Only stayed for a night. Hotel was quiet and convenient.

Very convenient, clean, quiet hotel. Nice outdoor pool area. Breakfast buffet and 24/7 coffee were very helpful. Good staff. Only problem was I couldn't get on WiFi at all.

Hotel felt like it could do with a really good clean, surfaces in common areas around elevator and floor in room were not that clean

The hotel was near everything one would need (i.e. food, shopping, near James Madison University). The room was clean. The beds and rooms were extremely small. We had four adults stay in the room and it was tight. Bathroom REALLY small. The breakfast could have been better in comparison to other Quality Inns.

About what you would expect for the money. Some people live in this motel, so they are sitting outside in their lounge chairs like it’s their back deck. For the price and for one night, it was fine. No trouble at all. Very convenient to lots of shopping and restaurants and the interstate

The location and the bed was comfortable . The Hamilton beach pod coffee maker was broken and unplugged and wrapped up on the table. There were stains running down the bathroom wall that looked like coke or pepsi and was left there for long time. Tiny bathroom and overall needed some touchup paint on the chipped doors. But overall fair deal for a fair hotel.

Hotel was just ok. Kind of dated. Bathroom smelled like “sour” shower curtain. Breakfast was your average eggs, sausage discs, toast, yogurt. I think there were also 2 cereals- fruit loops and corn flakes. There was coffee but no tea bags. I guess it was decent for the price Bed was comfortable and staff was very friendly.

Should be called the Lowest Quality Inn. No maid service unless they do it at 9:30 am, after that they are too busy according to the manager. The chair in our room was ripped/ falling apart. One of the towels was brown on one side. Disgusting

Quality Inn Harrisonburg is my go to hotel when visiting my student at JMU. The hotel is conveniently located near restaurants and shopping. The staff has always been very helpful and my room has been clean. Continental breakfast is available and there is a good selection. I will continue to stay at this hotel for my future visits.

Comfortable beds and super clean room. I’ve stayed her 4 times and have had a good experience each time. Staff very friendly. Breakfast runs a little later than normal hotels so a nice bonus. Always a nice breakfast. 2 kinds of waffles and Coffee is good here. Last trip I checked in middle of night. It took 3-5 min. Perfect.

Room in general was very clean, as is whole hotel. ONLY issues- air conditioner filter very dirty. I always check due to respiratory issues. It's a washable micromesh filter, just needs rinsed off every month. This one had literal clumps of lint and dust on it. Not good for customers, and poor maintenance also affects how well the unit runs. Makes it inefficient. The other issue is a long-standing one with key cards not always working. It's not uncommon to have to get card replaced or need help getting in the room. The last time I stayed there the family across the hall and I were both standing out in the hall unable to get into our rooms. In general the hotel is nice and comfortable, very clean, staff is great. Nice breakfast with good options including bagels, toast, waffles, cereal and oatmeal, egg patties, sausage patties, yogurt, and juices. I might be missing some things, too. Air filter and key cards are the only issues: fix that and they're golden.

Hotel stay was nice. In a great location and perfect for our stay. We didn’t have an opportunity to try the breakfast and it was too cold for the pool. Some minor maintenance needed like painting etc. Nothing major. The main reason I didn’t give a higher star was simply because the beds were awful. They were hard. And a glorified twin!! It’s generous calling them a queen!!My husband and I hung off the edges! The room was small too over all.

Our room was right next to elevator and check in area. So noisy all night, staff smoked right outside front door and we smelled cigarettes all night. Furniture was ratty and bathroom was not clean. Bed comfortable enough but our night was not good. We had to leave by 6 am so we missed the breakfast because it didn’t start until 7. Price was low but would’ve been worth it to stay elsewhere for a bit more money. We were just trying to cut out 12 hour trip in half.

