Old property showing its age. My “suite” had water damaged walls in the bathroom and dirty carpet. Payed more for a suite, which had nothing extra except a fold up loveseat jammed into a corner. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast had heated food, which was okay. Bed was comfortable but just a couple of feet from the HVAC unit, which interfered with my sleep. I would seek an alternative if I were staying in the area again.

Room felt crowded and old in style. Bathtub was cracked and the beds were awful. We could feel the springs from the mattress. The hot tub was colder than bath water and the entire pool area felt unsafe. The doors were rusty inside the pool area, no poll towels and the smell as you entered the front door to the lobby smelled like dead fish. I heard another guest tell the front desk it smelled bad in the entrance where the luggage carts were at like a wet dog. The entrance to the motel is not well marked it sits behind a gas station/convenience store and the parking was limited. Would not stay here again

The other guests in this hotel were disrespectful of other guests. They did not follow quiet hours, slamming, banging, screaming, loud laughter until approximately 3:45am.

Bathroom could use an update. Staff was very nice and tried to be helpful.

Gym/Pool/Hot Tub was all not in service and nothing was mentioned when booking! After speaking with Manager situation was taken care of.

Indoor pool was closed. Room was dirty. Shower looked like it was growing mold in the corners. Shower head had no pressure. Not enough towels in the room for my family. Pull out couch was disgusting and probably never vaccumed.

Go down the road to the other Holiday inn about 15min.

Love this hotel! This is our pit stop when heading to Florida from Ohio every year. Always clean, staff is so friendly and it's located right off of I-95.

I reserved 4 rooms for 8 of us traveling together. The hotel had a good review on Expedia. When we arrived there was no one at the front desk and another guest informed us the elevator was not operating. After several minutes the clerk came out and said she did not have 4 rooms on the ground floor, so someone would have to climb the stairs with their luggage. As a group of senior citizens, this was ridiculous. Because we had to prepay, we had no option but to stay. Would not choose this hotel again.

The worst Holiday Inn Express I have ever stayed in. We were in room 224, and while it was freezing outside, our heater did not work. Set it to 72, it blew cold air all night. The elevator is broken and slams into the ground when going down. Breakfast: the juice machine was broken, so no juice. How it got such a high rating, I don't understand. The last Holiday Inn Express we stayed in was great...not this one.

The breakfast was not edible in the hotel was super nasty There was mold in the tub. Everything was dusty in the hotels cleanliness was an all time failure.

The parking lot is not setup well for numerous large trucks/campers, no roundabout to turn. Our room had a 1-2” gap between the next room so we heard the people next to us as if they were in the same room. Needs cleaning under/behind bed frames.

We have stayed in many hotels in this area but this may be our new go-to. We were very comfortable. Staff was super friendly, our toddler loved the indoor pool, and was pet friendly. There was a wonderful young man taking care of the breakfast buffet and he was so friendly and helpful really made our morning even better. The food was also better than most other continental breakfast we’ve had.

Staff was super curious. I was disappointed in the gym and the pool. The gym has three machines (including a treadmill that is missing a safety key so it didn't work) and no free weights and the TVs weren't working. The pool was fine, but small except there were no clean towels on both days we went down to swim.

The people checking in we were very nice women! Professional and funny they made me feel welcome. Price was very good. Room was good. A lot of options at breakfast. And the person taking care of that breakfast was very professional.

The only issue was the TV guide, which was extremely limited.

The first room assigned to us was not cleaned. We than waited 10 minutes for someone to come to the desk so we could get a different room. New room was clean and bed was comfortable but I will probably not go back due to the attitude of the front desk person.

Hallway looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned in a week. The filters and vent in a/c unit were totally clogged with dust and debris. The room just felt dirty and old. If any hotel needed a remodel, it is this one. Not worth the price or the 3 star rating.

The bed was comfortable but the room was too hot for me. Thermostat adjustment did nothing to cool the room down. The shower had no water pressure so getting soap lather off your skin was frustrating.

The hotel is way beyond its prime. It needs serious updating/renovation. The area of this hotel is sparse on restaurants. The few we could find were closed. I would not recommend this hotel.

The hotel itself was fabulous. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and everything looked to be new or newly renovated. The only issue is it shares a parking lot with a gas station and convenience store and parking that is for the hotel itself is extremely limited. It you are not there early (before 7pm) to snag a spot, you need to park near/at the convenience store which doesn’t feel the safest to leave your vehicle overnight.

We travel to Florida for the holidays from NC and try to break up the trip so that the kids and parents get breaks :). This hotel was a great one night stay on the way with a free breakfast, clean spacious room, and inside heated pool! Really great stay!

The parking area was taken over by mostly work trucks, with multiple people outside smoking cigarettes. By the front door 3 guys were sitting on a bench and appeared to be drinking from small liquor bottles and were loud and carrying on. This was not exactly the experience I wanted for my 11-year old daughter traveling with us. Will definitely not plan to stay here again.

was that we arrived a little late and we couldn't find a restaurant were we could order in. After being on the road for 10 hrs we didn't really want to drive anymore to find a restaurant. Apparently Hardeeville is in bed by 9pm on a Sunday night. Other than that the hotel was great.

Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Interior appeared fairly recently remodeled. Check-in was inefficient. Property location is right on a major highway (convenient) but directly behind a busy gas station/convenient store which was not appealing.

We had our dog with us. Very comfortable. Room was clean.

The staff was phenomenal.

Black hairs were all in the shower. The fire alarms malfunctioned around 7:30 AM and caused a panic. The beds were so uncomfortable we couldn't sleep.

I like the breakfast but the bed was not the good because it had an annoying sound as you move around.

My hotel stay was great. The breakfast could have been better-- the eggs were a little burnt. The fitness room equipment was also a little outdated. However, the room was nice, clean, and cozy. I definitely would recommend.

Excellent representative of the Brand..Very comfortable. Friendly, efficient staff. The breakfast was the best offering that we’ve seen of the hotel standard buffets. Everything exceptionally clean. Well presented. A winner in the class.

I had high hopes staying here. Unfortunately I was disappointed. The attendant tried to charge me twice for the room when I got here. Then in our room the pull out bed in the suite had rust stains on the mattress and the bedding was dirty. The sheets had hair and stains on pillow cases the bathroom had stains on walls and floor needed mopped. They do have wonderful soap. When we went to go to breakfast it had closed. We were told 10 and showed at 9:30.

It was very hot. Though we had extra fans, and put the A/C down, we slept in sweat and woke up the same.

It was ok. I thought the TV should be placed centered in front of king sized bed. Then ok me a bit to figure out hot water. Red means hot to me but on the dial had to turn handle to the blue which I thought was cold. Confusing. Staff at front desk were very nice. Not sure why I had to pay a $35 charge in case of damages. Not sure how I get that back???

Overall good experience, this is a pet friendly hotel.
