enjoyable pool/hat tub.. helpful staff getting my boarding pass since the lobby computer was in repair... convenient shopping/restaurants nearby ..definitely will return
- 4/5
The room was spacious. More than enough room! The beds were hard, ran out of coffee both mornings and the staff had to be told about it. Ran out of waffle mix an hour before breakfast was over and the lady working the front desk didn’t look like she wanted to make more. Decent stay though! I will be back!
- 3/5
The breakfast exceeded expectations. The sofa bed was acceptable. The beds were very comfortable. It was quiet. The residents were well-behaved. The pool and spa were warm and well-maintained. Pet friendly. Condition of the room is what bothered us. The hole in the bathroom door, the peeling paint along the floorboards, the filth along the top of the bathroom door frame and in the grout of the bathroom tile, the missing molding near the sink area, and the broken hair dryer all took away from the overall feel. No ramp for access in the back of the building. No shower safety bar kept us from being able to use it. We really needed an ADA room.
- 4/5
I liked that the room was decently sized. Lady up front was wonderful Lots of damage in my room. It’s a dog friendly floor so I get some of it. Bed was old and blown out
- 1/5
Wasn’t clean and wasn’t properly refilled for my stay.

I did not enjoy my stay. The room was loud with people yelling right outside every night all night I felt. Also there were homeless sleeping in parking lot so I felt unsafe.

The room was clean and spacious. Close to restaurants and airport.
- 1.5/5
poor, just absolute minimal. No decaf, no meats, no eggs, just waffles DIY. Clean but really bare bones. Serve a decent breakfast. Halls seemed to be not swept but room was clean

Pool and hot tub were nice and clean. Room was decent. Breakfast available every day is always a plus.
- 5/5
Overall the stay was good. The one exception would be the bathtub that hasn't been cleaned in a while. My spouse used a white wash rag to wipe it down and the rag was a different color by the time she finished. Other than that it was pleasant
- 3/5
Room was dirty, with cobwebs in the corners, mold in the bathroom and musty smelling. Staff wasn't great and breakfast might as well be at the McDonald's next door. We did have new towels!
- 5/5
Room was clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Pool was clean. Overall great stay for the money spent.
- 5/5
Breakfast was good and fresh.

TV didn't work and there was no chair by desk.

Room was clean, staff were pleasant and helpful, breakfast was sufficient. Location of hotel was great. Lots of restaurants and activities close by.
- 3/5
The front desk guy had his feet upon the desk and did not stand up til the very last minute to deal with us. He was not friendly at all. The room was fine. When we checked out the next morning a different guy was out on the couch in the lobby. He said we were good to go then asked my husband if he had a cigarette. Not professional at all.
- 3/5
Breakfast was not fresh. They running out of things.
- 1/5
Just the location Well I found loose change, like coins in the bed which to me means they did not change the sheets. I also found a Tupperware lid in the room as well so the room itself probably was not cleaned well at all. Also the pool was slimy. Along the bottom you could visibly see the gunk in the bottom of the pool. The "hot tub" was bearly warm enough to call it bath water... the water in the hot tub felt slimy. For the room I stayed in... it was a "mobility room" I couldn't fit my walker to the other side of the bed because it wasn't wide enough between the foot of the bed and the small dresser thing.