Initially when I called the hotel inquiring about availability, the clerk said we could check out at 1230. When I checked in, the clerk on duty said she had no authority for a late check-out, this caused me some problems. In the morning, the clerk on duty allowed me to check out at 1200. Breakfast was not so good, if you want a hot breakfast. The eggs were frozen egg patties and then heated. I was expecting scrambled eggs. There was gravy, but no biscuits. If you just wanted a cold breakfast, then everything was fine.

the breakfast was hot, not continental so that's a plus. there was egg, sausage and biscuit. there was coffee, or at least liquid that was brown and looked like coffee. it vaguely smelled like coffee the food was tasteless. the egg, sausage and biscuit had no flavor. the coffee was probably the worst coffee i've ever had. it was absolutely tasteless. the shower in the room (#123) did not get hot. it got warm, but never got hot. that's not a good way to start the day

Wendy was working at the front desk on march 4th at 11:00 pm when we spoke with her. Very discriminating. Told us that they didn’t accept our kind there. Would never come back. Made my boyfriend and I very uncomfortable. She needs to be removed from customer service.

It was great when we got there but when we came back from dinner there were about 4 firetrucks outside the hotel. There had been a drier fire and everything was fine except that the smell was horrible. We had to block the bottom of our room door with towels to try to stop the smell from coming into the room. And of course we had to only use the stairs that night and even the next morning when we checked out. The smell from the smoke from the fire and the breakfast was not offered until 7am. What happened to 6am breakfasts at hotels. This is the second hotel that has happened at where you really paid for that breakfast but couldn't use it since it was so late for us in the morning.

The beds were not as big as advertised. I ended up sleeping on the floor because how small the beds were. The beds were advertised as queen sized but ended up being a full size bed making it impossible to share. The hotel is very noisy, I can hear water running from the room on top of mine.

We booked a room with double beds and were given a room with only one bed. Then, in the middle of the night we woke up to someone opening our door with a key, but not being able to get in because the privacy latch was flipped. We were able to see a suitcase through the crack in the door, so they must have given the room to another guest even though we were already in it.

There was a small leak in the bathroom. Another room was thoughtfully arranged. The room was exceedingly hot when we entered. The door to 232 had difficulty opening and closing. I imagine that the excessive heat affected the door. Otherwise it was an excellent stay. We would return!

Staff was courteous. But the breakfast was lacking. The apples were small and rotten and nothing to drink because the juice machine was out.

The bed sags and is very hard. The breakfast area has all sorts of broken things like the Juice machine, half the toaster, there is no water only coffee. The nearest drinking fountain has a sign that says out of order. The little things say everything about this place.

We were charged twice for the room and are attempting to deal with Expedia about this issue. Held it on one credit card and then paid with another but both were charged!

The first room we were assigned to on the third floor the toilet was clogged/not draining properly. No one was available to fix it. We were transferred to another room on the first floor, Rm.#129 - although the bedding - linen, bedspread were fresh and clean- the bed headboard, the loveseat looked tired and had stains on the cushion. The room just needs to be refreshed (walls painted, flooring deep cleaned?) to appear more welcoming and bright. The location of this hotel is perfect for travelers-easy to find, restaurants and stores nearby. This is why we have stayed here about 5 times in the past 3 years when we travel from S.C. where we live and to visit family in N.J. It looked so much cleaner and brighter before. Also, breakfast was not as good probably due to the fact we were there two days after Christmas. Kitchen was not fully staffed. No protein ( no sausage like usual) butter and milk was not available. All the above can easily be fixed. We would like to continue to stay here next time we travel and hope that things are back to what it used to be.

One of the worst hotel and room I have ever experienced. The bed had dark curly hair in it as if the sheets had not been cleaned. The room was supplied with 2 towels only. The floor, rugged, was dirty and the noise from the other rooms was horrendous. You could hear cell phones ringing, flushing toilets and showers running. While the staff was OK the hotel itself is a 1 star at best. You get what you pay for

The room was clean except for the bathroom that needed more cleaning. The breakfast was good and fresh with unlimited coffee and tea. The overall building was clean inside and out with beautiful Christmas decorations.

