They had very nice in-room amenities. Our room was very clean and neat and the staff was very helpful and it was quiet.

It was very noisy until late past 3am on Friday and Saturday night. There’s an outdoor “grill area” that was a late night party gathering spot for drunks and smokers. A terrible environment and experience for guests using the hotel for a place to sleep. You could hear the noise all night in our room.

Nice property, excellent staff and very clean. Convenient location to BWI. Only downside was room located next to street and truck traffic coming down road was loud. Would stay again.

Not impressed

I was extremely disappointed with my stay. The noise level from the room above us was unbearable and continued throughout the entire night, making it impossible to sleep. We contacted staff three separate times to complain, but nothing was done to address the situation. For the price and expectations of the stay, I expected much better customer service and a quicker resolution. Unfortunately, this experience made the stay very frustrating and exhausting.

The only thing I didn’t like was the air conditioner. It kept cutting off and it was so hot in the room.

The room was very comfortable. I got a good night's sleep every night. I'll have to travel to Maryland in the future, and I"m definitely staying at this hotel. I greatly appreciated the 24/7 coffee machine. It's nice to be able to grab a cup on the way out the door in the morning. It saved me time and money. I don't know of anything that I would change. The staff was super nice and helpful, and the whole place was clean and comfortable.

The night shift front desk receptionist when we stayed showed us a boring face and not charming to welcome us. She was not interested in working there and wanted to go home! She leaned on the desk playing her cellphone.

Everything great staff, great location near NR paintball. Having a full fridge and stove top is a game changer for long weekends at the field and saves money on takeout Nit picking here but a way to get change for the washer dryer or a tap to pay/card system would be CLUTCH

It was not a bad experience and it was not great it was average at best. The fact that they took $75 out of my account days later and after six phone calls and 2 hours on the phone nobody can tell me where my money went and why when I left the room in perfect condition with nothing missing. They just took $75 from me and I have absolutely no idea why or where I can get an explanation I didn't even get an email. I intend to file a complaint.

We really liked the set up of the room. It was nice having access to a kitchen. Also liked that we can control the temp in our room and it actually works. Room was mostly clean but there was a finger nail being the faucet in the bathroom and a Q-tip under the bathroom sink which made us question how clean the room really was. However, the shower, bed, toilet and kitchen were clean, at-least to the naked eye. Overall, we would probably stay here again. Minus the cleanliness concern, the experience was nice, quiet and comfortable.

Every staff member we came in contact with was very friendly. Ourroom was clean very spacious. You do hear planes from nearby BWI airport, but it didn't bother us. Ample parking. We went to a concert at Maryland Live and it was a very easy, short commute. We will stay again while in the area.

It was a quick stay for us but a very clean comfortable room. We would gladly stay here again !

The room appeared to be clean, but since we were traveling with a baby, we inspected more thoroughly, and behind the couch we found two used pregnancy tests. We reported this and were moved to a different room. In the second room, when we checked the same area, we found women’s socks and sanitary pads. We decided to leave, but we were never able to get a refund.

The biggest concerns were that the bathroom didn’t have any shower bars to hold on to in the shower. The shower head couldn't be adjusted and the shower water streamed to the back of the shower. It couldn't be lowered. There were no grip strips in the tub to prevent slipping. The shower curtain didn’t pull all the way to the back of the tub to prevent water from spilling onto the floor. The toilet could've been bigger and taller. There was no light in the closet. The recliner was badly worn and placed right next to the bed making it difficult to get in or out of the bed on that side of the bed. The recliner didn’t recline. The pillows on the bed were too soft. The air conditioning unit was extremely loud. It made it difficult to get some sleep.

The property very rudely called me prior to my stay asking me to pre-pay for the reservation or it would be canceled. They asked me to provide credit card information over the phone. Unacceptable was not stated at all in the fine print.

We left a coat behind after checking out. No new visitors had entered the room.... Staff took the coat!

Very family oriented staff, the location was perfect for my trip only 7mins from where I needed to be. $15 for housekeeping if your not staying longer than a week, buy honestly a lot of hotels changes their housekeeping since COVID so every location is not the same. The place is clean and its simple. The washer and dryer usage is free as long as you have your own detergent but you can also buy some from the little store in the lobby as well. It was what we needed for the 3 days we were there.

My problem was not with the hotel itself, but with the terrible treatment I received as a result of the obvious incompetency of Expedia as a third party booking agency. I was thrown out of my room after the first night of my 2-night paid and confirmed reservation via Expedia because Candlewood Suites claimed that they had not received any payment from Expedia, claiming that I paid for just one night when I checked in. Even when I provided proof of my prepaid and confirmed reservation, the manager insisted that the hotel did not receive any funds from Expedia, and that the room was already booked for that second night to another customer. By the time everything was resolved, my stay was ruined. I will never use a third party, like Expedia, to book anything again, and I will advise everyone to go directly to the source whenever possible.

Place was fine, clean, bright. But we were given a room and upon entry, there was a very very naked man on the bed watching adult videos….. not fun when you are with your 15 year old son. We were given a different room after that and everything went fine. But yea. Not a good way to start….

I only stayed one night for a business trip but the ease of checking in was a breeze. Hotel was very quiet. The room was small but perfect if that makes sense. It was just me and all I needed. Bed was comfortable, room was clean. Would stay again.

