    Bathroom baseboard was just leaning against wall not glued. Multiple bugs in room for both days. Driveway was so pitted that driving in and out of parking lot was treacherous.

    pet friendly online , on the second day we were charged 25$ for our pet. we never saw a charge for a pet on the reservation , office personnal was rude about it , locked us out of room until we came to pay. room heater would not cycle

    The lobby was closed due to COVID, and I had to wait about 20 minutes outside in the cold to get checked in which wasn’t exactly pleasant. Other than that this stay was fabulous.

    Always clean and the staff is always there to help if you need anything. Where we always stay when we go to S.C to Wendells. Plus hotel has plenty of restaurants near by and shopping but the mall in S.C is less than 30 min away as well.

    I stay for a couple of nights every year while visiting friends and I am always amazed at the service. Its a clean, quiet budget motel but the service is what blows me away every time. You will feel like you are with family when you stay here. Im a grumpy old man and I complain alot but Im telling you that you wont regret staying here. I travel alot and stay in a varity of hotels from 4 star to 2 star and this is the only place that has ever called me within 10 min of entering my room to make sure everything was okay. Last year I rode in on my Harley and was greated with a cold bottle of water. The man at the front desk saw that I was hot, thirsty and gave me one of his waters from his own personal refrigerator. When in that area, I will never stay anywhere else and its because of the service.

    We were pleasantly surprised to see that the motel has been very nicely updated since our last visit several years ago. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the motel and rooms were pleasingly clean and quiet. We enjoyed our stay!

    I stayed there because it was reasonable. I was attending a Clemson football game and hotels in Clemson are pretty limited. It was just fine. A lot of bass fishermen staying there for a local tournament but parking was fine despite the boat trailers they brought.

    The bars around the tub and toilet were ok however, there was no way my husband could step over into the tub. It needed to be a shower. The breakfast was good. The bed was fine. The door key was very hard to use.

    Staff was friendly and helped us change a room with broken A/C to a nicer room (more updated) but the second room had non-functioning electrical plugs in the vanity area and dead/dying bugs in the room. The housekeeping staff seems to go a good job cleaning and the bed/sheets were nice and clean but the overall hotel needs a lot of maintenance and bug control!

    I have two children attending Clemson University, one is a freshman. I chose the Jameson Inn for its location. I was very pleased with the staff, cleanliness, restaurant and everything else at the Inn. I not only would and will stay again but would recommend this place to anyone.

    Hotel claimed I did not have an Expedia reservation. I showed the clerk my reservation confirmation and they said it was not "in their system and that happens a lot with Expedia". I've never had a problem with Expedia prior to this. Hotel charged $15 more than Expedia rate. Told us we had a non-smoking room. It wasn't- smelled like an ash tray.

    For the price, you can't beat it. Stayed there for a quick trip to pick up my son from college and drive him home. The breakfast was fine and saved us from spending more money.

    I booked this hotel specially because they advertised an indoor pool. When I arrived there was no indoor pool and they simply said Expedia would say anything to book a room. Expedia has been very good about my disappointing experience where the hotel has not!

    This is a worn down hotel. If you have no other option (which, in this area, there aren't many), then it's an ok choice. Nothing looks as if it's been updated in the past 20 years, but I didn't encounter anything so repulsive as to make me not want to sleep there at all. I only had to stay one night and I'm glad for that!

    The personnel were excellent, but the facility needs up keeping. All of my friend and i are tournament anglers and booked the hotel because it was near the ramp. Unfortunately there was no enough parking or electrical outlets for everyone. The staff did all they could to assist, but they cant build a parking lot.

    The staff were nice. I was given a smoking room, which was fine, but the blankets had burns in them. The trash hadn't been emptied. The towels were in the middle of the bathroom floor. The toilet paper was half used and ran out halfway through my two night stay. I had to purchase my own toilet paper. I didn't wear shoes in the room and after taking a shower noticed that my feet were nasty. I didn't leave the room, so it had to be nasty carpet. I didn't get new towels. I was also charged extra tax. Even though Expedia said the price was tax included. The breakfast was nothing but sweets. I wasn't expecting much from the breakfast though. The pool was small, but it is good for kids. The toilet tank leaked somewhat ( not on the floor ) and would fill up multiple times through the night. The air conditioner worked extremely well. This is a definite motel and not an "INN". The pictures are misleading. If you need a place to crash, it is fine. Don't expect much though.

    Stayed 2 nights. Room was clean and did not have any type of odor. The pool is a little small, but nice. There is a workout room (we did not use) and the lobby area was very clean and well presented. We would stay here again.

    The breakfast area of the hotel could use some improvement with more varitey and/or selection of food to eat. The entrance to the inn was well off the road behind some other small businesses. These businesses obscured your view of the inn from the road. The road to the inn was full of large pot holes which made it a single lane road entrance. The road is in need of serious repair. You had to look real carefully to see the Jameson sign from the road. Typical Jameson Inns usually have a white column overhead entrance to the inn. This particular inn did not have this making it hard to find.

    Housekeeping was AWFUL! We left the room Saturday morning at 7:30 a.m. for a 65-mile bike ride and was really looking forward to a nice hot shower with clean towels upon our return to the room. When we returned to the room at 2:00 p.m., nothing had been done to our room - only our dirty towels had been picked up. No clean towels were left in the room so my brother-in-law had to go downstairs to the housekeeper who was sitting on her butt smoking a cigarette to ask for some clean towels for our room. That hotel is NOT that big and surely our room should have been cleaned, beds made and new towels placed in our room WAY before we returned at 2 p.m. Other than that, the hotel was sufficient for what we needed that weekend. It was convenient, served a pretty decent breakfast and was in our price range.