I needed to stay the night somewhere in a pinch as it was a rough day of air travel, it was late and I had a decent drive ahead of me to get home. This place was what you might expect for the price. It was quiet, Bed was clean and comfortable, Bathroom was clean but run down. Floors in room didn’t look clean? I Would have appreciated lotion as most of my toiletries were still in my suitcase which was delayed in arriving. Over all good though.
- 2.5/5
Bed was extremely uncomfortable. Staff was unfriendly.
- 1/5
Not very nice
- 2/5
Dirt on bed spread. Clogged sink. It was super loud all night from someone’s TV and people talking. Tv volume didn’t work in our room. No hand towels in room. No soap to wash in shower. I will not be staying there again
- 2/5
The best thing was the bed. It was comfortable and I was able to get a good night's sleep. Most other things were very dated and in disrepair. The hot tub was a warm tub. Breakfast was very limited.
- 3/5
I didn't try the breakfast would rather go out to a sit down place when on a trip. The room was clean but had a strong chemical smell like a cleaning agent. Bothered my allergies.
- 3/5
The linens had old stains. Our phone didn’t work and when I went downstairs to tell the clerk, he said they would take care of it, but no one ever came. The walls had hardened stains like splattered old food, and the room was only partially vacuumed. It also smelled very bad. We finally discovered it was old coffee left in the coffee machine.
- 4/5
Good, clean room, coffee pot did not work, ask several times to replace it.
- 3/5
Property was a bit run down. Looked more like a motel 6 than Days Inn.
- 2/5
Not as safe as expected
- 5/5
Clean room
- 2/5
This was a huge disappointment. Hallways needed to be swept. The room had a cockroach. The bath tube not cleaned. A squished spider left in it with some hair. Staff could have been kinder. They should try to smile. Breakfast was ok but the tables were never wiped off.
- 3/5
The room was clean but we found small ants around the sink area. Breakfast was okay but mostly was carbs.
- 2/5
The staff was great, but the room itself the refrigerator had mold in it the swimming pool smelt really bad. Also, there was no working fan in the bathroom when we took showers.
- 1/5
Room was dirty . Desk chair should be in the city dump.the TV remote control was sticky to the touch . The desk and tv cabinet had a sticky substance on the top surface . Carpet wasn’t vacuumed .
- 1/5
Never ever again aholes
- 5/5
I had no problems, the staff was was amazing and very accommodating, and helpful.. very clean,my room was very comfortable.. thank you for you 5 star hospitality..
- 1/5
Words absolutely cannot describe how foul the help was and with the barking dog terrible breakfast and unclean room was less than a star
- 1/5
Shower curtain riped, water all over floor. Hair dryer burnt up. People in room next to us was banging around until 1:30 then again at 5:30 am.
- 5/5
Very good just need better food waffles were plain n didn't taste that great
- 1/5
Black mold in the bathroom was asked multiple times about paperwork on my service animal which goes against ada regulations. Was accused of smoking in room after asking about a pair of glasses i lost there then they attempted to charge me 150 for this which i never even had cigarettes in the room. Was woke up at 2 in the morning because the night guy refused to let my husband come to the room since he didnt have his id on him after a week of staying there knowing he was staying there as well
- 3/5
Yes was nice even with the crazy windy weather
- 5/5
Clean room and helpful staff
- 2/5
The rooms were not very clean, the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash containers in the shower were empty.
- 2/5
Breakfast was bad. Eggs tasted a bit funky. Waffle was flavorless. Pool was cold and hot tub was hardly even warm
- 4/5
I appreciate the carpeted room in Dec/Jan
- 5/5
Clean room and friendly staff.
- 3/5
Everything was just fine
- 4/5
Room was in decent order. Staff was accommodating.
- 4/5
Clean and tidy room and the gal that checked us in was very accommodating.
- 5/5
Front desk was friendly and helpful. The room smelled as if it was just cleaned. Refreshing.
- 4/5
The drawers were broken and there is a metal base to the bed which is very loud when you knock into it getting in and out of bed!!! I’d probably stay there again for the cost!
- 3/5
The breakfast was subpar. They could’ve at least had some bagels and cream cheese.
- 5/5
Hot tub room is great
- 5/5
It is a good place to stay when you are passing through. I don't suggest long stays with kids. Two story with no elevator, keep in mind when booking accessibility rooms. It was perfect for my husband and I to stop at a half way mark from Redmond, Oregon to Tumwater, Washington.
- 5/5
Absolutely amazing all the way around.
- 4/5
Staff was very friendly. When I asked about coffee, the reception person offered to make a fresh pot. I studied in the small lobby for about 4 hours - it was comfortable and peaceful. I did kill a roach in my room (bottom floor, near side exit) -- first one I've ever seen on the West coast.
- 5/5
Very easy checking. Nice comfortable and clean room.
- 5/5
Great service.
- 1/5
Front desk staff could not be bothered with me at check in and in the morning I noticed three Cockroaches on my floor with eggs in the bathroom. I checked out immediately.
- 1/5
Not the best hotel in the area
- 5/5
