At check-in, Holly was patient and helpful in correcting a mistake I had made. She knew area and offered suggestions.

I love the layout of the room. The added ottomabs, the extra hooks in the bathroom, the size of tge tub amd tge water pressire ( great adjustable shower head) tons pf vanity space. So many usb and outlets fir everyone. Breakfast was above average. Staff above average bend over backwards so accomodating and super friendly. We were tgere fir a funeral in Hartwell and burial in Athens and tgey just made everything go smoothly and it jist helped. I have no complaints. No suggestions. I would come back again and again anytime I'm near the area.

This Hampton is close to Hartwell Lake, shopping area with restaurants, & downtown Hartwell. Friendly, helpful staff. Amenities include in-room coffee, fridge, couch seating area, full breakfast in the morning, swimming pool and easy parking.

Mrs. Bernice was excellent: kind, attentive, pleasant, and hard-working. She helped us at the front desk with check in and check out, recommended a wonderful local restaurant, and even prepared the breakfast buffet since another employer had time off. She deserves some flowers and recognition!

Thw reason I gave the crappy rating is because the towels were grayishand not bright white like we've all come to expect at hotels. The lady that worked the evening to night shift seemed annoyed when we arrived and unfortunately set the tone. I was so in disbelief about the towels I had to ask for more but by this time the overnight person was there and yup you guessed it, he was also annoyed. I guess something was broken cause he mentioned something about something but anyway when I told him the see he literally blank stared me for a sec. He did give them to me though. The morning person and the person in the breakfast are pretty much made up for it since they were soooooo pleasant. My daughter had such a good time with the lady in the breakfast area and it really set the tone for the rest of the day. THANK YOU! I wrote this review because Stevie could have seen those towels should have been removed from service but they weren't and they had the nerve to be annoyed with me. Do better Hampton.

When we arrived there was a dog in the lobby. I said to the attendant, I didn’t know dogs was allowed to stay in the rooms. She looked at me and said dogs are everywhere!! My wife told her we didn’t have dogs in our house. The attendant said she had us a room on ground floor. When we walked in the room it smelled like a wet dog!! AWFUL!! I figured we had upset the attendant and she put us in a well used room for big dogs. My wife said let’s just make the best of it, she went to take a shower and all we had was Luke warm water, NO HOT WATER!!! For what Hampton Inn charges for their rooms, there should be hot water and a choice to stay with dogs or Not! We will be looking elsewhere on our next trip!!!

It was quite, clean and on point.It was a quick stop so can't say a lot. We got the rest we needed. I drink coffee strong but the light blend almost curled my toes. May want to cut back.

Room clean. Staff very couteous and easily changed our room when we could not get the heater to work. Had to request additional towels in the room.

There was no hot breakfast and no maid service. We had to take out our own trash and no body came in the whole time to make up beds vacuum and we had to get our own clean towels. Also the sign said that breakfast was served until 10and I went down about 9:15 and they said they were sorry they were short staff and would not be able to serve me after 9am so all 4 days we had to spend money to get us something to eat Cindy carpenter

Hotel was out of tons of essential items. Water, creamer, oatmeal, etc. GYM CLOSED. Clearly management does not care as we were there for 3 days and it was not replenished and gym never opened.

There was absolutely no hot water in the room from the sink to the shower. I let them know and still nothing and in fact I tried talking to them and they have ignored me. I have contacted them in person, text and email.

Overall, stay was good. Was disappointed at the mildew in the corners of our shower. Overall, staff was extremely friendly. One concern we did have however was it seemed the breakfast area was pretty pushy for tips. She kept reminding us that there was a tip jar.

Clean and well-run. Friendly staff. The fitness room was closed when I was here. Convenient to Hartwell town, just down the street.

A little underwhelming experience as far as previous experiences with other Hampton Inns. Beds not as comfortable. Room HVAC noisy. Nice updates visible but has a ways to go to compare with other Hampton Inn especially considering price for a small town in Northern Georgia

Everything was great. Except breakfast. For hot food we had sausage gravy and biscuits but had run out of biscuits and hadn’t made more at 9:15 am. Only other food was scrambled eggs. Was disappointed. While we were there several families with kids came in.

The manager and staff were very accommodating and helpful place was clean and there were plenty of stores around in case we needed anything definitely recommend.

What a great property, everything was perfect. Manager Bernice was friendly and helpful and breakfast was wonderful with lots of options. Not many hotel options in this area but this one would be top rated anywhere!

I liked the location-right across from an Aldi’s grocery and very close to a Starbucks (I use Ingles grocery). The room and lobby were nice. Breakfast was good. Gym on the second floor-we didn’t workout but used the water station to refill our water bottle. The only complaint is the pool is very small and we were not aware that it was closed. The front desk told us it needed to be cleared by the health department. I wish we could have used the pool.

It was Memorial Day weekend and the pool was not ready, since there was at least one turtle living in it, I had no expectations that it was going to be ready. It was very green and nasty. The bathroom needed a deep clean. It just wasn’t as nice as it once was. It’s overpriced by Hartwell standards, but the only hotel in town that isn’t sketchy.

