Clean pool. Clean room. Comfy bed, I like the firm mattress. Breakfast was your standard cheap as can be free breakfast. Microwave heated egg patties, sausage patties. Biscuits but no gravy. Walmart brand yogurt cups. Coffee tasted burnt but it was just whatever brand they used. I've had excellent breakfasts at other hotels. Not talking about the Ritz fancy places, just the basic travel hotel. So they could do better for breakfast at the same cost for a room for us.

I booked this hotel because I needed 2 rooms and it was affordable. I didn’t expect the rooms to be on par with the ones at the Tru hotels. Similar set, only this place was honestly cleaner, well maintained, and the service staff was amazing from check in to check out. Wish I remembered their names.

It was an overall decent stay that I enjoyed. The room was decent; wasn’t spotless but clean. The bed was comfortable, the shower water got hot quickly, and the breakfast was decent—I liked that it was more than just bread and fruit for a two star hotel. It was a great price for a very decent stay. I would return. The only negatives were the side of the property that I was on and the internet access. My room faced the pool and the lights from it at night were very bright that it interferes with my sleep the first night. The curtains could be wider to help reduce the light from outside. The Wi-Fi was also spotty, but I didn’t get the premium so I’m sure that’s a reason.

Shower instead of tub was very nice! LG room. Lots if lights. It was a super designed room-no stupid won't use furniture. No closet-made the room larger, who needs a cloaet-waste of space. Some designer w a brain did this room w the traveler in mind. It was within walking distance to a few fast food places. The two girls are the desk were nice and friendly. Couldn't eat the breakfast. Sausage was swimming in grease. They need a small rack in there to keep it out if the grease-nasty. Very plain Jane breads. A variety of bagels, not those plain boring ones would be nice like the other hotels.

Despite this, the information was not communicated to housekeeping, and three different housekeepers subsequently knocked on my door. This lack of communication was frustrating and made me feel angry, as it disrupted our stay and could have easily been avoided.

The TV messes up after being on a channel for more than 15 minutes.

We were here in 2020 and I think they remodeled since then. We only stayed over night this time, so we didn't use anything other than the room and breakfast this time. Elevator is the most common way to travel amongst the 3 floors. Overall a good stay for the price! If we ever go back to Augusta, then we'll be staying here again! :)

I'm glad the breakfast options improved. No more microwaving frozen croissants I did not like the transgender man working there dressed like a woman, especially the crop top. I believe people need to check their personal identity at the door. Not everyone finds it brave or inclusive. Also, the linens were kind of dingy. Bleach is your friend.

The bed was comfortable. The location was perfect, close to everything I needed but still relaxing and private. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and friendly place to stay.

I stayed with my daughter. We didn’t realize the door didn’t shut and lock automatically until the next morning (luckily we ensured the deadbolt and slide lock was on). When we left to get breakfast, we noticed that the door wouldn’t shut completely and lock even when we pulled on it. The manager came up right away to look at it. She offered to change our room, but we weren’t staying another night anyway.

Was told to park around the corner to get close to the elevator for my handicapped mother. However, when we parked around the corner, there was no easy access, and as my mother used her came to walk in the door she fell.

We took a family trip to Augusta for the weekend. The hotel was quiet, clean and accessible to all we wanted to eat/visit. Would stay here again.

Property and staff were excellent. Room, bedding, bath/shower were pristine.

We booked this hotel for 2 reasons; they had an in room hot tub and a bar/restaurant onsite. We paid $40 extra per night for the 2 nights for the hot tub room. The pictures on expedia looked great. However, when we checked in we learned the bar and restaurant was empty for renovations, and the hot tubs had been removed from all the rooms. Unfortunately, we couldn't switch to another hotel due to the basketball tournament in town. Also, the pool was "open", but not really accessible due to the pool area renovation. Workers were sanding and painting the railing, which was just a couple of feet from the pool, so we would've been covered in paint chips. The hotel manager said they've told expedia repeatedly to remove the pics of the hot tubs and to list the bar as closed for renovation but they haven't done it. When i called expedia, the rep said they didn't see a hot tub room option, even after i pointed him to the specific room booking and the third pic of the hotel clearly showed the hot tub. He contacted the hotel to verify these options were not available, he informed me that the contract disclaimer I agreed to stated that expedia is not responsible for amenities not being available. I asked if they would at least credit me back the extra fee I paid for the hot tub room, expedia was firm that they would only give me a one key credit that was less. I was a loyal customer for over 10 years, but this is by far unacceptable. I'll look into other travel sites next time.

The hotel being remodel was nice but there were a few issues with the doors . First the front entrance door was single wide and not automatic made it hard to bring in and out luggage along with they lock the front door with no way of entering/ exiting with a key card. To exit after 11:00 pm you had to walk in the dark around the building to reenter the hotel. If you wanted to go to the exercise room you had to go to the front desk to be let in due to the fact it had no key card lock. The issue with the pool was no entrance attacked to the building at all, you had to go into the parking lot to enter the pool, with no pool towels available to us. Breakfast was continental and that was fine. The room its self was nice and those towels provided in the room were excellent.

Hotel pics need updating. Picture shows full size fridge, large counter and coffee pot, none of this was in renovated room. Lots of spiders and the drain in shower was gross, we had to clean before using.

the workout facility was a joke - there is a treadmill that the band is loose and slips and the bike was not operational at all. The check in person had to redo my room cards because they wouldn't open my doors. There were a handful of people just hanging around the grounds. Just not a pleasant experience.

