    Bathroom door came off the track, complained first night nothing done, next morning completely fell falling on one guest. AC did not blow cold air, refrigerator did not cool, pool was not open, elevators only worked part time. Had to take stairs and use emergency exit at one point creating alarms to sound. Compensated with complimentary breakfast which was not good at all. Was moved to another room on second night but no compensation other than breakfast and snacks. Feel like room rate should have been reduced. Will not stay here again. Property has definitely gone done hill since my last stay 2 years ago.

    We were only here for one night. Very nice room with a view and the beds were super comfortable! Garage parking seemed to be the only parking available, but I was asked if we wanted to park in the garage - and it costs extra to park there - not sure where any other parking was, so that was confusing. All in all, a great place to stay. The tunnel area is all under construction and idiots were still trying to drive 80+ on those roads, so use caution in the area. I thought we were going to get run off the road! But overall, a great place to stay.

    I would not stay again. The windows leaked when it rained. We called and spoke to the manager and he asked “What do you want me to do” Wow! There 5 days, never cleaned our room. We asked for clean washcloths, they said they had no clean washcloths in the whole hotel. Some of the staff did not show good customer service. Can not believe this is a Hilton hotel. Hilton needs to pay them a visit and get things in order.

    I’ve stayed here a couple times this wasn’t the best experience. Wasn’t much lighting in the room, the sliding door to the bathroom was stuck. We asked for more towels never got them. Not the best experience

    Room was clean and decent Please do not let the photos fool you, it looks absolutely nothing like the photos, we did arrive late around 11:30pm. We pulled in to a crowd of a loud group smoking pot right outside the door, it was sketchy for sure. Go inside and check in to be told I needed to pay to park which nothing on booking.com lets you know that, all good took care of that. We had to park in a parking garage at the hotel and all the way to the 5th level and again very sketchy and a crowd clearly smoking pot. My husband looked at me and said when we check out tomorrow and come back to our car and it’s not damaged I will be surprise. They were just kinda wondering around the parking garage checking out the cars. No where near a 5 star hotel. Our room did over look the harbor no boats docked and an awful sight of the back area of the hotel with a pool with not a drop of water in it ( June and 90 degrees )and a mess of just junk around the tables and chairs like at the back area of hotel where normally you can relax outside. Most doors were rusty and old and warm out. Lobby needs a major face lift. We did not feel comfortable at any part of the checking in or stay or check out!!

    Views are beautiful over the Marina/water. Room was clean and updated. Restaurant owned by the hotel was delicious. Easy driving in and out. Mixed review, but I will be looking for a better value in Hampton next time. The Landing seems to be aiming for high margin customers but not delivering on the basics that are expected at their room prices.

    Food from prior occupants was left in the room fridge, our room was not cleaned and upon returning to our room in the evening we called and only new towels were available to us, the pool and outside bar were never opened over all of Memorial Day weekend, despite being listed as an amenity online. Even though weather was cloudy, there was a covering over the outside area that could've been opened. The pool did not even have water in it. This was false advertising. We won't be back and will tell friends and family not to stay here.

    This was our first stay here. The tile floor in the foyer of the room and bathroom were sticky. The TV did not work. Every channel selected said “off air “. We called down to the front desk two times, both times they said they would send someone up to look at it. No one ever came. The rest of the room, although clean, needs a refresh (handles broken on the dresser, paint on the walls has seen its life-span). The bed was ok, softer than we prefer but that is just our personal preference. The shower needs re-caulking and the trim on the glass shower door was peeling off. The water pressure started out light but improved after a few minutes. Water temperature was fine. We did not eat at the hotel or use any of the amenities outside of our room.

    The bathroom doors in the rooms do not fully close and is uncomfortable/not private. The rooms themselves were very nice/clean though. The bar had a good selection. I stayed here for my wedding and unfortunately could not book a hotel block as the requirement is a 2 night/20 room minimum which was not feasible. Location was ideal for our wedding venue though and there are plenty of food options in walking distance which was convenient.

    The property itself was updated. Although it may look historic on the outside the inside was beautiful. I love the hotel scent that they have. The staff was amazing and checked in on text everyday. The room was really boutique ish which I love. Everything looked kept up. Very peaceful near the water. The bed was soft. Only thing I didn’t like were the bathroom doors. They were barn doors but needed better closure. They also offer igloos which are cool. There is plenty of seating in the downstairs area. So you never feel like you can’t chill out down there. Although no microwave in your room there is a microwave on the first floor lobby area to use which I appreciate. Breakfast menu was small but food had flavor but took long. I’m guessing they need more staff in the kitchen. The bar staff was cool.

