Fairfield Inn & Suites Arundel Mills BWI Airport

I checked out from this hotel after a 2 night say and when I got home, they had deducted $16 from my card so I called them and they said it was for parking my car for 2 days. Upon further explanations they agreed to refund my money back. Its been 3 weeks and the refind is yet to hit my account.

I like the quietness and cleanliness of the hotel. Plus the breakfast was very I didn't like that I couldn't book my days to stay at the hotel, because the dates I wanted wasn't available

Was there for three nights and maid service came in change out any towels or make bed. Did double use the towels and left dirty ones on the floor, they would have known which ones needed to be replaced.

Great staff at front desk and nice facility overall; however, sofa be was uncomfortable and master bedroom AC was noisy.

The facilities were mostly clean. However, the vent in my room was quite dusty. I did not like that in 2026 they do not accept tap payments. If it wasn’t for my husband, who happened to have his physical card, I wouldn’t have been able to pay my deposit because I don’t have a physical card.

Pros: location, good shower pressure, nice staff at front desk, and well stocked pantry of items for snacks or forgotten toiletries. Cons: carpet was HORRIBLY DIRTY in room 518 leaving my socks brown after a short time walking around, fitted sheet on one bed dirty, the whole hotel including my room smelled musty and odd so I had to buy a room spray from bath & body works to make it better but that only helped for a short time. Mediocre: breakfast was simple and ok but after a day or 2, it got old and ended up at Chik-FIL-a. I confirmed room staff would clean the room, change the bedding and towels on our 3rd day but when I returned after 2PM, it was only partially done (towels and trash) but missed changing the bedding. I called the front desk and the lady was super sweet and did confirm she’d asked the housekeeping staff to do it so I assume there was just a miscommunication. Overall: paid $584 for 4 nights and thought it was in a good location, I’d not stay here again with all the other options.

Room was clean, but the shower was either too hot or too cold. Breakfast was lacking fresh fruit. Front desk personnel had trouble with combining my two reservations. I had to visit the desk several times. Still not sure it worked out. Also they didn’t tell me about the $8 per day parking fee.

It was a nice stay. It snowed. It snowed and the hand no plower service and we had to dig our own cars out and dig the snow off the parking lot that morning to leave. It was horrible that they didn’t have people to plower there parking lots

The room was clean and very spacious. The staff were very friendly and accommodating...from the manger who changed our room to give us a tub instead of a shower...numerous staff who spoke to us...the ladies who set up the breakfast...everyone! The breakfast was the best I've ever experienced in any hotel I've ever stayed in. We were extremely pleased and would definitely would stay there again if our travels take us to Vienna.

I contacted guest service the next morning and I also contacted the hotel through email that same night. There was no response back and also my room was dirty asked to have it clean and it wasn't. Thought this would be a good choice. I love Marriott but this facilities needs lot of work asap and they need to take better care of the customer. I also had to change my own linen as well.

Multiple issues : 1. Water won’t even come properly in sink 2. Shower faucet won’t stand up and after lot of struggle, somehow managed to use shower instead bottom tap, the pull up won’t stay properly or it won’t even come up even with struggle 3. Breakfast, it was not at all good and on top of it, few non veg items directly touching veg / egg items , being a vegetarian, don’t see any option to take at breakfast and it’s not even good as it used to be

Breakfast was excellent and serving staff very professional and helpful with all our needs. The room however had a musty smell but we made due.The location was perfect for our needs. And the casino was right in travel distance.

Location was great. Close to everything at Arundel Mills mall area and casino. Room smelled like mildew but bathroom was extremely clean and shower was amazing!

From start to finish the two days we were at Fairfield Inn we felt welcomed, safe, and cared for. The room and bathroom were very clean, smelled fresh, and comfortable. The continental breakfast was good. The atmosphere at the Inn seemed light and friendly. We had everything we needed to have an enjoyable stay. We definitely recommend this Inn and will stay there again.

The staff was very friendly. I would suggest letting guests know about the limited room cleaning service policy. There is no service on the weekends, which should be adjusted since housekeeping staff are on the premises and some guests only stay over the weekend.

We paid extra to have the 1 bedroom for sleeping separation because the unit was labeled as "sleeps 4" and we needed the 2nd bed. For the price we expected the second bed/pull-out couch to be in better condition - mattress was very uncomfortable and dated and definitely could not sleep two on it! Room was clean, but had a funny smell and also had some cosmetic issues, such as torn wall paper. Hotel is near the highway, which is convenient, but the room was right near the highway and we could hear lots of traffic noise. The staff was excellent and friendly and are the only reason we're giving this hotel 3 stars

I booked two rooms via hotels.com. However, I needed to make an adjustment in the number of occupants of the two rooms. Originally there were to be three adults per room. Upon making an adjustment via hotels.com a terrible mistake occurred. I requested to subtract one guess from one of the two rooms originally booked. That guest decided to book their own room directly with the hotel. Unfortunately.By the end of our stay in the hotel we booked we were charged for four rooms. Trying to resolve this issue with the Hotel staff proved to be impossible.

