The king suite was spacious and very clean. It was a little unpleasant having smokers near us. You can smell it in the halls. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

They had bedbugs and they kept biting my boyfriend and I. The bathrooms need to be re-caulked and the pool has a lot of bugs in it. Also eating there is expensive.

Our stay was phenomenal. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and the bed was super comfy. Most of the casino has been renovated. It was bright, clean and has a great variety of gaming options. Love the addition of the Yard House bar and restaurant. Will definitely return to Sunset Station soon.

Pool closed to early 7pm, to enjoy, complementary individual shampoo bottle was half used and Water pressure was really low in the shower. food at the bras fork was stale and old tasting. gift shop closed to early only one of the elevators worked. Bathtub in room was poorly cocked the cocking was coming off as I was trying to bathe.

Great location 3 elevators were broken at first, they wouldn’t say why, I’ve had previous experience with getting stuck in an elevator and it is a trauma for me and my WORST fear, so bad my husband and I walked up 21 flights of stairs to avoid the elevators for the first day. After that one of the elevators made a horrible squeal all the way up and I refused to get back on it. I might sound crazy but it was terrifying at the top floor. The lack of communication was very upsetting.

I upgraded my room to a king mini suite, The space was amazing, very nice room and was quite quiet for being on the 8th floor. The couch and extra chair was uncomfortable 9very hard) but we made it work. We were traveling for a medical surgery at Mountain View Hospital. Luckily my husband didn't need to stay overnight there and could enjoy the hotel. We had a lovely dinner at the Yard House restaurant. Couch was very hard to sit on, the club chair was also very firm. We made it work.

Sunset Station is my go to hotel in Henderson, NV when I visit my nephew. I am always impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. The rooms are clean and spacious. I have always had a great experience at the Sunset.

some of the aweosme highlights are its kid friendly with a 72 lane bowling alley, a movie theatre and a kids play zone. one thing i didnt like was most of the cashout machine where not working and i would have to walk over to the cashier area where a couple of the machine where working fine. all in all, i would recommend staying here cause i see myself booking here again in the future.

The rate was twice as much as a 5 star on the strip. It was a tough one to get over. I asked for extra pillows due to a health issue. They brought 1 said it was all they were allowed. That was a problem! We spent 1500 in two days for food and room a bit excessive. We wont probably stay there again unless prices are lower. We were celebrating someone very special so the extra money spent was worth it.

It was nice and clean. I reserved 3 rooms for 1 day 2 of the rooms A/C unit would not turn off all night long and one of the rooms the A/C unit would make laud noise when it was turning on. Could not sleep all night long I think I should get a refund for 2 rooms!! I was too tired to call the front desk and too busy to check to see if they worked correctly. That’s not my job. I am the customer.. I was here to visit my very sick and dying uncle not to have fun..

Just amazing

Staff was fantastic. Not a lot of choices of penny machine games... make sure to extend your check out, you must call the morning of and there's a fee. Pool was huge and cabanas were affordable. We had a suite and it was AMAZING Just missing a microwave

I extended my stay by an additional day as I moved to California 6 weeks ago. I was in town to sign off on the sale of my old place right down the street. I had absolutely no issues other than the TV wasn’t turning on. But they resolved it quickly. Clean property and helpful staff!

Like the location of the hotel, especially like the oyster bar. I will eat their three or four times on a business or personal trip.

The hotel was easy to find. Room was clean beds were comfortable after a long day at a music festival. Shower pressure and temperature are great!

The room didn’t have a refrigerator, coffee maker, the water pressure was terrible and the bed wasn’t comfortable- and the pillows were awful. Honestly tossed and turned all night. The pool closed at 5pm - so didn’t get to enjoy that at all either. I’ve stayed at better places for way less. The staff was nice though.

Zero amenities, elevator requires key and many guests were having trouble with their keys not working. Can’t bring water into pool area and there is no shade near the pool.

Excellent place to stay and play on a brief trip to Las Vegas. This location always treats the clientele with respect and provides excellent amenities at a great price. Rooms are always clean, and the gambling is always fun!

We asked if we could get a little lower floor as we hate waiting for elevators and I'm on a walker. They said it wasn't a problem and would be of "equal space and value". It wasn't even close. It was run down, the carpet was so dirty we couldn't go barefoot, and it was a much smaller space with an open bathroom area. Even the bar areas were very dirty. We had to ask for a towel to clean around the machines to play. I will definitely rethink my choice for my trip next month.