He was so nice and polite and had so much information around the area. The morning shift clerk, on 11/14 in the morning early shift. She was absolutely phenomenal, courteous, attentive and most of all showed the best customer service. I wish I took her name. She made me want to come back and book another hotel room The reason why she stood out, she went out of her way to help me check out when my sister-in-law was still in the room. I had to leave for work and she was willing to check me out as soon as she left.. She gave me clear instructions and she was able to check me out with no problem. She made all the breakfast area, so nice tidy, clean, and professional. I work in a visual atmosphere and marketing for a huge commercial multifamily company. And she stood out to me. Great job because of your service I’m gonna come back again!!
- 4/5
The room was clean and the staff was nice. I have no complaints.
- 2/5
The bathrooms and rooms are not cleaned properly. Hairs in the floor. Old stains in the bath tab. Bed linens fading from white with stains
- 2/5
The hot tub had like floating white stuff in it after I rinsed it out several times and the bed was so hard that it hurt your back but other than that, everything was OK oh and the pool smelled like really moldy
- 5/5
Good staff and helpful
- 1/5
I also found a towel that had long hairs wrapped around it. I used that towel to stand on as I scooted to the bed where my socks were located. After putting on my socks, I examined the towel and noticed it was dark brown and black, indicating how dirty the floor was. Additionally, the breakfast provided was stale and unappetizing. Overall, this was a terrible experience.ionally, the breakfast provided was stale and unappetizing. Overall, this was a terrible experience.
- 1/5
COCKROACHES!!! Woke up at 2am, went to the bathroom. When I turned on the light, cockroaches scattered throughout the room and bathroom. Disgusting! There was also feces of some kind under the desk. And the sink would not drain.
- 3/5
The room was clean but the bed was old and needs replacing. The pillows were flat and no amount of fluffing helped. I ended up going to the store to purchase one. It was quiet and close to shopping and dining so that was really nice. The staff was really nice and seemed to be happy with their job. The price was good.
- 5/5
We smelled marijuana outside our window upstairs about 4:00 a.m. on emorning.
- 5/5
The staff was amazing and my room was clean.
- 4/5
Property is showing it's she but kept up nicely. Staff was friendly.
- 1/5
The whole hotel was beat up. Smelled like weed throughout the first floor. We also had an exposed outlet in our room.
- 3/5
Room smelled like cigarette smoke.
- 3/5
Very nice
- 4/5
Not as bad as some of the other reviews suggest but the room could be cleaner.
- 4/5
We were visiting my daughter who lives in the Portland area so we didn't spend much time in the room but the hotel was clean, and the people were very friendly and helpful.
- 1/5
we needed a wheelchair accessible room for deaf and blind. they gave us a second floor room. One of us used the room one night of our stay and asked at the front desk for a first floor room with two queens. They gave us a one king room on first floor and offered us an exxtra night free. when I checked us out Sunday night, they told me I had to pay an extra $165. The lady at the front desk did not know about the promised extra night, and thought we were being rude. She did not understand deaf, so it was difficult to talk to her. She would not listen to me.
- 3/5
Stayed for 2 nights. The hotel’s hardware and fixtures are okay. The room services had the room for improvement. bathroom had no soap, no face towels. This hotel provided continental breakfast with few items. It did not have real butter, only margarines.
- 2/5
Older hotel. Needs updating. Reasonable for the price.
- 5/5
This property was excellent for us and the staff were pleasant and helpful.
- 3/5
Property has things in rooms that badly need replacing and make it look less than desirable. Such as lamp shades are ripped.. if budget is so tight for these items overlooked… what else is not being taken care of. Staff are very friendly and great. Breakfast was ok. On the light side though.
- 2/5
Room smelled stale, old smoking rm I think. Site has no elevator. Shower dispenser was out of soap and shampoo.
- 5/5
Very nice stay and the staff( Anisha) was very helpful and informative!
- 2/5
It just wasn't a pleasant, and I felt lucky that we actually didn't spend much time there. I will not be staying here again.
- 3/5
The breakfast had limited choices. The desk clerk was not sensitive to our needs.
- 4/5
The pool was very nice. It is bigger than most hotel pools and was never crowded. The rooms was not emaculate but clean . My company computer blocked the us of the wify. Not a good sign for the safety of the wyfi. Breakfast was basic but okay.
- 1/5
Our bathroom had blood all over it upon arriving, talked to front desk and they didn’t seem pleased to even deal with us. The cleanliness of this hotel was horrible. After traveling on a plane to get here the stay was very unfortunate and staff was not helpful.
- 1/5
The lobby of the hotel as nice. The room however, was run down. The furniture was worn and should have been replaced. The door to the bathroom had wall paper on it, that was torn and tattered. The plumbing in the toilet was broken. I had to remove the lid to the toilet and adjust the flushing mechanism every time I flushed. I was there for two days. I asked to be compensated for my stay. The person at the desk said I had to speak with Expedia.
- 3/5