JP was very cordial and accommodating at the front desk. Shuttle driver was also very courteous!! Breakfast was fresh and a large selection.

Property is in a good location, in close proximity to Arundel, Mills, shopping, live casino, etc. However, room was not very comfortable as thermostats were set to 66° and would not go any lower. While that might seem reasonable temperature, the rooms were hot and humid because of the oppressive heat and humidity which accompany Atlantic summers. Slept with the covers off most of the time in order not to sweat and was told by the staff nothing could be done. The sun during the day would heat up the room through the window, even with blackout curtains, and though the AC was pumping out as best it could at 66°, the room never got below 79° and humid.

This hotel felt very clean and fresh. All the people at the front desk were kind and helpful, we were even able to check k in early. The only downside was that there was a sign in the breakfast area that stated they had gluten free options and to ask an employee; unfortunately I was told they didn’t have anything.

The property was very convenient for us considering our plans. I like that it is close to several eateries and the mall. The only downside was the hotel room had a slight odor as if the room had not been properly clean. Then the smell got worse and smelt like a sewer.

My family missed our flight leaving Baltimore and had to rebook for the next morning. I couldn’t risk staying overnight in the airport so I booked the room via hotels.com, I prepaid and then had to get a taxi to the hotel and once there to check in I was told that they were sold out and that they tried to call me which they did not and to add insult to injury they sent me an email while I was standing in front of the desk clerk stating that my room was sold out. This experience left me, my husband and my autistic son standing outside calling several hotels in the area only to be told they were all sold out. My husband finally found another hotel on the other side of town and we then had to spend more money getting another taxi. Very disappointed and disgusted by this whole experience

Fairfield Inn & Suites Arundel Mills BWI Airport is very convenient. There are several food and shopping options close by as well as entertainment. I noticed there was an area shuttle thought I wasn’t there long enough to need it. The hotel bed was comfy and the room was quiet. I enjoyed staying there.

Pool and gym were small but great for overnight. I loked the selection for breakfast. My 16 year old said did not like it. I told him to go hungry. I liked it. Very close to Arundel Mills Mall and Bass Pro shop. Had dinner and show at Medevil Times which was a nice change, food, and actors. Casino close but not taking a kid.

Make sure to check the conditioner and boady soap bottles before taking a shower! Overall, great place.

I was given 4 different rooms that smelled like body odor, and with no other rooms available, now have to fight to get a non-refundable payment back.

Just all round great hotel, ain and simple. I'm picky and found to criticize with this one.

For the price and a bed for the week it was ok but i did not realise it had no restaurant or bar so it was trips out to eat every night. The room was spotlessly clean although something had been clealr spilt on the wallpaper in the bathroom in the past which perhaps could not be removed. The complimentary breakfast was ok and very much a cheese, egg and what looked like a mini burger offering although they did have yoghurts, cereals and one selection of fruit which was ok. The gym had sufficent items and equipment and saw noone use the indoor pool.

Fairfield Inn is conveniently located and very clean and comfortable. We checked in late and the front desk person was nice and helpful. The free breakfast is pretty basic and the seating area is comfortable.

Don’t expect much from this place. I’ve had worse and I’ve had better. Beware that they make you sign a waiver at check-in that you won’t destroy the place. You need to leave a $60 deposit. Another Fairfield we stayed in only required $20. Room service is only 3 days a week and of course, not the days we stayed. We had to request fresh towels. The breakfast on Monday was lacking - no fruit, no bottled water. Pastries were barely edible. I had to ask the Spanish- speaking guy for yogurt. Wasn’t super clean, but wasn’t horrible. No one bothered to ask how our stay was. I might go to another hotel next time. Just not welcoming.

Check in was easy, very nice young woman.The room had a pleasant smell. I did not like the glass doors on the shower as doors looked streaked. They ran out of food, and coffee creamer. There was no luggage rack, to hold suitcase.

The property was in a cul-de-sac. There wasn't a lot of traffic but it was right across the street from the mall and casino. The staff was friendly. The room was very clean. The shower was amazing. Our room smelled very musty. I sprayed essential oils but it couldn't cover the smell. The bathroom had a broken towel rack so we didn't have anywhere appropriate to hang our towel/washclothes.

The hotel was painted in nice colors the staff was nice. The hotel was close to my family and shopping. Please keep up the good work . I love Marriott.

Hotel was beautiful when it was new. It needs refurbishing: new upholstery, a new elevator (one is almost always broken apparently). It was very comfortable, had a good fitness room. We didn't like the free breakfast overly, but it was OK. We would have preferred a more conventional breakfast buffet. But we would stay there again, now that we know where it is...

Wow, the staff at this hotel is INCREDIBLE! So friendly, helpful, kind, accommodating. They are definitely the nicest staff I have EVER experienced at a hotel. And the hotel is nice, room clean and spacious, super-easy parking, and LOADS of good shopping and restaurants very near by. The area also feels really safe.
