Residence Inn by Marriott Atlanta Airport North/Virginia Ave

This is not a “hotel” per se, even though they advertise as so. We got into the airport at 10:15pm. I called them at 10:30pm and they said they would send a shuttle. I called back at 11:00pm and was assured it was in its way. At 11:15pm we were told that residence inn uses a different named shuttle. Why was THAT not communicated? We actually saw 2 of those shuttles go by.. not acceptable

The property and our stay was really nice. Rosie at the front desk helped us check in early and was very helpful throughout our stay. One small thing that was disappointing was that the pool was closed during our stay. We also did not get housekeeping. When they came, we asked that they come back the next day at noon and when we returned to our room, we saw that housekeeping had not come. Other than that the room was nice and our stay was very pleasant. I like the apartment style hotels and the property. I would definitely come back.

Hotel was close to our destination, clean and came with a very useful kitchenette. Served us well for the one night we stayed and the staff was helpful. Disappointed pool was closed.

We used the pullout and was short a sheet. They brought the bedding down to the room in no time at all. The beds were all comfy and the room was very clean.

There is no hot tub and the shower water is not very hot. Warm at best. The pool is closed until May and the fire pit looks like it hasn't been used in years. The rooms are nice, we had a suite, but the walls are very thin and the floors are thin. So every creak can be heard from upstairs.

We had nowhere to go being that we came all the way from another state all for us to be locked out of our hotel and to have to find a near by store to go to because all of our necessities were locked in the hotel resort.

Inside of the room fine. Exterior a bit on the shabby side. Interior light switches a bit baffling. Finally just unscrewed the bulbs in a desk lamp as I couldn't find the switch it was operated by. Too difficult to simply unplug, as it was behind a couch.

The room was clean but most importantly it provided us with the space we needed for our family of 5. The beds were comfortable and the property is close to the airport. My only suggestion would be to have the sofa bed made up for us since they knew we were coming in at midnight with 3 kids. Other than that, everything was great.

I ended up with a handicap room that was extremely stuffy due to someone had been smoking in there and it was a non smoking room. The experience was not inviting at all. I stayed for 1 of my 3 nights and checked out because of it. I got the run around about cancelling remaining stay due to having purchases through third party. I have no update about my daily incidental fees and never received a receipt confirming one night. I was told multiple times that I would receive in an email.

My ice maker didn’t work unfortunately. Also the $30 parking fee. I was initially told it was free and only after I was already checked in was I told the fee (and I actually called and asked prior to booking). I know it wasn’t intentional, but still…

The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was professional but I wouldn't say "friendly" and never smiled..... unfortunately they could not accommodate the accessibility booking that we booked and had prepaid. Had we gotten the accessible room we booked and prepaid, I would have had zero issue with this facility.

They need to do a better job of wiping bathroom and bedroom doors for filth from previous patrons. Also the entrance door was pretty stained. Other than that, I'd go again, I'd just have to spend the first day wiping down all surfaces.

Bed was not comfortable, could hear people above walking, there is not a shuttle to the airport and back as promised when we booked. The breakfast buffet also was not available. We felt the price was more than the level of comfort.

The air handler intake filter had a last changed date of 12/25/2019!!!! No shuttle due to Covid. Towels given to us in a bag due to Covid. To go breakfast due to Covid. However an absolutely filthy air filter during Covid is perfectly fine?? Well, okay then....

Overall everything was excellent. We loved our spacious room. We were able to get a fire log onsite for the fire place. The only small thing is we needed extra trash bags and they were out.

(The Manager was very unprofessional) but I had no trouble out of no other staff member besides the manager which I expected to be more professional since she was the manager. But the employees had more respect than the manager.

Best Hotel Experience Ever!

I loved the outside cook out grill, but the out stairs was very nasty and was crying out to be pressure washed. The entry door to the room was filthy which I had to clean with clorox. The overnight party on a Thursday night kept my 90 years mother awake until 2 am.

The room was reserved because of the separated bedrooms. When we arrived we were told the carpet had been cleaned and floor was still wet. Of course this was the last room as well. Tv remotes were not working and or were missing. Desk was not helpful. Carpet was wet entire weekend. Disappointing!

It was okay the room layout wasn’t as good as the one I booked In Panama City beach, Florida. The door had a crack underneath bugs could come through. Refrigerator had dents in it. The bed was nice and the lady who checked us in was nice.

Unfortunately, there was continuous noise all night long from the parking lot - people hanging out, talking, partying.. Also, the nearby highway apparently doubles as a motorcycle drag race in the middle of the night. Nice room, but if sleep is a priority consider another nearby hotel.

The hotel was really good. I wish I remembered the name of the cute young lady who checked me in. She was very pleasant. Accommodating. Very nice. So close to the airport but a tad sketchy as a single traveler. Not sure if bc of the fencing, time of day I arrive and left. My young son and his friends who stayed in another part of the hotel were great with it.

The room had a beautiful red and white decor. Everything matched. It was a room with a kitchenette which was one of the most beautiful ones I have seen at residence in with a granite counter top. The room was spacious, the temperature was perfect and the bed was comfortable. The staff were polite. I would definitely chose this hotel again and again when I am back in Atlanta. It had a home feeling to it.

Room was extremely clean, considering it's a pet friendly hotel. Facilities are very neat and well kept. Strongly recommend this hotel. Pet fee is very well worth it.

The place was perfect except the price was competitive to a close by Marriott for half the price. Otherwise I’d have stayed two night. But overall it was just what I needed. They were even nice enough to give me a late check out.

We arrived at the check-in desk, given our room number and keys, had a wonderful young man working at the front desk take our luggage to our place. The only bad part is there are no elevators and for people with bad knees, those steps are tough to climb.

Room walls are thin. You hear other people. Facility is like a motel. Very surprising for a Residence Inn. Ran out of coffee at 11am in the lobby. Breakfast was excellent! The only thing that reminded me it was still a Residence Inn.

Check in process was quite slow. There was no elevator on property but fortunately we stayed on first floor. The room was comfortable but could use some updates in the bathrooms which were small with old tub and toilets. The room was rather noisy with AC units outside and we could hear the guests above us walking around. Airport shuttle was 20 minutes late but the hotel is close to airport which is convenient.

They were kind and provided us with local restaurant to eat.

I would definitely stay here again!

Price was good and service was excellent. Room wasn't incredible. It was large and spacious. But the lights outside the room were so bright at night that even closing the curtains didn't completely fix the issue and the beds were awful! They were flimsy and you could sink into them. There was absolutely no support whatsoever! I had to go to a doctor when I got back home because I was in so much pain.

That said, I wasn't crazy about the room decor and the fact that one of the bedrooms only had a french door with a sheer panel (which could cause a privacy issue). The couch was old and worn out and my daughter said she did not sleep well on the pull-out bed (wasn't comfortable). The blankets on the beds were very thin (fortunately, the weather when we were there was warm).

The staff was amazing! Antuanette at the front desk was very helpful in accommodating any of our requests! We were all very comfortable in the nicely decorated 2 bedroom, 2 bath suite complete with kitchen! Would definitely stay again!

Ms Adrienne was able to switch our room to an accessible room for our special need daughter. When we registered there was no availablity. It was fast prompt polite and hospitality was great:)

We enjoyed our stay. The room was nice and comfortable.

Overall no complaints.
