Rooms are absolutely filthy. If everywhere else was not sold out I would have left. This is almost as bad if not worse than the motel 6 on Cline Ave. Dirt debris hair all over floor. Property has definitely gone down hill since they changed ownership

The bed was really comfortable. The pillows were so soft. I got some very good sleep. Checking in and out was fast and easy especially through the app. They were very accommodating since I wasn't there at my check in time due to traffic on the highway. The breakfast bar was decent and fresh. Thank you for having fresh towels to dry off with and having a bin to discard them in at the pool area. I would stay here again since it was inexpensive. I didn't like the BLONDE hair that fell out of the shower curtain while showering. Housekeeping should rinse them off when they're cleaning the tub as well. While brushing my teeth, the water was going down slowly due to a battery being stuck in the drain. To the parents that made their kids eat in the hallway instead of in the room with them, SHAME ON YOU! Even though the pool looked clean, there was some hair just floating around like it was on its own lazy river ride around the pool. I understand it is 'swim at your own risk' because there is not a life guard on duty, but it would be nice if someone came in to skim the water every once in awhile so customers don't see the hair floating around.

Not a great place to stay...especially if there are a lot of different events going on around the area.

The room had a strong marijuana smell upon check-in and appeared poorly maintained, with visible stains and wall damage. We also saw a cockroach near the rear entrance of the hotel. Since the hotel was sold out, we couldn’t move to another room. We stayed because it was only one night, but the overall cleanliness and condition of the property were disappointing.

If you are looking for a place to stay that does not cost an arm and a leg and is about 20 minutes from Chicago, this is your place. Floor was dirty, bathroom was dirty, everything was old and dated. Absolutely zero towels by pool. Gives 3 towels in room when you make a reservation for 4 people. Did not eat here so can't give any recommendations. Indoor pool was not heated, very cold. Understaffed. Repeat, understaffed. If you want no frills and just a place to sleep and take a shower, stay here. If you are looking for anything more, don't bother.

Location Had to switch rooms twice due to receptionist giving me an occupied room that I walked into (very scary). Then 2nd room toilet over flooded soon as I stepped in and flushed. Water was everywhere. My bags were completely soaked from the overflow of water since the closet is directly across from bathroom. And there was a bug in the bed. Terrible experience.

On the site it should state that they have changed their breakfast rules to waffles only Monday-Sunday. I've stayed before and they had a wonderful breakfast line up. Really was expecting to wake up to that meal and not only waffles. Honestly that's one thing that will make or break a hotel in my opinion. The quality of the towels are horrible. They remind me of a toddlers towel in size and are extremely thin.

The room looked nothing like the pictures. They were dingy paint peeling off the frames. The breakfast was horrible. All they had was waffles and cereal no meat no eggs. One of the doors to the side entrance had no lock on it just a big hole where the lock was supposed to be.

The staff was very rude to me and my children. I asked the front desk for two paper bowls and they told me that the breakfast area was closed and that they were not wasting their time going to get me any bowl because they were really busy. They told me that I was being rude for asking and that I was disturbing them I told her she was being rude and that I would come back for a refund on my room and she told me yeah right.

The property is good but I recommend if you book the hotel don’t book (travel insurance) never because my wife was very bad situation suddenly vomiting too much I called them but they just asked too much by call and they didn’t anything for my wife.

The staff was amazing though!! Especially the lady at the front desk at check in. She was training a new employee and she was doing a great job. I did not get there names but they were great!!!

Tons of parking and close to the highway. Pet friendly

Room was fine, first moring we were there housekeeping didnt knock before coming in the room. Also, asked front desk if someone can look at shower because it filled with water. Of course no one did everyday shower kept filling up with water, we moved the drain stopper just to make sure but that had nothing to do with it. Parking was ok and never used the laundry or pool.