The following morning my husband was draining the cooler in the back and Robert saw him and insisted on helping. We were on our way to NY from Georgia. Because of great team atmosphere, clean quite place we stayed there again on our way back home. Great clean comfortable place with all types of eateries near by Thank you all for a great stay.

Pleasant experience. Young lady who checked us in did just that…no mention of breakfast where our room was…just checked us in. The room was nice and clean. The hallway near the elevator on the first floor had some spilled coffee or something and it was there when we checked in and when we left. The check out clerk was super nice! Not the hotel’s fault, but at 3:45am a loud bunch came through and were in the hallway being loud for like 20 mins.

Do not hike the prices if you are below 3 stars. This hotel seemed like it was made of plastic and the room was just small. In addition to that they hiked the prices because it was homecoming which I understand but it was not worth what they hiked it to.

My room was super quiet from late afternoon until about 10:00 when a new person and children came into the room beside me. For 2 hours they were loud, banging and children yelling keeping me awake. I called the desk the staff called and asked them to stop making so much noise since it was after midnight. It continued for another half hour. So they gave me another room. But I had a pack of my own things and moved there. Just as I said settled in my new room, my new neighbor's came and they were drunk. I finally got to sleep around 3:00. Staff was very apologetic but it still was not a most pleasant night's sleep. Even though this is an older Hotel, it's well maintained. And the staff is very helpful.

Older hotel that needs some updating. Great fall decor outside and nicely decorated inside as well. Room rug was shabby.

Checked in late due to traffic, paid for room with 2 beds (4 people) and was given a king bed. Was told they were full and that it was our fault for using Expedia because they overbooked. Had to move furniture and rearrange room at 10:30 pm to try and get 2 rollaway beds in our room with no room to walk around. Not enough towels. Had to leave luggage in car because there was no room. No offers to give partial refund at THIER mistake. Anytime we have travelled and mistake was make, partial refund or upgrade has been given. I should have to pay for someone’s mistake nor move furniture in my hotel room so my children can sleep. Morning staff said that wasn’t the case, someone else was given our room and the night staff lied. Don’t stay here. They could care less. Chairs were dirty in lobby and Christmas decor is still out.

Wendy at the front desk was so friendly! I enjoyed chatting with her. The room was basic, and very clean-nothing fancy.

Dirty room, but Robert at the front desk was absolutely fantastic. The room obviously was not thoroughly cleaned from the previous guest because there was dirt and medication on the floor. Lamp shade and bathroom floor were filthy.

Just ok

Room was clean. The stay was great. Safe area, easy access to everything. The bathroom was clean, but some areas of bathroom were starting to show a lot of wear. It did not affect our stay in any way. But it was noticeable & to some, it would present an issue.

This has become our go-to hotel when traveling to Harrisonburg.

Staff was amazing easy parking restaurants in walking distance

Night and morning desk staff were both super nice. Room and hotel have recently been refreshed. Sheets and bathroom spotless. A+ across the board especially for $85 a night

Left the room to stay out side because while I check-in the room was not cleaned the cleaner is around the room And I told for cleaners I left my staff in room I will back when you finish but when I back late night I loss my and my wife jigama and coffee holder and some staff I claim for front desk he try to protect the cleaner she did know there is language barrier that she get your staff from room it also I lost some staffs too at morning I claim again after that they found some where else and finally they give back my staff but I feel shame to their administration because in morning I contact the manger he responded for me same as his worker say to me Totally I I feel Shem with them

The rooms are wonderful, updating, clean and the bed is amazingly comfortable. It's quiet which for a College town is surprising. The issue I had with this stay was the check in experience. The person checking me in had absolutely no customer service skills. This person obviously is in the wrong position - something that is NOT customer facing. Thankfully the person at the front desk at check out was wonderful & super personable - that is how it should be done. Maybe some mentoring would be in order. Also, maintenance needs to fix the front door lights - they were strobing. .

