    It was well past check in time but rooms weren't clean. We got back from beach on our 2nd day... no clean towels or room cleaned. We called front at 4:30 pm and they said towels were in the wash. I felt bad for the cleaning crew because it was obvious they were short staffed and exhausted. No garbage can in room... just bathroom. Definitely was not a good look for the Marriott brand.

    The aesthetic of the front entrance and lobby was beautiful. The young man who greeted us had great customer service and was helpful. When we first arrived to the hotel, we were issued keys to our room that did not work and we had to go downstairs to get another set when the young man had to bring us up to our room to let us in. On our way up to the room there were bugs throughout the hallways. When we got to our room, the cleanliness was subpar and there were a couple of bugs in our bath tub. The sheets on our bed had horrible staining (I have photos) and there was a shortage of towels throughout our stay at the hotel that we ended up having to go to Walmart to purchase our own. I have never this experience at a Marriott as a member and was very displeased.

    First day and half the second floor smelled like a hot dumpster. The first floor at elevator 5 had a lingering smell of feces. There were missing condiments. And the shower head was so soft it took forever to rinse my hair and I’m close to bald. Also 15 min after I check in someone was trying to enter my room. Apparently they were issued the same room. I stay at a lot of Marriotts on east coast and Midwest. This is by far the worst managed and maintained Courtyard I have ever been to. I will not stay there again.

    Very helpful staff. We booked via hotels.com and there was a glitch in the system. Fortunately, they allowed my husband to check-in with the reservation. The room was large and gave beds for my husband, our son and his friend. It was also very close to the tournament location.

    On a positive note, the reception staff was amazing! Art and the older lady that wore a mask are the glue that holds that place together! The cook in the kitchen, I see you and you are doing a wonderful job. The food was amazing. The guy doing the cleaning in the lobby. You take pride in your work and it shows.

    I arrived at the country yard late. I called ahead of time, to make sure that they had my reservation. When I got there, they gave me a room that I did not pay for I paid for a room with a bed and a pull out sofa for my son. They give me a room with no pull out bed. When I went downstairs to tell them about the room, the staff told me they had no more rooms left and it was nothing he can do. Me, my husband and my son had to sleep in one bed, which was unacceptable. I should have gotten what I paid for. I will never stay at Country yard marriott again in Hampton Virginia again.

    Breakfast sandwich cost 12$ and was aweful. Completary coffee aweful. The service was aweful. They checked me out then proceeded to call me in the middle of an event i was there to attend. Then tell me I paid 450$ for one night rather than the 2 nights I booked for. THEN INSTEAD OF FIXING THE PROBLEM THEY TOLD ME TO FIGURE IT OUT. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told there was Noone else to talk to. This took an hour for them to realize the problem was on their end. making me miss my event I paid almost a grand total to attend. They didnt even attempt to explain or apologize. Theres mold in the showers the door to the room has a 1 inch gap where the outside hallway can see in through the bottom of the door. The bed is so uncomfortable. The room didnt even have a microwave. You can hear everything This hotel ruined my stay as a bonvoy member I am deeply disappointed and will never be returning.

    When I checked in the sheets had not been changed , they had urine yellow stains on them , phone didn't work , moved to another room and no towel service tht day , bad not made up , til the nxt day , and towels replaced . Was not a pleasant stay for wht I paid , and the staff seemed so unconcerned, offered a free breakfast for a room with urine stained sheets .

    The bed was the best thing about this location as well as the Bistro located on site. The shower was nice! The room wasn’t cleaned well, the rooms are older and need to be renovated, the LG tv keeps losing signal, the location isn’t the best, the front desk personnel took so long checking us in. He kept saying it was due to a third party booking app but he was in training something I could tell due to his coworker looking over his shoulder and assisting him. And the keyboard keys were maybe too small for his fingers, because he had to keep back-spacing due to pressing too many incorrect keys at one time. The sink faucet took a really long time to warm up and it wasn’t really user friendly. Just wasn’t what I was expecting for a Courtyard Marriot.

