This hotel stay was really good. It didn’t look great from the outside, but inside was nice, clean and quiet. The beds and pillows were so comfortable.
- 2/5
The location and the general cleanliness was satisfying. The first room sink was clogged from the first time I turned it on. The tv didn't work. I was told it would be fixed during the day but nothing was fixed. Also, the parking lot had people hanging out that were staying in the other attached hotel which seemed like a drug den.

Room was clean, beds were comfortable. The area is filled with tweakers! There is no security! There was a room across from ours where the hookers and pimps were up until the sun came up doing and selling drugs! The front desk guy accidentally coded a key to our room and gave it to a guy who thought he was going to the party room and he repeatedly tried to let himself in our room. He woke me up out of a dead sleep at 3am because the door kept banging against the security bolt! He ultimately picked up a duffle bag from the party room and left? Then the front desk offered us a late check out since I had a hard time falling asleep after dude tried to let himself in my room, but housekeeping tried to let themselves in at regular check out time. I called the front desk and told them to keep staff away until we left. However, when I was actively using the bathroom later housekeeping OPENED the door AGAIN! Thank god for the security bolt, that's all I have to say about that. Terrible stay. Hagerstown is infested with druggies that stay at the local quality in!
- 2/5
Not good. Both my room keys didn’t work. Very strong weed smell thru the 1 st floor. The front desk forwarded a crazy call to my room at 3:00. A.M. Very disturbing. Next room played tv loud all night, or maybe walls too thin. Desk person wasn’t helpful, since room was booked thru Expedia. Stayed 2 nights, one night ok, 2nd night was terrible. I checked out very early after little sleep. Obviously not a place I would recommend😩
- 4/5
Okay, you can find better, nicer, newer……but not better lit, easier to access, with any better staff, or breakfast….I had a nice 4 night stay and would go again without hesitation.
- 1/5
Smelled like an ashtray
- 1/5
I ARRIVED NO ONE WAS AT THE FRONT DESK SMELLED HORRIBLE USED THE LOBBY BATHROOM WATER WOULD NOT SHUT OFF. VERY UNSAFE I BOOKED ANOTHER HOTEL IMMEDIATELY. I WOULD NOT LEAVE MY CAR IN THAT PARKING LOT THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE CONDEMNED
- 0.5/5
It’s quiet despite being off dual highway There was a terribly pungent odor of marajuana. It came under the doors - literally everywhere! This is a no smoking hotel, that should be for all inhalants, not just cigarettes. Additionally the bedding, carpet, even pillows were old and disgusting.

The front desk manager was nice. I picked this hotel for 3 reasons- proximity to the Hagerstown field house, price and it was a completely smoke free hotel. Upon entering the lobby, the front desk manager was behind a complete plexiglass-protected wall. He was very nice and helpful. When we went to our room, the hallway smelled of marijuana smoke A LOT. The room smelled fine and the beds were clean. So at 11pm we decided to stay. It was relatively quiet but the marijuana smell was really bad. I told the manager and he was open to the feedback but did not go to the hallway to investigate. I breakfast was ok. The eggs were cold and sausage undercooked. I would not return.

Went to breakfast had to ask for breakfast meats on Sunday went down Monday to have breakfast nothing but cold cereal and burnt coffee nothing else will be served that day I was told needed the room clean was told that they do not clean the room but only when you check out there was mold in the bathroom and in the ice bucket the bathroom door was broken said they would come to fix it never came to fix it waited up for 3 hours and no one showed up can I get clean towels so we had to keep reusing the same towels and some of the towels were stained so I would not let my children use them not to mention there was a party going on in the parking lot Saturday night until 2:00 a.m. I didn't get no sleep and people were barbecuing outside my window at first I thought everything was wonderful until we started taking notice the little things that we were told would be taken care of but then when we couldn't get clean towels get the room straightened up get the trash taken out and it was no breakfast Monday just didn't feel it was worth it
- 3/5
Room was clean, but the breakfast ends at 9am on weekends, and there's no water anywhere. No water fountains, no water bottles, no water to purchase. Water fountains and available water would make a big difference
- 5/5
Yes pretty nice stay
- 5/5
Quick business trip
- 4/5
The room was clean but the facilities were a tired and the hallway rugs were musty smelling. Chair in room had stains. Bathroom sink faucet was loose and the hot water was non existent.
