There were storms in the area and the motel plus the whole block lost power. The young man working the guest checking did an excellent job taking care of everyone. He walked each person to their room and to unlock the doors.

Close to everything. Decent price. The bed was like an old sway back horse. To to retire this bed.

The employees we spoke to were all nice. They have an amazing photographer. The rooms and building are run down. In major need of renovations. The bed clothing all had stains on them. I asked for a clean pillowcase because mine had something strange on it but the employee told me he had none. The carpets were stained and worn. No fan in the bathroom. The mattresses were not great. We had a couch with pullout. My kid put the cushions back on and slept that way. That mattress was just springs. No way anyone could sleep on it. The room smelled funny. They weren't dirty but they weren't clean. Breakfast time was not posted anywhere I saw but we were able to eat. Bagels, muffins, waffles, yogurt. No eggs or breakfast meat. It was fine just not what we expected. I felt safe in the area. No issues there.

This said, the staff has always tried to help with things, been nice and as accommodating as they can. It’s just too far gone now and because of that attracting the wrong people and consequences.

Very clean and the employees were all so nice. Both the lady that worked the receptionist desk in the afternoon and Yobani that worked in the evening were super hospitable and helpful. Nothing. It was great! Will definitely stay here again next time we’re in Hagerstown!

Pet-friendly

This seemed to be an older hotel. I accidentally selected a handicap accessible room and we were left in that as it didn't seem to be very busy. The bathroom definitely needs some work. It wasn't "dirty" but needs updated/refreshed. The accessiblilty equipment that was in there should be updated/replaced. The room otherwise was fine. The breakfast area was large and stocked well enough. The staff was efficient and nice.

Rooms were dated but clean. Outside hotel the smell of weed was prevalent.

Clean and specious space

I come to Hagerstown a lot and I stay there. I bring my dog with me. And I enjoy the basement rooms that lead out to the back for people who have pets with them. But I must admit this morning. I was taken back a little bit because there was somebody in the breakfast area with their dog. I do believe that shouldn't be allowed. I would never bring my dog around someone's eating. But besides that, the place is great. Always very clean everybody's very helpful and i'm sure they'll stay there again

Do NOT stay at this hotel if you need a handicap accessible room. They recently purchased new beds and they're incredibly high and not easily accessible for someone with mobility issues. We booked two rooms and the bed in the regular room was much lower than the handicap room. Everything was out of order (pool, vending machines, ice machines) and the handicap parking spots and sidewalks had not been cleared of snow.

Shady place. Silver dodge ram dropping a girl or girls off multiple times before we laid down for the night and was the first thing I saw pull up at 6am when I pulled back the curtains. Pretty sure there’s some prostitution going on here. They continually parked directly next to my truck so I went to bed expecting to wake up to a broken into truck but luckily didn’t.

The staff was courteous, the room was good and big, the hotel pool is closed, has been for months... The hotel is a little out dated, but its worth the price you pay on Expedia.

We got no sleep as the person in the next room left his TV on loud all night. Got a bite on my foot while sleeping. Unsure what the source of the bite was. Breakfast was underwhelming.

The breakfast was limited compared to other hotel chains. The pool was closed. The room is in need of restoration. Bathtub was rusty.

Nice convenient location

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was adequate. My room was not very clean. I had a pet friendly room and the floor was dirty. The bathroom sink leaked underneath and the tub drain and sink drain were both rusty looking. The ceiling tiles in the bathroom had water damage. The carpets in the hallway needed swept. This room did not match the ratings that it was given online when I was booking it. I was very disappointed.

Staff was very friendly beds were decent room was clean. Bathroom was clean, except the shower had a lot of rust on the floor, and the walls had rusty metal coming out of them and the caulking was loaded with mildew dirt and grime.

Room was fine. Pet friendly. All pet rooms on lowest level. We had connecting room doors on both sides of our room. Nonsmoking g but was awakened in the middle of the night by the smell of marijuana. Very disappointed.

All of the staff was very amenable but seemed to have their hands tied as to what they could do to help. Wasn’t very happy with the knock on the door at 10:45 this morning asking if we needed to extend our stay (checkout wasn’t until 11).

Just got the room for one night and literally only slept there but everything was great except for the comfort of the bed.

The pool is closed for no good reason! The breakfast is at Covid19 standards, someone should inform them Covid is over. Thischotel has the worst cleaning staff I ever encountered, they spent from 9am to 11am on the phone and from 11am to 1pm doing not thier work. I asked for extra towels in English, apparently I used the wrong language...

Great service (pleasant front desk staff), but the furniture in the room was a little dated and the top sheets weren't clean on either bed. Save for that, it was a great stay. The continental breakfast has the usual options, but the dining and food area was clean and all the food was good.

Beds were comfortable and were clean although the room didn't smell very fresh, but not unbearable or anything. The breakfast could have improved, the ceral was stale and the waffle mix was pretty much empty but there were quite a few people. I dont want to complain but if there was any area for improvement, this is where it would have been appreciated

Just a great place to stay right on the outskirts of Hagerstown and right off the highway. My room was spacious and clean and cool. Everything worked, including all the lamps. I loved the mirror in the bathroom with excellent lighting for shaving and prepping. Friendly staff at the front desk as well. I would stay again and plan to!

This hotel gives you a motel experience. There's no reason to pay almost $200 a night when the room smells like mold. The pool is out of order, and the AC in my room has low airflow.