I booked the room because my daughter just had her first baby and I wanted to be close to her apartment to care for her. Upon getting to my room(221), I wanted to wash my face and freshen up before heading to to the hospital. I leaned over the sink and my shirt got wet, and I quickly figured out it wasn't water. It was some sort of cleaning agent that bleached my new T-shirt. Irritated, I changed and left for the hospital. When I got back at 3 something AM, I went into the bathroom and the light wouldn't turn on. It took two on off's before it came on. The fan wouldn't work at all. In the morning to shower, I was confronted with long black hair (I'm shoulder length Silver and dark ash blonde) on on the surround wall so obviously the cleaners aren't super thorough and because the fan didn't work, my room would get muggy after my shower. The bed was alright for comfort as were the pillows so at least I was able to sleep pretty decently. It was a place to stay with close proximity to my daughter and Grandbaby so I'm happy about that but that room is not worth the $174 daily rate posted on the door and thank God I didn't have to pay that but it still really wasn't worth the rate I did pay. The Property was clean enough outside and I did consistently see house keeping. The staff was courteous enough. I did feel safe staying there so I suppose that's the most important thing.
- 4/5
Was clean and convenient.
- 3/5
It was close to telatives that we came to visit.
- 1/5
Our bed was hard. The people above us ran back and forth in their room till 11 pm. When we got up the next morning and turned on the lights the roaches ran. We chose not to eat the breakfast that was being served due to the roaches in our room. Who knows where else they might be. Said something to girl at the front. She said she would let the owners known. I hope they do some pest control.
- 2/5
Dirty,smelly, broken appliances.
- 4/5
They had a nice little complimentary breakfast, pool area was nice
- 5/5
Pleasant stay overall.
- 3/5
No elevator which really stinks because my husband and I both have back/neck issues and medical issues. We had to carry our bags upstairs even after saying we had these issues. Might reconsider for our next trip a different hotel, even though the convenience was really good to where we go when visiting.
- 4/5
The stay is ok considering the price we paid.
- 5/5
Our stay was very nice. I wish they would put an elavator in the loby for the second floor. very hard for seniors to get there luggage and belongings upstairs.
- 5/5
Easy access to the concert venue. Very clean and hospitable.
- 5/5
Easy parking and a Burgerville drive thru connected to the parking lot!
- 4/5
Poor room service
- 3/5
The air conditioner was very noisy and needed maintenance, the shower head was very loose and about ready to fall off, and there was a stain on the ceiling and the usb ports on the lamps were broken, bottom drawer in the dresser was broken off the slides
- 4/5
Room is roomy and clean with comfortable bed. Have refrigerator and microwave, which is very convenient. Continental breakfast selection is limited but is delicious.
- 5/5
Grrat
- 3/5
Also, they should advertise the fact that they do not have an elevator. You don't put disabled people on the second floor if you don't have an elevator. I am a disabled person, and I had to carry all my luggage up the stairs. That was extremely difficult for me. I have a service animal and had to manage my service dog and my luggage up and down those stairs.
- 4/5
Floor was popped up other than that it was good
- 2/5
Checked in and 9:30 pm to find out we’re on the 2nd floor with my elderly mother who can’t safely do stairs. They were 100% full with no options. Next day we were able to relocate to 1st floor to a room with water damaged laminate floors that needed replaced. Staff did what they could. Owners need to make upgrades and let it be known that there is no elevator.
- 2/5
Impossible to sleep because of the loud noise from the air conditioner. There were spiders in the room and the lights flicker in the bathroom and the shower curtain was too short for the rod. Wouldn’t close all the way and there was water everywhere. Also who charges for WiFi?? Will not be staying here in the future.
- 2/5
The property itself was clean and sufficient, but the check in woman was absolutely rude to me. If she was having a bad day, I'm sorry...but she had no reason to treat me the way she did. She practically yelled at me and I did not yell at her, I just clammed up. I was so tired and distressed that I just about cried. She really should provide better customer service, because she provides the first impression of the hotel. I have NEVER been treated so poorly by hotel personal.
- 3/5
Good location
- 2/5
water damaged floor. cracked shower, cracked sink. toilet seat breaking apart. old furniture (tables and chairs). full of cockroaches. they would crawl up the shower curtain while showering and on to the tables when I was working. bed looked well taken care of and was nice. linens were clean. when I called to let them know of the cockroaches, they told me please submit any other complaints online then hung up.
- 2/5
This property should be completely refurbished. They charged high price as well. We were not happy at all.
- 2/5
Staff was not friendly, one paper coffeecup, coffee nor cup were replenished for the following day, and room was not very clean. While realizing the building is anything but new, it could have been cleaner and smelled better. Maintenance is key
- 5/5
Nice stay over for 1 night. Comfortable bed. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. Nice soak in the hot tub and decent pool.
- 4/5
The air conditioner/heat was excellent, very quiet when turning on and off, especially nice for a lite sleeper. The room was clean, carpet vacuumed, but stained and needed a deeper clean. The sink had no stopper making it a challenge to keep items out of the drain. Staff were pleasant and efficient in their duties. The motel was in the direct path of the airport which sometimes sounded like the plane was barely overhead.
- 5/5