- 3/5
Parking was easy and accessible and plenty of it. Breakfast was excellent. Eggs, waffles, bacon. Very good
- 2/5
The area isn’t the greatest.
- 3/5
When I walked in room with my socks on they were pretty dirty from the carpet. Staff were friendly.

- 5/5
Very satisfied
- 4/5
The place is clean, however the smell in hallway freaked with smell of Marijuana
- 5/5
The bathrooms in some rooms have a sheet over areas of the tub and when you shower, water comes under the cover sheet. I didn't like the feel the water not going down the drain and being around my feet.
- 1/5
The property was one of the dirtiest I have ever been to. The bed and floor were covered in hair and other things such as dirt. I left 45 minutes after checking in due to the conditions. Would never recommend to anyone.
- 4/5
great room in excellent condition....kind of sketchy folks hanging around outside - otherwise good.....not sure what the deal was but never a great sign when the check in is behind glass!
- 2/5
Room smells like people smoked in the room
- 3/5
The staff was great. The sheets were dirty and the tub had rust stains.
- 2/5
The check in was pretty quick and simple. The hotel does have a mildew odor in the hallways. Once I got to the room, the same mildew odor was in the room. The bathroom had dirty floor tiles and dirt on the toilet. The window curtains by the bed were dirty also. It looked like homeless people were gathering on the property also. I can't give this place a good review because of these reasons. I will not stay here again.
- 4/5
Our stay was ok nothing to write home about
- 4/5
Broken toilet seat.
- 2/5
No amenities in bathroom Floors diety
- 2/5
Room was very old and tired looking. Would not stay here again.
- 4/5
Good for the price. Terrible water pressure in shower. Needs hand held shower wand
- 1/5
We had to leave in the middle of the night the cigarette smoke was too much for my allergies, was filthy too .
- 2/5
The hotel was much further off the highway than expected and was a little sketchy. Very Loud bar across the street - the Havana? No elevator and the room smelled funny. Bed was comfortable and we slept well.
- 4/5
Room was quiet, renovated, clean and easily accessible from the highway. Check-in was fast and there was plenty of parking.
- 3/5
Breakfast was awful. Rooms were clean.
- 4/5
Breakfast ok
- 5/5
Good value.
- 2/5
It was not a safe environment. Homeless and drug addicts all outside and inside hotel!! One of the homeless said to another homeless person, “look at those 2 motorcycles, we should come back and steal them later!” There were hairs in our tub and broken lampshade. it appears to me that this hotel is being used for homeless and girl’s with their tricks!! Did not feel safe here at all!! Only needed to stay here long enough to sleep due to splitting up a 12 hour drive home!! Will never stay here again!!
- 5/5
they have many cameras. I was a little concerned about our motorcycles but everything was well. Absolutely a great staff. Helpful and pleasant.
- 3/5
Hotel is average - okay for one night to stay. Had to call on a phone in the lobby to have someone come to the front to check people in - there were about 4 of us waiting. Room was nice and clean and bed was comfortable. Check out isn't until 11am but we had housekeeping knocking on our door beginning at 9am to see if we were there.
- 5/5
But they are trying. Check-in was quick and efficient. Lobby, bathroom, and bedroom clean. Bed was amazing. Sheets were soft, high quality. We slept well. We left early so can't comment on breakfast.
- 1/5
Smell of weed. Property extremely dirty. Not a safe area of town.
- 2/5
Didn't like the limited breakfast. Could do more for sanitation around food. Need to close containers that have food in them.
