The outside was a bit dodgy but no worries really. Room was clean for what it was. The AC worked and was needed. I needed a crash pad for 2 days and it met my needs and budget. I'll probably go back next year.

Rodeway was actually sold out when I arrived so they sent me to one of their other properties Super 8 down the street

You get what you pay for. Both the property and the room were dingy, dirty, things were broken, etc. Room smelled like cigarettes after we requested a nonsmoking room. Staff were very friendly and nice.

Bed sheets, carpet EVERYTHING was nasty.

My stay was fine for the low price but the general condition of the hotel inside and outside was not to great. My room was as clean as it could get but the carpeting was very old and in poor condition, the bathroom was ok except for the missing toilet paper holder and the remote control wouldn’t control the tv so i had to use the buttons on the back of the tv use it. But it was the cheapest option around and that made it worth it for me since I only used it for 15 hours.

My reservation was changed without any notice. When I went to check in the informed me that they had a new system and that my reservation was changed to the next day. I would like a full refund. I had to leave and book a room somewhere else. Very unacceptable!

Sorry but is nasty place blanket dirty really bad experience, keep in eye do better service because in the photos when you do the reservation is not the same.

I show up to the hotel and the staff says “we don’t have rooms available “ and the system move my reservation for another day. The staff never help me. The hotel look dirty.

The only plus side to the hotel was that the air conditioner worked and there was a bed to sleep in. Other than that, the floor was disgusting and had a weird film feeling on it. You had to push hard on the handle to get the toilet to flush. The shower had no stopper so it kept filling up with water and would take all day to go down. There was only 1 single working light in the room (like literally 2 of the lamps were missing lightbulbs). My smoke free room REAKED of smoke. The toilet paper was empty. The sink also had to plug so god forbid you drop anything down there. The lobby smelled like marijuana the whole time we stayed. We literally left a day early because we would rather spend 2 hours in traffic then spend another night in that hotel.

Great place. We love it. Was the best place to stay when you come to visit Connecticut. Don’t waste time looking around just come this confortable suite to having a good rest. Thanks so much. It was worth it.

Everything was dated and the bathroom was disgusting. Will not stay here in the future. I do not recommend.

There were gnats flying around in the 50-something degree weather and the water damage around the door/windows were extensive. I was in such disbelief at the condition that after driving 6+ hours - arriving just before midnight - we left immediately and checked into a local hotel instead. I returned the key the following morning, no one was at the desk — said hello several times, before someone who looked like they were napping came out and told me to leave the key. The stay was originally from Friday-Monday, and we returned the key before 11 am the following day (Sat).

close proximity to foxwood casino. friendly staff. clean room. great price stairs to second floor. no elevator

I have never given a poor review before. I could not get a hold of the front desk for three days before stay. There was a leak in the bathroom ceiling and the front desk staff was not there. The room smelled damp. The carpet was coming up. The only good thing was the price.

I didn't do my homework and read reviews before I booked. We just needed a quick place to stay after an event nearby and the price was right. The woman who checked us in was nice, but emphasized that "there are cameras everywhere." We were running late, so tossed our bags in the room (after going up soggy, filthy stairs). The room has one working lamp, a completely worn desk chair and stained carpet. No TP on the holder in the bathroom, remnants of stickers all over the wall, and mildew. While the sheets appeared clean, my daughter found hair... the thinnest coverlet imaginable and no blankets on the beds. A/C had been set to 61. After our event, we decided that we could not stay there, and ended up just grabbing our stuff and going elsewhere. The place really needs an update or tear down. Would not recommend even for just a quick stay. really filthy.

Dirty carpet, Noise from trains at night, People above me were loud and walk and noisy. Weird situation where I believe the receptionist and couple of guys banged on my door yelling security and when I opened the door they asked me if I have somebody else in the room but at least they apologized for their action.

For a low budget place rooms are always clean... They are trying to update the place. Staff is always friendly..

The property seemed past its prime. The bed was comfortable, and I slept well. The carpet was dingy. The staff was helpful. The air conditioning worked well.

Everything was fine but the mattress needs to be replaced ( worn out). But overall I would stay here again.