A perfect stay!! Went into town to spend a day at the Masters, stayed 2 nights at this wonderful hotel! Very pleasant and courteous staff! Everything was clean and made me feel welcome! Bed was comfortable, breakfast was your average free waffle/cereal/fruit bar, housekeeping was very attentive and remebered any requests I made. Even when i checked out we forgot a blanket we had brought with us and she came and got me from my car to let me know! Not many places care about people and customer service, this one certainly hits the mark! The price was a bit high, but totally understandable during the Masters! Stay was worth every penny! I will be staying again next year when I visit again!

We were stopped by Columbia County police for walking from inside to our vehicle. They said it's a bad area and high crime traffic at this hotel. Not a pleasant stay. After the 6-7 officers left it was pretty embarrassing.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. I have to book hotels in this area every week and this is where I will be staying. It cost more than others but like they say.. you get what you pay for.

Privacy curtains had been removed, restaurant closed even though it was Friday night 9:00, breakfast cleaned up before 9:00 a.m., cars squeezed in parking area where there was no room to move, light outside window shining in with no curtains ( others could see into room), and hvac unit only on air, even though it was 45 degrees. This property has clearly been sold or is going down—-always enjoyed it before. Have stayed many times in the past, but may not again.

Front desk gal was super friendly. Room was clean but the carpet seemed a little old. Breakfast until 9 even on weekends was hard, coming from the west coast. Sunday morning, Hubs and I went down to grab some breakfast at 8:30. There was one biscuit, one sausage patty, and a little gravy if you scraped the pan. No one around to see if they were going to put out anymore. So I went to cracker barrel across the street.

It’s close to everything you could possibly need! It’s about 10 minutes to the South Carolina border so we had dinner there one evening. We even brought back leftovers because our room had a large refrigerator and microwave! Everything was clean, beds comfortable, AC worked great.

Room was clean, spacious, & comfortable. Hotel spaces clean & staff friendly. Nice breakfast. Could not ask for better.

The hotel is at a very convenient location near the highway. Although we didn't take advantage of the restaurant, in the building, we would have used it if arrived earlier. I like it being close to Cracker Barrel.

Clean. Nice breakfast. Good location. Little noisy at first (could hear people out in parking lot) but not bad. Got to sleep just fine and slept through the night.

For some reason the company that I used to make the reservations didn’t work out and after an hour of trying to get a hold of them, out of the kindness of her own heart she use some of her own points She is definitely one that should deserve a promotion in the way that she manages the office during a crazy night. I would say that you definitely have a competitive edge because of her ability. Also, I appreciate having an extra clean motel especially during this corona virus.

Staff was super friendly. Room was very clean. we only asked for towels one day and just used them over the next couple of days. Being a once upon time housekeeper myself, I lived for those rooms that were customer maintained.

We left a special piece of pottery. We called the hotel they found it and held it until our return trip 4 days later. They were so helpful and friendly!

Exceptional service. Clean rooms. Excellent free breakfast. After staying at other hotels in the last few weeks that failed to do even the small things, including no breakfast and no daily housekeeping, it was refreshing to enjoy a hotel stay that reflected a caring attitude.

The hotel was ok. Not the nicest that I have stayed in but the staff was nice and the rooms were very clean.

Not a very good experience at the Baymont. First time staying at this chain and this will be our last. The front desk person was not wearing a mask, hotel didn't "feel" clean. we kept our luggage in the car and slept in our clothing on top of the bedding. Very small area for "breakfast" tables (3) of them, were way too close to each other. Hotel is very dated. We can say this Baymont was cleaner and a bit more safer than the other Baymont that our other Family members had booked(near the expressway). They ended up cancelling their reservation after they checked in to find the Television on, cigarette butts on the floor, stains, broken chair, drug activity outside their window and a bug crawling across their pillow! Overall bad experience for us at this chain. Never again...

Super friendly staff, will definitely stay again!

When I walked in, I was greeted by name (we arrived late). The hotel lobby is small and nothing special, but everything else was great. Room and bathroom was impeccable clean, spotless & large, bed was comfortable, and the free hot breakfast exceeded expectations (fresh fruit, biscuits and gravy). I don’t regularly write reviews of work and family commitments, but this quiet hotel made a lasting good impression. Thank you for going the “extra mile.”

Stephanie (check in) and Rhonda (check out) were very nice. Great breakfast! Comfy bed and the shower has great water pressure. Overall, I’d highly recommend for the price.

Horrified. The room had roaches. I checked out ASAP and the lady at the front desk wasn't concerned about the reason I was checking out early

The hotel was one of the CLEANEST we have ever stayed in!! When we checked in the young lady was very nice and pleasant.The continental breakfast had a good variety.I DO NOT like the fact they take a copy of your license and keep that for their records☹️

Had a great stay here! Our room was very conveniently located to the ice machine and parking lot. There were a lot of available eating options as well.

On-site restaurant was closed all weekend, guess because of Covid, but they could have had customers!!

It was great. It was 10 time cleaner than i expected. The furniture is updated. The beds were comfortable. The front desk staff were great. Ill be choosing when i go back.

This was my second trip here within a few weeks time. As of yet, I haven't had a room that smelled of cigarettes, or chemicals used to cover up that smell. The breakfast offered is a little lacking, with only about three selections of hot food, (biscuit, gravy and mystery meat) and a waffle machine. There was yogurt and pastry. However, it's across the street from Cracker Barrel! The mattress wasn't the most comfortable I've ever slept on, but it sufficed. Overall, this has been my favorite place to stay in the Augusta area. I will return next week for another 2 nite stay, since I know what to expect. Oh yeah, they really need to upgrade those TV's. They are LED, but small with an even smaller picture. Channel selection is great. Wifi is outstanding. See ya next week, guys!

We got in late and there was someone at the desk. I don’t have to look for anyone which was great. Missed breakfast but the stay was pleasant. They were accommodating.