Overall we had a good stay. The room and lobby was very clean, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was pretty good. Only one small issue was our bathroom toilet ran and ran which was kind of annoying but otherwise all good.

I’ve stayed here multiple times now and the staff is always friendly, hotel is clean, it’s quiet and overall just a good experience.

What I did not like was that there were people being so very loud, fighting, they must have been tearing their room apart and this went on for over 2 hours. I know its not the fault of the hotel but something should have been done before it went on that long. But overall again, great stay and will definitely stay here again. Thank you.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff could have been friendlier, particularly the lady at checkout. She had an attitude problem.

We love Hampton! It is our always our top choice no matter where we go. The staff is great. The rooms are clean. Check in and out is smooth and personable.

We had a wonderful stay but we would have rather had a regular bathroom door instead of a barn door. It was a very attractive feature but not a very comfortable one when the light was on in the middle of the night. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and professional.

Hotel was very clean and nice. Our room was very clean and spacious. We had a king size bed. It was not too comfortable along with pillows that were too thin. The breakfast was good but the breakfast area was a little small. Would consider staying there again but I would definitely bring my own pillows.

Walking distance to stores

Expedia advertised the room would sleep 5 and it did not. Luckily, the staff was able to switch our room to one that did. They have boat parking and a place to plug-in boats which is what we needed. The vent in the bathroom was full of dust and there were some gross stains on the sofa bed mattress, but other than that the place was nice. They had a great breakfast too!

Not walking distance to much except a bar and grill. Kind of desolate. But a drive to the town center is close.

We were in town to attend a funeral and had to bring our fur babies with us. The staff was exceptional and so nice to our fur babies. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I would recommend this hotel 100%.

The hotel staff were GREAT! Very personable and friendly. We had a issue with our toilet being clogged. The hotel provided us with a plunger and it solved our problem but while at the pool, maintenance came and told us that he's going to check on it to make sure there were no more issues. The complimentary food was good and HOT. The rooms were clean and updated. Me and my family will definitely stay again.

The staff was very accommodating everyone was welcoming and extremely nice. What I didn’t like was the room I was in absolutely no understanding it had a pullout couch in the back room and a tv in it it looked like something was missing. I couldn’t figure it out. I don’t think it was worth the price of what it cost. They didn’t have extra sheets and the couches were dirty. Not my typical 5 star hotel. Outside of the staff being pleasant the hotel needs more amenities. I was definitely fooled by the pictures.

The hotel was clean. The staff was great. The breakfast was good. I felt the price was high for the lack of Amenities no water in pool , no hot tub, the room only having a shower not a shower tub combo, basic cable and for the area it was in.

The best thing about this location was Ashton at the front desk. A very polite and welcoming individual! The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast the next morning was your typical hotel breakfast fair, nothing more or less. Perfect location for the place we were visiting (Tugaloo State Park) and we should stay again.

Everything a hotel should be with one exception. TV and internet was out of service 30 min. after our arrival and did not come back on before we left the next day. Understanding that things like this happen unexpectedly, the staff never offered a discount or other comp was a little disappointing.

At breakfast, a lady served us Meat, eggs and pancakes. That's what we had but there were many other options even bag breakfast for those on the go. Only negative was the refrigerator in the room never cooled. The rear of it had frost on it but nothing stayed cold, it was just like leaving everything on the counter the whole stay.

All of the staff were extremely hospitable. Great full hot breakfast spread with options for everyone. Complimentary snacks and beverages. Very clean and hygienic. They take extra cleaning and sanitary precautions due to COVID-19. In a great area with shops and restaurants within walking distance. I would recommend this hotel to anyone stopping through or looking for a quiet vacation spot.

The staff was friendlyish aside from the front desk clerk’s side comment on my attire. I drive in comfort, usually every day sweats/leisure and her immediate greeting was to ask if I was going to work out?!? Initially I thought she was referring to me needing to workout which I thought was hilarious coming from her and I’m assuming she read my face and cleared up her statement was referring to my attire. Still rude especially looking at her attire but I won’t go there. My stay was during the COVID pandemic and staff did wear mask and there were signs all over the room that it had been disinfected with Lysol products but this was only mildly comforting after seeing how unclean the shower was. Thankfully I travel with my own disinfectant. Next time I’ll just stay at the Quality Inn around the corner. Half the price but about the same level of cleanliness. I will say the bed slept comfortably which was probably the big plus here.

We were very pleased with everything from checkin to breakfast to checkout to how easy the whole experience was. Your employees rock. (Sorry, i did not get names) The breakfast was very delicious. We will most likely stay again in the future as our friends recently moved to Lake Hartwell.

This is by far the best hotel in Hartwell. Price is decent but the inside looks great. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The hotel is right in the middle of all of the shopping for the town so you can easily get to anything you might need.

The room is very nice. The sheets and comforter were comfortable and it felt very clean. We had 2 adults and 2 kids and given 2 bath towels. For 2 nights we had to keep hunting down towels! But the staff was very nice. We did not have breakfast because it was not very good. They would do better to just have a better choice of fruit and cereals. We did not use pool because we have a pool at home and we did not have time but it looked nice and clean. Great location for our needs and we felt very safe. We would definitely go back.
