The air conditioner was very loud when it kicked on. It made loud knocking noises right before it came on. So if you're a light sleeper like me, that is a problem. No problem if you're a deep sleeper. The mattress was broken down at the top, so our upper body slanted downhill. I'm sure if I had said something about the mattress, they would've replaced it, but we just slept with our heads at the foot of the bed.

Our room was just okay. There were a few issues I had. Specifically I really hated the shower. There was no handle on the inside of the door of the shower so you couldn't close it without gripping the top of the door which was difficult for me, I'm only 5'3". Not sure who designed that! The staff was lovely. The traffic noise was really high even with the blinds closed. The breakfast was decent enough, nothing to write home about. I liked the location, it was central to a lot of stores and cool places. The beds were fairly comfortable but I ended up going out and buying a comforter because the provided one would not stay put at all on the bed. The pool was fairly cold and not attended, some towels sat there for a few days. But it was still very pleasant for the kids and always empty. Nothing fatally wrong. Would recommend for a good price.

The rooms were clean. The property was nice. The breakfast was fantastic and I must say that the shower head and pressure was on point.

Good breakfast, awesome staff but there were ants on the floor we stayed in... most likely from the stuff people were leaving in the hall. Our lock had to be changed which was taken care of right away. Pool was clean! Great place to stay and would stay again!

The accommodations were what I expected for a 2 star hotel, except for the smell that met me when I walked in and continued in my room. It smelled like incense to me and I get headache from incense. Thankfully, I didn’t get a headache and it was only one night. Otherwise, the staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was decent. The smell I mentioned already.

Never stayed at a Tru before. Very interesting, modern property. Lots of personality! Wonderful lobby and dining areas with spacious comfortable seating. Room was small but immaculate and comfortable with excellent large TV.