    The first room was unacceptable, so we requested a change but the second room was no better. There were holes in the walls where you could see wires, and even a hole in the bathroom ceiling. The vents were full of visible dust, and overall cleanliness was very poor. The bathroom was especially disappointing. The tub looked like something out of a hospital delivery room, not a suite. We specifically asked if the room had a soaking tub and were told no, yet the property’s own website shows otherwise, which was very misleading. There were also inconsistencies between rooms the first room had a mirror, while the second did not, which made the downgrade even more frustrating. On top of that, there wasn’t even a microwave available, which is a basic amenity you would expect at this price point. Overall, the hotel felt extremely outdated, poorly maintained, and not worth anywhere near what I paid. This was not the experience that was advertised or promised. I am requesting a refund due to the unacceptable conditions and misleading information.

    When I brought this safety concern to the attention of the Front Office Manager, Attonayo Branch, I found his response to be dismissive & unprofessional. Rather than acknowledging the severity of the incident, he stated he was unaware of the issue and indicated he was preoccupied with billing & the volume of check-ins. This level of response is inadequate when a guest’s safety, particularly that of children, has been compromised. I want to note that the maintenance team & front desk staff handled the situation with genuine empathy & professionalism, which I appreciated. While the marina views and proximity to Hampton University are appealing, they don’t offset safety hazards, deferred maintenance, or deficiencies in management-level leadership. I strongly encourage ownership & senior management to review both the physical condition of the rooms & the guest-relations standards expected of managerial staff.

Hotel parking and onsite dining were exactly what we needed.     We will never stay here again. Even the shower had barely hot water. I got more water pressure out of the sink , then the shower . Parking is not included. Breakfast is 22.00 for one person . Tip was included NOT NOT worth it. Room was dirty. Barn doors fall off when closing bathroom door. The heater sounds like a car motor for 10 mins til it shuts off. Paper thin walls . You hear everything. All around terrible hotel, for a very expensive price tag.

    The people were nice. They were not staffed to be sold out. They didn’t change the sheets or clean the rooms they just emptied the garbage, tucked the sheets and replaced towels. This is an old hotel that they charge a premium for but it’s not renovated

    We did not enjoy our room at all. The AC unit was extremely, extremely loud to the point of waking us up out of our sleep each time it started up. Our last night we slept at a higher than comfortable temperature to keep the unit from kicking up so often so we wouldn’t wake up several times during the night. The mattress cover had large, dark stains and so did the lounge chair. The view, while very nice, was distracted by the massive amount of bird poop on the window. The water pressure in the shower was very low and almost useless. The shower floor was disgusting with visible dirt caked and stained into the shower floor. We had to put a towel down so to not touch the floor with our bare feet. Paint was chipping off all the walls, including in the elevator and there was a large drip stain on the door to adjoining room. The shower door did not properly close. The gap between the entry door and the floor was so wide it let the light from the hallway into the room so at night the room was never completely dark unless we laid a towel on the floor. All in all we felt very uncomfortable in our room and will not stay again until proper maintenance and upkeep are done and will not recommend the hotel to anyone either.

    While the location was convenient for me, the property itself was average at best. The staff at the Desk tried their best, but overall not my greatest experience with a hotel. Everything seemed dirty, kind of used and abused. The parking garage elevators smelled like urine. My hotel room was only serviced two times out of the five nights I was there. Each time it wasn’t, I returned to find a do not disturb tag conveniently hanging on the handle that I know I did not leave. And my hotel room overall while it had an amazing view it wasn’t designed thoughtfully. The shower was difficult to use as it was piped in incorrectly. The floor of the shower was dirty and dingy and could use a good scrubbing with some bleach.There was no counter space for a lady to do what she needed to do for make up or hair. The walls were sloppy dinged often marked with scuffs scratches cracks. I don’t think it was a good value for the price. Definitely not up to the standard I expect from a Hilton hotel.

    I was welcomed at late check-in with a smile and prompt service, after a long travel day. Front desk staff, Natasha was courteous, pleasant, and very helpful to me and my family.     Room was not clean when I went into room. Trash and towels and bed was not made. Lady at the front said the breakfast was at a certain time and I paid for it and then when I went down they said there’s an event so it’s closed. So I paid for nothing. The air conditioner made a clicking noise all night so I didn’t get good sleep at all.