Very big room. Slightly outdated, but everything was clean and what we needed. Stayed on the 2nd floor. There is no elevator so beware if bringing large or heavy luggages. Did not hear the neighbors through the walls, but can hear people walking in the hallway and noises from loud cars.
- 3/5
I like the proximity to Multnomah Falls, the Grotto and the airport. Dining options are also good. The hotel itself is old and needs renovation. The staff could be friendlier.
- 3/5
I liked the convenience and the price. The room smelled in desperate need of some quality detail workmanship and upgrades.
- 3/5
Mattress was hard and breakfast was subpar
- 4/5
Nothing fancy, worked for an overnight stay before moving on to our trip
- 4/5
Room was spacious with comfortable beds and sitting area. Room had coffee maker, microwave and fridge. The lobby had coffee 24 hours with comphy furniture and early newspaper. Breakfast was included and the hours were convenient to an early morning start.
- 5/5
Clean n responsive staff
- 4/5
It was close by
- 4/5
We have stayed here before. This time it was a little upgraded and no marijuana smell.
- 4/5
I
- 5/5
A great area to get to and Farrah was awesome! We had never stayed here. Very close to McMenamins for a concert we attended.
- 4/5
Second floor room. No elevator. Had to lug everything upstairs - wish I would’ve realized this before booking. Room is decent though.
- 3/5
Rooms look like it had some remodeling, however that did not apply to the restrooms. Overall, good for sleeping, staff was friendly.
- 5/5
Only comment on the room is that flooring needs replaced (some warping of the planks) I would definitely stay there again
- 2/5
Needs an elevator if more then one floor, our room smelled like human pee and the beds were okay.
- 5/5
The pool and the rooms have been renovated and they look beautiful! The pool area now has a Jacuzzi!
- 5/5
Nice people.
- 5/5
Good
- 4/5
Enjoyed our stay in Gresham. The hotel was conveniently located near areas of interest for us.
- 1/5
Make sure people don’t bring animal in the carpet room
- 1/5
It was filthy scary .
- 3/5
But...in keeping for the price; which is the only reason I would come back-the price is right
- 3/5
Carpet was very sticky in many places, bottom drawer in room won’t close, the house keeper kept forgetting to leave towels and cups. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast and someone had a very large dog on the second floor which no pets were allowed
- 2/5
Room was not cleaned properly. Bathroom toilet was dirty. Hair on the towels and in the tub. Bed sheets were stiff and scratchy. Mattress was not comfortable.
- 5/5
Great
- 3/5
Smelled old and stale in lobby and hallways. Our room smelled horribly (dog urine maybe??), but we were too exhausted to try to change rooms, eventually got used to it. Opened to window to air the room out which was nice until we realized the smoking area was right there. Our room faced the parking lot. There were black out curtains, but maybe they are not large enough because our room was fairly bright all night. If you need a place to stay under a certain budget, it's alright, but worth another $50/night to stay somewhere else.
- 2/5
One of the house keeping staff was not professional came knocking at our door before 11am.
- 5/5
Great stay, Burgerville next to property was great! Slept great!
- 5/5
On three different occasions I saw senior citizens having trouble getting up and down the stairs. No elevator. Other than that it was a very pleasant place to stay.
- 3/5
Fairly old amenities and a good deal of wear and tear in the rooms but everything was clean and well kept.
- 5/5
Pool facilities were open till 11 and clean!
- 2/5
They had some issue with the reservation from hotels.com. Then there was weird cream like substance all over the coffee table. The price was crazy for what I’m used to paying for a much classier place.
- 2/5
The bed wasn't the most terrible I've slept on in a motel, but it didn't offer any cushioning. I don't know if the loud rock music was coming from outside, or another room. I also requested a room away from the street and they put me right next to it. It's on a busy 4-lane street. Luckily, the air conditioning fan cancelled out a lot of the noise.
- 3/5
Nice room. Second floor but no elevator so keep that in mind if you have lots of baggage. Coffee pot was dirty and had old coffee in the filter. Tried to clean it so I could brew my tea. Was also in the bathroom which I thought wasn’t the cleanest choice.
- 2/5
First off, I do want to say the staff was kind and doing their best. The first room they had us in we walked in to bloodstains all over the carpet by the bathroom, and the bathroom door had a hole where it was kicked in. There were splotches of something on the ceiling and one was gelatinous looking or snot. They were kind as we requested a different room. The gym is a closet, and located in the pool area so hot and muggy. Everything didn’t work except for the treadmill which didn’t tell you speed or distance as the console was broken. Breakfast is small but fine. Staff was nice.
- 5/5
ok
- 4/5
Wonderful staff. Room contained sofa bed a plus. Should have asked for a room away from street there was a bit of road noise.
- 4/5
It was an okay place to stay. Quite clean. Okay breakfast. Nice decor in the rooms and the entry lounge.
- 4/5
The property is located in a well lighted area and very quiet.
- 5/5
Hi, this response is required.
- 3/5
Thought it was fine for our purpose also close to food.
- 2/5
Hair on multiple pillows and flooring was coming up creating a major trip hazard. I didn’t expect a lot but did expect clean bedding (we were passing through and didn’t have many options). The employees were helpful with my concerns.