Bar and casino are always “up to date” and top notch! Restaurants are great… rooms are well maintained, and Staff is always ready to answer any questions

I was however, NOT PLEASED to be charged a $45 hotel fee when checking out! This WAS NOT displayed in the FULL ROOM PRICE on Expedia! If it was stated in 'FINE' print it is very deceptive & deceiving!

The front desk staff were very rude to two disabled senior visitors... Waiting in front of me..long wait times for assistance..... Older people usually are your bread & butter.... They are your repeat customers OR NOT. I won't be coming back to patronize a place that treats its customers that way. My money will go elsewhere

My only complaint was the Bingo hall doesn’t have modern electronic playing machines. It’s only old fashioned paper cards.

Hotel was conveniently located near freeway. Plenty of options for shopping and restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful. Dinner at on-site restaurant was delicious. Pool was clean and plenty of lifeguards on watch.

Great hotel, food drink serving staff in “ something Fork” cafe , Rosalita bar and yard house. The only thing that was below average, was the cocktail waitresses checking on slot/ video poker players. I gambled at video poker and rarely had a cocktail waitress come by. At midnight they were better. But forget about the afternoon . I played 30-60 minutes then and never had 1 come by in the afternoon. The machines are not very “ winning “ machines either. Virgin river casino ( mesquite) is much better, and the pioneer & riverside , in Laughlin , is much better for winning at video poker. But it is a friendly staff at the bar , cafes , front desk .

The tv didnt work and no one never came to fix it. Also it was cild af in the room they need air cindition, the air blows righ in your face when trying to read and see how tonuse the air conditioning buttons frustrating so i juat turned it off. Was not a good customer services experience.

Large sports book lounge to watch games with amazing view from soft swivel chairs. Many choices for restaurants for variety from chain to fine dining a good mix. Pool area was spatious with multiple entrances to water from main door and chairs with padding for sitting or tanning.

There’s nothing I didn’t like. I didn’t use the amenities, like I’d hoped, everything else was perfect. One thing I didn’t like was there was no coffee or refrigerator in my disabled room

The walk from registration to the elevators was very long. If you have difficulty getting around you might have a problem, especially since the best door to use for this from the parking lot had stairs only.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner have great options and very reasonable prices. Great variety of games and activities for whole family

I liked the location and the beds were comfortable. The bathtub was soft and felt like I was going to fall through the floor. There was hair stuck on the shower wall when we got there. Cleaning wasn't great. Then we never got our room cleaned and we were there for 3 nights. There was no refrigerator to keep water cold. No attendant ever came to clean the room. We had to call down at 11:30 pm for towels to take a shower. The vending machines on 2 floors wasnt working so we had to get in and out of the elevator to find a working one. . Only 1 of 4 elevators were working so had to wait a very long time for one. The non smoking section of the casino was a joke. None of the good machines there. When we went in there, not one person was there because of that, I'm sure.

Absolutely loved the room except for the wonky WiFi. View was amazing. The pool area is nicely laid out and there's plenty of lounges for everyone. Dining options were excellent and reasonable. Better WiFi. Coffee service included rather than an extra $20. More food options in the vending machines - protein bars, chips &/or crackers.

Everything was good just the wifi was really poor. I paid for the faster speed but that also kept dropping out. Was a bit frustrating. Happy with everything else! If you can find a way to get your internet speed up I’ll happily return!

This is our second time staying here and we were happy with everything. Room was clean and had a nice view (thanks Expedia!), all the restaurants we ate at were very delicious, arcade was great for the kiddos and bowling was a lot of fun (although a bit expensive and kids are not discounted). Would definitely come back!

I was originally scheduled to check out on Monday morning, but I decided to leave a day early on Sunday night because I no longer felt comfortable staying. The bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. I woke up with significant neck and shoulder stiffness after just one night and even had to seek medical attention. That said, I do want to acknowledge the housekeeping team for maintaining a clean room, which I appreciated. The servers and cashiers at the pool area were also very friendly and welcoming, which was a bright spot during my stay. Overall, while there were a few positive aspects, my experience fell short due to the lack of hospitality at check-in and the discomfort of the accommodations.

Cost as much almost for “resort fee” as the room cost.

