    The location, we’ve stayed here several times because it offered shuttle service to the surrounding areas, mall & MD Live. We were very disappointed to learn shuttle service is no longer offered and walking is very dangerous due to the heavy mall traffic. No longer any shuttle service, the property was very worn and outdated, the carpet in our unit was a dirty trip hazard. I understood during checkout that the property is being renovated from the top 5th floor down, our unit was on the first floor.

    The a/c in the living room was damaged. The parking was good. Had to go to the front desk for extra towels but they accommodated right away. Staff were nice and the breakfast lady always smiled. The breakfast was ok as they offered alternative meats on different days but the juices were so watered down that they were not edible. Road noise was elevated even though we were on a high floor and not facing the road. If you have stayed with other Marriott brands with 2 bedrooms beware as this only has 1 bathroom.....wish this was clear from the listing. There is a mall across the street and a lot of places to eat.

    The bathroom lights did NOT turn on this time around. I tried several switches to see if there was some trick to it but no go. Showered in the dark, so that was thrilling lol. Overall, I would recommend this location because the staff is so welcoming.

That could have been handled prior to my arrival and let me do what I wanted vs me looking for a card.

    I really liked how super nice the staff was and tended to my needs the best way they could. I didn't like that there was no shuttle to/from the casino ? and it was dark with minimum lighting between the hotel and the casino ? Also there were stains on the curtains that looked like blood stains and the blinds wouldn't close all the way.

    The rooms were in great condition and the staff was very friendly. However, the cable was out from that Friday through Sunday morning for the entire hotel. The cable technician arrived around 10 am. I was assured by management that I would receive extra points to my Marriott account for the inconvenience, however, I have not received any points.

    This was a nice hotel. If you are thinking about walking to the shops or the casino, you are in for a game of frogger - so plan on an uber. I was annoyed that the room did not have an iron so I had to walk around with wrinkled clothes when we left. The room was cozy, clean and comfortable. The location and halls seemed safe. We did not have the breakfast because we were leaving too early in the morning so I gave it 5 stars because there was not a N/A option on the survey. I would stay there again if I were in that area.

    When I book my room at the hotel, I didn’t expect to see all that I seen when I went into the room. That room was great. I loved everything about it. Having separate bedrooms was the best thing ever.     I stayed at TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Arundel Mills, Hanover MD for one week, and unfortunately, it was a regrettable experience from start to finish. The hotel is clearly outdated and in desperate need of remodeling. The carpets throughout the property were visibly dirty and gave off a musty odor—definitely not what you’d expect from a Marriott-branded property. Housekeeping was inconsistent at best, only servicing rooms every other day, and even then, the cleaning was superficial. Trash wasn’t emptied, surfaces weren’t wiped down properly, and fresh linens were hit or miss. The most frustrating part of my stay was the complete lack of responsiveness from the general manager, Shariff. I left multiple messages requesting a call back and even visited the front desk several times hoping to speak with him directly. He was never available, and I never received any follow-up. This level of disregard for guest concerns is unacceptable. Overall, the service was poor, the facilities were neglected, and management was nowhere to be found. I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere. There are plenty of other hotels in the area that actually value their guests. I regret every day of my stay and will not be returning.

I asked about what else was in the area and was basically told “I don’t go out much” instead of at least referring me to one of the guide books which I found later in the lobby.     The room was relatively clean except for the water/mold damage in the bathroom which seemed to be from the broken shower curtain. The curtain wouldn’t stay open OR closed somehow due to being bent down in the middle. It caused water to spill everywhere onto the floor when the shower was in use. The WIFI disconnected quite frequently as well. The staff were very nice! The AC in the room made a terrible high pitched screech the entire time as well.

    The only positive was its proximity to Arundel Mills. Staff were unfriendly and barely communicative. Despite requesting a quiet room, I was placed next to the linen room and front entrance. The room had basic furniture, a fridge, and a stove, but it smelled bad, was outdated, and had very poor water pressure. I doubt I’ll return.

    I have stayed here off and on for years with no issues. I booked through expedia and got charged by both expedia, upon booking, and the hotel upon check out. It has been a total pain in the butt dealing with 3rd party customer service on the expedia end, and all because the front desk at the hotel was of no help. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the new management at the hotel, but I have stayed here a dozen times over the years without any issues. I shouldnt have to feel like this or deal with this headache. I just want the money that they over charged me. It should not be this difficult, but you never know in today's society what people are really trying to do to the customer.

    Over all nice but there was only one luggage cart for the whole 5 story hotel. We never got one either checking in or leaving. We were traveling with a handicapped person which required more luggage than normal. Many long trips to unload and load.

    The bed was an uncomfortable spring mattress with no support. The refrigerator had absolutely no cooling to keep food cool, causing my food to go bad overnight and my bottled water to be room temperature. The fridge had no temperature adjustment dial either. The dishwasher leaked water all over the floor and did not seal shut when in use.

    Towne Suites is a disservice to the Marriott brand. Housekeeping requires an overhaul. I understand that room cleaning is done at two days intervals. When I returned to the hotel from work on the second day, my room wasn't made up and i expressed my displeasure at the reception desk. When I returned from work on the third day, I was shocked to see that my room was not made up. Having worked for multinational companies, I have traveled extensively and stayed in several hotels but I have never seen or experienced anything near what I saw at ToThe response from the female supervisor, who appears to be senior to Mr. Mohammed at the reception was shocking and disappointing. She coldly told me that my room is not scheduled for cleaning - thiscis the third day. Facilities may require an upgrade but keeping the existing assets clean and well maintained will

    The outside was very attractive and inviting. The inside needed a total rehab. We had to move from one room to another because the sheets were dirty and it smelled. The second room was better but the tub had permanent stains. The service was marginal. There were not enough blankets for three beds and they did not bri g more bathroom tissue unless asked and then hours later. The staff seemed u Cari g to the complaints and had not documented that we switched rooms on the first night. Unacceptable as a woke. Would not stay again.

