. The bedding was so dirty. Yellow crusty spots on the sheets and filthy pillows The floors didnt looked vacuumed. The towels were all stained and yellow. There were holes all over in the walls. I have photos of all this. I would add them if I could.

Every time we stay here, we are grateful to the sweet people that work and own this place. Yes it might be a little outdated but you can tell it's much loved. It's also allot safer then staying in Jackson. My kiddo absolutely loves the pool. Thank you once again

Very well taken care of and the staffing was excellent!

The housekeeper was very helpful with any request asked of her. But there was a time that we left our room with the lights off except one, and when we came back three hours later, there were several lights on in the room. After checking our belongings, nothing was taken. This happened after the room had been cleaned so it wasn't housekeeping that left the lights on. And for it being a nonsmoking room, it smelled like someone smoked in the room prior to our stay. I think there needs to be improvements all around. And one last thing... The sign out front with the name of the property needs a facelift in the worst way.

As this is the only hotel within 20 miles of the town, it will do. The room was not cleaned well. There were stains on towels and sheets, not fresh stains but old ones. They need to replace their linens. No hairdryer in room. Rooms are very very sound proof which was nice as there was big family beside us wuth small children and we never heard the first thing. Apparently many rooms are long term stayers. Pool and slide were a plus as were the employees who were very accommodating when we ran across a booking issue and worked with us to get it straightened out. If they were buy new linens to replace the dingy stained old ones and fired their housekeeper or held them up to standards then this property would be a 9/10.

A/C worked, beds were comfortable, pool was awesome, breakfast was the same offering eack day but for the price was better than I would have expected. Definitely would stay again when visiting family in the area.