    I paid for the room on Expedia and they charge my CC for the room, so paying twice, I had to call to get a refund, been several days since I called and still no refund, I’ll call again today. Dukes and Boots was going on a couple blocks away, not my type of crowd. Lots of noise at midnight. Room was clean, but the rest of the hotel was not. Not sure if something was wrong with the elevators, but it took 5 minutes for the elevator to come. Tried just walking down the stairs and you cannot even take the stairs to the first floor with out setting an alarm off. I walked down from the 3rd floor, saw the warning sign on the door, walked back up the the 2nd floor to ride the elevator to the 1st, I was not happy. I will not be staying here again…

Bathroom door came off hinge. Not able to close properly for privacy. And, I can't even get into the dining experience which had us waiting over an hour for our dinner. Overall disappointing experience. And, I brought along family who were in the room next door and also had horrible experience. I was dropping my granddaughter off at college & our Hilton stay won't be a good memory, to say the least. I'd ask to actually be fully refunded for my stay, if I could. Actually, I am asking.     Terribly dirty. Mildew smell throughout. One elevator worked. All trash cans in public spaces were over flowing. Elevator in parking garage broke and had to pry the door open and climb the flights of steps to get car.

    The hotel was very nice and the was so so comfortable. However, the pool was not working, the water pressure was low because the hotel was fully booked and only one elevator was working. So, when we were all checking out, it was a very long process to get downstairs with all of our luggage. Although, I must say that the staff that morning held it down with so professionalism, I did not see anyone upset with them. Mainly, because it was not their fault. They just happened to be the associates that were working that morning.

    Then once I received my room, it was dirty. They only had two working elevators when we arrived, so there was a line. By the time we went out, had dinner and returned, it was down to one working elevator, in a hotel with nine floors. Their were stains on the ONLY chair that was in the room, the barn style doors on the did not work properly, one of the brackets on the floor, turned slightly, making it so I could only open one side. The ceiling had a terrible patch job done, that almost spread across the whole room. The carpet had food crumbs all around the room. The table next to the bed was not screwed down so it came off when I touched it. The hand held shower head was not attached to the water line correctly, so when I picked it up, the line fell to the floor. The mattress in both beds were sagging on all sides. So if you slept on your side , you risk falling off. The hotel could be nice, it just need some work. Again the staff was very friendly but perhaps they are under staffed on the cleaning side. And could possibly use some experienced, maintenance men, who could repair things properly. While they cannot predict things like the elevator breaking, they could have had the third elevator working before hand.

    I’ve stayed her several times this year. This visit will be my last. The shower nozzle was broken and we had to be moved to another room very late. The toilet didn’t flush properly. It’s extremely noisy! The front desk staff isn’t always the friendliest.

    Unfortunately, our stay at the Hilton in Hampton, VA was disappointing. Upon arrival, we inquired about the pool only to be told it was out of order and unavailable to guests—something that had not been mentioned prior to booking. The elevators were extremely slow and appeared to be in poor condition. The entire hotel, including the rooms, felt tired and worn, in need of significant updates. Surprisingly, even complimentary coffee was not offered in the morning. Overall, the experience did not meet the standards we expect from Hilton, and we would not return.

    The room I had was cozy with warm wooden accents, a big window that offered an impressive view of downtown Hampton and the nearby marina! I even liked the monster sized TV with a personalized welcome message on the screen! They text you to ask if you need anything, which is very nice. I had a very nice experience there, and plan on making another visit!

    The Tapestry is situated in a beautiful location and is just as stunning on the inside. From the front desk to the restaurant and bar staff, everyone was incredibly personable and welcoming — they truly made the stay feel special! There were a couple of small things that could be improved. The elevators were a bit slow, but they got us where we needed to go. Our room could’ve used a little more attention to detail with cleaning — particularly the bedframe. The air conditioner wasn’t the strongest, but the room itself was spacious and the view was absolutely breathtaking. Despite the minor issues, I will definitely book this hotel again. The heart of this place — its people and atmosphere — made it a memorable and worthwhile stay.

    The walk away from the garage to the property felt unsafe. Outdated elevator, there is one microwave in the lobby but none in the rooms. Ac wasn't working in the first room but it was a quick switch to another. Partial Waterview, it wasn't what was expected and the pool was closed.