    The staff is not very friendly or helpful. There was a large group of rowdy kids in the breakfast area and I had to tell them to calm down so I could hear my phone conversation. Lastly, I found bugs in the bathroom. I wouldn’t stay here again.

    Clean property and rooms. Pleasant staff. Decent breakfast. Issues with some of the room amenities- electrical wiring was bizarre (kitchen light had to be on to use the bathroom lights). Air conditioning didn’t work in one bedroom and there was no maintenance onsite so we had to do without. Note that the queen pullout is not suitable for anyone larger than a toddler, and we had to ask for bedding.

    However, the staff and maintenance get a terrible rating for not responding to two missing light bulbs. The desk bulb & overhead kitchenette bulb was inoperable. After a 9 day stay, the issue was never resolved.

    Upon walking into the 1st room I reserved it smelled like smoke so I asked for another room. The 2nd room didn’t smell like but the sofa couch was broke. 30 minutes after someone had come to look at the bed, I for a status. They let me know noone was going to fix at that hour (near midnight). So I asked for another room (which like the 2nd was a downgrade to my original reservation. This room was better but every outdoor sound transmitted into the room. Even the dryer transmitted into the room.

    The property is old. There was an issues with electrical issue in the room. TVs not turning on nor was there cable working. The pool was empty and not functionally. The property is suppose to have a facelift soon, but it’s no excuse for a Marriott to be this terrible. Motel6 would have given me a better stay way cheaper!

    The staff was very friendly and helpful. Especially, Kareem. I have no complaints other than they could use another elevator. The room doors are also kind of heavy or hard to open. But I would stay here again. I had a nice stay.

    The staff were super accommodating to me! I showed up super early on the morning of the day I was supposed to check in, and they let me join the breakfast buffet and stay in the lobby until my room was ready for early check-in. The rooms are spacious and clean, and they come with everything you need for cooking if you want to do that!

    We would not stay here again the size of our room was good. The front staff was not friendly the iron in our room was not working we were told to come and get another one. We left for the day and asked for housekeeping to clean the room they did not. The entire 3 days the TV did not work, the hotel must have been under some construction because there was wires everywhere the tub was not clean, and when the water started it was brown at first. We also had issues with the toilet flushing.

    The room was very good, loved the kitchenette. Staff excellent. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was had trouble with the TV, not always working, picture getting stuck etc. One of evening shift came up to look at it but did not know how to get it to work. Said someone would come next day, but that did not happen. By then TV was working again. Also, problem with no hot water in bathtubs in other rooms. Had to shut my water off to fix. After fixing, water was dripping then next day even more and water on floor under tub. By then I was leaving and reported to desk. If not for those two things, stay would have been excellent.

    I want to say , I was staying for 6 days, , they never cleaned my room I asked 2. I had to always go down to get towels. I will never stay there again. It also smelled like Pot every where. I talked to one of the managers and he said he could not do anything except for giving me points. Which I will never use. I am very disappointed. Thanks Amy

    The suite was a little smaller than I expected. The room was clean enough but the bathroom door opening into the bed was odd. The staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very well laid out and plentiful. Overall this was a pleasant stay.

    There were issues beyond the staffs control. Internet tv did not work. Dishwasher lock broken, marijuana smoke in hallways, patched repairs were unprofessional, tubs need to be replaced the coating inside is wearing away, the headboard is coming apart. I understood that the hotel has recently changed management. I hope that they are able to address the issues. This property is not indicative of the Marriott brand. I recognize that due to its proximity to the Casino. It has a high turnover of visitors so that may contribute to the delay in repairs. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again. However, the staff is excellent and I saw them handle complaints from people who held them responsible for the problems with so much grace and kindness.

    I stayed at TownePlace in Bowie and it was an excellent stay each time I was there. I expected the same level of service and consistency. The only thing good about TownePlace BWI is the location. It’s near the mall, airport, groceries and other things. The room wasn’t properly cleaned with stained curtains and bathroom floor. It was missing items including actual forks, drinking glasses, and other kitchen items. I had to ask for bedding for the pullout as there was none in the room. Elevators were down a significant portion of the stay. Water also went out and staff didn’t properly communicate this to guests. Breakfast options were randomly thrown together past the start time and generally unappetizing. Beds and sheets were hard and uncomfortable. Laundry was super expensive at $4 per load. Worst of all, the GM is rude and seemed to just berate staff leaving everyone on edge and performing poorly on their jobs. Most of the time he was outside smoking but when he wasn’t he was snapping at people who were trying their best with what seemed to be limited resources.

    Nice property adjacent to Arundel Mills mall and very convenient to BWI. Room was spacious and clean with full kitchen. Rooms need USB charging ports. Toilet was not flushing properly. Free breakfast was adequate but not great. Adequate for a one night stay.

    The internet for both tv's did not work. No tv in the living room or bed room. I'm not sure how old that mattress was on that bed put when you lay in the middile and it dips on you that is normally an indicator it needs to go. had coffee cups, but no glasses. It was under rentervation as you entered. had to be careful not to get paint on you. Would not stay at that property again