I stay here 1-2 times per year. The staff is always so welcoming and helpful. Even if it’s not the newest, it’s clean safe and very spacious.

Room was spacious, but the ac unit seemed too weak even on high to cool the room, which remained fairly humid and too warm to be really comfortable. The bed was clean, but the bathroom reeked. It smelled like a combination of sewage, urine, and severe mildew. It was honestly pretty nasty and I didn’t even want to put my toiletries in there. Other than that, the employees seemed very friendly and helpful. The building was kind of run down, but the location was convenient and the property was quiet.

There was a giant stain on our carpet and the fan in the bathroom was remarkably loud. The hotel itself was okay but the breakfast was lacking. It was fine for one night.

However, it was a dark room, no closet and the toilet did not flush well.

Police were in lobby when I arrived for stay due to disturbance in hotel. Trainee was at desk and the other employee was tied up with police. Was told there was housekeeping every other day. Got the card for room but trainee came up to my room because she only gave me card for one night and I was staying 2 nights. Trouble with toilet, curtains wouldn't close so the parking lights lite my room up all night. Pool is closed indefinitely, computer in lobby doesn't work. Reservation staff were not friendly. I would never stay at this hotel again

This place is very Dirty, smells like smoke when you first walk in. The room had a very musty smell in the bed is very uncomfortable.

The room they stuck us in was deplorable, it smelled like trash, there appeared to be possible blood stains on the sheets and curtains. I should've spent the night sleeping in the car.

Very very dirty - moldy bathtub, stained carpet, a lot of hair from previous guests in the bathroom (especially the bathtub)...stains everywhere, just dirty, ice machine out of order, pool closed, people hanging out and drinking in the parking lot for several days.

Ok for a 1 night stay. You can hear every sound from rooms around and above you. The curtains didnt close so the room got extremely bright in early morning.

I will not say he was rude, but that almost made his complete lack of caring worse. It was a restrained form of contempt for the customer. So our dog spent the night in the car, with us getting up every couple of hours to check on him and make sure he was OK. Thank heavens it was temperate weather.

No yogurt, fruit, eggs. Just over sugared baked goods and cereals, syrup and grey sludge pretending to be a form of gravy.

No pool!! Kids very upset. No hot tub. Stains on linens!! So gross!! Coffee maker broke. Pull out sofa only 4 inches from bed, so it didnt pull out! Will never stay there again.

AC unit rattled terribly& temperature gauge way off, but room was very clean, lower flow shower but water hot. Pool closed. Was decent place to stay, but needs some $$ for maintenance put into it.

The room was huge! This was totally unexpected 😲. The whirlpool tub was beautiful. There were some small things with the room that could have been done better (dust bunnies, sink drained slow and the plumbing in the bathroom was really loud). We will definitely be back. We had a wonderful time.

Property dated

I have booked many times with Expedia and on this trip, we stayed at two Comfort Inns with similar experiences. In both cases the stay was rude and very unhelpful. In future we will steer clear of the chain.

When we opened the door we could smell an odor. The room was old and not very clean. Things were rusty and old. it looked like some water damage by the shower had attempted to be repaired but it looked terrible. The shower water pressure was good but the towels were not at all soft. we won’t return to this hotel.

The bathroom needs to be updated. It’s rusty. The lamps were falling apart. No wash cloths. Paid too much for a place that was dirty and the pool wasn’t open.

We had to change our room because we were right next to the ice machine but other than that the bed was comfortable and lots of pillows!

The common areas were relatively clean. However, the room they gave us was in very poor condition. It smelled musty and the walls were in very poor condition. The hem of the curtain that touched the AC unit, was disgusting. The sheets looked clean but had some hair on them. The comforter, which was white, had many stains. I couldn't tell if they were permanent stains or it was just dirty. Very bad experience.

The internet doesn't work. The shower is lukewarm. Because travel with our dog were put in the basement

Cleanest hotel I’ve been to in Hagerstown. My only issue was the faucet in the tub was broken. The breakfast needed more variety too. Other than that, the place was spotless and quiet. Front desk staff very friendly.

The good: The beds were very comfortable and I slept well, the rooms were large and spacious, plenty of parking, front desk staff was friendly, convenient location, hotel breakfast was adequate. The bad: My hotel room needed serious updates. There were old stains on the carpet, the desk chair was broken with duct tape holding the upholstery together and the seat raise/lower function did not keep the seat in place, there was a big clump of hair in the bath tub, need to refurbish the entire bathroom. I could hear everything in the neighboring room: a barking dog, the TV, every flush of the toilet, the young kids, the room air conditioner was not powerful enough to cool the entire room so everything felt warm and damp in the room on the first day. The ugly: The elevator was broken, the swimming pool was closed for maintenance, and the soda vending machine was broken. The price was good, but you're getting what you pay for here. The place needs improving and updating. Fix the darn elevator for starters!

I have stayed at this hotel in the past while my oldest daughter played travel softball...so its been many years since we have been there...they have remodeled and the rooms were clean, the staff was super friendly and they have a great breakfast. I highly recommend.

The rooms are a little dated and dim, but I appreciated that everything was clean. Breakfast is basic, but as expected for the price. Only complaint is the smell of smoke in the hallway that managed to creep into the room.

Linens were stained and looked dirty. Room had a pungent smell.