There is plenty to do at the hotel and in the surrounding area. Rooms are very quiet with good soundproofing (walls appear to be concrete vs wood). There was a safe in my room despite no mention of it on the website. Downsides: no microwave, no coffee items, and had to pay extra to have frig delivered and set up. Pool area is very nice. There are two concert stages in the pool area. On my last night they were setting up for a concert and the sound tests could be heard/felt up to the 20th floor even with superb room soundproofing. So, plan accordingly:).

Excellent food. Good service The hair dryer was not working. We called housekeeping and they said they would be right up to our room. 90 minutes later I check in again and they told us it would take awhile? Disappointed that I had to leave the hotel with wet hair.

Came here to sleep which was fine used the restaurant “the brass fork” it was pleasant with decent food. The resort fee is a rip off, place smells of smoke, rooms old. Beyond belief people actually come here.

I had a terrible experience so bad that I had to request a refund and go stay somewhere else within the first two hours of my visit. Upon arrival they were doing construction, which was not stated anywhere on their website. When I got my first room, they had a horrible smell of chemicals due to the construction so I requested a new room on a different floor.. within the second hour that smell started lingering into that second room and I had a scrambled around, begging for a refund because it’s unsafe to be breathing in chemicals that strong. Staff was a bit rude at first, and when you talk to them on the phone, they promise you special accommodations but when you arrive, they completely switch on what they said. We’ll definitely not be staying here again.

I want to say that the room was very outdated. The beds were so hard. My back actually hurts from sleeping in that bed. They said the pool would be open when I called to confirm reservation. The pool was closed when we arrived. They offered us to go to green valley station to visit the pool. Who wants to do that?! The pressure of the water was crazy and it would spill all over the restroom. The whole restroom would literally flood with water. The iron was so old and had white residue and damaged my dress. Really disappointed that there was no more buffet. The Casino looks remodeled but they definitely need to work on the rooms.

The room cleaning lacked attention to detail; specifically, there were objects and trash behind the furniture and beds. The in-room connectivity needs to be updated to include more USB and USB-C ports for mobile devices. The beverage vending machine was out of order. The swimming pool remained out of service for the entire week.

the pool was not working for our entire stay there. The bathroom is directly exposed to the room's door. So you become a fish in an aquarium when someone comes in/out. food across all restaurants was good and staff was fantastic at all time. The surroundings of the hotel are also super good, there's everything for longer stays.

On the other hand, Room 2021 had someone else's hair on supposedly fresh towels; shower pressure was a trickle and the drains in the shower and sink would cause pooling due to not draining properly. Staff at check-in (male] was friendly and accommodating. Support staff at Registration [females] later did not do what they claimed. We had requested upgrades for 2 rooms and the description she gave was not what we had in mind. She charged us for the upgrades. But when we went to see what the upgrades entailed, it was not what we wanted so we went back to Registration and requested to cancel the upgrades. We spoke with a female supervisor and she assured us the charges would be returned at the end of our stay. But when we checked out, we saw the charges had gone through and had not been refunded. When we checked out, the checkout clerk [female] was very apologetic and tried to fix the problem but we, unfortunately had to leave to catch our return home plane. She assured us she would clear it up with a supervisor. But to date, we have not received and update or refund.

Just passing through and needed a place to sleep and shower. It was great for that, and reasonably priced. The Oyster Bar’s étouffée was fantastic!

Had to buy an inflatable mattress at the Walmart across the street because the “king” bed was a queen at best. Not a scenario I was expecting as I was traveling with my son.

The room was dated and shabby. The bathroom was dirty, worn and dated. There was a portion of the stay when we couldn’t get any hot water and when we tried to call the front desk we found that the phone didn’t work.

Things that would have made it a 5: Comfortable pillows! The pillows are awful. Working drink, vending machines on every floor. Small in room fridge. Vacuum behind the night stands- it was gross!

This is the best place to stay in my opinion. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. Staff is great and the property is clean and well appointed with lots of greats activities and food options. One suggestion for the modern traveler is update the bedside lamps to ones with charging ports.

No fridge in unit. Temperature in room difficult to maintain constant. Always either hot or cold, not comfortable. Water temperature same. Takes forever for water to heat up. The shower head is not adjustable. Bed extremely hard. Only one actual pillow on a king bed. Casino "security" can be rude.

The staff was helpful and accommodating when we needed to make a last-minute change. Even though a suite with two beds wasn’t available, they offered a rolling bed to meet our needs.

