Roon was clean, some upgrades since we came last year. Noticed as we used the hair dryer, the base fell.off the wall and the vent fan in the bathroom didnt work. All in all still my go to decent place to lay my head for a night or 2.

The hotel itself is good but the breakfast was horrendous. The selection is EXTREMELY limited. The yogurt was spoiled and there was at least 1 carton that was not sealed. The English muffins were so hard you couldn't eat them. In the hot food area there was 1 cold hash brown pattie and 2 sausage patties that had clearly been reheated several times. Very poor quality compared to every other Microtel we have used. Definitely won't go back to this one. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Our hotel key stopped working twice. The second night getting back to the hotel room, the entire room smelt like cigarettes. I asked for a late checkout and was told no.

The room was clean There was no closet in the room. TV wasn't clear. No counter or shelf to put personal items in bathroom. Not much area or breakfast to choose from. The gentleman at front desk was helpful but the one there when I checked out could barely speak English and didn't understand.

The facility has just been remodeled and everything was new and VERY clean!!! The self-buffet breakfast was what you usually plus a waffle maker. The lobby was under construction and the help left the door open so you could see into the laundry room.

This was by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had. This hotel is a complete scam. I arrived at the hotel and it looked shut down. There was a dirty phone at the front desk to "call for service' which someone who was obviously living there came down after a few minutes to check me in. The lobby was full of construction items and had no air conditioning. All the windows and doors were opened in the common areas for airflow. I was given keys and went up to my room only to find it the most dusty, dirty and dated room I've ever seen. The carpet was ripped in multiple areas, there was debris all over it, the door was damaged in the bathroom, there was a screw on the floor and the phone was yellow and peeling. There was no working air conditioning in the room either so it was hot. I called booking.com and they said I was ok if I needed to leave. I couldn't have my mother in that hotel and that's what I explained to him. I handed the keys back to the front desk person and they said they'd refund the days not stayed. I've now had booking.com reach out to them multiple times for my refund and I sent over the photos and they declined the refund. I called them directly and they were speaking over me and said it wasn't their problem and hung up on me after I was trying to explain that they needed to do the right thing. DO NOT STAY HERE. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. They scammed me out of over $300 and I didn't stay one night. Also, I didn't realize this until I called today but the $50 hold they put on your card at check in won't actually be refunded to you unless you call and request it back. They returned the deposit to me but not a dime from the actual booking itself. I did not feel safe staying at a dirty empty hotel with the owners living on the second floor. I wouldn't have trusted to eat anything at the breakfast on site. Do yourself a favor and just stay elsewhere. Don't waste your time or money.

I was repeatedly asked how long I would be with the cart by multiple people back to back. I was told I could not take an apple out of the hotel that I had to eat in the open lobbies however I saw someone taking a whole waffle on the elevator to their room. I felt watched , when I spoke no one spoke back. Seems racist and as if I was being discriminated against.

Fine for a quick sleep while on a roadtrip but I’m not sure I’d stay longer. The breakfast did not appear appetizing so I skipped it. I went to use a bath towel and there were brown spots over it, so I did not use it. I notified the front desk when I left and they told me I should have called them, but I was walking out of the shower and was quite inconvenienced. Calling wouldn’t have changed the situation.

I reserved this room for one of our employees. Upon arrival to his room, he noticed cockroaches crawling up the walls (has video proof). Then, went into the bathroom and there was mold throughout the tile and on the floor. The front desk was able to move him, however, told him it would be an additional charge and charged him!!. Never again will I book this hotel for our employees!!!

I had an overnight flight delay and this was the closest, most affordable hotel. They are renovating the hotel, and that is visible with the materials showing as soon as you walk in. The breakfast wasn’t appetizing. There was one muffin, a loaf of bread with a toaster, cereal, old apples that were bruised, hash browns, and sausage patties. I ended up just eating a sausage patty and going back to my room. There was banging from around 7 am in the room next to me because of the renovation. I also called the front desk to see if I could get a late checkout, as I have a video meeting at 11, and they said they don’t provide a late checkout during the renovations. I’m here on a Tuesday, and this isn’t a town where rooms sell out during the week. It was a very disappointing stay.

This hotel is being remodeled, which is not mentioned in the description. There are dumpsters, storage containers and messy remnants of construction materials right outside the front door. The lobby is filled with even more construction materials. The floor that we stayed on was half closed off with plastic. I’m assuming the side we stayed had already been remodeled but was half new, half old. The appliances were dated, banged up and yellowed. The sheets had cigarette burns and the towels had holes in them. The breakfast was underwhelming. The however was very nice and friendly. I would not recommend this hotel.

Check in was confusing considering they send you a text message to upload all documents needed, then ask for them again at the desk. Half of the parking lot was blocked off. Breakfast waffles were NASTY, when asked, they said they put lemon in the batter. They tasted like the mix had soured. That's our go to hotel when we visit family, but may try a new one next time.