My stay was 6.5/10. The people who were above us were stomping around the floor at around 4am every night, it was loud enough to wake me and my boyfriend up out of our sleep. I also booked with Hotels.com and my balance I owed at the property was $243 when I get there they told me I owed them $318… and didn’t even explain why. Overall the hotel was nice for the two days we stayed. I’m not sure if I would stay here again though.

I want my money back! This was one of the most unprofessional hotels that I have ever stayed in! The guy at the front desk could care less, because he was too busy in his phone. Had to return to the desk three times, because the key cards didn't work. Could get to the elevator because the maintenance man so kindly spread himself across the floor with his tools, that it was impossible to pass him in the hallway to get to the elevator. The absolute stench of weed permeated the air as SOON as you entered the building... nothing but people hanging in the lobby and outside of the hotel, smoking. The temperature in the room was beyond ridiculous - it was almost 80 when I entered the room, the A/C only worked intermittently, those beds are horrible and very uncomfortable. The only nice part of the visit was the nice young lady that checked me out when I left the hotel. I definitely won't be staying here the next time I return to Maryland.

This hotel is by far one of the best we have ever stayed at. Everyone was super friendly. We travel with 2 very small dogs and they put us on a floor with other dogs. Made it feel included. Room was plenty big for them to run around and very very clean from other dogs possibly staying there. 2 downfalls to the hotel that caused me to give a 4 and not a 5.... No breakfast but in their defense the rooms have a fully equipt kitchen to make your own. And the heater in our room wouldn't work. Temp was 64 degrees entire weekend. Some kind of eco friendly thermostat that recognizes when it should run. However in the hotels defense I did not complain about it or they would have sent someone up to look at it I am sure.

This was a nice property in a quiet area for the most part. Front desk staff was not friendly or helpful at all. Housekeeping did not speak English so you could not speak to them about needing anything related to towels paper products etc. Not sure l would reccomend a stay here.

The room, which included a kitchenette, was nice but small (which was important because the hotel does not serve breakfast). The staff was nice. The location seemed fine. However, the other residents not so much. Dirty laundry was found in the hallway, they only clean the rooms once a week, the outdoor grill area (close to 1st floor rooms) was frequented by raucous patrons, and there was a rather loud verbal domestic dispute in the parking lot (which ended in engine-revving rubber-burning doughnuts in the parking lot).

This place was amazing! We stayed for a few nights for a lacrosse tournament, and we had a great experience. The hotel is new and very clean, the receptionist was friendly and offered recommendations, and the location was perfect. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed for 1 night before our flight back home the next day. It’s a studio type with a full kitchen (but didn’t get to use it). They should at least provide a complimentary bottled water. Overall it was a comfortable one night stay. 7 mins to the Arundel Mall by car.

The front desk lady with the Blonde hair was Amazing. She accommodate me when coming in earlier. She was warm and inviting and very helpful. I would stay here again because of this lady.

Nice enough property, but no breakfast available, and no restaurants in the hotel or within walking distance. Way off the beaten path. My room was near the elevator, and every time someone used the elevator there was a loud ding. A/C very noisy and temperature didn't adjust easily.

Everything was great. I could not get any better. I wish we could take this stay with us wherever we go.

Everything was clean, comfortable, and felt safe. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. The one issue I had was with the airport shuttle. When I called around 2:30 PM, they said a shuttle wouldn't be available until 5 PM. I wasn't able to wait that long so I ended up Ubering. Other than that, the stay was great.

This hotel was in very good condition, and the staff was absolutely wonderful. We had to stay here to settle an estate for nine days, and I cannot find a single thing that I would complain about except for the fact that the bathroom door needed to have a mirror on the back of it so I could do my hair. The dark background against my red hair made it difficult to fix my hair. The bathtub was difficult to get in and out of and could have used another bar on it. Otherwise it was perfect. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

My wife and I had a very nice four night stay here recently. Our suite was roomy, had a full kitchen, and was great value for the price compared to other hotels. Only minor complaint is our room faced the front courtyard directly above a covered sitting area with tables and a grill, which are a great feature of the hotel. Many guests would sit at the tables for a cigarette or cannabis. Sometimes the air conditioner would draw those smells into the room. It only happened a few times during our stay, usually late at night, so it wasn't a big problem but it was annoying when it did occur. Other than that, this is one of the best hotels to stay at if you're in the area for a few days or just a layover at BWI airport. The Arundel Mills mega-mall and surrounding businesses across the highway from the hotel are very convenient places to shop, eat, gas up, or catch a movie.

Beautiful Suite.

Hotel was clean and service was adequate. The entryway is unspectacular. This leaves the interaction with the desk staff as the sole component of your first and lasting impression of the hotel. The staff was courteous but I would not characterize them as out going or friendly. When the desk staff are drinking a can of soda and engaged in a personal discussion while not giving you the time of day as you come and go from the hotel, it does not leave the best impression. This would not be noticeable or have an effect on all patrons, but it does on some. We had a room facing the highway and the road noise is very loud and constant-can be easily heard in the room. We asked to be moved to the back side of the hotel but were told no rooms on the backside away from the highway had 2 queens, which we needed. Not sure if that is so, but that's what we were told.

Stayed here over the weekend for a staycation because we just wanted to have a change in scenery away from home. We thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations and plus staff were very nice. Close to the attractions we were interested in within only a quick drive away. Very nice, large and clean room so we will be staying here again. Nice weekend indeed!!!