They did give me a 10% off coupon for a drink but i wasn't there for vacation purposes. The room they gave me was atbthe very end of the hall from the Elevator even though they weren't remotely close to even half capacity. I was disappointed.

Poor service at the front desk. Booked two beds, got one, and then they had the nerve to charge me extra for an added bed! Very frustrated.

Nice and clean, fairly quiet inside the room, and the cafe for breakfast was great as well. I used the workout room once, it was well appointed (except I think a gym should always have a bathroom in it).

Room was mostly clean, could use a little updating. Bed felt like it had a waterproof mattress cover that was very heavy. Check in staff efficient and friendly. Lots of entertainment and food choices available without having to leave the property.

Room was spacious and clean. The staff were helpful and willing to assist. Great customer service must be commended. Just as a heads up there is some renovation taking place within the casino which affected some eateries and restroom availability. Not a major problem, just good to know before arrival. We have stayed at this hotel a few years ago and it is nice to see that the Station Casinos are maintaining their property. We will definitely return to this property again.

Room was basic, no refrigerator or coffee maker. Restaurants are very expensive but food was good. On the expensive side and resort fees are crazy considering there are no amenities, pool, outside recreation area, etc. Nor sure if i would stay again.

Rooms need updating. HVAC is loud, so update is needed. Elevator card system is not good for lower floors. It can be difficult to get your key inserted and the floor selected in time.

All they had for amenities was a small little gym area. The room ended costing me an extra $518 on top of my regular booking price that included resort fees that i wasn’t able to use since there were none. Also the resort charges for every night of $23 for cleaning . No cleaning happened at my room not once. The parking lot was under construction re servicing the entire time of stay going outside smelled like burning asphalt. Just not the greatest experience. I think I will pass on going there again ☹️

Having reserved a deluxe room, I was dismayed to find no coffee maker, no microwave, and no mini fridge. And here I thought those things were pretty standard in even way cheaper rooms elsewhere. That was disappointing.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel casino. It was very clean. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The dealers were pleasant. The air was clean and didn’t have a heavy smoke smell. The room was spacious. I would stay again.

Hotel didn't have reservation, hotel also said this had happened the same day to two other customer's. Expedia rep that assisted me was great. She talked to hotel to try to resolve issue with reservation. When they couldn't find reservation hotel rebooked me at a higher rate and expedia rep refunded me for the higher rate.

Sunset Station provided a wonderful stay for the week we were in Las Vegas. Our petite mini suite was clean and comfy. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Great restaurants and amenities under the roof and the parking lot security are top notch so I never worried about my vehicle while I was having fun! Keep up the good work. I will be back. (Only wish there was a shuttle to airport) : )

Nice hotel

Hot water is slow, with the first 5 minutes spent in cold to lukewarm water, before heating up. Finally, pillows are like bricks and mattresses are not great. It’s a shame because the hotel has some nice restaurants, a decent movie theater (although seats could recline a bit more), and good bars.

The room is pretty solid for Vegas. You get your money's worth.

They gave our room to someone else. So, we were in our room and someone else came in. They had everything all messed up. So then our key didn’t work. It was an ho eat mistake. The pillows are rock hard on the bed. The lounge chairs at the pool are terrible. They don’t move so you are stuck in a mostly down position. I tried to use one by the cabana but those are reserved for cabana people. There were like 8 of us at the pool. We thought about staying an extra night to enjoy the pool the next day but we are out or here after one night. Don’t get our VIP 20% off. They had our reservation so screwed up I don’t even think they knew who was checking in, despite us giving them a license. Not the best place in my opinion.

We stayed in a petite suite, room was beautiful. Lots of room for the kids. Staff was all very friendly and willing to assist. We had breakfast at night around 11:30 since we got in late. Mostly good food, biscuits and gravy were a bit on the bland side. Gravy definitely needed some more flavoring.

The check in experience was excellent! Very kind. I’ve always loved Sunset and can’t for the room updates!

Everything was excellent, the only drawback was that the room smelled like cigarettes.

We were victims of a crime and we were forced to rent rooms at the Sunset Hotel and Casino. The Hotel Manager was very rude to us when part of our group wanted to return home early due to the issue. Hotel refused to refund unused portion of trip. We paid for rooms where no one stayed.