What I liked:The room was clean and bed was comfortable. The AC worked well. Staff was friendly and helpful. Things I didnt like: the walls in the toilet area were dirty or stained (room #220 behind the bathroom door). Need to be repainted. Also they needed to have more regular coffee because there were alot of people waiting for coffee in the morning at the continental breakfast. The coffee holders all said "Light Coffee" on the front.

I had to get a room for a friend to get her mental health in order and it was private and discrete.

Can not turn left onto Stark. Makes it difficult to go west on Stark since this is Avery busy intersection

Staff were friendly, efficient, and accommodating, even with a late check in. Room was spacious, clean, and quiet. Most important, our pup feels comfortable here, too :)

The motel is in need of a face lift in general. Hard to tell if the room was just run down or if it also was not all that clean. I think both. The room smelled of smoke, carpet was dirty, and half the shower head was missing.

Front counter person seemed comatose, unfriendly. Took about 15 minutes to get our key. When we reached our room, we walked in to find it was already occupied. Does not give you a sense of security! Room was bad, everything seemed broken, uncared for.

The rooms are very old and am need of complete renovations. Rust on door hinges, sink literally waitung to fall out, holes in ceilling, holes in door, sticky carpet, etc.... I was only there to sleep but it is enough to make me say "last time there."

The location was good for the places I was going. The room had stoppers missing in the sink and tub - you could loose jewelry down the drain, and could not take a bath. The cleaning service was spotty - bathroom OK but nothing else. Breakfast was decent - the make your own waffle machine worked wonderfully, but why have bagels, cinnamon bread, etc. and no butter? And finally, and this is not the hotel's fault, GPS needs to catch up - they will tell you to make a left onto Stark where it is a right turn only.