    The view from our room was lovely. The place was very clean and the staff so kind and friendly. Just didn’t get a higher rating cause only 1 elevator was working, the pool was not open, and our window leaked cause of a giant storm one night. Also, the parking garage is not attached. So, I wish I had known that. But for the price and cleanliness I would stay again.

    However, there were several things that could have been better. There was no shampoo in the bathroom, and despite trying to call the front desk multiple times, no one ever answered. Speaking of the front desk, the check-in experience was disappointing—the lady working there didn’t greet us, wasn’t friendly, and gave the impression that we were bothering her. She seemed to be the only one working at the time. A big letdown was finding out the pool was not operational, which we were only told about the night before our arrival. That was a deal breaker for us, as it was one of the main reasons we chose the hotel. Additionally, the bar area was overcrowded, and there was a private event in the dining room, making it very loud and uncomfortable. On a brighter note, the lady working at the bar was lovely, and the food was actually very good. But the hotel itself feels outdated—especially the elevators, which were old and honestly a bit scary in the way they operated. Overall, the stay had some nice moments, but there are definitely a few things that need improvement to make it worth returning.

    The only chair in the room was an interesting-looking round "chair and a half" that had a stained seat cushion. The shower was weird in that once it got hot, you couldn't lower the temperature. So once it got hot, you had to dance your way in and out of the water so as not to get burned. Very odd and borderline dangerous....

    First I want to start with the positives…the staff was super friends and helpful. The beds/pillows were extremely comfortable and once I fell asleep…I slept good. Ok, the bad. I don’t know how are the rooms are but I reserved two rooms and both were the same. They are falling apart. The ceiling in the bathrooms are falling down, the showers appeared clean visually but stunk like mildew, and just the details of the places aren’t being taken care of. I notice things like sloppy paint jobs over half an outlet cover and busted tiles in the foyer area. Basically, it’s just not being taken care of. My kids and I were excited to utilize the pool, however, two out of the three evenings (4-10pm) they were privately booked! Our last night there, when the party was leaving, the group decided to walk out the front where the fire truck was and was screaming and hollering and twerking all over the fire truck (I’m not making this up). My son went to his car out in the parking deck and was approached by two men repeatedly asking if they could tint his windows? This place and the area is not family friendly. Found out once down there that they are shutting all beaches down at 8pm due to crime. Just something to keep in mind.

    My husband and I stay at this hotel from time to time because my sisters live in Hampton so after visiting with my sisters we take a couple days for ourselves. Carolyn at the cocktail bar was amazing!!! She really knows her stuff and we had so much fun we her. The inside bartender (sorry I do not remember her name) was really cool as well.     Service was mediocre, staff wasnt overly friendly, not fast and some didn't know what was going on. The elevators were slow and occasionally took you to your floor, door didnt open, then went to another floor. Room was small but fairly comfortable. Windows couldve been cleaner to enjoy our water view that had a huge parking garage in front of it. Overall an okay stay, probably wouldn't go back.

    Dana and Tasha, Bartender were amazing. First night was great other than a big crack in our window on 3rd floor and no ice machines working. 2nd day. We were kicked out of the pool area although we explained we had a room here and paid for our stay. The elevators were broken. Our AC stopped working. We went and sat at bar with Tasha who clarified and said we most definitely were allowed into pool area. 3rd day. Elevators and ice machines broke. Are from restaurant the potato’s in the Nothing but shrimp pot were very hard and the pot had no flavor. As we sat at bar this night 5 people complained over their food. Again, Tasha was great!! And, tried to rectify. As a very experienced and frequent traveler this was not a great experience. Other than our bar time with Tasha. Kudos to Tasha for trying as the bartender to make-up for the misleading and handling of the entire hotel and stay.

    We had reserved a King Suite on the 9th floor with a water view. Upon check in, the temperature was 82 degrees and the A/C was not working. We were placed in a King Suite on the 2nd floor without a good view but the A/C worked. The 2nd floor room was at a lower cost but we received no price adjustment for the difference. The facility seems to lack in updating and maintenance .

    Soon as my husband and I got there to check in from our 2 1/2 hour drive , they told me at the front desk that my room had been cancelled because I used a 3rd party booking. I have never had this issue anywhere else. I showed my reservation and it was cheaper than what they had me pay even though he stated it was cheaper they still charge me a price that was higher and no one knows why my reservation was canceled.