This was a quick stay in Harrisonburg, but very pleasant. The staff was so friendly. Some toiletries were missing. Otherwise, there were no issues.

Saw bugs on bed and had to leave and go to a different hotel

Was all good, but the pool area was out of action. It had not been cleaned for a while and we was hoping to use the pool as it was an advertised feature.

I was really disappointed that they were out of eggs for breakfast. The rug in my room felt gross. The soap dispenser didn't work. The air conditioning unit was very noisy.

Great location and good street appeal

The price was right. A lot of restaurants within walking distance. Room was dated. Dark hallway, lock in bathroom didn’t work. TV didn’t have streaming capability. Bed was pretty comfortable. Room was quiet. Haven’t had breakfast, yet.

All accommodations during my stay were outstanding. Front desk was always very friendly and professional, answering all my questions promptly and thoroughly. My hotel room was always clean and comfortable, and whenever I requested fresh towels, they were happy to do so. They even provided a complimentary bottle of water upon request too, which I thought was really cool especially during these hot summer months. When I requested for where to do my laundry, the front desk kindly referred me to a nearby site to take care of that, which was incredibly helpful. Overall, great stay for me as I was there for a 3-day conference at JMU. Thank you very much!

The only complaint was the shower curtain did not adequately keep the shower water in the shower and some of it sprayed out onto the bathroom floor.

The gym was decent but machine was out dated. Cables coming loose and hard to adjust. Pool looked green but my kids enjoyed it.

Comfortable and inexpensive. Room was a little smaller than preferred and the bathroom was pretty cramped but all in all good.

Nice for a one night stop over

The gal at the front desk Wendy was very nice at check in. We went to our room and got things unpacked tried to turn on the tv but it wouldn’t come on so I told Wendy and she was very apologetic and gave us a new room and said how sorry she was that we had to pack everything back up. We moved into the other room and all was good. The room wasn’t real big but was very nice it had a stuffed chair and a desk w/a chair bed and pillows were comfortable. We were very comfortable. The breakfast wasn’t especially good no eggs I’ve never been to a hotel where the breakfast bar didn’t serve eggs so a little disappointed in that. Other than that we were very happy.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Parking was easy and the location was close to everything that we had planned. I would stay here again.

This hotel served our needs well on a business trip to Harrisonburg. We enjoyed the variety served at breakfast.

They did not service room the entire stay. We asked for service but they responded they were booked and would not be able to do it. They never cleaned pool, dirty when we arrived and dirty when we left

Room was ok. Garbage left in the room. Floors are dirty. Addressed with the front desk. Rooms need a remodel.

Wendy, at the front desk, was awesome! She checked me in quickly, was very friendly & sweet! The area around the hotel was beautiful, with close shopping & a great Texas Roadhouse right across the street. Great food & drinks! Definitely recommend this hotel

Overall, a good stay. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional.The room was updated and the bed was pretty comfortable. Breakfast was good on the first day, but I was a little disappointed with the breakfast on the second day. All in all a good value for the price

There were ants all over our bedroom including the beds. There was also a spider in one of the beds. In the bathroom their was water in the floor and pubic hair. The comforters had stains. Will not stay here again.

Beds could be bigger

This s a good & reliable & clean hotel for an overnight stay one a long trip. Staff was friendly and the included breakfast was sufficient. Location is very convenient to the interstate and to many restaurants. We will use it again.

The hotel looks good from the outside, but the inside needs updating - filthy carpet on baseboards, suitcase carts falling apart, etc. Also, our toilet was not working so, after several calls to the front desk and finally hunting down the night clerk, we were handed a plunger to fix it ourselves. We were told by her, and again by the day clerk, that they do not have a repair person on call at night and that they, the clerks, do not repair toilets.

Had no working toilet in my room. The toilet overflowed the first time flushed. Had to use the restroom in the lobby every time. Received no apology or reimbursement of any kind. They just said they'd make a note of it.

Very friendly and helpful staff and comfortable beds and pillows.