The staff was very helpful and considerate. The hotel as a whole was not clean. There were dirty socks on the stairwell and the 1st room I was placed in was dirty and had blood stains on the linen. I was moved from the 2nd floor to the 3rd floor. That room was slightly better but there was a dog barking next room over from me. Overall for the price I paid it wasn’t too bad. Just need to do better job of keeping the place clean

Tv was broken in first room, we were moved to the next room and the doorknob to exit the room came right off the inside of the room when leaving to get ice. Was happy we didn't have an emergency (fire hazard). Did not want to be asked to move to a third room after moving our stuff twice. Room very clean and front desk woman was very busy and by herself but did a fantastic job checking us in and contacting maintenance. Maintenance was fast and efficient in fixing our door right away. One of the most comfortable beds I have ever stayed in while traveling, new mattress and comfortable linens and pillows. Clean stay! Very nice quiet stay considering we were there for work in the area and needed a good nights rest. Pool looked nice but it was a weekend and there was A LOT of kids and also did not have time to really check it out regardless. All in all, would definitely return and recommend. Area is a little sketchy but for the most part just fine for a quick stay.

One flaw was the breakfast

Washers and dryers need some maintenance. One washer is broken, and the other is leaking. Ice machines work, so that’s a plus. Just DO NOT STAY ON FRIDAY OR SATURDAY!! Large families come in with their children, and they are terribly loud. Screaming and jumping around all through the night and early morning. Cops came on multiple occasions. Front desk does NOTHING about it. And you can forget using the pool while they are there… the pool is packed with kids jumping off the sides and horsing around.

Staff was great. The place is decently clean, but the washers and dryers need updating. They don’t work well; one washer is broken, and the other leaks. Whatever you do, DO NOT stay on a Friday or Saturday. Large families come in for pool use, I assume, and they are EXTREMELY LOUD. Front desk does nothing about it, but the cops showed up on multiple occasions. We stayed for over three weeks.

Left for a concert and came back to our entire room smelling like weed. Woke up in the middle of the night and it smelled like someone was in our room smoking weed it was so strong. We truly could not wait to leave in the morning. Would not stay at this location again.

Our initial second-floor room was unusable due to loud music and marijuana odor. On the first floor, our assigned room door would not lock—a major safety issue. Instead of relocating us, staff sent maintenance, delaying resolution. Hotel policies were clearly not enforced. While we signed an occupancy limit agreement, many rooms appeared overcrowded. Groups of unsupervised children ran through the halls, yelling until about 2 AM, with no security present. Saturday night was worse. Both floors remained disorderly, and the pool area was overcrowded and unmanaged, resembling an unsupervised public recreation space. The environment also felt consistent with extended-stay/work-crew housing, adding to noise and lack of oversight. Marijuana use continued near guest rooms. We ultimately left because we did not feel safe. When we contacted the front desk, staff were dismissive and ended the call. This property fails to provide basic safety, security, or policy enforcement and is not suitable for business or leisure travelers. This property should be removed from Expedia.

I had a terrible experience! I had bed bugs crawling all over me!!!! With bites on my leg the next morning my hot tub was broken NASTY WORK!!!!! And the manager of the property will not call me at all for some reason! And all I asked for was a refund!!!!! But it’s cool you can talk to me now or we will definitely talk later!!!!!

Free parking. Breakfast was a waffle and an apple. The room had been remodeled yet still had many places with mold and shotty workmanship. The bed was clean and crisp.

The room was clean. However, the window leaked when it rained. The plug under the air conditioner was coming off the wall. The handicap shower handle was very loose. Chlorine from pool, very strong smell.

I was on the 3rd floor, and it was so noisey. Kids were running up and down the hallway. No carpet in the hallway, so it was quite loud. It seems people live there long term...bbq grills out back along the property fence, spousal arguements and banging on doors, people outside smoking at all hours while playing their car music very loud at 3am. You get what you pay for. The room was nice and clean, the front desk clerk lacked an ability to smile. The breakfast lady walked in the door at 7:01...breakfast was supposed to start at 7am. I will choose another option next time I am in town.