This hotel is absolutely disgusting. The room was dirty, the bathroom faucet had no cold water and the bathroom appeared as though it had never been cleaned. They also charged me twice for a deposit and have only refunded me for one. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

This hotel was clean or i would have left. I had a 2 day drive from NE to SC, so stopped for a good night's sleep. The checkin was slow. There were people in line for at least 20 minutes to checkin. I requested a 1st floor in the reservation since I was traveling with 2 legally blind people and a dog. They put us on the 3rd floor. The room is just as nice is how he justified this. Also that they had an elevator. I'm just glad that there was no emergency that night. There was a loud banging noise against the eall behind our heads as we laid in bed. I called the front desk. They told me it was the sound of people moving into rooms using the carts provided. I explained that the noise made our wall shake. Nothing was done even after the 3rd call. I finished my trip on adrenalin because I did not get sleep! They also tried to charge me extra for the 3rd person. I explained that I booked for three people. I did not pay. I do not typically leave bad reviews. I cannot leave anything but for this hotel. Its only saving grace was that it was clean.

Smelled bad, dirty and lock on door was nonfunctional. Staff didn’t seem to think this was much of an issue seeing as no effort was made to address this or service the room, for that matter. Some stuff sprayed, spilled all over the wall and a dirty q tip with god knows what left sitting on the desk chair along with crumbs, etc. Burn holes in sheets and room was 85 degrees on arrival.

We picked this hotel for great location right on I 81. Breakfast was very good, especially for a budget type hotel, with waffles, sausage, hash browns, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, apples. Our room was small and did not have a coffee maker or refrigerator. Be aware that if you call the number listed online, you get a service, not the front desk. I used hotels.com, and the final price was $25 cheaper. If you want to talk to the front desk, you have to wait for that option on the call or ask for it. I don’t know if they would give a better deal, but with Hotels.com you get the one key cash.

I booked a double bed but they changed it to a single and then charged me and my friends extra to change "back" to a double. The beds also had cigarette burns on them and the window curtains had wholes in them.

I guess you have to accept the good with the bad when paying a low price for a room for the night. While the service was friendly enough, and the bed super comfortable, the place (at least my room) is in real need of repair or remodeling. The photos were taken from my actual room #124 and includes wall dings, bath and toilet issues and an anchor on the ceiling to hold the shower rod. New roof, though. Now it's time to focus on the inside, folks.

Not clean at all. Will find any reason to keep your deposit. My daughter had dumped her crayons out on the bed and when she sat up they rolled and made barely visable marks as they rolled and they kept the deposit because "crayons stain". As a mother I have never had crayola crayons stain anything so i call bs. Wish I had pictures for proof but it was so insignificant i figured i wouldn't need pictures. But the spread out hairs on the ceiling of the shower must have been art. Also the lock on the window (which was accessible from the outside from other rooms) was broke. Will consider other options in future while traveling and suggest you do too.

The check in process was not good. When we arrived to check in the computer system was down and they couldn’t check us in manually. Told us to come back in an hour. When we return we were ask to leave a $50.00 cash deposit and they took our information manually. I had a $100 bill and They couldn’t make change. Had to go and make change.

We had to wait at the counter for check in, somehow my online reservation was canceled conveniently, they could accept me as a walk in for an extra charge. The pillows were very flat. We were given 2 towels for a room for 3 people. The A/C was controlled by them. Only coming on for 10 minutes every 3 or so hours so it was hot all night making it hard to sleep. The coffee tastes like dirt water.

We did not really enjoy your hotel. Our room 125 smelled musty and when my wife said something to the front desk clerk on duty Mon morning 23 Sep 24, the concern was dismissed with "...it doesn't get a lot of sun, there are a lot of trees." That's a ridiculous answer to a customer's concern. We chose Microtel it because it looked modern in the pictures and we did not need frills. In fact, it was worn and the franchise owners are obviously not aware of the quality standard a Wyndham Destinations / Rewards customer expects. Besides the sloppy paint job all over the chrome and stainless fixtures, they have no concerns or idea that the totally avoidable rust on the tissue cover could be easily made more presentable / removed with proper care. Someone who actually cares needed to supervise the appearance of the rooms.

When I checked in, the service rep was so ewgat rude and not very friendly at all. I asked if there were any decent places to eat and she gave me the name of a plaxe that doesn't even exist. The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night and when I asked if we should be evacuating, I was met with an abrupt "NO, it's fine!" The person staying next to our room had their TV up loud most of the night and when I asked the front desk to call their room to ask them to turn it down, nothing was done. I had a very long drive ahead of me the next day and I barely got any sleep because of the issues I jad to deal with in the single night I was there.

Then when I got to the room the air conditioning did not work. I did the normal checkout and to no avail. I called the front desk and the same person came to the room and told me that I pressed too many buttons and he just did the same thing that I did. He called support and they worked for 30 minutes to finally get it to work.