- 2/5
We were put into a room that had a broken bolt on the door, dirty tub floor, paint splotches all the place, painters tape on the closet door handle, stunk like Marijuana and window curtain did not close all the way. At breakfast, there was not enough breakfast food. When it ran out, the attendant gave an attitude about refilling the eggs and sausage plus would not refill the juice machine.
- 5/5
Front desk was amazing
- 3/5
The hotel is going thru renovations so it was in disarray and I’m surprised it’s open. Lots of things were visually unsettling and wouldn’t have stayed here if I had known. Wish them luck and speed.
- 4/5
The staff is friendly
- 4/5
Very good, clean and comfortable
- 1/5
No idea howb this property even got a single star. Connected to an econolodge. Parking lot super scary and full of trash. Vagrants outside hotel on the back side. Guy was friendly enough but property was stagnant, dirty and unkept. Our room was cold and the lock was busted off the door. We walked in and right back out. Terrible and very very scary. I wpyldnt have stayed even by myself, let alone traveling with two children.
- 1/5
This particular hotel was also used to house homeless people. It smelled like marijuana in the hallways. There were noises in the hallway that woke me up around 1am. The receptionist was testy at best. He had to be reminded to put the room number on the keycard. The “buffet “ breakfast room was filled with “unfortunate homeless” cussing, coughing and sitting against the counters complaining that there was no eggs and sausage and the like for breakfast. The OJ was watered down at best and room temperature. There wer 2 waffle makers there but no waffle mix. I felt very uncomfortable and repulsed. I left and ate breakfast elsewhere.
- 4/5
The smell of the hallways was undesirable. Room smell was okay. Back side entrance could be a little cleaner.
- 4/5
Facilities are tired and slightly less clean than I would have liked. But you get what you pay for. There were holes in curtains, shower had hair, a random sock on the floor and schmutz on the phone. My house on its worst day isn’t much cleaner so we didn’t make a fuss. Just glad for a place to sleep after a long day.
- 2/5
The room lampshades and dust they were not properly clean. The bathroom wasn’t clean using spiderwebs cobwebs in the corner of the room. When I looked out the window in the morning time I’ve seen hundreds of rat traps all over the property like it’s an infestation of Frances, which was very scary and uncomfortable for me. Staff did not say good morning. Did not get a smile did I Felt like I was in a slow hotel? I didn’t get a good sleep because I was afraid of my sore rat to come inside my room even though I didn’t have any food and I didn’t bring too many bags in here, but I was afraid I didn’t see any box or anything But yes, I did say 100s of rat traps all over the property
- 1/5
The place was intolerable due to a very strong smell of some sort of cleaning material or chemical of some kind. on the second day, we left and on the first night of arrival I went to the desk and asked that we be allowed to cancel the second night, and they refused. We left anyway, as my wife was highly sensitive to this awful smell, which went throught the whole building including our room. Staff would not budge on the refund. i wil never use a hotel in this chain ever again.
- 1/5
I stayed here for 6 nights in January 2025. Upon entering the hotel there was a foul odor that lasted my entire stay. The ceiling of the bathroom was dirty. There was NO house keeping services provided the entire stay. The toilet overflowed, they came fixed it, but never picked up the towels I placed on the floor to soak up the water!! It snowed approximately 3-4 inches my first night there and they never cleared the parking lot. Decor is old and outdated. The breakfast was all cold except for waffles you made yourself. Venting machines were empty and/or nonfunctional. This place is a dump. I cannot figure how anyone could give this place a good review; there good reviews must be fake. I do not recommend you stay here.
- 5/5
beds was super comfy and was overall pretty clean. actually had enough towels in room when checked in
- 3/5
Smell of pot smoking in the hallway that made us sick
- 4/5
I did not like that there was no elevator, no complementary bottles of water in the fridge. I liked that there were basic necessities in place , like fridge, microwave, and the ability to make tea. The room was clean and so was the bathroom.
- 4/5
Not sure why people are still announcing rooms numbers out loud. It would be great if they would not do that.