We had to switch rooms three times because the doors wouldn’t lock. Noise ordinance wasn’t enforced at all! There were people running and partying in the halls until 4 am. The walls are super thin and you can hear everything in the next room. I’ve stayed at Days Inn in the past and have never had issues like I have at this location.

Me and the kids had a blast a girl's night and morning of swimming we had a late check out that worked out great we were able to get back in the pool breakfast needs more TLC other than that we will be back boys night coming soon aww and it was a party of 8 we need more towels of course and front desk had no problem with assisting us...

There were a few things happening at the hotel that didn’t make it comfortable for the guest. One problem was fixed which was the heat. The other possibly could’ve been permitted but it wasn’t.

I encountered an ADA violation and ECA issues due to bugs during my stay. I was informed that if I was dissatisfied with the accommodations, I should consider alternative arrangements, after I checked in. Following a three-day stay, I received a call from the manager after I checked out. The front desk staff, in particular, the same agent on duty both nights, exhibited unprofessional behavior and declined to investigate or address the issues. This experience was utterly disappointing. As a retired hospitality executive with Marriott, I was astonished by the franchise owners' apparent lack of adherence to accessibility standards. The manager's inquiries regarding my desired resolution seemed misplaced, as I had merely sought an apology and a room change, neither of which were provided. This constitutes a significant failure in customer service.

The staff was amazing front desk was great they provided me with professional support and hospitality they also made sure I had clean sheets and towels daily!!! I had to extend my stay and they provided me with great service and the housekeepers were very helpful and made sure my room was clean and fresh!

The front desk Clark was very rude when I arrived. I was accused of smoking in my room that I hadn’t even really been in there. The security wasn’t any better. Talked to the manager the next morning but still didn’t get an apology from the guy or the security lady. I should I had just got off work and just sat my bag down in the room and went to the front desk. I asked for them to come to the room in which they didn’t and didn’t give an apology either. Other than that it was okay. I will find another hotel to accommodate my stay. This is unacceptable.

As soon as you drove onto the property you noticed that the parking lot had not been cleaned or plowed. The tv had bad speakers that would sound fuzzy randomly. The shower was very touchy, dirty, and the water was pooling. The breakfast included no eggs or protein which is pretty standard at most hotels.

Heat in room did not work properly. Had it up to 90 degrees and it blew only barely warm air. Ended up sleeping in my coat. Snack/water machines in lobby were all not working.

They charged $25 per day for pets but on the website it says per STAY! I don't like pop-up fees. The room itself was okay for the price. Washer and dryer were inadequate

My room was cold when I walked in. Had the heat on high for two hours and it was still cold. Call front desk. No answer went downstairs. She was not at the desk. The room never got warm

The room had some newer furniture, but there were paint splashes on the shade & floor. The fridge had multiple dents. It just didn’t look well kept. Someone dropped a soda in the elevator & the spill was still there the next morning, minus the wet floor sign & cup from the previous night. The hotel advertised “breakfast” being included with the stay, but it was actually just bread. Waffles, & off brand fruit loops. So we ended up checking out a day early & found a nice restaurant down the street for breakfast on our way home.

The people who claim this place is quiet are lying. This hotel is everything but quiet. I even asked to change rooms and they still put me on the first floor surrounded by noise. The rooms aren’t that clean and the pictures are misleading. They make it seem like the place is newly renovated. It’s not. Thus was not a good experience.

However, the reason we chose that specific room was for the jacuzzi tub. However it did not work. Pressed down the button, and it got stuck. Got it unstuck, and nothing. It was nice to have time away, but when I went for the specific feature, I would like for it to function accordingly. I just wanted to relax and enjoy time with my husband. And unfortunately the one feature did not work.