    The hotel was nice and clean. The 2 ladies who were working at 630 in the morning were rude. I reserved my room for 3 people. My husband went down to the front desk, to get a towel and wash cloth for my daughter, and the front desk staff said it is standard to only have 2 sets of washcloths and towels and asked why he need another. He explained the room was reserved for 3 guests. She told the other team member to go get a washcloth. When she came back she only had a washcloth no towel. He asked her about towel. She proceeded to be rude, obnoxious and obligatory. Please train your staff with the proper training skills, so they can give the customers, professional satisfaction and support,communication and customer service skills

There was only one trash can that was in the bathroom. I will not be returning to the Court Yard again. Also I think instead of the B stro there should be some place for Continental breakfast.     I've stayed at this hotel a few times in the past and have NEVER had any issues like I did this time. The TV didnt work. The TV picture wouldn't come on. They changed my room and it looked like the shower floor had a bug and wasn't clean. So it was just very disappointing.

The only negative was we asked for rooms on the same floor. Not only didnt we get rooms on the same floor, 2 of the families that were with us was on the 3rd floor in a different building. There's no easy access from one building to the other meaning we had to go to down to 1st floor and walk around to the other set of elevators to get to our friends rooms or vice versa. Outside of that everything was good.

    When we first arrived the hallways were lined with bags of trash. However, they were later removed. The cabinet door was leaning down and the stopper in the sink was broken off. They knew we had three people staying and they gave us one adult towel and one mini towel. I must say the bed was comfortable.

    Terrible stay. Was fine the first couple hours but after that it was this knocking noise that wouldn’t stop and I reported it to the auditor and they heard it and said there’s nothing she can do. Called next day like she told me to and the manager refused to talk to me and told customer support I didn’t check out until almost 1 o clock which is a lie since checkout is 11 smh and I told them to check the cameras of the time I told them when I left. Manager did not help now taking it up with corporate.

    However, we had a roach in our room and the room furniture was very dingy with spots and stains. I definitely did not feel comfortable sitting on the sofa so used it to hold suitcase. There was no coffee table in front of the sofa. Also the room did not have a full length mirror. Literally had to stand on tables to see the other half of my outfit. I definitely would not recommend this hotel to others.

    I never write reviews, but I hope to save someone from experiencing this awful hotel. First, the receptionists acted bothered by the fact they had to check hotel guests in, or acknowledge anyone at all. The room was not cleaned, there was hair and dirt all over the floors/bathroom. There was no hot water in the shower. Ice machines were broken. The walls were paper thin and you can hear everything going on in the hotel. I have no idea how this hotel is rated 3 stars because I wouldn’t even give it 1.

    The staff was great but the hotel is moldy we were on the first floor and the first room we had was like a musty damp basement mold on the ac units and the room stunk. We quickly were given another room this room was better but mold on the walls and in the ac unit it was like sleeping in a tent everything was wet and damp really just a very uncomfortable stay for the price of the hotel. Showers wernt sealed so the water ran onto the floor soaking the bathroom which didnt help how damp and wet the room already was. Again not the staffs fault they were all very nice and accommodating who ever owns this location it needs something i wouldnt suggest staying here due to the mold and wetness of the rooms

    There is a laundry list of issues with this hotel. It smells. Theres poor ventilation. There moisture throughout the hotel. The elevators are dirty and floor is cheap and damaged. Damage throughout the building. Poor quality renovation and maintenance. Couldnt close my bathroom door, not enough clearance between toilet and door. Roaches in hall. Stairs damaged. Pairs of stairs discarded in the stairwell. Floors sticky from moisture in room. Shower has mold and erosion. Shower floor damaged. Shower door came off track and almost fell on me. No exhaust fan in bathroom. Entry door keypad finicky. Will never stay here again and would not recommend.

    Denise was so welcoming and friendly. She made me feel like I was home. She made sure I had everything I needed and made sure my accommodations were to my liking.     They tried to update the property by replacing carpeting with hard wood floors but don't mop them. My white socks were black and there was hair everywhere.