- 5/5
Check in lady was pleasant and room was great
- 5/5
Great place
- 1/5
Staff was okay, but the hotel was dirty, smelled bad, stained sheets, inexplicable wet carpet, garbage behind the toilet. It was super gross
- 4/5
.
- 2/5
Would not return
- 3/5
Dirty outside, parking lot was a mess. Smelled of marijuana in the hallway.
- 3/5
The hallways were quiet, but there was a strong odor in the hall and the room smelled of stale smoke even though it was a non smoking room. The shower leaked water at the side and the floor got wet. The bed was confortable.
- 4/5
This is great value for your buck. Staff is very very nice, it’s an older property and it need a bit of love and is not at a great location a bit far from the highway compared to other offerings, but the rooms are clean and the do have great room set ups. We go there all the time and we love it.
- 3/5
No refrigerator. There is a trail to apartments behind and the drug traffic behind is crazy. No elevator. Stairwell smells like pee. I work night about to get in the shower and get a knock at the door so no thank you and lady knocks again when I open the door (no fully dressed) she opens door all the way to check the locks. What?? Ma’am. Side door to building doesn’t lock. So all the drug traffic has access. But in a bind they are convenient.
- 3/5
The bed was comfortable. Other than that this place needs to shutdown and be completely refurbished. The staff was friendly and accommodating. But, this is really not a good place.
- 1/5
Breakfast was a joke cereal waffles that’s all. No pool no hot tub. The whole place was misrepresented by you. I have never ever been duped. I have dropped you.
- 2/5
While the staff was hard working and pleasant, the property was worn and threadbare. Everything seemed clean but old. The bathtub and sink didn’t drain well at all. I am glad I had friends with me (next room) or I would have felt uncomfortable in the area. One night was fine but I will not be staying there again.
- 3/5
The hotel needs to be cleaned, change the stale smell - the whole place smelled old, breakfast was very limited, night staff was unfriendly. To experience fighting guests with noise when we walked in was an instant disappointment - action was needed. Rust around sinks and bathtub. Hotel picture must show clean lawn, clean surrounding, clean nice looking reception.
- 4/5
room was decent
- 1/5
If I could give a minus 10 I would!
- 1/5
The property is nowhere near clean and they have roaches the staff is very rude and disrespectful
- 4/5
It was good that everything worked. Things were clean and in working condition. Breakfast was okay too!
- 4/5
Excellent customer service
- 5/5
Great Pkace
- 5/5
Beds were very comfortable!!!
- 2/5
Blood spots on bedding. Stained window blinds. Smelled like smoke even though nonsmoking.
- 1/5
Not family friendly area. Drug dealing in the evening.
- 1/5
the place was dirty and unsafe would not recommend to no one
- 3/5
AC Was making lot of noise. Breakfast was OK.
- 5/5
Awesome friendly service
- 1/5
Dirty, condemned rooms, rat traps in hallways.
- 4/5
Everything was great for the price that’s for sure. It was a good location for our late one night stay on our way back to break up the drive. The only thing I’d say was wrong was there was no hot water to shower! I had seen that in previous comments of travellers weeks ago and had hoped it would affect us. It wasn’t the end of the world!
- 5/5
Great hotel if u get there after 9 its hard to fine something to eat

I didn’t enjoy my stay
- 3/5
Very dirty and smelly hallway. Needs better upkeep
- 4/5
This property had very helpful staff.
- 3/5
Check in was quick and staff were friendly. Hallway needed cleaning. Room was clean but outdated. Breakfast was minimal.
- 5/5
It was fine
- 5/5
They need to do more options for breakfast.
- 5/5
Quality Inn and Econo Lodge are one and the same. Place is okay though. Nothing fancy- rooms were adequate and clean. Beds very nice and soft.
- 1/5
The homeless camp was right at the front door. The mattress was sagging. The proprietor were very rude and nasty. Wouldn't return my refund after a one night. NOT SAFE DO NOT STAY THERE!!¡¡!!!