The toilet in my rooom did not work the time I was there(3days). Complained constantly to front desk, who stated that they was going to fix it. I had small kids with me and it is unacceptable to not have a working toilet. Will not be staying here again

The staff didn’t seem courteous. They were courteous excellent service on my day that I spent the night at the Days Inn in Hammond I was scheduled to stay the 29 I came in on the 28ththe 29th. I had a very good time.

had to park far away since they were repaving their lot. Wrong room was assigned initially and had to wait 30 mins for them to figure it out. Room was dirty and had to ask for clean towels. Received a call from front desk at 10:40pm regarding payment, even though card was on file and I had checked in at the front desk upon arrival. All very frustrating

Staff was pleasant. Big issue was we were asked for an additional $50 cash deposit when we checked in. This was not mentioned anywhere when we booked and we have never been asked for anything like this.

The floors throughout the whole hotel were filthy. Looks like they did do some painting, but overall not great value for the money.

All in all it was a good stay. Only issue was my door wouldn’t lock when I told them at 9 am and called around 5pm they hadn’t fixed it yet. But they did end up fixing it. Other than that everything was good

Indoor pool is great to have. They have a big room for parties like sweet 16 or quinceniera with big tables. Looks very nice. Small excercise room could be better. Rooms have small fridge and microwave also. Bathrooms are small but clean.

I really enjoyed my state and the only problem that I had. I had spiders in my room but that was fine. I killed him and also the front door was not locking correctly, but they fixed it right away. Overall, I had a great experience and the staff there, especially the cleaning crew, are very excellent and warm. And friendly, I would stay there again. I loved my room

My husband and I visit with Days Inn was very nice. Helpful and friendly Front Desk Staff, and friendly housekeeping staff. Their breakfast was nice! Nice clean hotel.

I liked it, although there were some annoying people who did that on purpose to ruin the hotel's reputation.

This stay was bad....the employees couldn't speak or i understand English, a lot of things in the room didn't work and was broken, and I got wkoen up, and told to come to the desk because I was suppose to be checked out, but I had extended my stay.

The air conditioner in our room did not work. Texted front desk and did not receive a reply. Website advertised Coffee Pots in rooms, there was not. The refrigerator in the room rocked, where it was not balanced. Each time you flushed the toilet it would squill horribly. There was not a continental breakfast as advertised. Shade was broke and very hard to put up and down. Was unable to park anywhere close to our room.

I booked for 5 people and my room only slept 4. Tried to see if more rooms were available and were not. I understand that. Asked if I could purchase a rollaway for my family member with no bed and they did not have any. So that person had to sleep on the floor. Went to the desk and asked for a pillow and blanket was told it would be about an hour. Only the pillow came. Requested again a blanket and was told it would be 30 mins this time. Hallways smelled like weed. Elevator was broken. My room was on the 4th floor. Breakfast was included but only had sausage and tatortots for hot item. No eggs. There was a waffle station that had a bunt up waffle stuck to it. Overall not a good experience for my family.

I will never stay there again. The property was old looking, no amenities, it was noisy at all hours of the day and night, my toilet made random water noises, not enough lighting in my room, towels were cheap and flimsy, the pool looked dirty, the cleaning staff spoke very little English, the TV didn’t work properly (sometimes the same program on several channels), I was told the cleaning schedule was Tuesday and Thursday but got disturbed on Saturday, Monday and Friday too. Not too much good to say about this property.

Entire floor was extremely muggy and hot, room was hot, AC barely worked. Room didn’t match pictures, tub didn’t drain, floor not the cleanest, ice machine broken, and the beds were uncomfortable and noisy when moving.

VERY budget hotel. The toilet in our bathroom was broken, even after maintenance came to fix it. Breakfast options were woefully inadequate. The room was not clean when we arrived and the entire place smells weird.

I was so unhappy with this day. The hotel is a renovation There was moved around the pool moved around the shower on the shower wall. It was rest inside the shower here in the tub dirt on the floor beside the bed here on the bed. The brushes area was poor. The breakfast they provided was nasty.