The hotel was better than most casino hotels I have stayed at in Las Vegas. The wall power outlets in my room wouldn’t keep any of my two pronged chargers (the chargers kept falling out of the sockets). The TV remote also did not work for me. The Brass Fork, one of the restaurants in the resort, was incredible. I ate all of my meals here. The French toast was one of the best I have ever had. Service was also excellent every time I went. The staff also mentioned the hotel was being renovated, They just hadn’t gotten down to the floor I was staying on yet.

My only complaint was how uncomfortable the pillows were! Loved the casino..the bartenders were great! Restaurant choices were great! Beautiful pool!

Arrives 4pm, room was ready until 7:30pm and all i received was 20% of food. Girl at front desk was empathetic and apologetic but was also overwhelmed as she was the only person there with a long line.

The Hotel was nice and the staff friendly while the price was excellent given the current costs of similar properties in the area. The room was large and the beds comfortable. My one concern is that there was neither a coffee maker nor small refrigerator in the room. Apparently, upon check in you have to specifically request such, otherwise it requires a trip downstairs to Starbucks at considerable expense. Lastly, the room did not provide a convenient cell phone charger outlet, a minor issue, but reflective of the dated property. On a positive note, the restaurant selection is excellent and there is both a movie theater and bowling alley included among the resort amenities.

Stayed here while bringing the kids to visit their grandparents in Henderson. We normally stay on the Strip, but the homelessness, crime, and weed smell is getting out of control. Plus, most of the Strip hotels have lost their charm as they’ve lost a lot of their detailed theming that I remember from the 90s. This hotel had a lot of the beautiful theming that I remembered, my daughter was in awe at the beautiful ceiling and details on the interior. She also LOVED the Kids Quest and never wanted to leave. And it was nice to have a Target, Olive Garden, etc. right across the road, rather than homeless people dropping their pants in front of my kids (happened 2 years ago). The only issue I had was the pool is only open from 10-5. This is probably due to staffing shortages, but this meant every time we came back to the hotel after spending the day with grandma and grandpa, the pool was closed. My family was really disappointed that we never got the chance to use it.

The hotel itself was really nice. My only dislike was the place is really smoky. Even though the rooms were non smoking the hall area also smelled smoky.

Much slower pace than the strip or downtown. The casino floor had a good music mix, not as loud as the strip or downtown. Staff is courteous and pleasant. Food choices were good and reasonably priced. The rooms are clean, the bathrooms dated. We had a mini suite.The bathroom was big but dated, still had a tub shower combo with a curtain. Two vanities, two sinks and a separate toilet stall. Otherwise, very comfortable and quiet.

Nice hotel

My wife and I are locals and we stayed over for the first time at Sunset Station - a property we have been to many times over the years. On a Saturday night with concert outside the crowd getting checked in outside pretty much blocked access to the hotel elevators. However, the biggest issue was that we reserved a King Petite room and the room we were given was occupied - nobody was in there, but all of their belongings were in the room. So, we ended up having to go all the way back and get a new room that was fortunately quiet and had a semi-private wing. The room itself is fine, but I can you as someone 6'1 and 225 pounds good luck using the toilet. The toilet is literally for a child as it is small, old and very low to the ground. Honestly for an upgraded room which was larger than expected, the toilet is ridiculous. Outside of that, we had a great Italian dinner at pasta cucina. We appreciate the upgraded sports book and the new Yards.

Nice place just wasn’t happy about the parking I was towing a boat and was never told I had to park in a certain spot till the over achieving bike security left me a note to move or I was getting towed away moved 4 spots and was left alone first spot less cars so didn’t make since to me would stay there again nice front desk staff

I love that parking is included with stay some other hotel charges a daily fee even though your staying at their hotel. The service was wonderful everyone was helpful and polite. A great experience for my first time in Vegas

This was our 3rd time staying here. We like it because it's not on the strip and there are plenty of things to do inside the casino. There are also plenty of dining options in and around the casino.

TV situation was horrible. It says to use the browse bottom on the remote and there wasn’t a browse bottom on the remote. Inputted my fire stick, it worked fine but the volume stay at 100, called the front desk and they send someone only to tell me there’s nothing he could do because the tvs come programmed like that, something about it was a commercial TV (1st time hearing that BS). Other than that it was an ok stay

This was a nice place to stay for the money. The rooms are a bit dated, but upkeep was pretty good. The pool is nice but if you want to hang there be prepared to spend some $. There are few places to even sit where they don't charge you. The days of free lounge chairs in Vegas are long gone evidently. Staff was very friendly and facilities are good.