- 5/5
Very friendly staff! Beds and pillows were super comfy. Check in and out was very quick!
- 1/5
Nonsmoking hotel smelled strongly of Marijuana throughout. Woken up out of sleep by fire alarm likely due to other guests smoking. Had to wait outside until fire department cleared. Mystery red brown stains on curtains bathrooms dirty.
- 4/5
Stay was good. Sleep was interrupted because someone smoked in their room and set off the fire alarm causing your guests to evacuate. Management figured out what the problem was and guest were allowed to return to their room.
- 5/5
There were kids running down the hall late at night which kept me up. I am guessing no elevator since the staff told me to take the stairs to my room
- 3/5
Decent beds fridge didnt work
- 2/5
good bed
- 1/5
Our experience at this motel has been horrible. The management has been very rude, harassing us by their derogatory and demeaning comments to us, name calling, and other unacceptable behavior. We were asked to change rooms and were placed from the front of the motel to the back which is also an Econo Lodge, and is very dimly lit and dirty. We had several relatives try to call us on the motel phone, and the management told them we had already checked out. The staff is very incompetent for a public business.
- 2/5
Very friendly staff. Old, old property but has been renovated. Groups of homeless with shopping carts were gathered in the courtyard outside our window. Tons of litter and rat traps everywhere. We didn't even bother with the included breakfast. The room itself was clean and the bed comfortable. We just felt we were in the poorest industrial area in the US.
- 2/5
First off my TV didn't work and the Manager only sd sorry never offered me a different room or at least the 40$ I was charged for early check in. So I just accepted it. Then I saw a roach and the man at the desk tried to tell me I would have to wait until 9:00 a.m. to change rooms there's no way I was sleeping when I saw roach. So then I asked for my money back and you try to tell me that I was never charged $40 for early check-in and I pulled it up on my phone and conveniently they had a different room for me. But then he had the nerve to say I already used the other room well you should have cleaned it better
- 3/5
. Hallway, smelled of pot.The grounds, had trash, everywhere, cigarette butts another trash along the parking lot. Breakfast bar, was far anything, to click your heels over. Nothing stocked. Not a lot of choices, to eat,
- 5/5
Great staff easy walk around. Places to eat within walking distance. Lots of shopping near by. Good breakfast bar and eating area. Parking great with our truck and RV. If spending time in the area it is in the historic downtown area. Very easy access off the hwy. Clean room and comfy bed. Thank you Shy and Pat. Would stay again.
- 2/5
All I can really say is that the property manager was courteous and it was an easy check in, room was tidy and no presence of bed bugs from what I saw. However, I did not feel safe lodging here and the odor of Marijuana was present as soon as I got out of the car in the parking lot. I could not get comfortable in the bed. The rate was reasonable which is why I went for it and was only passing through the area but would not stay again.
- 1/5
My husband and I were not impressed with this hotel. The lobby looked ok and the lady that checked us in was nice. But when we drove around to our room, things changed. There was garbage by the door we went in. A cup, plate and an empty bag of ice melt. there were also 2 rodent traps by the door and numerous ones along the windows in the building. As soon as we walked in there was a smell that actually smelled like marijuana and old smoke. It was very strong. Then we walked past a room that had a large bright sign that said the room was "Condemned and not inhabitable"... When we got to our room the room was not too bad but smelled like strong smoke when we were supposed to have a NON smoking room. The sink in the bathroom would not drain so had to brush my teeth in the bathtub. We did not even take a shower or go for breakfast. We just wanted out of there. The smoke smell was upsetting my stomach. The hotel need a lot of small things done on it and not sure how to fix the stale smoke smell. I did tell the man at the desk about the sink but just wanted to leave so did not mention anything else. We had to go and have breakfast some place else. Do not stay at this place......
- 3/5
Room was decent for the price, breakfast was poor.
- 4/5
We stayed in a newly renovated room. It was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was more than adequate and the service was very good. The price was right and we would stay here again.
